Amd cards  epoch issues will damage its share price,  nvidia cards might be more expensive but their more future proof and better at zec when everyone drops eth.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: July 27, 2017, 11:34:29 PM
Everyone is saying the Difficulty will rise to the point where it becomes unprofitable, yet the the resell value on these will only go up with time so buying and reselling these might be a better idea than just mining with them.
I am new to this mining thing but the same things were said about the S9 and L3+ BUT their respective coins rose enough to keep up with the difficulty so if history is an indicator DASH will be rising as well. So i would still get on the third batch heck even the fourth batch might still be relevant.
I don't know much but all these haters keep on hating and they are proven wrong everytime Cool

S9s and L3+ s difficulty rose with their coins rising because their coinz were already  cheap and they had more popularity and Innovations. Dash will rise with its new innovation s and popularity too but dont expect it be comparable to ltc and btc. Bit tumbler is no more so there will more volume going into privācy focused coinz like dash, but alpha bay and  its  and clones are no more so unless theres demand on other dark sites to replace the need for a  bit tumbler then that volume may not appear to push the price up. This would explain xmr s recent rally.

No, never heard.

How hear could be used for e.g. laundry?
We are speaking for mega mining datacenters which as you can imaigen is located in big seperate building specially built for servers and necessary equipment.

Do you know what is electricity price there?

Iceland - cheap or free geothermal power generation and cold climate for free cooling

No, do you? Not much from what ive heard. The heat could used for home heating and laundry too.

For drying clothes , sorry I thought this was a home setup

Anyone thinking about buying from 3rd batch should just give up , by the time they come online it wont be worth it unless they reduce the d3 price , I think its good the a5 is so expensive,  means less are sold and the ones that are wont sell their mined coins for peanuts. We cant rule out another x11 monster from baikal or pinidea until then too and the ibelink s will have their upgrade kits by then too..
LMAO!!!! Yeah....just forget it......HAHAHAHA!! Nice try.

Heh, I love these people - they're at every launch of every ASIC warning of the same thing. They'll be saying the same thing about batches 10, 11, 12 next year. Get in or get left behind.

If you think the current x11 coins can handle that hashrate come november then invest away in  later batches all you want. I hope your right and im wrong. This isnt like any asic launch, this is madness.

is anyone worried why it said 13500 next the d3? have they downgraded the speed? It should have sold out sooner, i think people are wise now, the last batch sold when people didnt know about the a5, i think the a5 put a few people off from buying..
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: July 25, 2017, 11:00:42 AM
little bit worried why they are still for sale, they should have sold out by now..

I bought it yesterday for 6700 USD. The worst ASIC company. I'll never buy their product. Fck u.

Thats a new low , what a disgrace

393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Goodbye Pinidea and Baikal on: July 23, 2017, 05:34:20 AM
As I can see bitmain and miner d3 is limited only for x11 algo, and baikal is multi algo asic.
Because of that i dont belive baikal is game over Smiley
Baikal is now wery wellcome especialy to mine deeponilon x13 coin...

Your right, baikal will still have a monopoly in x13 quark etc, but there needs to be some decent coins for those algos  to mine.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A5 DashMaster 30.2G 750W on: July 23, 2017, 05:27:16 AM
Lets not everyone forget about the ibelinks affect on hashrate before the b3 and a5. Today network reached 15th and id say this is the start of their affect as they r tested or premined b4 delivery.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A5 DashMaster 30.2G 750W on: July 22, 2017, 03:20:30 AM
Everyone considering buying this also please think about what your giving up, your giving up 12+ bitcoins at todays prices, in 3-4 months time btc will prob be over 3700$ after all this segwit stuff finalises,  and know whos with dash/ltc. Now imagine just holding your btc for that time period, thats 12000$ ( possibly absolute minimum ) your losing by investing in a pre order, and who makes that profit instead? Innosilicon does for a concept design they prob only threw together after they saw what bitmain was offering. No prototype, just a promising chip.

Anyone who paid 9k for a ibelink in april could have made 18k by holding their btc instead, or 27k if they held their dash. To make matters worse pinidea or baikal could bring their monster a few weeks from now or b4 u receive the a5. Bitmain could just make another d3, lets call it a d3+ , they could bring that out weeks b4 or after u receive the a5 too. Just a thought.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A5 DashMaster 30.2G 750W on: July 22, 2017, 02:20:39 AM
guys i dont think this is worth it, even if you could get just 1 at 11k+ (at their btc rates) its still 3-4k too much, its always worth paying a little bit more for efficiency and a guaranteed order, but not that much, we still dont even know how the ibelinks will affect difficulty yet and i think thats why these companys are pushing their products hard before that happens.. Shipping delays are likely with this company and a few weeks after the d3s are released will change everything in initial profits. We also dont know how many other monster x11 miners are going to be released.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Group Buy - Innosillicon A5 Dashminer on: July 21, 2017, 11:35:08 PM
3.74k over my exchange rate, these cheap chinese exchange rates are so unfair what a joke that  means one costs like 11.25k
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: July 21, 2017, 02:19:01 PM
What was original batch shipping date?

sep 15-25 i think
Have they posted any information on batch 2? I have found nothing on it personally other than "coming soon" no reply to my email to them

No, it gives the impression that it will be in days or weeks, but could be monthly , as long as they have let people know their making em, they will corner the market for however long it takes. Dont expect to get it at same  price either. Sad

So what is your view on price? Up? Down? Same?

me ..its Bitmain...I've no clue myself

Id prob compare it to the way they sold the l3+, not by the price, but by the way the price fluctuated between ~1300-1700 , its a good strategy cause anyone who missed out on first batch at ~2700 will be fuming and desperate cause they've been made to wait so they'll pay more for second batch, noone expected first batch so they were cheap to build up confidence and awareness, problem is that btc is going up, dash will most likely go up too, so they will offer new batches in these market trends , dash could be 250 by the time they release 2nd batch, therefore they can charge more cause it will make more money, they prob have taken into account the future difficulty and wait time from the first batches price, which is admirable, second batch could even ship during same period as first , but with a premium in price. I think they are waiting to see what the difficulty will be once ibelinks are all online, and that will be what they base their price on. Truth is its very difficult to know what they'll do, cause theres way too many factors. I dont think they'll charge more then 3300 but.
Difficulty generally moves inverse to price. If DAH goes "up" you do not necessarily make more money. Yes more on what you mine, but you will mine considerably less at 10 million difficulty.

I know that but what i ment by  "it would make more money" is if the second batch orders begin after dash reaches 250 not at 190 like today and  that the second batch will prob sell before the first batch is delivered so difficulty wont be realistic at that given moment however some of the uninformed noobs doing their profit calculations will be some of the ones buying the miner in that second batch at the higher price on the miner and when dash is 250 expecting a bigger profit on their calculator because dash is 250.  The lower the difficulty the higher they can sell ths dr3. Look at the swings in prices of the s9s last year and l3+ this year,  Waiting 3 months from now  is only way to see how this all turns out.

Resellers already doing pre orders too guess there the ones that got most of these at no maximum units per order.
