Security is the one thing I am worried about, the rest can be handled well. The organizations, the events, the products that is needed, everything will be there and will be fine and I do not think any problems will arise at all in any of the nations.
The one and only thing I am not certain about is security, because there will be a lot of people riled up at the games and they will need a lot of extra security for it, Mexico is already known as a dangerous nation, true or not there is a rumor about it at least, and Canada doesn't have any which means they also do not have enough law enforcement to spare for hundreds of thousands of new people as well, and USA already has troubles as we know. It is going to be tough without a doubt.
@FanEagle I highly doubt that anything can go wrong with the security at the World Cup as all 3 countries will be deploying huge man power to ensure everything goes well and I also believe that many mock-up scenarios are also run hence the World Cup should go smoothly. Furthermore the fan’s too should act responsibly and follow all the instructions given to them because if they ignore the safety guidelines then they could end up in trouble and then one can’t blame the host country for it. |

Manchester United have done their best it's just that Arsenal got lucky when we thought the game would end in a draw but who would have thought those 2 goals were scored in the last minute, if this match was repeated maybe we could see a different result but it is impossible. Milan has become the strongest candidate to win scudetto. Intermilan is also following behind it and then napoli. Some transfers being made by acmilan already showed its result. Acmilan might win against roma with a cleansheet if tomori would not get a red card.

Isn't this at least 7-8 games too early to say that AC Milan is already the biggest favorite to win the Scudetto? Sure I am ok if they won like 7 games or more in a row, but when Napoli started well last season, there weren't many people saying that Napoli will definitely be the biggest favorite for the Scudetto. It is still early days and one thing that could be misleading here is the strength of the Roma squad. Losing against AC Milan and also not winning the other games rather speaks volumes in terms of Roma's quality. They could get into deep trouble if nothing changes quickly. Even last season they played very well until the first 10 matches. But it is not wrong to also make Milan as one of the candidates now with its performance which is still fairly good, it's just that back again for Serie A sometimes the increase in performance and the decline in performance of a club cannot be predicted if you look at Serie A in the last few seasons. We certainly know how the increase in the performance of several clubs last season such as Lazio, Milan and Inter and even Juventus was so fast and the decline was just as fast. So this season is also still possible like that where early performance is sometimes interrupted by consistency which makes their end not too good. Yes they belong to those few teams who are able ton realistically win the Scudetto, I have no doubt about that and I also understand why someone would draw conclusions already and say that they are a candidate to win the title because the system works remarkably for AC Milan. AC Milan couldn't compensate for Leao and they were a totally different, much weaker team and got eliminated from the Champions League. I just discussion this in champions league thread that Bayern Munich has become a new challenger for a top flight club that has experienced winning the champions league cup in previous season and this is all thank to Harry kane who is very favorite at the moment with a performance that can really keep up with other players to strengthened the attack and midfield.
But there is a bit of my hesitation in defense of Bayern munich, I think it should be paid a little attention because it is still a little inconsistent in defense which must be strengthen little to be able to compete in champions league and for the bundesliga I think Bayern munich will still be club that has a title to defend top of standings. The addition of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich roster suggests that the Bundesliga environment will soon undergo a substantial change. Kane strength as a striker and the other quality choices on Bayern squad point to a successful season. Although it is too soon to make firm predictions, Bayern Munich seems poised for another championship run. Since I started watching Barcelona team playing from season to season have never seen them starting at a very slow pace after winning the league. This season is some how with Barça, like they're not having that force of winning without problem but they have to struggle, the first game they played was horrible, played a goalless draw and it seems like they all went to defend with the red card, later won 2nil then last week was a battle for 3 point 3-4, thought they were going to lose that game, this isn't what I expected in their first 3 games of the season.
All I see in this Barça team is they're losing that force in making teams lose their strength even the smaller teams are trying to beat Barça, I can't say Xavi is still building the team because if it they still have that idea in their head then the champions league would be hard for them to qualify from the group stage.

The players seem really tired and tried, exhausted. To be frank these kind of money spent to purchase the broadcast rights are ridiculous and the BCCI is fortunate enough as there are players who wanted to establish their platform and hence willing to shell out huge amount and now Viacom18 who is a subsidiary of Jio Cinema who broadcasted 2022 FIFA World Cup for free upgraded their service this year and started their premium services, personally their direct competition usually provide much better services and hopefully they will improve their service.
JioTV was the first to provide 4K live streaming in India, if I am not wrong. The quality is much better than what Disney-Hotstar is offering, and almost equal to the stream from Sony LIV. So I don't have any problem with Viacom18 winning the bid. As long as it is not Hotstar, I don't really care. They are the worst. Always bombard the viewers with ads, and then provides low quality streams with a lot of interruptions. Still, there are fears about JioTV gaining a monopoly. But that is not the case, as Hotstar recently won the rights for ICC tournaments. @Sithara007 Hotstar definitely has some streaming problem and it lags a lot even when you’re on their paid plan with no ads so let’s hope this time we’ll get better streaming. Lastly coming back to the Asia Cup Bangladesh disappointed me with their performances yesterday because I felt that they could have definitely scored more and then put in better efforts to defend their low target but in the end they just let Srilanka win the match comfortably. |

This is a real group of death and here from the first round there will be a battle not for life but for death. The rest of the groups look like jokes compared to this one. 45 million for Cole Palmer is just basically "we have so much money that we wouldn't even discuss anything under 20 and would rather keep the player and lose him after his contract is over" level. Cole Palmer doesn't worth 45 million, nowhere near that level, the inflation in football is seriously getting insane. We are going to start talking about just 50 million and up soon, nothing lower than that. This is hurting all the other nations who can't spend this much, it just doesn't make sense. I feel like he would worth somewhere around 20-25 million range, I would sort of understand 30 million but I can't really understand the situation being 45 million, maybe more than 50 with bonuses, that's WAAAAY too much.
Palmer is a talented guy, but he's only 21 years old. He's only played three games in the EPL for the main squad (and he's made 16 other substitute appearances). Palmer hasn't even played 500 minutes in the EPL. Why Chelsea bought Palmer for €45 million is a mystery to me. Tottenham bought Maddison and Liverpool bought Mac Allister for the same money this summer. Woah, up until I have read your post here I didn't look into the details and whether Palmer is really worth the money, but this is quite surprising. We have seen similar super deals when very young talents were extremely expensive, but usually they had some sort of achievements to present. It reminds me of Renato Sanchez who cost €35m when he was bought by Bayern Munich when he was 19 years old. But the reason back then was that he played a strong European championship, which then kind of makes sense because several clubs had their eyes on him. But €45 million seems like a lot to me given that he played less than 500 minutes in the Premier League. This is at best another coin toss by Chelsea, but who cares when they have the money and everyone is happy. For real, it is going to be a tough battle in the scudetto this season with all the teams intent on winning. Napoli can still successfully defend their title, they were able to keep some key players in their team that were important and contributed to their win last season in the team, they did not loose players like Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to other big teams in this transfer season. They already have a good start to the season. Other clubs like AC Milan still have a very good start and should not be overlooked as possible candidates to win the league too. Of course Verstappen get the parts before Perez,they upgrade Max car first and that is why in certain races we can see a huge difference in drivers with the same car.Did it not happen with Norris and Piastri at McLaren where Norris got the parts first and was racing at a much better pace than Piastri by getting a podium.This though does in no way removes the fact that Perez for me is the most mediocre driver I have ever seen so far in F1,he still has a Redbull and in the times of Vettel and Vebber and in early times of Verstappen together with Ricciardo we have seen quite some crashes between the team mates,something clearly not happening with Perez forcing my view on him as a real mediocre driver.
@swogerino I wasn’t aware of this because till date I thought that both drivers would get upgraded cars at the same time and now it makes sense why Verstappen can drive faster then his teammate. Also Perez isn’t a bad driver as he’s claimed more points then Hamilton and Leclerc too and who knows if he ever shifts maybe he’ll be able to dominate and even end up occupying the top spot for himself. |

It's unbelievable how some players can change a whole team, before messi and some other players arrived at Inter Miami, this team had bad results, but with the arrival of messi, busquete and more players they changed a lot and the team is performing well , just see that in the last 10 games that Inter Miami played, they didn't have any defeat, nor does it seem that before these last 10 games they didn't win 8 games, it's an unbelievable change, I believe that next season they will be in a best position, talking about yesterday's game, without busquete and messi starting the game
The arrival of Messi means a lot for Inter Miami and changed their club dramatically. They won their first ever title in their club history after having Messi. In modern football, with more importance of tactics, team working and requirement of proactive defense from all players, it is very hard for a single player can actually change a whole team by improving team performance and result. It requires superb talent, great experience and of course can not lack of luckiness. Messi contributions and impact on Inter Miami are oustanding and hardly to be repeated by any single player in future. I don't under value the contributions from Busquete and Jordi Alba but Messi has more important role in latest success of Inter Miami. @Slow death I’m not at all surprised to see Messi perform so well and lift the team because he’s the main focus of this team and this league is easier then Ligue 1 too. @SquirrelJulietGarden while those two are great player’s but Messi is a global superstar hence I always knew from the moment he arrived that he’ll totally transform the team and secondly when he’s playing very happily it’s very difficult to stop him. |
