3801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos ordered by IBF on: January 18, 2021, 01:32:24 PM
Yeah. Even money-line odds are not yet available in popular crypto betting sites. I guess they're still in the process of analyzing the perfect odds for this match. Will just wait for it.
It's easy for them to analyze the betting odds since odds are based on what people think and people think here that Lopez will win easily.
Odds are already out : https://www.oddschecker.com/boxing/teofimo-lopez-v-george-kambosos-jnr/winner

In the list, only 3 fiat sites have offered this betting odds yet.

I checked only one but I'm sure it's also available in the other 2.

here's the odds if you want to bet now ; https://www.paddypower.com/boxing/boxing-matches/teofimo-lopez-v-george-kambosos-jnr-30222482
3802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 18, 2021, 01:10:10 PM
It may not make a big difference but $10 million or more is a big money, of course he can use that in the election but he doesn't really need that anyway as  he is already very popular, if he will run still in the senate, then there's no doubt that he will win, but for President, that's another story.

Nailed it, seems to me you are well acquainted with Philippine politics  Grin.

Families and true friends of Manny Pacquiao were urging him to retire from this sport but it seems that the fighting senator is hard-headed, passion for boxing is the only reason that comes out of his mouth why he can't leave by now.

As a fan the Pacman, i think he should already retire as father time is already catching him, that is evident on the Thurman fight.

But if ever he would fight again, Mayweather or Conor is an appropriate and very healthy opponent for him not Spence or Crawford as it would be suicide to do so.

Sometimes we thought they are too much for Manny, but if Manny will take that fight, we just have to trust him that he can win. He maybe the oldest champion now but he showed heart in his last fight, and that made him win, some people even did not believe that it was a split decision win as they thought Manny won clearly and it should be a unanimous decision.

Well, probably he is waiting for another big time lose before he retires, and at this moment, it seems like it's hard to see that since he is very smart in the ring, he was not as aggressive as before, he fight using his advantage.
3803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Large capital advantage? on: January 18, 2021, 12:00:40 PM
I just want to ask what are your thoughts on having a large capital in gambling?
Does the capital matter in gambling? Is there any advantage if you have a large capital?

Since for me, it is always the same even large or less capital. Having large capital will only help you to stay longer on the table unless your bet size is huge too.

I suggest you determine it first if you are already ready to risk big capital in gambling.

The type of game you will play matters a lot, that's the first consideration, if you are into sports betting, then I would say that's a good idea but the idea to use a big capital when you have not yet proven that you can win most of the time is a bad idea.

Start with a small capital, evaluate yourself (should be an honest evaluation), then you can go with big capital if you are convince enough of your capability.
3804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Local sports book, arbs? on: January 18, 2021, 11:47:13 AM
There are plenty of arbs to be found. There are a number of users on the forum who understand this. It is of course a bit easier to find online than you want to do at a local betting shop.
I think you are right, with hundreds or thousands of bookies online with different odds provider, you will certainly find an opportunity for arbitrage betting, however, what system will you use to be able to spot it on a timely manner, you need to be fast here and therefore you need an accurate system.
3805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 22bet fraud on: January 18, 2021, 11:05:28 AM
Same here, never heard of this site before. If you are familiar with the forum, you should head to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0 and see their ANN thread, if you don't see a site that was not listed there, you should already thinking that the site is not popular in crypto space.

When we speak of crypto, we have bitcointalk as the biggest forum, so I understand that you posted here, maybe you just discover the forum and you want to inform people about your experience and seek some help at the same time.
3806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why would anyone use a betting broker? Have you tried it? on: January 17, 2021, 10:39:48 PM
Maybe if gambling will be illegal in our country, but for now, I'm enjoying in gambling anonymously online, so broker is not really needed. I'm thankful that crypto casinos exists because it solves my problem in the past, when accessing to fiat casinos, my IP will be detected and it will prompt that they will not accept bets from my country.. maybe if crypto did not exist, I will be able to force myself to use this kind of service just to gamble.
3807  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What advice will you give to a beginner trader? on: January 17, 2021, 11:29:18 AM
If you are new to knowing I suggest reading to take classes. there you will get a lot of learning about trading because of course it becomes an important point that this business has a high risk.

  • Buy trading book
  • Join Class Trading

Don't just read on the internet, you will find it difficult to have insights that can be learned. I think the investment by taking the class is worth it because we can learn from the experts

Having a formal class would help, but honestly that's expensive, and I believe that most traders are just learning how to trade through online information they read. We in the generation where information are already shared online, if we are too resourceful, then for sure it will help us to succeed.

Trading is like a business, you take a high risk in doing it, therefore it requires the right knowledge before you risk a considerable amount, but you can always practice with small amount first, just increase along the way as you learn.
3808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 17, 2021, 10:54:33 AM
Anybody here looking forward to see the Lakers and Nets match up? with complete roster.

Must be a good NBA Finals if these two will eventually meet.

I like how Harden fitted to the team, but hopefully this kind of production will be consistent, one game is not enough to conclude that they have a solid chemistry. Remember, Irving has not been inserted in the line up yet, things could change if he is in the game, might as well trade him I guess if he is not effective to blend with these two MVPs.
Yeah, looks like he found his home again.
His high stats even in assists and rebounds proves he is trying to be better.
Well. I still don't like superpowered teams.  Grin Sorry about that.

I guess we will next time if the same thing will work out if Irving is inserted. In chemistry, there is no doubt with KD and Harden.
On the other side, the Rockets was left without a star and had a difficult time with the Spurs.

Harden had someone now whom he can trust, I just like how the way he handle the ball, he seemed to be a better PG than Kyrie Irving IMO.  I watch the live game but was not able to finish the game, what I like which I think the highlight of the game was the pass from Harden to Green and a great finish.
3809  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with 'Selling early' regrets? on: January 17, 2021, 09:59:49 AM
You sell something and later down the road, that goes multifold.

How do you deal with such things in positive way?

Just be realistic, you have to fully understand that we are playing a prediction game here, regardless on what method you use, there's still no way that you can guarantee to know the outcome. Accept your mistake and continue, since the market is very volatile, you'll surely gonna spot a lot of opportunity to re enter again and sell at a good profit once you learn and improve.
3810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 17, 2021, 09:48:02 AM
^^ Impressive debut, specially with the 30+ points, first player in NBA history to have that numbers in a debut. Nevertheless, this is just one game and we can't say if he really fits with the team or not. We have to wait till Kyrie gets back, in his debut his is the one bringing the ball so we don't know where him and Kyrie share being the point guard on the team. Notice the same though, all the teams are waiting for Harden for isolation, Durant get the most benefit shooting in the wing. Of course, a Lakers vs Nets will be one game we love to see.

That numbers might decrease when Irving is back, he will be holding the ball not Harden.

A triple double was really impressive, I didn't expect that he will easily jive with his teammates, what I don't like only is the 9 turnovers, that's costly if they are playing with other teams, the great teams in the NBA now.

3812  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will BTC go before the next leg up to 45-50k?? on: January 16, 2021, 10:46:05 AM
It is unknown. IMHO, we probably won't be seeing $20k again and the support has already been done on $30k. If you want to get an entry, this could be the right time.
It sits on $33k.

I heard it already before, people think bitcoin will not dump below $10k after it hit $19k because of the strong support, but we are all wrong, bitcoin even hit at $3000 level and with that, I can say that it's hard to predict the market.

If bitcoin hit's $20k, I think it's not a good entry point as it could dump lower as that's what we are suppose to see for a heavy correction.

Bet on your own prediction mate, I believe short term trade would work, if it dump a little, buy them and wait till it rise, I think we will see more of that before the price will eventually correct big time.
3813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 16, 2021, 10:06:16 AM
Predicting NBA games can be very difficult or maybe it’s because I’m not a full fan of NBA games. But I wish I can predict the games very well because lately I’m beginning to have interest in the game.

I suggest to watch all games or follow the facebook page of content creators who focus to give updates on NBA also watch youtube videos about summary of the game so that you will get an idea of which is strong team and which is not. And follow the official NBA website to get the latest updates since I' sure you will get a lot of information about the league and this one could help you get an idea on which team is best to place your bets if you want to gamble with it on sports books.

We have another NBA thread here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5091185.new#new

That's prediction from people who are constantly posting their picks in that certain thread, maybe you guys check that out, who knows that's what you are looking for.
3814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Changes of provably fair seeds in bitsler. on: January 15, 2021, 11:22:55 PM
After you change the seed, is your account still good? It's also my first time to read this kind of procedure, been using a lot of crypto sportsbook and I was never advice to change the seed as I thought seed only applies on games which are provably fair, not in sports since it doesn't use a system or something, you can see the sports like and you can check the score on reliable media outlet.
3815  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are people buying BTC @ $27000+ idiots? on: January 15, 2021, 10:44:24 PM
Since when bitcoin started being exchanged for real world currencies, no price has ever been "fair" for people. In 2011 3$ was too much; in 2012 10$ was too much, in 2017 19000$ was too much and I hope you are getting the message here. I guess we are bound to keep listening to these words over and over again.
If you value btc then buy it, do that only if you truly understand what you have in your hands. If you do not understand what bitcoin stands for, then avoid yourselves the pain.
Well said, bitcoin is not for everyone, it's only for people who understands its potential as an investment. For payment system, if you have fiat or other digital currencies where you are satisfied because you are not taking the risk, then there's no reason to buy bitcoin.

I have been in crypto for many years now and just like the newbie investors, I still make lots of mistakes but I'm still here because I trust bitcoin and its future. Now, you know what's in my mind? I just want to see it dump, to buy again!
3816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 15, 2021, 12:20:10 PM

It will really be a big test for Coach Nash on how to contain the big 3. Usually though, there could be argument that as Nash is a good player himself, even got a nod for a MVP, he knows that are the inside the mind of these 3 and probably he could understand them better and make a better fit for the team.

So yes there could be a big pressure on Nash right now, but he can pass the test and do hope to bring them in this year's Finals.

Not only to bring the team to the Finals, but to win the NBA Finals, that would be so remarkable for him being the first year coach of the Nets. There's a lot of inconsistency on the team now, but eventually they'll improve and it's good that they were complete this early so these 3 big names will have more time to build good chemistry.
3817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Local sports book, arbs? on: January 15, 2021, 12:02:16 PM
It's not that hard to prevent yourself from getting banned when you are winning, you can always use other people to bet for you. I think sports bookies would not banned you if you they getting equal action and they remain profitable, it's just normal that some are winning and some are losing, what's important is their operation is profitable.

In theory, this is easy, but in fact, using other people for this is almost unrealistic - identity checks are carried out at all stages of the cash flow - at bookmakers, in the payment system, at the bank. There are too many risks to trust someone with your money. The only option that is more or less normal is the help of relatives.

Someone you can trust, if you are not dealing with huge money here, I think bookies would not look into your personal life or investigate. This betting odds are available, you are not cheating, you just won because you are smart enough to do the arbitrage betting, and it doesn't mean when you do that, a specific bookies would lose because it's still the usual thing, you just get a little percent every time there's a result.

Bookies would not know that you are doing an arbitrage betting because you need to do it in different sportsbook, I don't see the risk of getting caught here and as a bettor, you don't always win on a certain bookie, and it's okay to lose in one bookie all the time and win on the other, besides you are doing an arbitrage betting, you'll only gain some percentage regardless of the outcome.
3818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 11, 2021, 10:54:49 PM
I'm glad OP put a poll, I just noticed now.

I voted for the sixers because they have a good start, they have struggled a bit now but they'll come back and start winning.
They are completely a different team now, I know there are some doubters but I hope to prove them wrong.

Just FYI, lakers leading the poll with 75% of the votes.
3819  Economy / Gambling / Re: Telegram Betting group : Proven Winning tipster on: January 11, 2021, 02:43:46 PM
Wow, can you elaborate more what you are offering? is it sports betting, and what are the games?

Good if you don't charge any, but the question is, how profitable you are so far, and what's the purpose of giving free tips if you are already profitable?
Why not just keep it in silent and continue making money? I don't want to judge but this kind of approach looks sketchy to me.

I think you can start with some promotion here, I'm afraid you'll not be able to get gamblers here.

other's suggested to escrow the reward, for a gambling site it's not necessary as long as you have a good reputation.
