I don't think that Gold's role has been played out yet. Taking Cypherdoc's essay as a reference point, all this bailout activity has given market players a tremendous faith in TPTB that the system will continue to survive. This belief is clearly visible in the stock market with very levitated prices and bond yields that make old widows cry.

As for gold, captain FIAT just hasn't lost enough control yet for the passengers to freak out. The concept of digital dollars probably has a significant impact on calming the passengers. Since Gold's tremendous run up from 2001 until 2011, the FED is simply winning this round's perception play. But there will be a final round that will be kind to anything not written on a piece of paper (or centrally stored on a computer).

The smartest are usually way ahead of their time. Just be patient and accumulate in the meantime.

At current prices, Mooncoin must reach 93 Litoshi to be 1 Satoshi again. Looking at dogecoin, long term goal is at least 10 Satoshis.

I really hope someone can develop a mobile (Android) wallet for this coin.

If 2012 is our guide, 2016 is not unrealistic. Lets say I just consider such a scenario as quite possible. Not many are prepared for this.

It basically underwrites the theory of Masterlucif that Bitcoin will go nowhere until the next block halving.

The best way to stall Bitcoin is to spread FUD and impose all kinds of burdensome regulations.

Bitcoin could mean availability of a stable price point again. It's much more transparent than the Gold market. Everyone would able to see how fiat currency is depreciating in value compared to the stable/predictable amount of bitcoins in circulation.

It is interesting to think about the changing investment environment is the world switches from unstable  fiat currencies for calculations to a stable environment of crypto currencies. True economic calculation would be possible again.
