If we're talking about the Bitcoin network, then the government can prolly influence the market and cause a plunge in the price, but that can only be sustained for the short period, as the coin will definitely shake it off and appreciate again, even though one doesn't like how governments make most of their decisions, but we can't deny the fact that they have quite a lot of influence, and even though they can't control the network, they can influence it, either positively and negatively.

Having said that, it all depends on the coin you're holding, if it's shitcoins/pump and dump, then this sort of news can knock them out completely as there will be a major exodus of investors from their network, but if your portfolio is made up of long term projects like Bitcoin and Ethereum, then you should be rest assured that the Chinese government nor any other government for that matter can only temporarily affect the network with their sanctions.

I think Inflation is really becoming a thing in most countries of the world, it would definitely affect people's savings as they now have to spend more on their daily needs as cost of living is sky-high, and by extension, it reduces the amount one ordinarily delimits for saving and investment. In my country for example, I fear that if the rate of inflation continues to go up, then Sooner or later, people wouldn't even have anything for saving/investing, they would only be concerned if their income would be able to sufficiently take care of their basic needs.
In my opinion, it actually depends on how much the individuals source of income is, for people who earn quite well, I don't think they will have to cut down on anything and even if they will, it'll little or nothing. For people who aren't that buoyant, then they really have to make adjustments that will suit them, and this adjustments would have to favor their basic needs rather than savings or investments, cause that's what should come first.

If reports of this swap deal is true, then I think United would be the ones benefitting for now as Ndombele is in really good and impressive form, but the same cannot be said of Anthony Martial, and it could even turn out to be the move Martial needs to resuscitate his career from the impeding doom it's currently headed, but even at Spurs, I don't think Martial would be a starter. But the thing remains that Anthony Martial needs to leave Old Trafford sooner rather than later, with the return of Ronaldo, he is definitely going to find game time hard to come, thus he is still somewhat young and could go elsewhere and make a name for himself.

Though the chances are pretty low that a newbie account would prolly manage a legitimate project, but the legitimacy of a project is not measured by the rank of the user in charge of the project on the forum. It actually depends on how much one has, or what skill or service one can render, what we must understand is that, in as much as people may want to retain the value of their funds from inflation and hyperinflation, many can't actually achieve that due to insufficient/lack of funds. In my opinion, since my knowledge about Bitcoin investment is constantly developing, then I'd definitely choose it as a defense against inflation, I believe and understand the network, thus it seems to be the best option for me. The right thing for people to do is to invest in what they believe to last for the long period, be it Bitcoin, stocks, other commodities, etc. I really hope all this talk about inflation does not get to the worst stage possible, cause then we'd prolly not be talking about investments, but on how people will be able to foot their bills and meet basic needs.

There is actually nothing wrong with KYC verification on centralized exchanges with good reputation per se, but many crypto users try their possible best to protect their privacy and their data, it's not about having the intentions of stealing or hiding anything, but just cause people value their personal data and wouldn't want a situation were it'll be sold on the dark market. There have been numerous incidents of crypto exchanges being hacked and users data exposed to dangerous people, this can put people in danger as their personal information is what's submitted to complete KYC verification.

Having said that, governments use centralized exchanges to track people, as the exchange holds the data of their users and the government has the power to request for it, this is another reason people shy away from centralized exchanges. There is absolutely nothing wrong with dex exchanges and it has nothing to do with 'criminals', it's just an avenue for crypto users to maintain a high level of privacy and security.

It's prolly safe to say you're somewhat new to the network and maybe you have not experienced a bear market or a period of correction, this is the period most newcomers tend to panic and sell off their stash, but there is actually nothing unusual or strange about the network atm, it is just a period were the market plunges and it happens every now and then in the crypto market.

Having said that, if you're hodling a good coin like Bitcoin, then you should hold your funds for this correction period as it will definitely appreciate back up again, but if the coins in your wallets are pump and dump altcoins that are more or less short term projects, then you can take your returns cause most times when some shitcoins dump, that can be the end of project.

To be honest, I feel kind of disappointed the way things turned out for James at Everton, he was having a great time at the beginning of last season, playing well under his former manager at Madrid Carlo Ancelloti, but now Ancelloti is gone, it seems it's over for James at the blue half of Merseyside. If something actually tells you that, then go ahead and buy and hodl it, imo, it's always a good time to buy Bitcoin, bear or bull run, it really doesn't matter for me, what's most important is you're not buying more than you can afford to lose, or you're not taking loans, borrowing money or doing other things you really shouldn't be doing just to invest in the coin.

Having said that, most of us invest/trade Bitcoin, so you'd always get a positive answer when you ask or talk about Bitcoin here, so what's best for one to do is to do their own research and come up with what's best for them.

I'm not trying to be pessimistic here, but I think this list will take ages to get filled up, it may even take quite long to add another country to the list, this is not cause Bitcoin is not a great currency/investment option, but just basically cause governments cannot control it, thus they'll definitely be reluctant to take the path that El Salvador has taken, in the past few weeks, some government officials from other countries have openly criticized El Salvador's decision, it just goes to show what the rest of the world thinks about it.

Having said that, I expect Bitcoins rapid growth to continue, with or without governments acceptance/adoption, the thing remains that their level of control over the network remains essentially limited, thus they seek to do so through centralized exchanges and other centralized services crypto users submit their data to before using their service, I do hope that somewhere down the line, governments look beyond their quest for control and accept Bitcoin as a change/good alternative to their monotonous traditional financial system.

The above is an excerpt from the link in the op, and it's basically clear that Governments will continue to impose regulations, sanctions and bans under the pretext of attempting to challenge and quell crypto scams, when actually they are trying their possible best to have some sort of control over the network and limit its growth which is proving futile, the thing is, I expect this regulations to continue and it's very comfortable for the government to have some sort of control over crypto through centralized exchanges, as the exchange holds possession of users info/data.

Imo, this could be a calculated move to make life difficult for crypto exchanges, and by extension its users, to prolly kick some of them out of business or without choice force them to bend to their new rules, I mean, it's not like fiat crimes and scams have been replaced with crypto scams but the government is making it feel that way; I really do not have high hopes that governments in time to come will be receptive to dex crypto, it's clear they are obsessed with control and want to smother any form of freedom of funds their citizens can get.

I think United are going to struggle today, not just cause they had a very hard game against Young Boys in the CL, but cause West Ham is a very decent team with players that can cause quite a lot of problems for opposition defense, I'd like to see how United's defense handles the threat Antonio will pose today, it's going to be a very interesting and free flowing game with quite some goals. I somewhat Believe in only Bitcoin on the crypto network, I think it's different from majority of coins in the network today that are more or less pump and dump coins, actually, Bitcoin has a use case and that's why when we talk about crypto adoption, it's mainly Bitcoin that comes to mind/is in the picture, for example, look at the adoption of Bitcoin by the country El Salvador, it's cause they understand the use of Bitcoin and the many people that actually want to use it as a currency, you cannot say the same about any other cryptocurrency.

What is most interesting for me about Bitcoin is decentralization, control and freedom is with the users unlike fiat currencies and many centralized digital currencies, with Bitcoin, the users are their own banks and do not have to rely on centralized organizations or the government in issues relating to their funds, that's one very good reason why I'm a Bitcoin user.

If and when Elon Musk stops tweeting and talking about Dogecoin, the meme coin will prolly dump, but it'll survive, the thing is, for now it is prolly Elon's influence that's pumping the coin and people buying into it wouldn't expect the pump to continue if Elon somewhat withdraws his endorsement, but since the coin has been around even before it caught Elons eyes, it would not go into oblivion if the billionaire loses his interest all of a sudden. But without Elon, dogecoin will definitely struggle in the network until something else drives its price up just like Elons tweets did, but I don't think it would just completely vanish, but it would definitely be affected.

If your country of origin actually has a local board it could be a very good place to start with on the forum, if you do not have a local board, and you somewhat understand English, then you'll have zero problems familiarizing yourself with what the forum is all about. On the second point, I don't quite agree, majority of people who were introduced to the forum by people were told stories of how they can earn X amount of dollars by posting on the forum, quite a lot of users only expunged that ideology/mindset when they actually started posting on the forum and discovered it's benefits outside earning, as for those who stuck to what they were told, they either got banned for plagiarism/spamming or just grew into constant shitposters with zero development.

Having said that, one doesn't even need all this hackneyed instructions, what you basically must know is that this is a discussion forum for Bitcoin and other crypto related stuffs, just read and follow the rules and you'd be totally fine.
