Who's got bigger breasts here? The girl's are more curvy but in terms of surface I think Batman wins.
3802  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: October 12, 2012, 07:23:37 PM
Does this count?

Faster damn it!  Or you'll never get that PS3 they are selling for BTC!

Children, bringing you free labor since time began.

I can only observe advantages in this setup:
  • Environment friendly
  • The kids make exercise
  • The kids learn the true cost of things!

Cheesy

I'd also connect a fan, or some water cooling solution to bring down the kid's temperature!

I'd ask them about the fan first, they might not have enough energy to afford to power it.

3806  Other / Off-topic / Re: What does your username mean? on: October 06, 2012, 04:16:08 PM
Just a random 'badass' sounding username, chosen only because this is not an anonymous forum, I haven't used it anywhere else, I do not really reuse my nicknames and passwords unless it's something really unimportant (throw-away emails or accounts to access some forum content).
3807  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are some lessons that you've learned the hard way? on: October 05, 2012, 10:26:25 PM

Always get it in writing. Whatever it is. This includes receipts.

+1 good one

Here's one of my first, when I was 6.5 years old:

If someone else doesn't obey the rules of traffic and common sense, doesn't mean you shouldn't.
3808  Other / Meta / Re: Rand-om musings. on: October 05, 2012, 05:11:17 PM
You spend 1/4 of your life on a forum, Atlas, that's over 3x as much as Theymos who is an admin here, don't you feel like doing something actually frugal or productive sometimes? Like earning money or studying?
3809  Other / Meta / Re: 'Good post' - feature on: October 05, 2012, 02:48:09 PM
That'd be OK, though it's not a high priority.

One of the optional features in the specification for new forum software is a "thanks" button which could be used like that.

There were quite a few offers to write new forum software, I may know someone myself who could do what is required but I'm not sure on what stage we are here? Did you turn down all of the previous offers (if so, why? I don't believe no one was competent enough...) or has someone already started working on it?
3810  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.21] on: October 05, 2012, 02:43:57 PM
Well then I guess I have no idea.  I'm a C++ guy in my day job but I haven't looked into the fine details of the BTC algos.

OP hasn't posted for over a month so I'm not sure he's around anymore.

He didn't post from August 2011 till July 2012, he has a life I guess, but I'm sure he hasn't abandoned his useful project.
3811  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Dank Bank Deposits - dank soul guarantee - 1.2%-2.0% weekly on: October 04, 2012, 11:36:48 PM
What's wrong with you, Dank?
3812  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you play MMORPG games if so what kind? on: October 03, 2012, 10:44:42 PM
Used to play runescape and some non-MMO (but online) games, for the last two years though, I haven't wasted my time with any games. There is so many more interesting things to spend time on than games.

Charlie, Are we allowed to post which bank owns that BIN/IIN, the first six digits of the card number? Wink

Why not? You can find it in 30s with Mr. Google.
3814  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Question to BitInstant on: October 03, 2012, 10:31:30 PM
What's the problem with bitinstant? The fee stays at 3.99% no matter which country or payment options I choose.

Could've bought 3-4 (that was the amount in stock when I logged in today) but only have enough to pay for 1 now. But I'm still glad I got on time.  Cool
3816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Any way to get much faster confirmations? on: October 03, 2012, 03:35:40 PM
I wouldn't bother waiting for 4 confirmations unless the transaction was in a four-digit range or higher (if it was a 5-digit or higher one maybe you should wait for 6 confirmations).
I'm not sure about 0-conf transactions but 1-conf should be enough for anything below $500-1k (so most PoS transactions).

You should first ask yourself a few questions:

Who is able to do double-spends?
If they are, how much would it cost them?

3819  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: [Poll] What have you doing with the coins you mined? on: October 02, 2012, 02:35:29 AM
There is a ''Destroy'' option missing.

It’s amazing what godlike power a little fleshy hole has over otherwise intelligent men.

My fiance reminds me of it daily.... Wink

fiancé or fiancée?
