3801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I could consider staking if .... on: November 17, 2020, 01:08:40 PM
Guys is there any way to stake coins in your very own wallet without sending to another wallet? Is there any project or blockchain that allows staking in door only? Please share because I can't sleep at night sending my coins to other wallet for staking returns
Mate what you are asking for isn't in existence for my opinion becasue those they have shared in the post above aren't trusted yet by good investor. Staking in particular doesn't look good for my like becasue the ROI sometimes with some companies doesn't make good returns IMO, Personally, i have been staking with Trust Wallet and have been hell with their staking really.
3802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you really think crypto stand a chance agaisnt the financial system on: November 17, 2020, 12:35:55 PM
They will in the future coexist in this world becasue the two are what we need for a better change we been clamored for in the past. The traditional system will be for those with interest while the digital(cryptocurrency) will be for those in need for change. In my honest candid opinion, the two financial system won't conflict each other in future, rather the two will coexist for the betterment of the financial world.
3803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin continues the positive trend today, is the altcoin market in trouble? on: November 17, 2020, 12:24:16 PM
So far there have been developments from some altcoins and ethereum has started to bangkin and we expect to be able to return to the peak like 2017 and this year is very convincing because the value of bitcoin is already above the cloud and we certainly have surprises from some altcoins that already have potential, hopefully this development will continue.
The truth be told, there are very few handful good altcoins project that are doing well right now becasue most of them are just shitholes. Except a very few they are just like the past in 2017. The best among these altcoins is the ethereum only, this coin has proven to us that, it is measuring some powers with Bitcoin, so, when Bitcoin price soar it price also appreciate averagely. But for these defi's, they are scam tokens mostly.
3804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Will you Invest in Ethereum ICO if it is just Starting ? on: November 17, 2020, 12:15:35 PM
how did we know Ethereum would become successful through it IPO?
It's simple they create their whitepaper and posted it many people see how good the Ethereum's whitepaper is and look their ANN thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=428589.0 well some of the ICO's we can see have a very poor whitepaper and most of their ideas are useless.
I have another thought about the whitepaper as a parameter to determine the prospects of a project.
what if a good copywriter is employed to craft a whitepaper for a bad project. it may mislead investors. I believe there should other ways to determine the authenticity of a project by investors.
Off-course mate, there are good perfect copywriters in the industry, more reasons why some good looking projects from their whitepapers look beautiful but in real world just another garbage. There's no way we can actually figure out these good copywriters from the system but investors should be more careful about the projects they choose to invest. Thousands of misleading projects around from inception, the only way out is to research properly about a project before put funds into it.
3805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 16, 2020, 03:11:31 PM
It is really a true and sad story. Gamblers usually lose more money than they win. It also depends on how much money you put on betting I think. Because people who bet with huge amount of money obviously tend to lose more money. So, it is more difficult to recover compared to people who bet with little money.
The facts still remains that gamblers' loss more than they win but there are reservations for this statement, particularly in my honest opinion. There are still much gamblers in the industry that still put in funds and made away with something bigger than what they actually put into the system. Am a gambler but can't resist loss, also, my ability to control my emotions and always stay at alert while gamble is my hope in gambling which has helped me most time to be successful.
3806  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Avoid Bittrex! on: November 16, 2020, 02:52:39 PM
If you're still much interested about the funds in your account then move into action and ensure that your KYC is be completed which will enable you move your funds out of the exchnage. I sometimes head an account with them and the reasons i left them was becasue of their KYC sincerely becasue i hate giving out my real life identities to strangers. Advise: the funds in question is much 0.5bitoin, so, it will be good to move them out with your KYC.
3807  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: I Created an App that Helps You Practice Trading - TradingGYM on: November 16, 2020, 02:42:51 PM
Don't this also look like a demo account find with most cryptocurrencies exchnage? the truth here is, this will be best for newborn traders around the industry, becasue they need more learning tools for them to accustom themselves with the system to avoid blunder errors. Although something new and attractive is on your website and would recommend newborn to equally use the platform to learn new stuff in this regard.
3808  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I study to learn how to trade? on: November 16, 2020, 02:33:29 PM
Can someone point me to where I should begin?
And one more question: What is the minimum amount of money needed to start?
There are no big deals around this trading, in a simple lay-man language; buy low and sell high, but sincerely the trading industry is far more just that simple lines. Beginning your learning skills or trading skills from YouTube channels or from trading view software which is available online for free. These softwares actually helped my humble self about trade and for now am good in trading like a semi-pro. No minimum amount for trading in my point of view becasue something from $10 to $100 is very much okay for me indeed.
3809  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Volatility determined by percentage of traders vs hodlers? on: November 16, 2020, 02:26:07 PM
Basically, the traders do cause the Bitcoin volatility more than the Holders in my honest opinion, becasue if everyone hold some of their holdings right now; mean that, there are going to be less volatility in the market. There are problems arising from those traders whom have huge Bitcoin for trades sometimes those with huge amount constitute major challenge in the market.
3810  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price to reach $17k? on: November 15, 2020, 01:28:41 PM
But we just had a correction from $16,500 to below $16k, so that $17k won't happen for now. And I believed if the rally continues, we might go as high as $18k but it didn't as another roadblock has hit at $16,500, another big mental barrier that we need to overcome. So we don't know how low can it go with this market correction, perhaps we will go back to $15,500 before another leg up.
yeah, seems that $16,5k will stay for some time, but we are again above $16k
it will be interesting to see what will happen until the new year, ATH seems to be out of reach, but could happen
Basically your analysis seem good to my hearing mate, $15.5k should be the bottom soon before the major bullish  set into the game again as the year get close-up, but the Bitcoin market these days can't be predicted as we have seen from the very few days of this month November, 2020. I have always said this, the market won't close bellow $15k this year, we should look for a great year into 2021 where another all time high are expected to set in through global adoption.
3811  Economy / Speculation / Re: Biden's winning effect on the crypto market. on: November 15, 2020, 01:19:37 PM
Biden's winning will help Bitcoin grow if he play back his skirts during the campaigns, He (Biden) actually made some promise that he's going to inject some good finances into the US economy which if executed the bullish Bitcoin will experience a massive surge, though these are politician which words shouldn't be trusted, but from his campaigns words, his presidency will enhance  Bitcoin price which is currently on a bullish note.
3812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How will crypto behave during a Biden presidency? on: November 15, 2020, 12:37:03 PM
In the leadership of Biden, bitcoin will be fine, not as many people worry about, just after Biden was elected bitcoin soared.  even though many seniors say, if Biden is chosen then it will have a bad impact on bitcoin, and it turns out that this is not true.
The future of how Bitcoin will react doesn't in a way clear to anyone, Bitcoin might move from what we used to know it for when Biden gets into the presidency but who knows? only time will tell. Possibly we might see some good and positive verbs from Biden if he's interested to injects into the US economy from their reserves, this will help move Bitcoin forward. Also, according to Cynthia she will bring forth Bitcoin into the senate for debate as a store of value which should be embrace.
3813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: November 15, 2020, 12:06:07 PM
just like you I have the same opinion, the best in my opinion is IEO because some exchangers cannot accept projects to hold IEOs easily and must pass fairly strict verification
with this verification can be ascertained the authenticity of the project developer
Base on your argument i succumb to your analysis, most of these projects with IEOs is that, they normally pass through some rigorous means before be accepted into their platforms, a good example of this is Binance Cryptocurrency exchnage among others in the industry. Some cryptocurrencies exchanges have series of level of verification for these projects respectively, and those without pass mark aren't getting into the level of acceptance, with this process i love the IEOS than others.
3814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lebanon to launch digital currency in face of economic and financial turmoil on: November 15, 2020, 11:51:11 AM
We should expect more of these news to come in 2021 becasue the world has started drifting from the fiats to digital currency. Those country are just metamorphosing from a shallow centralized fiats system to a digital shallow system which means, the oppressors are still at liberty to oppress the freedom of the citizens. Nobody want to be left behind(countries), they are just trying to seize this opportunity brought to us by Bitcoin but the good news is: they can't. Congratulations to Lebanon government for this move.
3815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yet another Defi platform got hacked again on: November 15, 2020, 11:42:55 AM
Looks like it's not just full of scams but also immune to attacks I really think investing to DeFi projects are really risky right? Would somebody tell me that it's still a good idea to invest to DeFi projects.
Investment into Defi projects are most risky as today, i won't encourage nor advise anyone to get into the defi world to make their investment without proper background check on the projects. There is nothing we should expect from these open source copy-cats everywhere claiming they're Defis while in the real sense they're shits. Any cryptocurrency project without strong security shouldn't be advise to make investment with, personally, i hate the DeFis as i hate the ICOs days.
3816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Upcoming BCH hard fork question on: November 14, 2020, 06:06:04 PM
I believe it's not something new that BCH will undergo a hard fork tomorrow which could possibly generate a new coin but there's something I don't understand about the new coin which will be generated and also airdropped in the ratio of 1:1.
I am holding 0.1BCH does that mean I will also get 0.1 of the newly generated coin or the airdrop is not for people that hold at least 1BCH?
Don't over emphasis this forthcoming fork mate becasue thousands of these generated coin(forked coins) where nothing to write home for becasue most ended up as scammed. The upcoming fork of BCH should be one among other fork that we hope to see successful but this isn't guarantee, but having a little stash of this Bitcoin Cash coin can make fortune in the future. Probably your holding of 0.1BCH will yield more profit after the airdrop from the fork.
3817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The last time we saw 16K on Bitcoin price on: November 14, 2020, 05:32:02 PM
Sincerely those altcoins are shitholes from their existence, that which ban-fools me is the Ripple coin. Sometimes 2018 i bought some quantities for my holding before the price dropped and am yet to regain my lost glory with ripple. The regret i had was not buy Chainlink coin becasue the coin wasn't made my choice, i followed the market blindly. Bitcoin is the sure investment for everyone mostly those with the aim of long-term.
3818  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Suggestions on earning crypto on: November 14, 2020, 05:19:03 PM
What are some legit ways to earn cryptocurrency? I see alot of airdrop scams so i'm not sure if there is a airdrop website that reviews the airdrops they list
Well, am not pretty sure if there are websites for cryptocurrency airdrops but i understand that, anyone can subscribe to their services with mails respectively. You can also visit exchanges for this information as many cryptocurrency exchanges do carryout airdrops to their traders. Sincerely speaking, airdrops are waste of time, even a waste of resources in my opinion becasue most of them don't get into the market soon, even some are dead airdrops in their making. Doing Bounty on the forum will pay some sense than chasing after the airdrops.
3819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: USA government power over Bitcoin on: November 14, 2020, 05:07:36 PM
The US actually have the powers to do an undo when it come to the world but virtually, i don't see them with such powers when Bitcoin is directly involve. They made some attempts several years ago bu couldn't stop the spread of Bitcoin, more reasons they can't control Bitcoin is that Bitcoin is decentralized in nature and not like the regular fiats which is subject to USdollars. US can cause FUD which will pose a major challenge to Bitcoin but can't destroy Bitcoin in-totality.
3820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Now the 20th Biggest Asset by Market Cap on: November 14, 2020, 04:59:06 PM
It was inevitable. We expect bitcoin to get into the top 10.
Comparing Bitcoin as asset to others in the world doesn't seem good to me becasue most of them aren't digital assets, so, why comparing these assets?. Days ago the Bitcoin market-cap was reading $300+B which was another leap for the community, hope to see more market-cap which will push Bitcoin to the top first before 2021.  Although, in term of transaction per se, other payment methods are more ahead of Bitcoin.
