Second that Chrome has the Windows wallet flagged and wont allow it to download.

Also... the address on your website is for a private residence across from a church cemetery in Lexington NC... can anyone else confirm that is what they see on the site?
382  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: May 12, 2014, 02:28:24 PM
Can someone generate a list of Dividends paid per share (old/new/whatever just specify) that have been paid since the over-payment in January?

Instructions... look at asset listed posted, find address with convenient number of shares (1, 10, 100, 1000 etc) enter it into blockchain.info to see the transactions, photocopy your monitor to record list, then type it all into VisiCalc on your Apple II and do fancy shit.

LOL... yeah no... LRM needs to publish the past and current weekly breakdown... there was no reason to ever stop posting a weekly breakdown.
383  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: May 12, 2014, 05:54:22 AM

Nope... LRM will either keep paying it anyways or LRM will get to keep them if it is legal to do so.
I would suspect Lab_Rat will just nullify the contracts, and everyone's divs will go up a tiny percentag.

grnbrg.

How in the hell would divs increase AT ALL if contracts are no longer "proportional" just because someone agrees to the destruction of their contracts? It doesn't... it is just more BTC that will not go into divs... it just stays with LRM. On the old contract... yeah... that would have been the proper outcome... but someone relinquishing their contractual rights will not make our 100 MH/s contracted dividends increase unless it is counted as the "bonus".
384  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: May 12, 2014, 03:39:16 AM
I'm officially out of this mess.  I have requested that LRM burn my shares and no longer pay anything to my wallets.  Thank god I tested the waters (put a small amount in to be able to watch) before putting the rest of hardware budget into it.

Those who lost larger amounts have my sympathy.  Feel free to contact me if you need help with anymore of this.  I got away with minimal loss and after consideration realize, it's just not worth the time.

These shares are worthless to me. G' luck peeps. . .peace out.  Not worth my time.

I'm baffled why you wouldn't just sell them?

Or just let them continue to pay (even if it's small amounts it's still something).

Or give them to me Cheesy

No I want nothing to do with this.  I don't want to sell them, because they are hardly worth anything near what I paid for them and I don't want to pass on what I consider to be a bad investment.

Fair enough, so the generated income goes into the ether then? Seems like a waste to me (cutting off the nose to spite the face sorta thing).
I've invested in worse but I do understand.

Nope... LRM will either keep paying it anyways or LRM will get to keep them if it is legal to do so.

Regarding DEM transactions

I mined block 151,165
I waited for the block to mature.
I withdrew 5.00 DEM to address NXyGNYtsZ9PnYcmUgSt13eVu64PXT3JaAT
The transaction was queued and went out immediately.

386  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: May 11, 2014, 08:14:41 PM
I have told lab_rat and grnbrg to switch to new contract. May I received the complete dividends of this week?
I have received your PM to convert to the April 25th contract.  I will pass it on to Zach, and you will begin receiving any bonus payments beginning next week.

Unless there are unusual. extenuating circumstances, anyone who did not convert to the April 25th contract before the May 13th divs were paid were therefore not eligible for the May 13th bonus payment.  You still have the option to convert to be eligible for future bonus payments.

If there is anyone who did contact myself or Lab_Rat to convert prior to the May 13th dividend payment, but did not receive the bonus payment, please contact myself or Lab_Rat, and we will resolve the issue.  Zach does not believe there are any people in this category, however.  (And note that the error reported by sparky999 was not due to a lost email.  It was a more complex problem, which is being resolved.)

May 13th? Try again...

Fuck.

I hate it when I moron.

grnderp.

Feel free to delete it as i deleted the above post and will also delete this one afterwards.

Does no one else bother to look at the tx anymore?

While LRMs 1GHz... addy shows the income from our ~18TH/s... there are numerous inputs coming from odd places...

Like this one just an hour AFTER a ghash.io withdraw... https://blockchain.info/tx/3ccde9a774ff912eec0b7b8ba851e9badb0cdf25d9117b37e724d92ff9713e42

Or this one serveral hours after a ghash.io withdraw but more than should have been mined in that time frame if this came from ghash... https://blockchain.info/tx/3a93d9b98599861f36e8b6512f83ff968a83dafba81cb4c517addd0a8ff45741

Take a look... just go down the list from the main payout addy here... https://blockchain.info/address/1GHzP4Lt5jnCo5RWKAzLYo273pis4wrRox

Well it's more work this week for sure...

Charitable opinion: He gave everyone a little extra time to get their contract acceptance in and will be sending out shortly.

Uncharitable opinion: It's a fustercluck, he's made himself 10x more work and it will take "two weeks" to get sorted out.
Option A.  He's working on it now.

grnbrg.

End result of option A needs to include a post here with a breakdown.
389  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: May 09, 2014, 04:48:15 PM
I emailed Lab_rat just now to convert me... not like it matters for me really...

I still have yet to see one single response to the most basic request...

WHERE IS OUR WEEKLY BREAKDOWN OF EARNINGS AND DIV PAYMENTS?

Are we so worthless in LRM's view that we no longer deserve to have a post detailing at least the earnings and dividends for the week anymore?

With conversion and the deadline approaching... I expect at least this to be reinstated weekly like before... there is ZERO reason not to tell us what LRM mined and paid each week.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BETA][EXCHANGE][REALTIME] CoinEX realtime exchange on: May 09, 2014, 12:42:28 AM
Just confirmed LTC witdrawals working myself. I am now coinex-free, just to be safe. Cryptsy has a pretty decent track record right?

Craptsy has a record of holding coins your for days to weeks when the price is on the rise and then returning them when they are in the shitter.

LOL wow that was a doozie... Cryptsy has a GREAT track record... there is no way you consistently had coins held as you described... other than a couple of times when user base surged and they did not have enough server capacity to run smoothly... there has yet to be anything near the scale of what you are trying to relate.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [CLOSED] Ninja Group Buy #5 - QTY 8 Gridseed LA6M 48Mhash Scrypt [0/160] on: May 07, 2014, 04:55:36 AM
GAW is hocking the individuals for $80.

We still have 160 correct? Best case scenario... you can get them all sold for about $11K and we can all benefit from a 50%+ increase in hashrate.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [CLOSED] Ninja Group Buy #5 - QTY 8 Gridseed LA6M 48Mhash Scrypt [0/160] on: May 07, 2014, 04:28:39 AM
We're thinking the smart move is to ebay as many of these as we can right now and switch the group to one of the A2 60Mhash miners.  If we can sell them quickly enough we should be able to net enough funds for the upgrade.  What sayeth the group?

I would be for it. Any thought to giving the group owners a chance to buy some first then eBay?
393  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: May 05, 2014, 06:51:08 PM
Those of you deep into this debacle need to step up rather than hide and hope LR has your best interests in mind...

Cowardice for the sake of profit is still cowardice.

I believe they have on their own... but it is not in their best interests to ever post here...

Bet though... their lawyers are already on retainer and LRM is due some hefty paperwork shortly.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BETA][EXCHANGE][REALTIME] CoinEX realtime exchange on: May 05, 2014, 04:00:36 PM
It's now official, CoinEx ran with the money or a clever way to say it...

"The coins were used as salary"

Those guys should be hunted down like the dogs they are!!!

The only thing official is you can't spell...

The name is totally wrong and all mods appear in yellow text.
395  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: May 05, 2014, 01:26:40 PM
Yah that's pretty close to ad hominem or close to a moral high ground or appeal to authority type fallacy by insinuating the level of ownership relates to the validity of the opinion.

Only if the answer is "zero" does it matter.
396  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The Habanero Project - Third Party HF Mining Board on: May 03, 2014, 03:45:53 AM
price is spicy ! without the cost of psu, cooling & shipping.  hope it can be more affordable & competitive.

$1500 Habanero
   $95 H80i http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Series-Extreme-Performance-Liquid/dp/B009ZN03AA
  $170 Rosewill 1kW Gold 83A single 12v+ http://www.amazon.com/Rosewill-CAPSTONE-1000-M-Continuous-Certified-Modular/dp/B00GMDENMA/ref=sr_1_3?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1399087596&sr=1-3

Grand Total = ~700 GH/s for $1765 without controller

Same price as ~6 S1 Antminers
~$1500 = 6 X ~$250 (.55 BTC)
~  $240 = 6 X 500W EVGA PSU http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-80PLUS-Certified-ATX12V-100-W1-0500-KR/dp/B00H33SFJU/ref=sr_1_20?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1399088255&sr=1-20

Grand Total = ~1100 GH/s for $1740 no controller needed

Yes the S1s pull double the power... but for 50%+ the hashrate in this pricing comparison.

They also have already been assembled so are stack-able, do not require CAT5 if you want to use the wireless and are also in stock now.

No offense MrTeal... I just agree that the Habanero missed its comparable price mark...

Are you by any chance here to promote your quickstopcoporationshop site? Following sparky999's comments I've also become curious as to why you are participating in this thread.

No, I was an early supporter of Lab_Rat and his program on the BFL site, this site and elsewhere and I wish to make it clear that I no longer suport his program and wish to warn current users and potential users of the pitfalls.

I have heavily involved in the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency world in general and have as much stake in the outcome of this debacle as a paid user.

Although I considered in vesting in Lab_Rat's operation I chose not to because I saw little point in investing through a third party in vapourware which would not show up and get to work mining in a reasonable period of time.  Instead I opted for atlcoin miners using readily avaiable mobos, PSUsand GPUs, which while occasionaly subject to out-of-stock delays could nevertheless be placed into service within a few weeks at most of my or a client's investment.

I was not so mean as to include a cluase in my agreement which said that if things go South, you can't sue me.  (By the way, I ran that clause past my attorney who is a retired District Court judge, who giggled a bit and told me that one would last right up the time it hit the first courtroom because it pretty much goes against public policy)  What I did do was include a clause which stated that if the law changed such that the public mining operation became to expensive to continue or impractical taht the "investor" or "mining partner" could keep the crypto mined and accept one of the two following options:

(1) Receive a full refund in whatever currency the original investment had been made.

or

(2) Have the equivalent amount in equipment sent to them provided they covered the shipping costs.

Needless to say, when I notified my mining partners in a timely manner of the changes without doing a dance like Lab_Rat, most opted for a straight refund.  Some of my people are disgruntled; Hell, I'm disgrunteld by the rulings and required steps to stay in compliance but you don't have people coming in here howling how I wouldn't return their money, do you?

I took care of business without doing a dance that no one could follow.

Why did I close my public mining operations?

Because the law changed and mining operations such as mine and as Lab_Rat's become Money Transmitters and Money Service Businesses under the March 18, 2013 FIN-Cen ruling and subsequent rulings, if you doulbt me, read these and weep:

http://fincen.gov/statutes_regs/guidance/html/FIN-2013-G001.html

http://www.fincen.gov/news_room/rp/rulings/pdf/FIN-2014-R002.pdf

"For purposes of the guidance, FinCEN refers to the participants in generic virtual currency arrangements, using the terms “exchanger,” “administrator,” and “user.” An exchanger
is a person engaged as a business in the exchange of virtual currency for real currency, funds, or other virtual currency.

An administrator is a person engaged as a business in issuing (putting into circulation) a virtual currency, and who has the authority to redeem (to withdraw from circulation) such virtual currency. A user is a person that obtains virtual currency to purchase goods or services on the user’s own behalf.

The guidance makes clear that an administrator or exchanger of convertible virtualcurrencies that (1) accepts and transmits a convertible virtual currency or (2) buys or sells convertible virtual currency in exchange for currency of legal tender or another convertible virtual currency for any reason (including when intermediating between a user and a seller of goods or services the user is purchasing on the user’s behalf) is a money transmitter underFinCEN's regulations, unless a limitation to or exemption from the definition applies to theperson. 8

The guidance also makes clear that “a user who obtains convertible virtual currency and uses it to purchase real or virtual goods or services is not an MSB under FinCEN's regulations."

The ruling makes it clear that both my operations as well as thouse of Lab_Rat would be considered to be Money Transmitters, requiring FIN-Cen registration as well as licencing as a money transmitter in each and every state that has money transmitter laws in which we would do business.

Such licencing is a very expensive proposition involving millions of dollars in bonds and expensive licences.

I have moven my mining operation into a private corporation which mines for only for itself, which does not distribute the mined crypto to others except in the case of payment for goods or services, thus exempting the operation for m the requirements of the recent rulings.

I think Lab_Rat's problems also extend to having put out a ton of $ for equipment that will not be delivered in a timely manner, thus delaying its effective use.

Lab_Rat's problems will snowball, I think and the results will not be pleasant and a detriment to the crypto community as a whole.

He should come clean right now and get these issues resolved before the whole thing goes down in flames like the Hindenburg!

My $.02.

Wink

Now I am certain! Knew that was you RR! LOL!
398  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [SOLD OUT] Ninja Group Buy #4 - 30 Hosted ANTs + 7 - 290X [0/300] .3btc on: April 28, 2014, 01:40:22 PM
Unfortunately this group buy is no longer operating with a profit and will be wound-up.

We are winding-up this group buy, as well as group buy #1, #3, and #4.

Process for taking delivery (if you have multiples of 10 shares):
PM me for an invoice for the $99 fee, and will reply with an email address for you to send the shipping labels to. You need to provide your own shipping labels.  I'll post the exact dimensions and weight in an update tomorrow.

If you pre-paid hosting, we will return your unused hosting payment at the bitstamp rate. Give us a couple of days to let the dust settle and we'll get it out.

If you have less than 10 shares or if you don't contact me for shipping arrangements; we are buying back the shares at .035 each. We will complete the buyback on May 1st for Group Buy #1 -Group Buy #4 so please get in touch before then.

Ninja,

GB 5 was dependent on other GBs good standing? What does this mean we have to do for GB 5 now?

Everyone else,

FYI I am interested in buying some shares to bring myself up to 10 total in GB 4 so I can acquire an Ant. I will post in the trade thread with my offer.

Edit: Already taken care of!

399  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: April 27, 2014, 05:03:02 PM
From the past few days experience.  There is no way to answer questions on here reasonably as text becomes misconstrued and the individuals here are either looking to pick a fight or have been screwed over by too many people in the BTC community.  If you would like to email me, feel free at labrat@labratmining.com and if you would like to request a call feel free to do so by the same means.

It appears that the only way to attempt to gain the trust of those who will not listen is to just show people how it's going to be.  Please note that the Bonus will be paid out to all people who have transferred to the New Contract on May 10th and any and all Bonus that has accumulated or will be earned in the future will not be held for any individual.  You will begin receiving the Bonus at that time (if you have already accepted) or the time of your acceptance (if later than May 10th) of the New Contract.

I will be providing a link to the Old Contract exactly as it has existed since the beginning of the company via email, the website, and these forums as well as a transcript of the AMA and a link to the New Contract as soon as they are all prepared.

#1 most ridiculous thing you have said to date... you can't gain trust by stating we will see why we should trust you AFTER we agree to the new contract.

You want our trust... publish weekly breakdown of LRMs status like you used to... and pay ALL CONTRACTS on May 3 with the claimed bonus WITHOUT us having to agree to the new contracts. Afterwards, if you still require us to agree to the new contract to get the continued bonus at your discretion... fine... but LRM needs to demonstrate WHY we should trust you PRIOR to being forced into the new contract... PERIOD.

1. Breakdown of LRM dividend and status EVERY WEEK starting May 3
2. Bonus is paid to all contract holders on May 3 regardless of agreement to new terms

Since you have posted you prefer email from now on... i will also send this to you directly.

I am still amazed that anyone would invest into BFL that much  Roll Eyes

It astounds me that LRMs lawyer thinks this is legal...

Zach priced BONDS of the original contract in BTC and NEVER based that on a USD price. Dividends were always paid in BTC and NEVER tied to a USD price in any documented form. Just because mining equipment is priced in USD, and BTC price rising means the BTC price per unit scales down, does not mean we are entitled to any less equipment than what could be purchased with the total amount of BTC Zach held from bond purchases AND the mining periods he forced on us.

There is no way Zach paid for the Bitfury gear before the price boom in November... and EVERY last piece of equipment he can purchase with LRM funds to date belongs to us, no matter how he tries to spin it.

Look at it this way... where else could funds have come from that LRM has used or holds? No where... it is all from bonds sold, mining income and the increased value of BTC to date. By the time he had to pay for Bitfury gear... he could have paid at a 6-12 times increased BTC value from when he took in all the BTC... and even today would have paid with BTC at 5-6 times the value as when he sold us bonds.

There is no reason to cap our bonds... all incoming hashrate belongs to the bond holders... and any attempt to sell future bonds is a breach of contract because LRM will be taking in funds for equipment we already paid for and should be paying out to us.

LR, your solution is terrible and ILLEGAL, your lawyer is a fraud, and you are about to be sued... even if it is our funds you use to pay for the lawyer... LRM is finished unless you act now to end this farce.

JUST BECAUSE BTC VALUE ROSE DOES NOT MEAN YOU GET TO KEEP IT UNDER THE TERMS YOU INITIALLY SOLD US BONDS UNDER! YOU OWE US THAT EQUIPMENT TO MINE AND PAY US !
