3801  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcoin-Farm.com ***WITHDRAWS NOT WORKING*** on: March 28, 2017, 03:22:51 PM
have you tried considering contacting their support to ask what's going on with your withdrawals? if they don't respond quickly they are prolly a scam, and don't invest in suspicious cloud minign they are all scam and you will never roi, they are notorious for being a hidden ponzi, not very different than double coin/2x coin and all that shit scam
3802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's wrong with this thinking process on: March 28, 2017, 03:21:36 PM
I'm planning on buying some coins that are <$1 on coinmarketcap.com. The reason is that they are very cheap, so getting a lot of them is not going to be too expensive. If a coin is $0,001, I could buy 10.000 which will cost me $10. If it goes up to let's say $1, I will have earned $10.000. The question is obviously how reasonable the chance it that it will reach $1, but looking at coinmarketcap.com, it seems 7 out of 10 coins are $1$+. If the coins fall in the top 10 in terms of MarketCap I consider them popular coins so there's quite some demand for them, hence one could reasonably assume there is a big chance it will once hit $1.

Obviously there are a lot of assumptions above, that's done on purpose as I can't help but believe these are fair assumptions. But seems like I'm alone out there otherwise it would be a get-rich-quick scheme.... Hence, can someone give me good (constructive) feedback on why this thinking is extremely naïve and wrong?

it's not that easy because the chance that those coins die is much higher than those coins reaching a greater value, because they are at that bad value for a reason, on the other hand some of them that are not nearly dead could have their value up 100x, but you must identify which one is worth the risk, see if they offer something useful and not just a pump and dump scheme
3803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ZCash vs Monero - privacy on: March 28, 2017, 03:18:26 PM
OK, slight change of topic. As I said, I'm more interested in the technical side. So the question is more like what's the difference between ring signatures and zero knowledge proofs. And again, especially in terms of privacy (which one is more anonymous).

as far as i know zcash is more anonymous, but both offer high privacy level and untraceable payment , this is useful

3804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this possible with altcoins? on: March 28, 2017, 10:43:21 AM
you can check cryptopia they have all the coin that are not died yet, you can find one with small marketcap and try to pump it, when other will buy you dump, but it's not out of risky, and it come with big luck, isn't better for you to invest in stable and strong altcoin? like decred monero zcash ethereum and other?
3805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how do you think about DCR? on: March 28, 2017, 10:41:41 AM
good coin but i don't like that the dev have 800k premine, that can be dumped at will, there was a good pump but now it's dumped again, what i like about this algo is the pos system with the ticket to buy and reward, not like conventional pos, which was always bad for me
3806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Decred: The Sleeping Giant. 2017's Best Investment. on: March 27, 2017, 04:43:24 PM
what's the reason for this huge dump of dcr? Huh Huh
any idea...

i think the price went too fast high, and now who have accumulated is dumping, there are users with pelnty fo decred and they can dump at this price for massive profit, do you know that the dev hold 800k decred? lol 800k at 0.02 is 16k bitcoins, why he should hold tell me? i would not be surprised if he started dumping too
3807  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Does Anyone Think BTC Splitting into Two Will Make BU Go to the Moon? on: March 27, 2017, 04:40:57 PM
I don't get it.  It will actually be bad for BOTH chains if indeed Bitcoin forks into two.  Some people who are following the space could see this as a weakness and another reason not to start investing or accepting BTC as payments.  Imagine if you were a merchant and you have to go thru and be involved in this sh*t, with all the debates and the drama.  And worst of all the uncertainty of BTC's future.

no one said what you are saing in this thread, everyone think that the split is bad and cause a bad price and the investors are dumping the value of bitcocin because they also think this, a split can in fact cause everyone to have double the amount of coins, and this mean everyone will rush to dump his free coins, causing a big dump in the market
3808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie Altcoins questions? on: March 27, 2017, 04:38:09 PM
Apart from obvious bitcoin which established altcoin is the best overall backed up by good reviews?

Bitcoin has a max supply of 21 million coins,

What is the max supply of Ethereum?

What is the max supply of Dash?

What is the max supply of Monero?

Is there a all in one wallet that can store all these altcoins? If so which is the best wallet to use?

Im from UK and like to know which is the best exchange for me with the most volume for altcoins like these?

Thanks,

etehruem has around 88M supply, dash has far less supply around 7 million, monero has double of that around 14 million, you can check any supply on coinmarketcap there are many coins there, there was in the past the wallet you want a multicoins wallet, but i don't think it was upgraded to host all the new coins
3809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POW can it work? on: March 27, 2017, 04:35:11 PM
I think Delegated POS is the most secure, most decentralized, most scalable invention in crypto space.

POS =  more you own = more power. How is that decentralized

POW with new algorithm is the way to go  and soon we will see a good one on exchangers

this, POW is always the prefered choice, over pos, pos usually end with the coin dumped and abandoned by the dev, pow has more development, and icentivate investors to buy because miners by minign give a minimum value to the coin, based on their profit, it's strange that after so many years there are no alternative pow, that still work like pow, but maybe better
3810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CAN WE SEND BTC WITHOUT ANY FEES??? on: March 27, 2017, 04:31:42 PM
Hello users.
Does anyone know any method to send BTC to users with less fees.
.
Cause Blockchain and many other major wallets are going crazy on the fees...

I wonder how Direct faucets give BTC with very much or less fees.
.
I would like to know how they do it.
Thanks!

yes you can you can choose the fee, so you can set zero, but will take many hours if not days for confirmation, you can use an accelerator to make it faster, but i'm not sure if with zero fee the accelerator will work
3811  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is more risky? Skill-based gambling or trading? on: March 27, 2017, 12:27:03 PM
For me skill based gambling is more risky rather than trading,
But I don't really know cause I am not a trader and whenever I gamble I would only play in some dice site.

it can be more risky at worst require more training and focus, and emotions play a bigger role there like also being tired or not, those are factors that play a bigger role in a skilled game in opposition to luck game, where emotion doesn't count too much, because you can win while you are happy some times
3812  Economy / Gambling / Re: https://1bitprofit.com on: March 27, 2017, 12:23:16 PM
the site is very clean and simple i like it, but it would be better if you add a faucets to attract more investors

how to get  free 2 bits ?
iam sigup not get free  Huh
same here how to get the free bits, anything so far, let me know for giving it a try
There's a faucet in the site and you can get the free 2 bits there every hour by solving a captcha. I wonder why you didn't see that  Huh It's on the top right corner. Anyway, I'll provide the link of the request page so that it will be easier for you to check, https://1bitprofit.com/request

where is the faucets? i can't see it, it's because i'm not registered?

their faucet is pretty well hidden, haha
you got to click on your username first, then there will be faucet option available to you
after all it is only 200 satoshi and you cannot claim it more than once in one hour
and your balance has to be 0 to be able to claim again,it is not stackable

that's bad and pointless to resolve captcha just for that amount, i can make more at freebitcco.io, if they want more users adding a nice faucets is a great way to incentivate their website traffic
3813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LBRY will release next month, is good investment right now? on: March 27, 2017, 10:00:43 AM
High inflation rate coin has no future, look dogecoin, it is dumped hard after its first hype in 2013-2014.

doge is different though, doge has infinite supply, this has just bad parameters, that need to be addressed if you want the value to increase quickly

Only 56 million exist right now.

Yes, 56 million is available for trading presently, but the close to 500 million tokens is in the hands of the developers, I think this is what put most people away from the project initially. The figure is too huge and 10% of that price can move the price significantly

those money in the hands of the dev were used i think to help lbry grow, or i'm wrong?
3814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How DASH is stealing investors money - pyramid scheme revealed. on: March 27, 2017, 09:56:18 AM
dash isn't stealing money like any other coins on the market, if someone want to invest he is free to do so, as log he can understand the risk, with trading there is high risk high reward, what you are saying look like a conspirancy theory for me, it has no fundamental just a conjectures, and conjectures are like opinion, very pointless
3815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which safer wallet poloniex or altcoins wallets on: March 27, 2017, 09:53:54 AM
poloniex was hacked before, better to keep it in your wallet, but poloniex is still reliable now it's the biggest exchange for altcoin, but you can't beat a local wallet if you pc is secure of course
3816  Economy / Speculation / Re: People selling alts to go back in BTC on: March 26, 2017, 04:21:57 PM
not all of them, did you see decred? it rose very high 0.02 per decred in 1 day, so unless more money are pumping decred, i see that a portion of the value of bitcoin is still in the altcoin section, you can just move 1B from bitcoin, and do an insane pump on all the altcoin, because they all have a very ow marketcap, and 1B is only 5% of btc value
3817  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price is recovering! on: March 26, 2017, 04:20:24 PM
Good news dude !
Bitcoin price is recovering little by little .
From 950 $ some hours ago to 1066$ now !
Buy now till it's under 1100$.
 https://blockchain.info/markets

The present price value of bitcoin now is 1010$ unlike yesterday it was 995$, so its yes! bitcoin at the present are now getting recover the price anyhow. Which I think is still a good chance to buy bitcoin then hold. Smiley

not really recovering, it look like bouncing back and forth between the same value, like the undecision that investors have toward bitcoin because of the fork, when i look at it i see that the market of bitcoin always reflect the sentiment of the investors, you can easily tell how they feel by looking at the value
3818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoin are you currently supporting, and Why? on: March 26, 2017, 04:17:35 PM
i'm supporting decred, it look very promising, the dev is from core, and has a good pos feature, not like the one you find in other altcoin, i'm also supporting spreadcoin, and lbry, i just hope that libry could modify the inflation rate, which is too high, i also like monero/zcash but not directly supporting it
3819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: there don't seem to be great Bitcoin alternatives on: March 26, 2017, 04:14:10 PM
I have been seriously considering hedging a portion of my Bitcoin
holdings in other cryptocurrencies.

But so far, upon researching, they all seemed to be plagued
with one issue or another.

Ethereum?  Gaining huge traction right now but one
look at the inflation curve compared to Bitcoin and
there's just no way i'm going for that.

Zcash?  I read that the reason why its so anonymous
is that the funds are internally mixed using a super
secret key 'corporate team key' that 6 people have access to.
yikes.

Ripple?  Not even a cryptocurrency.  No...just, no.

Dash?  huge instamine (claimed by accident) and 10% of
the rewards go to a treasury account, and some algo
("DGBB") gets to decide how to spend the money. red flags.

decred is good, it was done by oen of the core team tht now is working on his own project called decred, raised by more than 250% today, i would invest there if bitcoin see trouble
3820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: March 26, 2017, 11:54:44 AM
no because there is no skill involved it's all about luck, and luck don't require experience anyone can sit down and play two game and be lucky and win a lot, with skilled game you can't do that, otherwise won't be called gambling right? at best there re better player that can control their emotion well and maybe limit their loss a bit
