381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin important on: March 17, 2018, 01:37:51 PM
In my opinion it's important because it allows money to become like air or the Ocean. Something that just naturally exists in our lives (without being owned by anyone) and allows us to value things in our world and store wealth.

I think in the future the value will not be determined by any government but by the world economy as a whole.

Bitcoin so far for me is very important, imagine I don't have any job/work for 2 years only trading in bitcoin and joining in signature campaign here, then once the project ended up I can maximize my budget to sustain all the cost I have for my daily lives, from commodities, and etc.
382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy when market is Red on: March 17, 2018, 10:50:04 AM
Buy when market is Red, a trick to successful trading. Also dont put buy orders ahead of time.

I agreed to that advise, particularly now that most of the altcoin are in red value in terms of their prices. Then I suggest not to sell it at once even you get 20% profit make it more higher before you sell it.

389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 12 Bitcoin. What should I do??? on: December 28, 2017, 03:04:02 PM
Quote
Edit: I have now invested 100% into Skycoin

I have 12 Bitcoins. I am not a whale. I started about 6 months ago with 0.01 Bitcoins and $1000. I turned it into 12 Bitcoins so far and am pretty proud to say the least.

My question is, what do I do now?

As far as I can see, I have 4 options;

1) Hold the Bitcoin

2) Invest in altcoins and leave a little in Bitcoin

3) Fund a project and start my own cryptocurrency that solves a problem that current currencies face (scalability, Tx fees etc.). With the funds, I would be able to assemble a team, start a marketing campaign, get listed on exchanges etc. I am also a programmer which helps.

4) Convert it to fiat (probably the dumbest idea)

Edit: I should also add, I dropped out of school and have all the time in the world so can fully commit to any idea. I will earn my living of cryptocurrencies.

A few people have asked how I made my money so, if you are interested, here is a short summary:

Initially, I put it all into Bitcoin during the massive FUD of the fork around June when Bitcoin dipped to $1,900. Then I put half my money into NEO before all of the hype at around $12 and cashed out at $40. Then I invested in a couple ICO's and turned a pretty good profit of off the hype. After that, I got back in on NEO as soon as China announced the regulations regarding ICO's and rode the wave back from around $20 to $40 (I can't quite remember). Then, I rode the hype of Ethereum Dark, eBitcoin and a few other airdrop scams. Finally, I got in on Wincoin before it got to coinmarketcap and turned a 20x profit.

I definitely agreed to your answer in 1 and 2, hold the 50% of your capital investment the rest invest it in the ico project campaign. Because  there is a big chance that you can multiply your investment  capital into x3 or more.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1 ETH - should buy alt or hold on to it on: December 28, 2017, 02:47:09 PM

I have seen so many alt coins that were cheaper and I was holding on to ETH thinking  it will pave out. I wish i bought altcoins with it as that would got me some profits.

For e.g

I was watching VERGE xvg recently when it was less than 1 cent. today it is 25 cents. I wish that I had invested in it when My gut  instincts was for it.

Did not want to loose the only ether as i lost my Previous eth in Confido scam. Please advise.

My suggestion to you was never put all your capital savings in any altcoins or ethereum even for bitcoin itself. At least you have still reserve  money in your pocket and I think it is a wise decision to make mate.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet options on: December 27, 2017, 10:53:07 PM
Putting together my portfolio plan for 2018, and need to pick valuable wallet options.
For BTC and ETH I use paper wallets right now, and planin to expand to more coins, such as Waves, Strats, SONM, REQ, OMG and Monero. I would be thankful if you could consult me what would be best options for me in holding all these mentioned coins.
I thought about hardware wallet but I would maybe get it if I can hold all of my portfolio in it, as not all of these coins are supported by HW like Ledger. As now, I like paper wallets, but besides BTC and ETH, I dont know can I make them for these other coins.
What are your suggestions, help a brotha out, ty

I think Trezor and Nano ledger are most useful things in storing altcoin. And so far it is safe according to all user of this wallet. Though I'm not using it so far but planning to buy it at the amazon.com

393  Local / Pilipinas / Re: its time to buy bitcoin again today!!!! on: December 27, 2017, 10:11:53 PM
Sa mga nagbabalak mag invest ng bitcoin, ngayon na ang pagkakataon nyong bumili ulit. Its a massive dump ngayon galing $17k fall down to$11k. Baka bumaba pa ito down to $10k.

394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose the right ICO? on: December 27, 2017, 09:13:17 PM
Crypto market is emerging and by making the right choice, we can make real good $$$'s. What are the key for a ICO to be successful?

Add additional options if I miss in the voting options

Of course, the developer of the coins must be active and follows by their team also. If this happen in every ico project, surely there is a big chances that ico will in the near future will become successful in the end
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves vs. Bitcoin on: December 27, 2017, 08:59:39 PM
Waves NG - has been released today making Waves the fastest blockchain in cryptocurrency.  1000+ transactions per second compared to 3 for bitcoin.  I'm tired of waiting for 3 days for my bitcoin transaction to go through, and paying $30 USD.  Bitcoin was the first and is well known with the media coverage it receives.  Usually the first coin people buy.  It's time for a new coin to take over, some day.  I think Waves is the best!

I respect your your opinion by this things. But Bitcoin still prevails though Waves is one of the good altcoin to invest in, and unfortunately, waves has no match with bitcoin anyway. Look at their price value, obviously there's a big gap difference isn't?
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 📌 [BOUNTY] 💰 COINVEST 📈 DECENTRALIZED STOCK MARKET FOR CRYPTOCURRENCIES 📊 on: December 21, 2017, 10:01:16 AM

397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Bounty]Tigereum.io - Bounty Program - Token Swap 8th DEC 2017 on: December 21, 2017, 09:28:05 AM
I believe this bounty is over guys. We hope that we get some good news from the Tigereum team soon. They should open the telegram channel for us to track the latest updates. No doubt It was a very successful project indeed.

Why all of a sudden this tigereum project ended up so early? It runs only for a couple of 2 weeks I think, does within that short period of time they meet or hit the softcap target of the sales?
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Silver - Make Bitcoin Decentralized Again on: December 21, 2017, 05:39:08 AM
Bitcoin Silver is no difference to other's which in the end it won't succeed anyway. It may have a value but not enough to surpass the price value of bitcoin it has right now.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ⛏ StartMining ICO has already started!⛏ on: December 21, 2017, 05:19:20 AM
Its very hard for now to trust easily in any form of cloudmining site, even there is an instruction ifyou want to try there services in terms opf mining. Besides, according to others view here in the forum member cloud mining site is not profitable anyway to apply or implement it.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Do you know new ICO campaigns? on: December 21, 2017, 04:41:37 AM
Do you know good projects launching ICO soon? What projects would you invest in? What is your selection criteria?
