381  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reaches 8000 USD on: November 20, 2017, 09:40:54 AM
It has already crossed 8000$. I can say that the price has recovere soon after the dump cause by for cancellation and all this stuff and it's looking it could rise up further. But still we mustn't forget that volatility is normal process related u Bitcoin taht can't be avoided so it doesn't have to mean that the price will go up all the time untill the end of the year. But if it does, we can expect even 10000$ as a Christmas gift.
382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash Conspiracy on: November 20, 2017, 07:04:36 AM
I don't like this conspiracy theories and this particular one has no solid ground at all. Al this speculations about bitcoin cash are exaggarted and the only purpose is to confuse te users and make drama and mess on the market. I would just ignore such articles and informations especialy when they come from such poor sources, don't bother at all. By now everyone knows the true value and status of bitcoin and to divide the community will not be successfull.
383  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: November 19, 2017, 06:38:46 PM
Btc is not a currency. Maybe an investment instrument.
Yes for now. But a few years later it may not be. A lot of coin have rising potential

Bitcoin can be used as a payment method, so it's also a currency not just an investment instrument.
At the moment probably it has the highest value but to be the strongest currency it takes much more than high value so in that part bitcoin still can't compete with fiat currencies. Bitcoin can't be used as a pillar of financial system, more as an alternative and as a paralel financial system.
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin does not have limited supply on: November 19, 2017, 12:39:12 PM
No matter the forks bitcoin is limited to 21millions and that can't be changed. Every other coin that come out as a product of fork has nothing to do with bitcoin, except a part of the name but basicly these are just altcoins that don't affect the bitcoin supply. And once when the limit of mined bitcoins is achieved the price will have the huge pump.
385  Economy / Speculation / Re: I do not have the guts to buy bitcoins now. on: November 19, 2017, 09:20:41 AM
The bitcoin price is high now and it's not the perfect time to buy but the price will be even higher with time so I think this would be good decision. Still you have to do this if you have enough funds that you don't need and you would invest it anyway but don't take the funds that are necessary to you for daily life.
If you ask me the perfect time for buying bitcoins was when the price was few hundreds of dollars but those times have passed away.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this for real ? another fork of bitcoin ? BITCOIN DIAMOND on: November 18, 2017, 10:32:35 PM
I have to say that all this bitcoin forks are going on my nervs and I don't see the meanig of that. And all this bitcoin related coins have no sense, I truly hope someone will stop this. Someone in the bitcoin community should be the voice of common sense otherwise this might get out of control and hurt bitcoin realy bad.
387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin = Laundering on: November 17, 2017, 02:16:54 PM
Some people are using bitcoin for criminal activities and to launder money (which is a crime btw.) but bitcoin is not criminal currency and not everyone is involved in that. Banks know that but some banks have negative exepriences with money laundering and maybe they have introduced some internal rules to monitor transactions connected with bitcoins but this is not a general rule and that doesn't necessary mean that you will have some consequences.
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 17, 2017, 08:42:18 AM
I'm not surprised. Bitcoin price movement is more and more flexible and it can go down fast but it can also recover very soon. We have come to the stage where fluctuation of 1000$ within one day is quite possible and no one should be surprised. And this is great opportunity for traders to make profit. It's hard to tell what would be the possible price at the end of the year but somhow I believe this would be over 8000$.
389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: if bitcoin wont exists, which coin you think can become the main one and why? on: November 16, 2017, 07:00:55 PM
ETH for me too. I think it's the coin with greatest potential and less possible problems, it's realy perspective for the future. Its current position on the market shows that too and prety much stable price rise. And it already has a significant number of supporters and users which is also very important for further development.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If i send my bitcoins to a wrong address, what happens? on: November 16, 2017, 03:45:23 PM
If you have send your coins to wrong address it's the same like you have lost them. Unless that other person don't pay you back which is not likely. Bitcoin it's not a physical thing that you can get back.
But it's good to check the address twice and don't write it manualy, use the copy paste options. Very often people lose their coins only because they are reckless or stupid. Don't be one of them.
391  Economy / Speculation / Re: any prediction for bitcoin price for december 2017 on: November 16, 2017, 11:50:56 AM
This is so tricky, to predict something about bitcoin price because the circumstances are changing all the time and the market is very turbulent. It' s not that I'm predicting but I hope nothing disturbing will happen untill end of the year like recent for cancellation that would influence bitcoin price in negative manner so the price could full recover and touch 8000$ or even more.
392  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin community is rising. on: November 16, 2017, 08:05:27 AM
To my opinion this has good and bad sides. More users lead to mass adoption and stronger support but the question is how the bitcoin with current issues can take something like this. Biger number of users and decision they make often influnece the market strongly, sometimes in bad way. The poin is tha big number of users is great if there is appropriate platform that can handle this.
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about others altcoin than Bitcoin on: November 15, 2017, 08:11:39 PM
I think that all other altcoins or their creators and supporters thing one day they will achieve the same or even biger success than bitcoin. That is not very likely and bitcoin has huge advantages compared to them but still there are some altcoins with decent potential that are worth investing. Personaly I was never interested in other cryptocurrencies, only bitcoin and all other for me are just altcoins, the only original is bitcoin.
394  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do people actually buy coins with real life money? on: November 15, 2017, 07:06:06 PM
Actually I know many people who are buying bitcoins even the price is very high. Some have even put their life savings into bitcoin because they are convinced that in short time they can earn big sum. With increased number of users and high price many people who don't know much about cryptocurrencies entered the bitcoin community and some of them are ready to invest huge amount of money without even knowing the market. But not all of them at the end will make the profit.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wake up before it is too late on: November 15, 2017, 01:46:49 PM
Wow how this forum is an unbelievable echo-chamber fueling one big ponzi scheme. Bitcoin as a currency, give me a break. A currency where it takes days to clear payments unless you pay massive fees - fees that are hostage to whatever vagaries the miners have? And if you don't, you are left in limbo where you have no idea whether it takes minutes, hours or days to move your money? A currency which is heavily impacted by "civil wars" with rival crypto currencies? A "currency" even less stable than the former Zimbabwean dollar. Don't get me wrong - the other crypto "currencies" equally well fit the ponzi scheme.

It is abundantly clear from reading in here for quite a while that the vast majority of people speculating in here are simply pinning all their hopes and dreams on the notion that these tulip bulbs - sorry tokens - can only rise in value. Sorry to say, but some people are going to get hurt badly eventually....

Your post is just the proof that bitcoin is obviously not for everyone, at least not for the people who don't know anything about bitcoin and its history, or any cryptocurrecy, how it's functioning and expect nothing but profit all the time. Huge price increase has brougth to bitcoin many good things but also too many ignorants who only wanted to get a lot of money over night and when they didn't manage it, they are very disapointed. For the things that you don't understand the easist thing to say is they are no good.
396  Economy / Speculation / Re: HOW LONG WILL BITCOIN FALL CONTINUE on: November 15, 2017, 10:19:24 AM
With time bitcoin has become more and more resilient but some issues still can strike it with deep impact, like the fork cancellation last week. Still the recovering process is also becoming faster nad the period when the price is down is the best period to buy more bitcoins. Now we are very close to 7000$ again with the tendency to further rise so I don't expect some biger fall again until the end of this month.
397  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why people fear about BITCOIN on: November 15, 2017, 08:35:35 AM
People have fear about issues connected to bitcoin, like volatility, lack of regulation and adoption, the fact that is new technology that could develope in many diferent ways and similar. On the one side they are attracted to bitcoi because of huge profit potential but on the other they have fear (with reason) that they could lose everything because no one can't predict for sure what will happen in a year or two or even further in the future.
398  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin still reach $8k this year? on: November 14, 2017, 04:30:34 PM
It's possible, of course, but it's depending how the situation in the bitcoin community and on the market will develope. Recent few days we have seen not so pretty situation and all the mess about fork and all this influence the price. So, both, the pumps and dumps are possible, depending on the environment. And someones' interests, I would say.
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nearly a third of people think bitcoin will collapse in the next six months on: November 14, 2017, 01:59:22 PM
I'm not sure how relevant are this data and what was the scope of users who gave this opinion. Bitcoin is volatile, it always has been and it alwys will be it's not something stable, secure and fully predictable and so must be treated. If the price goes down for a while that doesn't mean bitcoin will collapse and vanish and people have to understand that they can't get profit all the time, endlessly. Something like that doesn't exist, this is kind of spoiled children thinking.
400  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin actually just a Investment coin? on: November 14, 2017, 10:20:26 AM
I don't agree that bitcoin is only the investment coin. It can be used for any payment online or offline, directly or through debit cards, so it's also the payment method, it's money. And that is the beauty of bitcoin, you can use it in multiple ways, depending on your preferences and possibilities. But some people use it only as an investment and the method to accumulate profit. To my opinion it is pitty not to use all the possibilites that bitcoin gives us.
