381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Eimantas Stanionis vs Vergil Ortiz Jr - April 29 on: May 19, 2023, 04:49:22 AM
I'm not so familiar with these boxers, but looking at their records, I'm impressed with Vergil Ortiz Jr because he is undefeated and all of his wins have been via knockout. Are there any betting odds available for this particular fight yet? I checked one of the sportsbooks I use, but I couldn't find the betting odds for the fight. It's possible that, like other less popular fights, the odds for this one may not be readily available.

That's right, both #2 Celtics in the East and #1 Nuggets in the West could be a good matchup for this years finals.

But there could be unexpected events though, Miami is no push over, although they are 3:1 underdog against Boston, we can't discount that they might make this series a very close match. But for this game 1, I'm seeing a big win by the Celtics to make a statement, it could be a double win advantage, I reckon.

Miami is emerging as the dark horse in the playoffs as they battle the Boston Celtics. The game is currently very close, so it's too early to count them out. The Heat's great chemistry and contributions from everyone on the team make them a powerful opponent. Additionally, having Lowry on the 2nd unit adds depth, as he brings veteran experience and is playing at a high level reminiscent of his prime.

Second half break, scores: 66-57 Boston Celtics taking the lead.

The first quarter was very close though, Jimmy Butler is simply amazing in the first and if I'm not mistaken scored 12 points. But I haven't seen the 2nd quarter, but it's obvious that the Celtics might have gotten their confidence already to pull and take the lead.

But it's not over yet, Miami Heat still has the chance.
The lead is indeed manageable, and comebacks are possible in basketball games. If the Lakers were able to mount a comeback against the Nuggets, it's certainly possible for the Heat to do the same against the Celtics.

The Celtics' improved defense in the second quarter may have caused turnovers for the Heat, but adjustments can be made in the second half to address those issues. It will be interesting to see how the game unfolds and if the Heat can make a comeback or at least cover the spread.

I've read enough about your reactions to Game 1 between the Lakers and Nuggets. Now, let's discuss the upcoming game between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics.

The current betting spread is as follows:

Celtics: -8
Heat: +8
Total: 210.5

I'd like to share some thoughts about the game. Personally, I'm considering betting on the Heat. They have a history of surprising as underdogs, so at the moment (though I haven't made a decision yet), I'm leaning towards taking the Heat +7.5 on the spread and considering the moneyline as well. What are your thoughts?
385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 17, 2023, 09:25:48 AM
I didn’t feel like it was a one sided game. The Nuggets had the lead the whole game but they never got too far out of reach. LeBron even had a chance to tie it with a 3 late in the fourth. Both teams shot excellent from the field. It was a great game to watch. It had everything you’d expect. The big difference in the game was rebounds. The Lakers need to step it up on the boards. They can’t be outrebounded by nearly 20 and win.

Thought earlier that its one sided game but lakers slowly eating the lead until they make the lead of Nuggets to single digit. But they caught off guarded as the time nearly ends since if they could just sustain that energy on early part of the gane well maybe they will not get dominated by Nuggets on game 1. But for sure they learn a lot from thus so they need to be more aggressive and exert more effort on defense since provably they can take the win on game 2.
.
When the Lakers were attempting to reduce the lead, the game became incredibly entertaining to watch. I admired how the Lakers managed to stage a comeback from a significant deficit, displaying their relentless effort. However, they fell just short in the end. The Nuggets have already taken the lead in the series, but from my perspective, it seems like it will be a closely contested series. As long as the Nuggets can secure victories in all their home games, they have the advantage.

Everything about that game was yet another historic performance from THE JOKER!
386  Economy / Economics / Re: Why you should use spare money to invest on: May 15, 2023, 07:15:17 PM
Any investment could bring out the best profits or the best losses in you knowing how uncertain like bitcoin investment is. That’s the reason why we should never put an amount that is too hard to lose, but put an initial amount that you will never mind once you lose them all. After all, investing is not 100% giving you profits all the time. So in times when your investment is not working based on the plan, then it’s a good thing that we only invest using our spare money, as it could never affect our finances once it’s gone.

He asked his friend if he knew anyone in the area — they put him in touch with a trio from Greece and Albania. After partying together for several days, they apparently decided to turn on him.

From the news excerpt above, I can conclude (the victim) had leaked his true identity to men from Greece and Albania which made them have evil intentions to kidnap him. My investigation after reading all the news that you attached above, concluded (the victim) had made a big mistake that aroused other people's evil intentions. At first it looked normal, they also had a party for several days. I suspect that the victim was in a drunken state when he said everything to the kidnapper, someone can do anything when he is drunk, including leaking a list of his wealth.

The news above can be an experience for anyone to be more careful when you are with someone you just met, avoid anything that can make other people commit crimes against you. Invite a reliable friend when visiting a new place in anticipation of people who have evil intentions towards you.
I think the best lesson we can get here is to stay low key. Never show the public what’s your real life status and never show them that you are capable to afford luxuries in life. Instead, act like a regular person so that no one will suspect you that you have hidden wealth with you. And if you go to other places, try to be anonymous as you are and never trust strangers or even friends that you have just met that time.

And just like that! The stage are officially set for the WCF and ECF and It is something looks very very familiar, because this was the NBA 2020 final match up for both conferences. I thought this was going to be a tight game 7 as they traded buckets and leads in the first half, until the Celtics made a 3 pt barrage in the 3rd quarter and end it with a 25 pt lead moving towards the 4th quarter and the Sixers did not had the chance to make their own run to comeback to the game.

Tatum, who struggled in Game 6, played great basketball in Game 7, scoring 51 points. His performance was enough for his team to dominate the team led by the NBA regular season's MVP. Congratulations to the Boston Celtics for reaching the ECF once again. However, I believe that the Heat are being underestimated, and I like to think that they have the potential to upset the Celtics.

This is going to be interesting. It was the Lakers and Heat in the 2020 finals, but it looks like the Denver and the Celtics are a much stronger team now than the last time these team met in the conference finals. Will we see a Denver-Boston match up?

I'd like to see the other teams that will be in the NBA Finals, but I'm also okay with the Heat vs. Denver.  Smiley

Anyway, we have a bet on the conference MVPs. Who do you think will win in their respective conferences?
389  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the key to your success investing in bitcoin.. on: May 14, 2023, 09:54:09 PM
Get a job, at the very least, or add another source of income. If you don't have extra cash to risk on a highly volatile asset, you can't just buy bitcoin. In addition, exercise discipline in all financial decisions, just as you would in any other area of the market for investments. And more importantly, improve your security and privacy to protect your hard earned money.

That is how you stay in the long run.
You should have a stable income in the first place if you wish to invest and stay long term with bitcoin knowing bitcoin will never guarantee as a source of living. And it’s price will always be unpredictable so if you are just here for quick profits, I should say that it won’t work in bitcoin. Also, investing in bitcoin also has a high risk and if you are not ready to lose, it’s best not to invest in bitcoin and focus on real in demand businesses offline.
True. You will never be successful in one’s investment if you don’t have a stable source of income that will support your investment, as borrowing or taking a loan is a very bad idea especially for beginners who have less knowledge and no experience at all. And when you decide to invest, never think how to make profits but always think on how to stay long on your investment. That is way better than to expect real quick profits and end up disappointed and regretting.
390  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading not a get rich quick on: May 14, 2023, 08:04:45 AM
This is another sadden story again about someone that just supposed not to trade crypto and meme stocks. Trading and investment is not a get rich quick. Meme stocks trading is like gambling. Coins like bitcoin may be promising, but what if you invested at $50000, bitcoin price now at $30000. Bitcoin will get to all-time-high but not good to use the money that is not yours.

As for trading, not that it is not a get rich quick, but you should use the money that you can afford to lose. The man may wanted to return that money, but crypto and meme stock trading  landed him in prison.

The former chief financial officer of a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) was sentenced to three years in prison after embezzling $5 million, which he used to trade cryptocurrencies and “meme stocks.“

Read further about it: Ex-CFO who stole $5M to trade crypto and ‘meme stocks’ gets 3 years in prison
This is to remind us that greed will never make you successful in life, instead it will only lead to a worst situation that will make you live your life miserably. Also, committing crime will never give you an advantage but will always lead you into another crime, so be ready to pay whatever consequences that crime has resulted.

Investing and trading have high potentials to create big changes in our lives, but know that the process is always hard and may even take years before the desired goal is achieved.
391  Economy / Economics / Re: Success is fundamentally determined by luck, not effort. on: May 14, 2023, 06:30:34 AM
Luck cannot make you successful without doing anything to get profit so I think luck and efforts both are compulsory elements for a successful destination. There are number of individuals who do not want to move their hands so they cannot achieve the desired goals because they think that success will achieved without doing anything.

I think one should work hard after that its his luck that what he get as a results of his efforts. I have experienced that all those individuals who worked hard in past have brighter luck in future because they work regularly to achieve the fruitful results.

If once you don't get the desired outcomes don't think that your luck is not good but try and try again one day you will achieved the best possible chance because of efforts as well as luck.
Success will never happen with just a glimpse of luck, there should be hard work and efforts put into it so you can achieve your desired goal. Though sometimes luck does not favor you and make you feel discouraged, but do not stop there. Life is not a matter of luck, but certainly it’s a matter of choice. Whatever you face right now, it’s the outcome of your choices, and not because you were not lucky enough to become successful. So work hard and be persistent on your goal, and let your luck do the rest.
392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jason Moloney vs Vincent Astrolabio WBO 118lbs Title (May 13) on: May 14, 2023, 04:22:33 AM
I was not able to watch the fight but we have a winner.

source : https://www.facebook.com/ESPNKnockOut/

I need to watch the replay to see how Moloney won this fight. I believe he had a good chance of winning since he was the slight favorite, and it seems like he made the right decision by avoiding Donaire. I'm curious to see how he managed to secure the victory.

I also wasn't able to watch the fight, but I bet on Vincent Astrolabio to win by ML.

So perhaps if Vincent should have done more in the second half of the fight, he could have won here. But we can't do anything about it now, just another lessons for him and maybe he will get another chance in the future to crack for the belt again.

From what I read Astrolabio started very slow and allowing Moloney to dictate the game and it was like at the start of round 7 that he started to very aggressive but it was late as Moloney has piled points already from the judges scorecard.

That's an opportunity he wasted; he could have been the champion by now. Well, as of this moment, Moloney has already become a champion, while Donaire is still waiting for his fight to be scheduled. If Donaire wins, is there any possibility that Moloney and Donaire will have an immediate unification fight?

Tomorrow, Game 7 Boston Celtics versus the Philadelphia 76ers. 3:30 AM for GMT+8. I don't want to miss the live game but the time is messed up.  Cheesy I guess I am back at watching the full replay while avoiding the spoilers in my phone notifications.
No handicaps, taking the high risk.
76ers ML - @3.35
Over 198.5 - @1.73

Good luck everyone.
I appreciate your confidence, mate. Taking the 76ers on the moneyline is a good idea because they have already won twice in the same venue, so they cannot be underestimated here. This is the last game of the series, and the winner will advance to the Eastern Conference Finals, so I believe James Harden and the rest of the team will give everything to secure a victory.

While some bettors might think that the Celtics will easily win the game, the enticing moneyline odds make it difficult to pass up. I'm tailing with you, mate. Good luck to both of us!
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Awareness: Bitcoin logos on T-Shirts on: May 13, 2023, 09:55:45 PM
One of the influencer in my country has started the business of selling the shirts with bitcoin logo on it. This will not only help him get some business but at the same time, it is a step towards the crypto awareness.

Keep in mind that we live in a country where we are not allowed to buy and sell through bitcoin. Therefore he is selling the shirts in the fiat currency however all the shirts have Bitcoin logo over it. This is the maximum he can do to promote bitcoin. I hope when some day bitcoin may become a legal tender here also, then he can do the transactions in Bitcoin.

Link of the store is
https://store.ilmeaalim.com/en/
Indeed, it’s a great initiative for an influencer to promote bitcoin awareness to the public knowing that bitcoin is not well acknowledged in your country. However, that will also put his life into danger knowing the public will know eventually that he’s into bitcoin and might have probably huge amount of bitcoin hodlings in his own account. I just hope that he should be more careful and be more responsible on managing his investment since people are now eyeing on him because of his bitcoin wealth.
395  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't claim to be an investor if it's still like this on: May 13, 2023, 09:36:51 PM
An investor can mean anything to different people bu if were to look at it in the context of disussion, I will say that a true definition of an investor is a person who is ready to swallow his mistakes and learn from it, they cry over when they lost considerable amount of money into loss, they always invest another money into good coins no matter what and never give up.
In investing there will always be gains and losses. and it becomes a valuable lesson and experience for investors. but when Investors release their assets when they lose, and they no longer have assets. then they can no longer be called investors. are there investors who are called without investment assets?
failure in investment sometimes there are those who make them out. but there are also those that make them stick around and plan their return on investment better. everything is a process, no investor is always profitable without feeling a loss.
Know that successful investors today have also endured a lot of losses before but chose to never give up simply because, they believe in the potentials of their investments. And that does not mean that even if you continue to invest from a loss, you will never experience losses again. Losses will always be part in any investment, but it’s up to you how you will manage your losses and motivate yourself to stay positive and optimistic so you can still pursue on the goal that you have set in the first place. If you have that mindset, most likely you will be a successful investor in the future.

I do agree that Jokic was a very good candidate, but he really wasn't robbed of anything at all imo, Joel Embiid deserves it just as much as Jokic, but unfortunately only one can win it right ?

I agree with you on this. Although I expected Jokic to win again, Embiid's performance in the regular season cannot be neglected either. Well, the result has come out, and Embiid was awarded the MVP. I'm sure Jokic is okay with that. What Jokic wants now is to prove that he is a great player, and he aims to achieve that by winning a championship with the Nuggets.

While Embiid's team is engaged in a hard battle on the road, Jokic is already waiting for the Lakers in the WCF. Let's see if Embiid can still make it to the ECF, and who knows, we might witness a Jokic vs. Embiid matchup in the Finals. That would help settle the debate on who is better, as the champion is undoubtedly the better player.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing doesn't guarantee you to be rich on: May 13, 2023, 04:05:29 AM
You will fail a few times, probably you lost your Bitcoin to hackers or you do something stupid that cost you your Bitcoin, it's part of the way to get rich, it's never going to go smoothly that's why the majority of people believe that getting rich is oy for some set of people.
It's true that if getting rich through investing was that easy, majority of the world populations would have been rich today, but its sad that such perception doesn't work that way, that's why to be rich in life it goes beyond mere capital investing, as time, level of exposure, ability to sacrifice to get what you want and having the right knowledge about whatever skill or trade an you wishes to engage in matters a lot. And there are different kinds of investment, (i.e investment in knowledge, skill, talent or trade), which always pay off if such individual could be discipline enough to learn to perfection.
I guess everything in life should be work out on the best of our abilities and capabilities since living life is never easy and is mostly comes with risks. Knowing there are no shortcuts to success, that even investing requires a lot of preparation and honing of skills and strategies so you can take advantage on whatever the condition of the market. And take note, before you put value to your investments, invest in yourself first and everything that follows will be in smooth sailing.
398  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Understanding the Basics of Trading in the Cryptocurrency Market on: May 13, 2023, 02:52:51 AM
4. Keep Track of Your Investments: It is important to keep track of your investments in the cryptocurrency market. You can use a spreadsheet or a cryptocurrency tracking app to keep track of your trades and investments.
I am very agree with this and I want this to become a lesson for every trader, especially the new ones because it enables you to keep track of your gains and losses, assess your trading approach, and pinpoint areas for development.
There are a lot of software now to use how to track your investments/trades, like sheets or any platform free or paid. Be consistent with your record-keeping.
Keeping your investments on tract makes you become aware how far your investments have gone so far, or are they really in prosper or just taking a slight development ever since you start investing. Because if you see your investments have become less valuable over time, then maybe it’s time for you to take turns and try out new coins to invest or simply diversify your investments so that if one investment fails, at least there are still potential for your other investments to succeed and prosper.

i registered at an online casino and my deposit was not arrived(in casiono) and i contact to their support and they said you need to wait for 10 business days for your refund.

10days are completed and i still didn't received my refund, and they told that "if you don't receive your refund in 10 days then you can contact us with your bank statement"

my question is, is it safe to share bank account statement for verification purposes?  the site is reputable, but in bank statement all my information are available. is it safe to share?
I have sent a bank statement in the past when I tried to claim my winnings, but I must say, it's not safe to do so because it contains personal information and records of your finances. There is a risk involved in sending such documents. However, if you genuinely trust the gambling site and are desperate to receive your money, you may feel compelled to provide the requested information.

Seek help if you feel you are no longer in control. Make a phone call to a friend or go out and speak with someone.

This is the hardest part. I was addicted in the past, but I fixed the problem myself. It's very embarrassing to ask for help from friends. I don't want them to judge me, and I'm just not the type of person who is open enough to share my personal problems. I think the best way to avoid getting addicted is to prevent it altogether. You know, they say 'prevention is better than cure.
