3801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Local sports book, arbs? on: December 21, 2020, 10:45:51 PM
Yes it’s legal.. It’s at a major long standing casino but the sports betting bar just got added..
I think some laws must have changed recently allowing it because they are even advertising sportsbetting apps on the radio these days..

So how was it, did you find an opportunity to arbitrage?

Arbitrage is certainly not illegal, a bookie would not know that you are gambling with another site for arbitrage betting, this is indeed a no risk way of making money but opportunity does not present easily, you need to find those little difference in order to successfully do an arbitrage betting.

maybe you can move this thread to Gambling discussion so others will see this and give their opinion.
3802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: December 21, 2020, 10:20:03 PM
Nah, don't want to bet early.
Something might change.  Grin

Although, I am really having a tough time deciding.
They really did good matching those first games of the season.
I might go Brooklyn and Clippers or just bet for under. They might start aggressively with defense especially with the Clippers vs Lakers game.

Odds changes is really important, let us not be too exited here, we are are looking for some opportunity to win so we need to bet at the right time. Well, I think the best match up in the first game is the Lakers vs Clippers, these are the top 1 and 2 teams respectively which are favorite to win the NBA championship, so a first game does matter to them, and you could be right, it could be an under, but just hold on, wait for a bit before placing your bet.

I'm not really following the progress of your recommended project. but if this choice is the right choice as a means of your investment, I hope you will find profit
For now, I don't think it's the right choice, investors of this project are just hoping that one day it will pump like bitcoin.

Look at the chart, you'll only hope that miracle will happen for this coin to come alive.

What's going on with the market on Bittrex? Why is there such a huge withdrawal fee on Bittrex?
It's been a long time since I check this project, when I checked now, I was surprise that there's no data anymore in https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/guppy/.... I  remember that it was listed in bittrex, but is this coin still not delisted? what happen to the volume? why no data is being shown?
3805  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies + Bounty = Zero future on: December 21, 2020, 01:44:07 PM
95% newbies of this forum is active on bounty threads.  <snip>
There are some bounties that gives fair payments, it would just take a good look to what company they will be joining.
That is why before joining any bounty campaigns of any platform, one should atleast do some background checks before deciding to join to that campaign. Otherwise, the risk is much higher.
Those bounty give fair payment but they will have a lot of participants, actually I like to know if you can convert the word "fair" into figures, because in the past, people are earning $1,000 ore more after the bounty task, so they'll expect the same that's why they are still into bounty.
3806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: HITBTC withdrawal fees on: December 21, 2020, 01:17:58 PM
Absolutely lot of Withdraw fees in hitbtc exchange. But one suggest for every new users if you want Withdrawal fund in hitbtc exchange then keep convert dogecoin then make a transaction in binance exchange. Because have low fees in binance exchange. Actually this idea i have process many time when i gonna Withdraw fund in hitbtc exchange.
Same here, you don't need to withdraw bitcoin because there are alternative coins that you can use to minimize your fees. Doge, you won't feel the fee, it's almost free but you will have to exert more effort and time if you choose to keep bitcoin as you'll have to exchange it to other exchanges where bitcoin withdrawal fee is cheaper if you want to keep bitcoin in the end.

For those who have local exchange where they can exchange a coin to fiat, I hope your local exchange adds dogecoin so everything is easy for you.
That would be a big convenience if you do have a local wallet which do really have that DOGE being listed yet it would really solve out the hassle not only limited to DOGE
but you can make use of XRP yet fees isnt really that high too and same goes with tron which it is available into my local wallet so having these high fees
wont really be that a problem much because you can anytime switch up if you arent willing to pay up some 3-4 bucks or more in terms of fees.
It is just what important that you do deal with a legit exchange.
Hitbtc charge you 6 xrp per withdrawal, that's really huge for small transactions but the convenient is you can transfer your xrp faster compared to bitcoin now because the network is congested and the fee is still high, I don't know if you will pay the same amount it will be confirm in less than 15 minutes.

Doge really is the best if you have it in your local exchange, but I think most of us doesn't have it since local exchanges also have coins to support and they might fight it risky to hold doge in their wallet/s.

Where is stadus?
Is it time to open the other thread for NBA betting?  Grin
I miss looking at all the bets there that somehow helps me decide on my choices.
Edit: Oh sorry, so it was open already, just buried with a lot of threads in gambling.  Wink

You can start posting your picks, I already made mind during the preseason and I have a little run. I also like to red your predictions so I hope to see you guys in our betting thread, and I hope we will make money this season.
3808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 21, 2020, 09:46:45 AM
If there are chances, I would put this around 60/40 in favor of Mayweather.
That's too high for Logan Paul, I think the chance is just 90/10, but that is your own opinion, I respect that. If only i can see that kind of odds in the bookies, I would definitely go for Mayweather, I'll be betting heavily as that is a big gift.

How much do you think Mayweather would earn, if he earned $9 millions for his last exhibition fight against Nasukawa?
I believe he would earn almost $18 Millions or more because he's using the chance of the fight to sell his T-shirt which is made with real gold print and ultra-fine fabric.
There's no specific figure on how much he really earn, but in the articles that I read, it says he earned at least $9 million, maybe there are some additional but not bigger than the purse offered to him.

This article says $12.8 million.

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-01-01/mayweather-beats-nasukawa-in-140-seconds-us9m-boxing-exhibition/10677240
That seems to be around the minimum amount would Floyd take if ever he's up for a match as he's already retired. I've read some articles that say he can earn as much as $50M-$100m per average.

Maybe after the match, he'll give a statement how much he'd take for that match.

Maybe that amount was when he was still active, because when he retired, he wasn't making that big money anymore, and the fight against Mcgregor was part of his professional record as you can see in . https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/352.. actually his last fight as a professional.
3810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 21, 2020, 08:15:43 AM

hello
as i see opening match is:
Brooklyn Nets - Golden State Warriors  3.25

Warriors took a rest for 2 years. Is it possible that they are winning this match?
anybody here can compare both teams, what is the current situation?

Here's the information, https://www.covers.com/sport/basketball/nba/matchup/238843

Compare it and study.

As you your question whether is it possible for Warriors, yes of course, and I just want to correct you, they didn't took a rest for 2 years. Grin

Maybe he meant 2 years away from the finals.

But in terms of this upcoming game, they always have the chance even it's slim due to their current lineup, basketball is unpredictable once everything turned possitively in your side both defense and offense turns to you winning is always achievable even you are an underdog.

We don't know yet if Warriors can come back to the Finals now that they are not anymore as dominant as before, they loss Durant and Thompson, and Iguadala as well, so I don't really expect they will come back anytime soon.

3813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My sport betting journal. Build a 5 figure with a modest bankroll on: December 20, 2020, 09:59:27 PM
My neighbour was earning living by betting on sportsbooks (to be fair except him I haven't seen anyone in real life who has been getting some profit from betting, yeah, I know a lot of gambler and better). He was always doing bets on multiple teams and was aiming odds x50 and higher. A lot of tickets were losing but in overall, some of his higher odds were winning and finally, he was getting profit for years.
What do you think about this? Have you done something similar?
Your friend must be so focus on sports betting, I think what he is doing is a parlay bet, if he is making a living in gambling then I would say he is a legend because only few people are really making money in sports betting, though I don't know one personally.

You are lucky to have a neighbor like him, maybe you can ask for some tips on how to do the same, making money in sports betting is a hard job but a very lucrative one, you can turn yourself into a financially stable person.
3814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: December 20, 2020, 09:28:52 PM
My pick is Chicago Bulls -1.5
My streak is still active.

Congrats on the pick and on the nice little steak that you have going on. Bulls were down 16 points with around 10 minutes left but managed to cut the deficit and make it a close game in the final 2 minutes, Chandler Hutchison clutched two free throws to win this for you, i was following it live to see if it will hit for you.

My 4 game winning streak ended, Raptors lost, and i'm skipping today's games (i'm preoccupied with some NFL matchups), 4-2 record on the preseason, not too bad imo.

Thanks morvillz7z, having streak is really building our confident, and I'm happy to have a good preseason, hopefully I will enjoy the same in the regular season. It's a long way to go, there will be many up and down so I better ensure to have a good bankroll to survive.

I saw this project back at 2017 and it is now already on its main net and also has a lot of dapps on it. The numbers of coin does not matter if the community can be bigger and of course it will not reach $1 in 5 years. Maybe 20 years if the development is still going. And it is scale
Are you joking or what? https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/kin/markets/
It's end for kin coin. Im not aware if this project has a lot of dapps on it or am i missing something from this coin? I never heard that before dude. can you clarify it or at least give useful link for me that can explain anything about that? it sounds very strange to hear that there's still a lot of dapps running on this zombie platform right now.
I'm waiting for KIN to recover, unfortunately I bought at the top so I think it will be a long hold if this project will survive.
KIN is one of the many investments I have in the past, and until now it's still setting in my wallet just hoping things will be bullish this time.

My pick is Chicago Bulls -1.5
My streak is still active.

So we continue with another pick. No more long explanation again as I win this way in the preseason.

Game : Charlotte  vs Orlando Magic.

Pick : Orland Magic -5

Good luck.
3818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: December 18, 2020, 11:24:57 PM

Thank you, I was just lucky so I have this streak.

Betting again for tomorrow's game.
Game : Oklahoma Thunder vs Chicago Bulls.

My pick is Chicago Bulls -1.5

That's how luck combine with good knowledge about the game. You simply amazing stadus keep it coming! It was a a very close one since Dallas have a great leads coming in the 4th quarter, but Wolves didn't bothered to chased it up and keep it close forcing the game into OT.

And the outcome brings you your 4th straight! congrats again and good luck to your new
pick, for sure it's will be another exciting one especially to those who are tailing you from here.

I'm wondering why Bulls are -1.5 here, they are suppose to be the underdog as they are playing on the road, anyone care to explain here?
Honestly, I'm impressed that he is on 4 winning streak .......  Undecided

I'll put more detailed explanation when we are in the regular season, but for now, what you see is what you get.
if you will follow then good, if you will fade then no problem, what I'm saying is don't bet against my streak. hahaha

3819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: December 18, 2020, 12:33:16 PM

edit : my pick Dallas Mavericks +4.5

Another win mate, that was 3 in a row now, you got 2 wins in Mavericks if I'm not mistaken.
This two games in the preseason, Dallas beat the Bucks twice, good to see they are rolling early, congrats on your win anyway.

I didn't realize I was already 3 in a row.

I won on Dallas Mavericks two in a row but this time I'm betting against them.

Minnesota vs Dallas.
My pick is Minnesota Timberwolves +6.5

Good luck!

A very nice streak stadus! Seems you are betting against the team who gave you 2 consecutives.
Might be possible to cover this handicap as Dallas maybe tired now.

Just saying  but still depends from how the bench will play again, they are getting those points from everywhere, if they continue playing like this, very tough to predict as they are coming in each side of the court.

Best of Luck bettors!

The streak continues, on a 4 winning streak now. Wow! very impressive, please finish this preseason with a streak so you'll have a good start in the regular season. Congratulations on the winners, those who bet on the Timberwolves to win or to cover the spread.

Thank you, I was just lucky so I have this streak.

Betting again for tomorrow's game.
Game : Oklahoma Thunder vs Chicago Bulls.

My pick is Chicago Bulls -1.5

3820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 17, 2020, 01:29:22 PM
Agree, the McGregor and Mayweather fight is purely just for a show and money. Switching from one sport to another is difficult for any athletes, you cannot make a boxer out of an MMA player over night or even in a month. Mayweather's exhibition matches will not make too much hype and excitement as it was before he retired boxing.
But I guess Mayweather is afraid to get a loss in this fight, base on the article that I read (posted below) Mayweather was trained hard and risking his position or did not take his exhibition fight against Logan Paul. However, we will expect that Mayweather will win this fight but who knows if Logan Paul will luckily beat Mayweather that would be a big jackpot on him.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/boxing/article-9062923/Floyd-Mayweather-train-exhibition-fight-against-YouTuber-Logan-Paul.html

But let see what will happen, this fight will bring excitement even though just for money and entertainment.

The article only said that but Mayweather knows his opponent is just an amateur, he can play with him because Mayweather is not a kind of a fighter who would knock out an opponent early, maybe this will end until the last round but for sure Mayweather would win.

Articles are just hyping the fight, the writer could be paid to promote a fight, or the writer just trying to caught the attention of the people to read his article.

At the end of the game it will resulted as scripted and the winner of course was Mayweather, he would be announce as a winner via unanimous decision. This might be a total waste of time and money because first, the players or boxers doesn't fit according to the source Logan was an amateur and Mayweather were as what we know a player full of confidence. This article were only aiming to get a profit from readers in my own observation.

As a big fan of boxing, we already know that this is not going to be a good fight to see, it's not the usual one, but the fact that we are talking it here, it only says one thing, they are popular and Mayweather is making this bout more popular.

An exhibition fight is a no bearing fight, they can make a script and no one will complain, and as a promoter they have invested in this fight because they know what people think, and they believe they will make money from this fight, huge money.
