(From 1 to 4 I'm talking here btc/usd trading.)

edit supplied in bold letters from the quote to make it clear.

I assume that he has in mind to cash it out and not to buy back btc when the price goes down. Kaya nasabi ko din na kung ganun ang plano ay mas okay pa din sa coins.ph for easy withdrawal of fiat.

Wala pa update sa escrow partner for the ICO? Hindi dahil sa wala akong tiwala but as I understand the mainnet is not yet launch hence lisk team do not have access and that means ICO participants do not have full access to their lisk until then, right? Please correct me if Im wrong :-)
383  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Trading on: February 20, 2016, 11:27:40 AM

2. Kung HODL ka lang din, hindi po tama na ilagay mo sa exchange site ang btc mo then mag-set ng sell order at $500 waiting for the price to reach that high.

3. Kung gusto mo pa din gawin ung number 2 for profit's sake and you have in mind to cash it out ay pwede namam. Yun nga lang, mahirap po mag cash out ng USDT or USD. Kailangan nyo pa gumawa ng hiwalay na account for that.

(I'm talking here btc/usd trading.)

I only know of Haas Online and btc robot and they are not free tho. If I were you, I would stick to traditional trading, but as you have said, you are annoyed keeping an eye at the chart to set your order so you might want to try it. Keep in mind also that robot uses EMA which in my opinion barely works with btc trading.
385  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What works in technical analysis? on: February 17, 2016, 03:44:32 PM
Being technical analyst is one thing and being a trader with a good instinct is another.
Sure TA works but not all the time. I'm only using it as a reference and not entirely as decision maker. I'm always using my instinct when I make a call and it works more often than not. If it goes the other way, I can always hold my btc or fiat which ever maybe and patiently waiting for a rebound.
386  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Trading on: February 17, 2016, 01:38:44 PM
bumili ako kahapon ng x amount of btc nung nag sub-400 and immediately issued a sell order for $414 para may $15 na tubo. I wasn't even expecting to hit my price kasi around 10 pm kagabi ay ang tumal ng galaw sa btc-e.
Imagine my surprise paggising ko kanina at may notif sa cp ko that my sell order has been executed. Pagcheck ko sa highest price, it was barely above my mark.
Now, I was hopping na bumaba unte ang price para makabili ulet ako. Lets admit it, we traders don't want an upward price.

The feeling is great once your Sell Order is being hit, hurray Smiley

I myself belongs to 3rd sex but I wasn't even affected by his statement.
389  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Digital printing business eyeing to accept BTC as mode of payment on: February 16, 2016, 12:36:42 PM

@pinoycash
its not just any other digital printshop sa mga kanto. its more like a giclee print and I already have clients na alam kong into btc din.

thanks. close ko po muna itong thread.
390  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Digital printing business eyeing to accept BTC as mode of payment on: February 16, 2016, 04:25:16 AM
Salamat mga chief.

Yup, its a brick and mortar business but I also accept online orders and I'm sending it thru courier.
I will look into the merchant account sa coins kasi mas okay naman yata na may merchant account compared sa personal address di ba.

One more thing before I close this thread, what do you think is the best pinoy exchanges that I should use as my reference?
391  Local / Pamilihan / Digital printing business eyeing to accept BTC as mode of payment on: February 16, 2016, 01:39:01 AM
Hello guys,

May digital printing business ako and since nandito na din lang ako sa forum, gusto ko sana i-try tumanggap ng btc as mode of payment.
My question is:

1. Saan ko kukunin ang equivalent btc price for a certain product na i-avail sa akin? Of course, hindi pwedeng sa btc price at the time they place their order. It would be prone to a net lose.

2. Pwede kayang sa daily btc price average?

3. Or, maglagay na lang ako ng fix btc amount regardless of the prevailing price at the time of purchase?

Salamat.

392  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Trading on: February 16, 2016, 01:01:42 AM

Tumataas din po ba ung selling price ? Or ung buy lang ang bumababa at tumataas?

I'm not sure kung tama ang pagkakaintindi ko sa tanong mo or dahil bagong gising lang ako. Anyways, kung tumataas ang "buy price" same goes with the "selling price". They are correlated with each other.
393  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Guide? on: February 15, 2016, 12:07:34 PM
I guess luck must also be a key factor or am I wrong?

One way or another that may be true  because trading bitcoin is more like a gamble than anything else. You can't exactly determine its price movement because it is not directly related to any fiat governing institutions. IMO it does react to some news sometimes but other than that its purely speculations that drive the price of bitcoin.
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: February 15, 2016, 07:45:52 AM
While it may be true that making alliances with future innovative techs will help in ensuring the future of bitcoin, it's also true that government taking control can lead to a "different future" or could even hasten the demise of it.
We are already witnessing the attempt of government in ending bitcoin anonymous transactions in disguise of clamping down terrorism funding. If they were to succeed, we would be seeing a whole new different future from what the crypto community envisioned.

At first sight, I was skeptical to try this out because OP is a newbie. Not that I don't trust anyone specially a newbie because I am one myself but because I was too paranoid to try new things out of what I am used to. But since there's a legendary and sr. member vouching this app I decided to give it a try and I kinda like it. Now I can trade easily whenever I like and wherever I go. All I need is my phone.
396  Local / Altcoin Announcements (Pilipinas) / Re: Lisk | Decentralized Applications & Sidechains (PILIPINAS THREAD) on: February 14, 2016, 01:53:21 PM
This is getting interesting. I was following lisk since the time you posted it here in our local sub-forum.
I understand that "all btc collected will be held by your escrow partner."
My question is, how sure  are  the would-be ICO participants that your escrow partner are trusted? I'm asking this because I will definitely get some lisk when you have your ICO.
I don't know if you are priviledge enough to answer such, pero kung galing ang sagot sa kapwa ko Pinoy, mas maniniwala ako.
397  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Sino gusto magpapromote? on: February 14, 2016, 03:37:45 AM
That way steady pa yung income mo.
398  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Pulitika on: February 13, 2016, 09:59:08 AM

So wala ako iboboto.

and dami ko tawa dito sa thread natin. haha

Is there a trading site that has a so called demo account? (Like most of the forex sites) Maybe it can be useful to learn in the beginning and after it can be done on a live account as well.

You can try avatrade.com
They offer demo account with free $100k to polish your skill. Take note tho that I have never tried it before so there is no way I can vouch for it.
Or, you can try signing up on yobit, after 7 days, you can collect free coins, just like collecting sat on faucets minus the captcha, and from there you can start trading the altcoins you have collected. This will take some time as you need to collect an amount equivalent to about 10k sat  to be able to trade tho.
Alternatively, you can just deposit a small amount to any exchange or trading site you are most comfortable to use with and start trading right away with a meager amount while polishing your trading skill. You can move it up a notch higher when you have found your confidence.
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are so many cryptos good for the world? Or is it better to have only a few? on: February 11, 2016, 04:00:31 PM
One way or another, the dev of that 99% worthless cryptos came from another successful altcoins, who resigned and then creating their own with hope to replicate the success of that coin where they came from.
The problem here is not the coin per se but its the dev behind those shitcoins that has no concrete plan on how to move it forward. They only have a concrete plan right up to ICO then they just totally forget what they started. More like, next coin please.
