381  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Basic Tutorial sa TRENDLINE on: February 15, 2024, 10:50:31 AM

382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Difference between afford to lose and can't afford to lose. on: February 15, 2024, 06:59:27 AM
When you are depending on someone for assistance because you want to gamble it means that you are risking what you can not afford to lose. Why because you don't have the money to gamble but someone have to give it to you before you can stake.
But when you have jobs that pays you money so well and you are gambling it means you are risking what you can afford to lose. Why because ones you lose your job will give you another money.

It’s still a case to case basis because some people have money that can get on certain period of time such as time deposits, investments and even job salary. People on this situation can ask for assistance to gamble with money that they can afford to lose. Example they are waiting for their 100k money while they are just asking for 1K for gambling.

Quote
However, many people would say even if you have jobs but you are staking higher it also means you are gambling with what you can not afford to lose. Moreover it's true and I have to dauth but I have a feeling that ones someone that have a good paying job is staking more than what he can afford to lose, there is no different between addiction there.

This is true. Having a job will not guarantee that you can afford to lose. It’s still depends on how much you can earn and the amount you gamble because there’s others expenses you need to cover aside from gambling.
383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any reliable binary options sites these days? on: February 14, 2024, 04:06:30 PM

I tried to search to see if there's any ads here in bitcointalk to find a site I can trust but was unable to find any. So did crypto binary options just disappear? I sure hope not. If you know any reputable sites that offer binary options gambling please let me know.

Binary option is not popular anymore on casino since Exchange has it with full feature and many options. Casino nowadays focus on the typical casino games such as Slot, Table Games and Sportsbook.

Some casino still offer binary option but with limited tokens only unlike exchange which offers almost all token listed on their exchanges. With this kind of game, I preferred pancakeswap prediction game. It’s almost identical to binary option since you will bet on price but the prize pool is good since it’s profit sharing which means you can get more than x2 if you bet on minority side.
384  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betting without losing your money/no need for deposit on: February 14, 2024, 02:38:21 PM
I was suppose to click on the link to see how the website works but when I read most of your comments regarding "faucets", I change my mind and just continue reading the comments. Well, I agree that faucets nowadays are just merely a waste of time, if it was in the past like before 2017, that could have been so valuable as crypto value are increasing like crazy, and it's not gonna happen again I guess.

The thread title is quite catchy, however, when the word "faucet" integrated on it, people would easily loss interest on it.

To be honest, the OP is not wrong since using faucet is the only way you can gamble without any risk of losing money because you are only playing using free money. Besides even small money on faucet can turn into huge amount once your luck kicks in on betting to high multiplier games. Add the unlimited try will make you possibly hit that one time big time win using faucet money.

Ofc this will not be feasible if you will just relying on faucet money to earn. Gambling the faucet fund is the main attraction here to make your faucet claim worth it.
385  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: February 14, 2024, 02:34:42 PM

A quick Google search about arbitrage betting will land you into a couple of results stating that casinos hate it because of the fact that it removes the risk on the player and the casinos have everything to lose. Even a 1% gain from a single arbitrage bet will eventually stack up, and casinos don't like losing money. There are certain ways how the casinos are able to detect whether a bet is arbitrage or not, and the user here even admits that it is. Casinos are in the business of making money, so why would they allow such strategy to happen if they lose 100% of the time?

This correct. It’s very unfair already to the casino if you do this kind of strategy because users that using this is literally just betting on the error of placing odds of bookmaker or simply taking advantage on casino error.

But as a gambler myself. I always preferred betting with minimal risk like this arbitrage betting if this is allowed. I just hope that sportsbook will solve this issue on their own to let gamblers restricted to bet on this kind of strategy instead of confiscating the winnings right after using the strategy.
386  Economy / Gambling / Re: I've Made Millions abusing Exploit in a Crypto Casino - AMA on: February 13, 2024, 01:49:53 PM
This is a hard story to believe without news articles detailing the hack and some sort of evidence that you’re the one who ended up with the coins. In any event, I hope you didn’t cause too many people too much pain from the stolen funds and managed to do something positive with the ill gotten gains.

Primedice experience a major hack before way bay 2014 when I’m still not a forum member. I’m not sure if the OP is really the one who hack them but this news is very popular back then since 1M$ is very huge because casino bankroll back then especially dice site is only small.

I dig some news about it and found out this https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3bh6dr/breaking_the_house_hacker_exploits_primedice_for/ discussion on reddit that matches what the OP describing.

@OP, what coins you are holding right now using your funds and by any chance, Can you provide sign message to the Bitcoin wallet address that you use to receive the hack funds?
387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Anyone +18 Play Gamble? on: February 13, 2024, 01:27:29 PM
Does gambling needs experience or anyone +18, even the inexperienced one can also play? Though playing gamble has a limited age grade or age bracket and the accepted is from  +18 years and there are some casinos hall at the door post, it is written clearly that it is only people of +18 can play. But what about the inexperienced ones, are they allowed to play gamble as well? Or they are also restricted to have the fun? In my observation, there are two elements to participate in gambling. One, you must above 18 years in my country and secondly you must have an experience to play, so I want to know if inexperienced people can also play gamble.

The main goal of having a legal age requirements for gambling is because government assumes that people will become responsible on that age. That’s the baseline age for being a responsible person then the rest is up to person on how he will develop his own character.

Experience is not a must in gambling since it’s not a job that requires a skills. Gambling is based on luck so experience will not help much for you to win. Your only advantage for having experience is you knew what’s coming so that you can control yourself to gamble responsibly. In general, anyone can play gambling as long as they have enough money to made a deposit given that they are legal because that’s the law requirements.
388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where Do You Want To Go To If You Win $2 million On Lottery on: February 13, 2024, 11:08:00 AM
People who have selected to stay in their country, why dont you wish to travel? It was never mentioned that if you win $2 millions, you are forced to spend them in a country from the list. Dont you want to celebrate such event as victory in lottery and go on a vacation? I accept that there is never enough money, that spending part of $2 millions on investing is smart. But wont it be boring to invest all and get back to usual life? If I won a lot of money or earn much more, I would travel, discover new places and get new experience without hesitation.

If you read carefully the context of the OP. He mention specifically the example as planning to move out meaning living on the country you choose. Ofc doing travel and vacation on some country will be very good to spend some of profit but living overseas is different because of high cost of living and the visa expenses which you will need to renew since you are not a permanent resident.

Also living with foreigners as tourists will always makes you an outcast so it’s really convenient to spend that huge amount of money on environment that you are comfortable since you knew your neighbors. If ever I will hit this huge jackpot, I will spend my life on a house in mountain top. This is really my dream house.
389  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why are people getting scared to Trade on: February 13, 2024, 10:49:16 AM
Lately, I have noticed in most crypto groups I'm in,  many crypto enthusiasts are increasingly participating in airdrops and crypto events organized by exchanges or project developers to earn USDT or tokens. Is it because these "people" are afraid to trade or they do not believe they can make money from trading? Don't get me wrong, I understand that this can also generate passive income, but what I'm curious about is whether these activities truly yield significant profits or not.

Trading have risk while airdrop is free to join for a chance to win free money. Trading is different on airdrop, most importantly trading is not the only way to earn on crypto because there’s DeFi which you can just stake your token to earn passive income and many more.

So joining on airdrops doesn’t mean people is scared on trading but rather they just want to get the opportunity of having free token by free participation. Besides newbie should be scared on trading especially if they don’t know what they are doing because you re just feeding the smart trader your money as their take profit. Trading is complex to earn consistently while investing is the one which is simple that only requires you to hold. Maybe you mixing things here.
390  Economy / Speculation / Re: What to expect this bull run? on: February 11, 2024, 04:09:30 PM
First bull run coming up for me and I am just wondering what we should all realistically be expecting over the next 18 months or so?

No one can give you any realistic expectations since no one can predict what will happened in the future that can affect the Bitcoin price for a period of 18 months. One thing is for sure that Bitcoin will keep increasing value due to its limited supply and increasing demand but there’s no exact time frame for this.

If you check the price chart history, You will notice that Bitcoin always pump after Bitcoin halving but again there’s no guarantee that it will happened again for a period of 18 months since the situation now is different to all previous halving. There’s a high chance that it will be print the same pattern but there no guarantee on it. We are just relying here on a self fulfilling prophecy on trading to make it happen again.

392  Economy / Reputation / Re: 1xBit.com Coming back to Bitcointalk, Solving all the issues. on: February 11, 2024, 01:04:03 PM
They last had activity here in May 2023. What happened to their promises of a fresh start? Did they even resolve anything when they claimed to be trying to resolve scam allegations against them?

It seemed their sole reason for coming back to the forum was to lure new victims into the scam.  They made some attempts with signature campaigns and other promotions, but there were reports and evidence that a good chunk of the folks apparently taking part were in fact fake accounts.  So we can surmise the whole thing was likely bogus and  similarly hollow was their announcement about making right all the disputes and embarking on a new honest path moving ahead. All lies!

They still have a lot of fresh player even though they have a bad reputation in the forum before this thread was created. So I really doubt that their purpose on creating this thread but maybe you’re right for the future plans in case this works which never did.

1xbit is still very popular outside the forum because I always saw their banners and some of our local streamers still promoting this casino to our country. 1xbit is only popular scammer here in Bitcointalk but I’m not sure if other forum have the same overview on this casino. There’s a history before that this kind of redemption plan turns successful like Bc.game and Betcoin.ag after solving all the pending accusations against them.
393  Economy / Lending / Re: need a loan to buy an android as a gift for my parents on: February 11, 2024, 12:16:54 PM
What is your advice sir? I am a first time borrower and would like to know the mechanics of borrowing, thank you.

Provide a valid collateral such altcoin or BTC that will cover your loan value. We are all anonymous here so the Lender will need assurance that you will not runaway with your loan.

Since this is your first time borrowing money here, I doubt someone will lend you that amount. If you have other altcoins that still holding then use it as collateral to your loan. Never loan without any collateral here or else you might get tagged since your account still no history of loan and your reputation is not that strong here to have no collateral loan.

Having an active signature campaign might get you this loan.
394  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What traders must know on: February 11, 2024, 12:01:13 PM

Yeah lots of skills that we must learn and everything needs time to learn, however lots of people will get bored when they should learn lots of skills especially when it takes time. We can try trading immediately with funds that we can afford to lose so when we practice our analysis we can earn some profit if our decision is correct. We often hear that with trading we can earn more than when we work full time but if we're already good at trading so it's better to keep working along with learning trading.

Being bored on things that involves money such as investment and trading is the stupidest things to do. You shouldn’t start risking your money if you are bored on the basics to make you successful on getting consistent profit since trading is a choice and not a must. No one force you trade that’s why you have a choice to skip if you don’t like studying anything related to trading.

But this is really happening in reality that’s why there’s a lot of dumb trader even those who’ve involved in trading for a long time because they just keep randomly buying without understanding the principle and strategy on trading.
395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever introduced an elder gambler to online betting? on: February 10, 2024, 02:53:30 PM
And you, have you ever successfully introduced an elder person to virtual gambling?

Elder gambler as in senior citizen because it’s very hard to that because they always preferred what they use to play and changing that involves new technology will always make them back off. Old people usually don’t want to embrace new technology especially if their current gambling method is working for them perfectly.

I think the only time I saw an elder gambler that embraced online betting is during pandemic when casino is not available to play while online is the only choice for them to gamble.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the benefits of cryptocurrency to the illiterate people on: February 10, 2024, 02:15:44 PM
What are the benefits of cryptocurrency to the illiterate people?

Bitcoin will give them financial freedom. Actually, they are the best holder of Bitcoin since they will surely not explore and just hold until they can sold it in high price. Literate person usually explore more in crypto that always result to confusion and multiple bad decisions.

Most of the successful person that invested on Bitcoin are those who hold the most since its value is increasing long term consistently. Illiterate person can definitely hold Bitcoin longer if there will be someone to guide them on how to purchase it. The important question is how can you convince them to invest while they don’t know how to read and write?
397  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC or Love on Valentine's day. What's your pick? on: February 10, 2024, 01:36:09 PM

My friends came up with an idea to take some time off this year and travel  to carrebean inland to catch fun and perhaps, I might find Mrs right in the course of the holiday but with BTC on a bullish move, I feel taking a whole week out of trading is a crazy idea even though the rest is needed.

Is there any trading event I can leverage on while on holiday so I can catch fun and earn at the same time.

Dating app is very popular these days. You have a high chance to find your match in that app compared to your Caribbean trip since people in vacation typically looking for enjoyment not a love life while the dating app is full of person that have same with you, to find partner.

I really don’t advise to mix trading on vacation since it might ruin your vacation once your trade result to bad trade. Just enjoy your vacation and hold Bitcoin. This way you can enjoy both earning and relaxing.
398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: February 10, 2024, 01:05:58 PM

I've never seen anyone who gambled at work yet but when the Zynga Poker on Facebook was a big trend, many employees do play that game and I am actually one who did that too. It's not gambling because there's really no money involved unless you buy the chips just so you can play the game more the whole day. That I never did.  Cheesy
Don't do this both, it's just a waste of time, we have our breaks, and we can check our social media or gamble for a bit on our smartphone if we want to but when we sit down in front of our job, we should be focused.

Is solitaire counted here because I play a lot of this game while working since I always have some waiting time when waiting my clients feedback on submitted proposals.  Cheesy

You are lucky in your company that facebook is allowed to access back in the days when Zynga poker is popular. Smart phone is not that popular that time which means there’s no other means to play at work than using the PC. Seriously, Who have the courage to play at work here especially gambling while you will risk tainting your career once you are caught. Worst is you will be banned on companies that has connection to your current employer.
399  Economy / Gambling / Re: ltc casino login on: February 10, 2024, 02:50:21 AM
For those who are too lazy to read other or previous replies and check the provided links, here are screenshots for those they mentioned.
This is another post by the OP in the thread of LTC Casino.

Why did he still deposit there? Is he not aware that there are already scam accusations against it?

You will also see that he opposed a flag, so it means that despite receiving advice to avoid this casino, he still chose and wanted to deposit and play there.

The issue was already resolved but they handle it poorly for the period of 3 months that’s why the flag and other feedback is still negative in spirit against this casino. I’m not a player of this casino but probably the bonuses they are giving to their new players is what makes OP keep coming back despite some negative review.

The casino has no standing proven scam accusation from forum members here. Also this thread is to help him to access the casino which undergo to temporary change of website domain due to potential attack.
