3801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 6-win Challenge EURO2016 and NBAFINALS PICKS by Joca97 on: June 10, 2016, 12:54:10 PM
First bet of the challenge has been made !
Starting date and time: 10.06.2016 21:00 (sportsbet.io time)

Looking for your comments guys!!
Looks Like I missed this one! Couldn't find the event through the quoted link.Odds must have expired but that's too short of time to do so.Also the website seem very complicated than all the sports books I have ever used. The search bar doesn't show the event France vs Romania ,took me 15 mins to actually locate the event and then later found out the odds doesn't exist.Only possible available odds are Over and Under ,not even individual team win is mentioned which is quite sad.Anyhow you have a PM.Maybe will follow from the next matches.
3802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ready for bitcoin halving? on: June 10, 2016, 12:21:33 PM
Of course I am. The biggest moment of my crypto life was losing 8 BTC on Rollin, but if bitcoin rises at least 40%, I'll make it all back.
How does that relate to bitcoin or what would probably halving do ? Bring you lots of luck on a gambling game ? I don't think so,you clearly over expectations from the phenomena.

I'm ready for bitcoin halving. I have so many bitcoins, around 5 bitcoins i invested. I predicted the price of bitcoin is increase so high, so i'm ready for the halving.
5 bitcoins invested in what ? You're taking chances here. The block reward changes will definitely be lucrative for a while but no fair trade is expected in the period. If you're smart enough to hold/sell at the right time, your investment will make sense.

3803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Banks Hates Bitcoin? on: June 10, 2016, 12:17:30 PM
Many banks are wary of the fact that the industry will undergo wrenching change. At this point, it seems that on the horizon, the banking system is seen two courses.
Nope.Banks are no way scared of bitcoins, they are infact happy about the fact they would have less bullshit to be dealt with.It hardly matters for them weather it be a fiat or crypto, they know they would play a big role unless once is actively prioritized over other.Right now its fiat!

Banking institutions can start working in the new, ever-evolving areas of digital money. In this case, for a start they are required the recognition of changes in financial technology and the adoption of this concept.
They won't do that,Why should they ? That's again making the crypto world centralized. With major safety techniques and cold wallets ,I can be my own bank to store my savings safely.Peer to Peer loan is another advantage,I may add.

Or, banks may continue to operate under the old system.
That's what means today use to mask the traditional banking system. Ultimately, we are likely to see, as different banks have chosen different paths of development, depending on their attitude to such disruptive technologies like Bitcoin.
Banks would operate under the old system for permanent. They can't go all "DAO" over the dawn of bitcoins.
3804  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: RedLightBlues.in is looking for donations! on: June 10, 2016, 12:11:51 PM
You could give more information how you're actually using the donations .

If I'm not wrong, you're making stories from interviewing random poor struggling people from the streets, making a blog post about it and given them food as part of the gesture. Now,I'm really not sure what you're intentions are
1.You want to make the blog famous
2.Or you wish to help the poor,
3.Mutual profits

In 1 and 3 cases, you don't need donations at all, there is a term for it logically ,"Investors" who need a equity stake in your business. In the 2nd case, you don't need the 1st and 3rd discrepancies at all, that does make it look like a scam you're doing to fulfill your packets while giving biscuit packets for the poor and a name for the donater on your website.Well, that hardly matters, you're not giving any significant benefits afterall and it sounds shady as hell.Make up your mind and decide what exactly you have to do.You can't make a business out of charity ,unless you want to scam people.
3805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin Core wallet coins not appearing?! on: June 10, 2016, 12:04:47 PM
I sent money from my circle account 163$ worth of BTC and It's been 2 days I have yet to see it in my Bitcoin Core wallet I downloaded I'm new to the program if  someone could help me that'd make me feel so much more at ease I am kind of freaking out right now  Cry

>Its been how many days since you have installed the Core ? If you have newly installed the application, let it synch overnight or longer.Provided ,it depends on your Internet speed.

>If its already in sync with the network, try running a rescan.

>Additionally, provide the transaction id of the transfer.
3806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 6-win Challenge EURO2016 and NBAFINALS PICKS by Joca97 on: June 09, 2016, 09:05:42 PM
That seems like a challenge ! Going to follow you for the entire trip.

>How do you manage to get odds above 1.90 per match ? I mean isn't it obvious that the odds are good for a reason ?

>Are there any advantages to sign up under your affiliate link ? Please provide me one,I'd be glad to make first deposit.

Let's do this!
3807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: June 09, 2016, 08:19:46 PM
Yeah, it's really hard to escape from gambling. I need 1 year to 100% not gambling anymore, my method is always spend your bitcoin into something. Like turn it into fiat, buy steam wallet and etc.
This is the best method to stop gambling. If we keep converting our bitcoins to fiat, that urge to gamble the cash would reduce as we not have any bitcoins then to gamble. Spending bitcoins is safe and even wise thing for most gamblers as these games are too addictive due to the taste of wins.
So assuming we can convert your bitcoins into fiat, can't we gamble with fiats ? I think the fiat gambling market is much more wider than the online one.In fact many actual gamblers started at fiats.Liquidating the cash seems like a worst possible excuse to quit gambling. Moreover, how is that quitting when one always live in a fear that he is incapable of holding onto funds since he would gamble them away .No Logic found.Quit==If handed 10 bitcoins and a dice site opened in front of your page, you'd still not choose to gamble.

@JasonXg : Why are you obliged to open threads about gambling issues when I don't see any relevant reasons or proofs that you are actually interested in Gambling.I mean in other threads you have represented yourself as clean, law abiding citizen with lawyers around your back.

3808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Receiving payment? on: June 09, 2016, 07:53:07 PM
Hi,
Today I downloaded bitcoin core so I could receive money from someone.
You don't have to download only bitcoin core as there are light weight wallets like Electrum or multibit which could be used to receive bitcoins too.

About 45 minutes ago I provided the user who was sending the bitcoin with my receiving address.
He says it says pending and waiting for confirmation but on my bitcoin app theres nothing pending and balance is 0.
Sidenote: It says "Reindexing blocks on disk" 3 years 37 weeks.
I believe ,its reindexing database is probably converting  the old database to the new one. That depends on your Internet speed for the amount of time taken.Took me couple of days to have the entire db reindexed.

Edit: he says its still pending but it was just confirmed.
Ask him for the transaction ID.Without the txid its not possible to check the actual status of the transaction.

1) Is the reindexing blocks the reason I haven't received the payment yet?
2) Could it be because he uses a different bitcoin app?
3) Is there any way to cancel a bitcoin transaction?
1->Maybe if you provide the transaction id ,we can see the status of the transaction. No,reindxing is not the reason you have received the payment. You might have received the payment but it would not reflect in your wallet address.Usually take around 4-5 hours with speed of 1mbps.

2->No doesn't matter, regardless of the bitcoin app,all transactions are public and appear on the blockchain.

3->If the transaction is unconfirmed, you can double spend it but that's not what you want to do. Theoretically, you can't cancel a transaction in your case because I'm sure it would have been confirmed by now.
3809  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitBuku - No house, Player vs Player Casino[LIVE!] on: June 03, 2016, 08:49:01 PM
Winner pays the house fee that is 5% ? Not a great deal I suppose ? What if I deposit the funds and couldn't find anyone to play along with ? Btw I have just deposited a few bucks waiting for a player.Usually I don't bet on such games but just wanted to give this a try.
3810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 03, 2016, 08:41:31 PM
I think South Africa will face some difficulties by playing on West Indian pitches, it have totally different condition so that i will give try to West Indies @3 because there is very good possibility to do arbitrage into this match.
Very good bet with solid odds @3 I love but almost miss this party now West Indies is just @1.3 as South Africa fail to produce any action and all gone under 190 which is really poor performance from them
Good odds are there for a reason.SouthAfrica is not winning this game.West Indies just won the T20 World Cup,beat South Africa terribly in all the matches. No chance of them beating west indies anyway.Wait for the batting magic!
3811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Alternative for martingale? on: June 03, 2016, 08:33:32 PM
As of now never heard theres good alternative to martingale but honestly martingale for me is the best in other games not in online games.. it will work in live games..  honestly i can not trust any online casino just program not a real human play..
Yeah ,that's the entire point of this thread.Suggesting an alternative to martingle. The only possible solution I could think of right now is a clever bot.Not programmed with the heuristic behavior of the game but sort of an AI touch to the gambling environment.Resetting of the client seed should be done before every 3 rolls.
3812  Economy / Exchanges / Re: With Coinbase (apparently) going down, where do you go to sell your BTC? on: June 03, 2016, 08:17:39 PM
With the bitcoin prices sky rocketting, every one is losing it.Hide yo coins ,Hide yo wallets the bitcoin monsters are looking to steal them!It is not safe to have your coins floating around in exchange wallets. As far as trading is concerned ,BE HODL ,its too soon for that.Localbitcoins has always an amazing alternative and always will be.Try Kraken if you're not comfortable with LBC.
3813  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What profitable Bitcoin website would you use and need? Please brainstorm! on: June 03, 2016, 08:13:50 PM
So what exactly you're looking for ? Ideas ? Why would anyone share an idea which is lucrative from the business point of view ? Unless you are putting up a bounty for the selected idea or some part of shares in the project it doesn't make sense.I have couple of good ideas, shoot me a PM if you want to take it further, provided I will be seeking an equal equity in the project.Oh I can contribute to the development too!
3814  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: New Blockchain Wallet. How to find Unknown Addresses? on: June 03, 2016, 08:03:41 PM
How is even that possible ? If you're sending funds from your wallet,it should reflect the same address .
1.Make sure you are not using multiple address in your wallet. The initial wallet will be different but in case if you would have received the payments in another wallet, the same should be reflected while sending.

2.You sure you aren't using any coin mixing services ?

3.Post the deposit wallet and the money you sent from wallet addresses. That should make things easier to understand.

4.The new wallet is in Beta stages, its not advisable to use it too soon!
3815  Economy / Services / Re: Willing To Teach Blackhat Method. Earn 0.5BTC/Month On Adspaces PPC! No BS on: June 03, 2016, 07:44:29 PM
So I'm a black hat hacker.Spend almost 2 years on BlackHatWorld.Let me tell you, whatever you are trying to do is not difficult at all.If someone spends quite a lot of time reading Black Hat Seo techniques on blackhatworld ,I'm sure he can do as effectively as you can.Keyword stuffing,PBN tool list, dominating the niche etc are easy ways to get through the ranks and generate good incomes.I'm not saying your service is bad but people can simply do it for anyone with 1BTC.Why would someone pay you 1BTC and learn the method while he can get it done for much more cheaper. And if learning is the only concern, internet is a huge resource.
3816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Roger Ver and blocksize on: June 03, 2016, 07:31:01 PM
Don't you know Roger Ver is an  - Bitcoin Angel Investor & Bitcoin Evangelist ? Well that's what his official website says and hence his opinions do matter to those who follow him.I don't see anything wrong with that.
Umm...somethings wrong there. That's not my quote ,its Lauda's reply to mine.I'll answer you on his behalf anyway.Unofficial one.

so the thing is Roger Ver probably wants to make clear the issue, so he can make a strategy on bitcoin. simple thought.
Again due to bad quoting I could understand the above part.No Roger Ver just wants to store those bitcoins in his ass while coming up with all the bullshit opinions on how to make bitcoins better. As Gmax said,if he'd be actually interested in dong something helpful,he'd donate 1/3 of what he has to the core developers.Every scene as dramatic cunt in it,Roger Ver is for Bitcoin.
3817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do winning and losing gamblers have different personalities or habits? on: June 03, 2016, 07:25:41 PM
It's all about mindset.
More like perception.Mindset isn't the correct term to define a personality.

Well, at least when it comes to poker, the difference between a successful poker player and a losing poker player has everything to do with mindset. Those who think they can succeed will. Those who think they will fail, will succeed at failing.
See,no matter what mindset you have ,your cards and intelligence to an extent decides if you will won or lose. Not every game is a charm, not every lost game is the end of it.In my mind I can assume a lot of things ,what if my bank roll doesn't match the level of my cards.I will have to back out!On the other side, doesn't matter how intellectual you're if your opponent has a royal flush with you being plain shit cards, you simply can't win for obvious reasons.Luck does play a bigger role. The smart decision you can do this time is call it quits.

Those with a losing mindset have limiting beliefs that prevent them from putting in the time and work required to improve their game and thus impede their development into becoming a successful poker player. You can see many examples of people with limiting beliefs and the losing mindset here in the gambling section not only regarding poker, but other gambling types as well.
Can you win a 3 card poker match with a person having 3 Aces while you are on double queens ? You just can't! My point is ,your mindset doesn't matter, your cards, opponent and experience defines your capabilities to win the game. You can assume a lot, keep your mind prepared but before great cards and money management techniques, its as useful buying a hat in Somalia to keep off from the sun.
3818  Economy / Gambling / Re: tell me best trustworthy dice betting sites on: June 03, 2016, 07:16:55 PM
What is good with yobit dice game? Just because you can bet with any kind of coins?Nothing special on it, higher house edge than usual dice game, lack of features, is it provably fair?
So I would say yobit dice game is the worst dice game ever, no offense but that's just my own honest opinion.
I agree with you to an extent. Additionally it is very prone to bot attacks or custom script hacks.Accepting a lot of shitcoins is good and nothing new about it.Even Crypto-Games accept a number of good coins which have stable value in the market. One should be out of his mind if he goes to YoBit to place dice out of the 100 better options he has.I skimmed through the website couple of times but couldn't find a link to check its provable fairness.
3819  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New Bitcoinexplorer Insight node Live on: June 03, 2016, 07:08:41 PM
Nothing new.Looks like clone of the explorer set default by Localbitcoins to check their incoming transactions. However what I felt satisfying is this part
Good alternative to verify signed messages.Tried with a few staked addresses ,works smooth.Instead for checking the blocks,I'd rather use it to verify signed messages.
3820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: www.thehalvening.com - the bitcoin rocket on: June 03, 2016, 07:01:30 PM
The site is really awesome, not just a simple countdown but a cool animation! #ToTheMoon?

Nice implications.Sky Rocketting concept.I wish it had animations too, each day closer to halving the rocket moves a certain distance ahead. To all the people asking who's the dev of the site ,its him : https://twitter.com/laudeam and not the OP.
