381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just WON 220 mBTC in Sportsbook on: May 24, 2016, 11:04:51 PM
I usually try to stay away from sportsbook since I'm not big into sports but casino was offering no risk bet upto 50 mBTC so I thought what the hell, I got nothing to lose. Barcelona was winning before the match so return wasn't that good, so I placed a bet on Real Madrid and hoped Ronaldo would turn the table around. Woke up to this.  Grin

Edit:

This is my second bet placed today on MLG CS Luminosity. Won again. 68 mBTC  Shocked

383  Economy / Economics / Re: Is gold better than Bitcoin? on: May 24, 2016, 07:47:01 PM
Although gold is physical, what makes me like bitcoin more is that it is digital.it is easy to transfer, although there are no refunds. I also like that it is relatively fast to transfer.

385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: May 24, 2016, 03:19:09 PM
I think Bitcoin should be introduced to new people not as a way to get free money but as a way to do better business and pay less fees in online transactions. Not everyone would be interested in clicking on faucets or posting on forums. Bitcoin can serve as a new payment method for their own private business or a new way to buy things online for less because most of the retailers offer discounts on products sold for Bitcoin.

Most of the kids here use signature campaigns for money.

It always relies on strategy. Have a good one before picking which thing to wager on. Then you will be successful in what you pick. If not, learn from your mistakes and the next choice will be the right one.

398  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: May 23, 2016, 11:46:30 PM
For long term investment,I may take gold but Bitcoin is quite a volatile investment and that makes it an appealing choice for those who want to gain in the short term. I would say gold and bitcoin are going to go up in value since they are both deflationary currencies.
399  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: May 23, 2016, 11:26:11 PM
Fiat will obviously still have some value, it's not really worthless,But by then the world economy will be going through hyper-inflation.
