Hey everyone, wake up. If 100,000 Doge were selling for .05 BTC yesterday and the price of BTC drops by 25%, the price of DOGE/BTC goes up. DOGE value hasn't changed, only BTC. So now DOGE is worth .0625.
Ya'll want DOGE to be something of value yet you tie it to an imaginary number of BTC that DOGE originally sold at. If anyone wants my DOGE for BTC is sure isn't going to be for .05 BTC/100,000.
People have been managing to sell at that price for a while, but everyone is panic selling right now. Only intelligent thing is to ride this out. The loses are too high otherwise. Really for DOGE there is no riding it out since it is such a new coin. I'll sit on my meillions till it reaches USD $0.01+ and then start being concerned about future and final value. Been around the stock market for many years and this is just a pimple on a fly's ass. The BTC thing is because there are now derivatives on it and Wall St. is laying bets on it going up or down. It was started about 1 1/ 2 weeks ago. |

In your wallet? You need a dogecoin.conf file in appdata/roaming/dogecoin folder if your in windows. rpcuser=doge rpcpassword=wow addnode=67.205.20.10 addnode=162.243.113.110 rpcport=22555 server=1 daemon=1 Do that then restart wallet. |

same question, someone care to explain??? easy, somebody is placing a sell for 0.500000xx BTC per DOGEcoin, then placing a buy at that same price and buying 0.00000001 DOGE at that rate. CoinedUp then shows that as the last transaction, and if coinmarketcap picks up the values at that time it's then bumped to the moon in the list. The main issue here is that CoinedUp doesn't automatically do the lower value transactions, so if you place a buy for 0.5 BTC it will ignore all the values below that and buy at the rate you indicated it to. So instead of buying your 0.00000001 DOGE at 33 Satoshis you do it at 0.5 BTC Mistery solved, feel free to drop your tips on any of the addresses in my signature. Market manipulation at its best. Gotta love it  |

I just created the account (mc1225) and setting up the miner, you site kicked me out and saying no new registration. Interesting ...
New registrations are locked because pool hashrate was getting over 51% which is not supposed to be good. Just change your port to 4094 if you already have a existing account there, else try any else stable pool  Then if hash is nearing 51% don't send people there. There's plenty of other pools out there that pay about what netpool does. I'm mining p2pool for over a day because the payout IS higher than regular pools. You don't want DOGE to die, but yet your posts will break it. WTF? |

For scrypt? Don't think so. It can only be mined using GPU's. Of course for scrypt. Just buy a few R9 280x.. they are cheap. Or do you think 2-3k $ is expensive for a rig? Poor dog ... much hate... no love When you can wait and get a scrypt specific asic that will hash 100 MHS for that money? Yep too expensive. And yes they are in development stage and are due the beginning of 2014. BTW, R9 280X is basically a 7970 repackaged with some tweaks per AMD. |

Use P2pool. At least 5 nodes posted. 500% uptime ;] Find rav3n's bat config for the miners, if one goes down, it switches to the next. |
