381  Other / Meta / Re: No activity update's? on: June 04, 2017, 02:09:13 PM
Same thing happened to me then I figured out that it will continue to add the activity after 2 weeks, 14 activities will be added and that is if you also posted 1 topic everyday. Try to observe it after 2 weeks, count since when it stop adding the activity then check after 2 weeks around Wednesday and see if it added.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good Altcoins to buy? on: June 04, 2017, 01:07:42 PM
I think the best altcoins to buy now are DGB, SC and probably XEM if you intend to keep them long term.
383  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: From $25 to about $200. My most challenging Trade so far on: June 04, 2017, 12:18:30 PM
Good for you and hope you hit your target too. I have been doing the same thing with a much lower capital. Also I've been holding on to some coins for about 3 months now and it really surprised me the profits I gained. We actually have the same target price which is $500, hopefully I can reach that target to in the next few days.
384  Economy / Speculation / Re: What we are experiencing right now is the norm on: June 04, 2017, 11:02:47 AM
bitcoin price changes mostly because of events, for example we had halving last year as the biggest thing and this year the Japan news which keeps coming out.
the fact that similar events happened at similar times doesn't mean they will continue to do so.
for example we have the scaling debate still going on and it may come to a conclusion finally and with this UASF thing, price can go wild for a while. and that is going to be new.

Correct, so the best thing to do now is just keep your bitcoin and hold it. Norm or not, the price or value of bitcoin is still unstable. It might be steady as of now but we'll never know it'll dump the next few days depending on the news or speculation of investors considering bitcoin as their investment.
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: June 04, 2017, 10:01:44 AM
Yeah hatred could be due to lack of knowledge and being close minded. If they were people who are close to me, I'm sure they would listen to what I would try to say or explain to them, I will just make sure I will explain to them or educate them in the most simplest possible terms so they won't get confused too.
386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: SURVEY on the popularity of these ways to gamble. on: June 03, 2017, 02:08:19 PM
Dice was one of my favorite gambling game because it's easy and that's where I profited most when I was into gambling before. Next would probably be roulette but I just played that game for a few times unlike dice which was my main game before.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Am I the only one who thinks markets are behaving strange right now? on: June 03, 2017, 07:28:06 AM
So tons of altcoins have been pumped recently, then a drop came and now we are somewhere in the middle not knowing what's coming next.. do whales still need to cash out and they're just prolonging this? Doesn't look too good to me honestly. I suspect a bigger drop might follow somewhere in the near future... but who knows, everything is possible in this strange crypto world!

Nope you're not the only one who thinks the markets for altcoins are behaving strange recently especially when bitcoin suddenly pumped. The cryptoworld is still strange because you can never fortell anything of what comes next, it may have pumped now but we'll never know it'll suddenly dump hard. That is also the reason why we traders should not stop learning and educate more especially on reading charts too.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So what is STRAT exactly? on: June 03, 2017, 06:47:36 AM
They say STRAT is a platform and not a coin but personally I think it is still considered as a coin/token. Probably it pumped too because it was just nominated recently in the https://theeuropas.com/awards/.
389  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Poloniex isn't the best place to trade alts on: June 03, 2017, 06:26:22 AM
Poloniex works for some but as I have observed so far from trading on that site, if you withdraw your coins and transfer it to another for example wallet usually it takes time for it to reflect or transfer. But if you use convert it to bitcoins and transfer it to a bitcoin wallet, it doesn't really have much issues on that part. That's just my observation though.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: June 03, 2017, 05:50:51 AM
This topic is perfect because a relative just asked me about Bitcoin, he got interested when he saw the charts and asked about it. Since he was into forex trading, it wasn't that hard to explain to him about bitcoin too.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DCORP Crowdsale - Democratizing Venture Capitalism on: June 03, 2017, 05:16:45 AM
Indeed, this project seems to be growing rapidly because it is built with solid team foundation which of course has a dedication and high loyalty, so as to create business opportunities that have good potential in future
It is also because there project is really good for many investors . The rapidly continuing up of the progress of this project is really unbelievable, I really got shocked when I read the information about the profit of the DCORP in just one day.

Yes. It's quite amazing indeed. But I'm expecting it to more though, to be honest. But 500K is not bad at all. I think it will increase in the coming days and get to millions of dollars. We all need to be patience and see it grow in the days to come.
Yeah you're correct. All we need is patience. I know in near future that this project will become successful. This is only the beginning of the wonderful I expecting that this project will become more popular.
Very true, there are many things that could happen so we need patience and accompany this project inorder to success. We ought to spread the good news about the project in this forum so we could captive more investors. Hoping for the successful of this project.
We need to observe the progress of this project. I know we will expecting again a very high and hope for the succession of this project. I hope by supporting the DCORP it will be a good way to achieve their goals.

I agree too, by supporting this campaign it also helps out the growth and development of this project. I always check the progress too of the campaign and the devs if they are active, that only means to show that this company is working hard on achieving their goals and that's what I'm impressed about DCORP.
392  Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN HALVING? on: May 31, 2017, 01:08:27 PM
Do someone here know about bitcoin halving?
Is there a problem when bitcoin halving hits?
Is it better to buy bitcoin when bitcoin halving come?

I think by now you already know what bitcoin halving is and I don't think there was a problem when it occurred last 2016. It is also a speculation it'll happen in 2020 because the first one occurred on 2012 then the next happened in 2016, so rumors has it it'll happen 4 years after because of the year difference. And if eve that'll happen by then, it might be a good time to buy bitcoins too.
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any way to have cheap transactions now? on: May 31, 2017, 11:35:40 AM
I think there is no way to cheap transaction.  Remember if you are transferring bitcoin, and wanted to change it for altcoin you have to go to an exchange and switch it to altcoin and vice versa.  This will only double your fee.  If your bitcoin is sitting at your desktop wallet, there is no way to have cheap transaction but to adjust the transaction fee at your own convinience since it will affect the confirmation time.

I agree, almost all wallets now have transaction fees and that's just the way it is. And most especially when bitcoins price went up a couple of days ago, those wallets you had before which had no fee are charging transactions fees now. As they say, business is business.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10th of June Digibyte in Minecraft? Will it blow? on: May 31, 2017, 09:42:52 AM
Altcoin market full of speculation and sometimes good news can affect the price, DGB will up or not is still unpredictable and now market concentration in the ETH market, I hold my DGB and will sell in 1250 satoshi.

True that all altcoin market is full of speculations that's why when there are news about the altcoin such as DGB, I've noticed prices of those altcoins would pump up even up 90% because of those news an articles. I also am keeping an eye on this coin because there is a lot of potential in this coin.
395  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade at multiple exchanges? on: May 31, 2017, 09:04:42 AM
It's called arbitrage trading.  Here's why all the prices aren't the same:

-There's a "spread" on most exchanges, which is the difference between the buy and sell prices.

-Some exchanges have high fees (e.g. Coinbase)

-Some exchanges are dysfunctional (Bitfinex, BTC-E, Chinese exchanges), and some exchanges are also extremely shady/annoying when you move large amounts (BTC-E, Poloniex and more).

Overall doing arbitrage with several exchanges can get very hard.  There are some minor opportunities with the extreme price fluctuations that go on, but they're gone very fast.  I don't recommend you get involved unless you know what you're doing or you can trade with foreign exchanges (like South Korea).

Same here, I once tried arbitrage trading and it is not actually a good recommendation to trade at multiple exchanges but if you have lots of capital for the coins you are buying then it'll work for you. But there are some traders who transfer the coins they bought at this certain site to another site because they bought it low and the tendency is you'll receive the transfer so late because of the traffic blockchain. But there are also some traders that works for them though.
396  Other / Meta / Re: BAN ALL SIG CAMPAIGNS on: May 31, 2017, 08:39:52 AM
Some newbies come here for the signature campaigns and after some time, they are gaining some knoweledge and they start to post some really intresting post. They start to invest, to mine. I think it is a good thing for everyone, this forum was made from the beginng to give some advices to people, who are intrested in cryptocurrencies. Signature campaigns is a new way to atract people to Crypto world, soo why not? Wink

I agree and aside from learning from the post of senior members here they also learned that through signature campaigns they can earn something out of it. Signature campaigns are a way of marketing and advertising tokens or coins that we also take advantage of when we buy those coins. It's just that there are some posters here that are joining signature campaigns and doesn't really have "good quality" posts. Managers should be strict on that supposedly because it's their way of advertising their campaigns.
397  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: May 30, 2017, 09:02:54 AM
I actually agree on this, there are a lot of unemployed people who instead of just wasting their time doing nothing are into bitcoin and in fact earns more than those working real jobs. It does reduce unemployment especially joining some signature campaigns, it is like you are applying for a job and when you get hired you have to do the posting to get your salary by the end of the week or month for some.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reminder: Be Open and Helpful To New People To Bitcoin on: May 30, 2017, 08:29:00 AM
There a lot of people who helps out newbies and probably explain to them how and what bitcoin is if the person asking is eager to really learn about bitcoin. You can't just randomly ask them to invest on bitcoin without educating them first. And this is also the reason why this forum is created for newbies to search and discover themselves what it's all about.
399  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much to Trade? on: May 30, 2017, 07:55:13 AM
What I actually did is since I wanted to invest in trading is I converted my real money in btc then I put it all in trading, after I profited from trading. I withdrew all the capital I invested and just keep it in my wallet and just let the profit do the work.
