@dev: worth another Tweet

Something is wrong with the proof of stake, according to the amount of coins i have i should get XXX coins daily instead im seeing X coin a couple of times a day. My wallet has been online for a week now, if this is the case its just not worth it.
Try adding the additional nodes _dev has put out and restart you wallet. I regularly received a few hundred coins a day with a wallet balance of 500k Hey Elypse! I am having the same issue as cpozzer... I have around 500K coins, but only getting a hand full of coins after staking 24 hours (about 20 since this mornig). Any tips to solve this problem....? I followed DEV's instructions and created a txt file with nodes... does it take 24 hours to take effect?

Make sure to post updates like this on Twitter, too

Agreed. A solid whitepaper will give the coin (and you as a developer) a much greater credibility. You're doing great in this project. I have a lot of faith that this coin could explode in the future! Just make sure to be transparent about your activities.

All OK now! Turned out there wasn't anything wrong. Laptop couldn't get a stable connection with thw network, so the sync didn't work....
Can you sell me how to put coins in stake mode? Cheers!

That means no IMX=no staking?!!
Ok. The topic (IMX) is done for me. THX
Uh...yeah...if you don't have any coins, you can't stake, that's how every PoS coin works. It requires you to have a "stake" in the coin in order to get rewards But how does it work? lets say i have 50000 coins, what happens? They go up against the full weight of the network (the amount of coins held in wallet and are in stake mode), and a portion of them are used to solve blocks and then the cycle of staking your coins begins. So those 50,000 coins aren't a lot compared to the current network weight, so your probability of solving a blocks goes down, and respectively goes up as your balance increase. It essentially the same thing as PoW except without the backend calculations required by hashing power. That isn't to say you wont find blocks, because you will, as the "luck" of finding a block goes up base on the respective age of the coin. So with 50k coins how much can someone expect? 25% yr POS? 12500coins per year? Sorry but its not clear to me. Most of your questions can be answered by looking at the main page of the ANN. I'll copy and paste that here as well. POS 25% per year (forever) POS starts from block 2000 Min. stake age 24 hours Max. unlimited. Yup i read that, so with 50k you get 12500 coins per year. Thanks That would be correct. You would be fairly close to getting 12,500 coins per year. But of course there is a +/-% associated with that as well. Can you also lose you're coins with this as well or will you guaranteed to get them back at any time?

Hey guys. What would be the best way to store my IMX coins? I want to keep a significant amount for later to see what the coin does, but they're all on exchanges now. If I download the desktop wallet, but my PC crashes.... than what? Will my coins be lost?
Cheers!
There are two ways how to do it. First option You can back up your wallet.dat . Go to start, type %appdata%\impact and press the enter key. You will then be in a folder with the impact app-data. File wallet.dat holds all private keys to your addresses. (copy this file on same safe place) To restore your holdings. Install new wallet and paste wallet.dat into folder impact. (%appdata%\impact) Second optionOr you can save private keys from your wallet. For example for address: Xn7R6GyfCwojGarEAGvj6iimo5op7uQKzM In wallet go to console and write: dumpprivkey Xn7R6GyfCwojGarEAGvj6iimo5op7uQKzM Wallet will give you private key to address... output look like this: XBr9bozqj2wzwGAbYq98qQ89bekgZe2Vj1dkNoma46Wfhn8qnpC7 For import private key, use this command: importprivkey Xn7R6GyfCwojGarEAGvj6iimo5op7uQKzM And thatīs it. You now have access to address. You can import private keys into any IMX wallet to get access to coins on this address. Test: Address Xn7R6GyfCwojGarEAGvj6iimo5op7uQKzM contains 1000 IMX coins. The first one who will import private keys can take them. (send them to your address, before someone else will) Private key:XBr9bozqj2wzwGAbYq98qQ89bekgZe2Vj1dkNoma46Wfhn8qnpC7 Thanks! Will choose the best option for this! I think I can conclude that keeping everything on an exchange is not the right way to go at it...?

Are there any exchanges where we can vote to get the coin listed...?

Hey BoldNinja (and others)! I too have some coins on an exchange now, but I want to keep them safe for the long run as I am very interrested in how ARK is going to develop.... What would be the best way to keep my coins safe? I know I can get them off from the exchange and onto my desktop wallet, but what if my laptop craches/ get stolen? What do you guys suggest? Cheers and thanks for answering this n00b question save your passphrase, the blockchain is not stored on ark wallets, there is no syncing, fast and reliable, if you toss your laptop into a magnet factory or drop it in a volcano it wont matter as long as you wrote down or saved your passphrase you will have access to your coins anywhere Thanks for that!! Great to hear! Is this the same for all other coins? I bought a few to play around with and I'm having trouble securing them.... Thanks!!

Twitter is already up. I will focus more on social networks now. Follow us About exchanges. We are still waiting for Yobit. I do belive IMX will be in the next batch of added coins. I will contact ccex to get IMX on their voting page. And I already contacted Cryptopia. They said we will need 2 000 000 DOT coins to get IMX listed there. (Cryptopia official coin). It is around 0.8 BTC at current Dotīs price. We have budget around 0.35 BTC for listing on exchanges. It means we will set up buy orders on DOT market and we will have to wait for a little dump at lower price to gain enough DOT. Community can help us with donations or with asking on trollboxes. I got an error on Twitter saying the account has been suspended due to "suspicious activity".... That doesn't sound good :') Also; no Tweets yet...?

Hey Dev! Anything the comunity can do to speed up the process of this coin getting listed on other exchanges or to get the coin more well known? I noticed that there is no Twitter/ facebook account yet to get any news out.... might you consider doing that?
