3801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Crypto - Part 2 - Content Creation Platforms - Earn from Writing on: April 06, 2020, 06:11:12 AM
Hello everyone.

I have recently started writing articles on how people can earn crypto without investing or mining. This part focuses on blogging platforms that earn you crypto. The link to the article is below if you are interested.

https://www.publish0x.com/crypto-101/how-to-earn-crypto-part-2-content-creation-platforms-earn-fr-xqpqgq?a=GELe3POa69

Do you use any of these platforms? and what are you thoughts on them? If you wish to sign up to any of the platforms, all the links are in the article. Thanks for the feedback.

Excellent content! I just checked your portfolio and it seems huge since the time you have started with Publish0x - almost from February 2019. But the amou t of earning you are making from here, doesn't look good! Mostly are in cents and I don't see much articles that has reached a dollar value. Are you happy with it? I have checked few of your articles, and they are good in quality. Why don't you properly monetize your writing skill?

I would suggest you to start with a crypto news website and monetize that website properly with ads. This way you will earn money money. We can enter into a partnership as I have been creating wordpress blogs since a long time and have a good knowledge about monetizing such websites. If you really like to create more revenue streams with the power of your writing, shoot me a PM and then we can speak.

3802  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Crypto Jobs 2020 on: April 06, 2020, 05:42:39 AM
I think this thread is a bit offtopic, these 50-100 jobs have zero global significance, so it would be more suitable for boards like Services or Project Development or Bitcoin Discussion. Anyway, I know from practice that jobs are very scarce in crypto field, and now with a lot of people getting unemployed due to the virus, there will be even more competition for the jobs that we have.

True! Such number of jobs don't have any global significance. However, we have to remember that blockchain technology is just 11 years old and it started gaining traction since 2018 only. Probably, what we are seeing right now is just the tip of the iceberg. Linkedin also created a section for blockchain related jobs. See the link below,

https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/blockchain-jobs?

So we can safely assume that blockchain releted jobs will see higher momentum in near future once this COVID-19 crisis is over. Whatever we are seeing in the market now, is not the actual picture of the economy. This crisis is temporary and once economy is back to track, a lot of unemployed people will find their way to employment.
3803  Economy / Speculation / Re: With Effect On global economy, will Covid 19 affect expected Bitcoin Halving? on: April 05, 2020, 04:00:58 PM
With the advent of the Corona Virus otherwise known as Covid 19 global Pandemic, will it impact negatively on the eagerly expected Bitcoin Halving come May 2020? For me I have watched closely,  the movement of bitcoin from the bearish to bullish, back  and forth. Could it be worse with this pandemic? The covid 19 pandemic has undoubtedly affected global economy and I believe crypto will not be an exception. What's your take?

Ideally, we could have seen an uptrend in bitcoin price already due to the upcoming halving. However, COVID-19 actually messed up all calculations for crypto market as well as for the real world stock market. If we look at the history, you will see bitcoin has gained a good percentage after every halving events that happened in past. You can refer to the below article to know it better,

https://hackernoon.com/will-bitcoin-skyrocket-after-the-2020-halving-like-in-2016-b61c6568debb

But at this current situation, it looks really really hard to see a sustainable uptrend in bitcoin price. Even though speculating, but I don't think we will be able to see a sustained growth before September 2020.

We all know about the whistle blower doctor who was labelled liar for spreading rumors about the COVID -19

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/mar/20/chinese-inquiry-exonerates-coronavirus-whistleblower-doctor-li-wenliang

When this could have been prevented right at the start !

Yes, but you can't really compare China with the rest of the world. China has been living under dictatorship since decades and they have now accepted their fate! I strongly believe, that the death numbers quoted by China is not even near to the actual deaths. But thankfully, that's not the case in many other countries because majority of the governments are trying hard to fight with this real threat with utmost sincerity.

Quote
Markets are dying , some countries are leaning towards making heard immunity because now the matter is out of their hands.

We have had amazing revolutions over the years and I do think we need one right now , otherwise we won't survive for long enough.

You need to understand that it is temporary. Markets are dying because the major production industries are all shut. These industries are the mass recruiters so they are firing people in big numbers. But as soon as the COVID-19 threat is vanished, it won't take longer before the market is back to its normal course. The number of recruitments will go up and the market will find its own way to shine again.

I don't think bitcoin can be a revolution here at this stage. People will get into crypto market only if they have money in hand, which is clearly not the case. That's the reason why we are seeing crypto market is mostly in red.

I am hopeful that we will soon see the issue is over and we will be back to our daily routine in no time! Let's just hope for the best and accumulate more bitcoins if you can at this moment.
3805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Using Football Prediction Sites on: April 02, 2020, 07:16:43 PM
Opps, I might have started a wrong post.

They seems to have limited games right now and I couldn't give more updates as my sportsbook does not cover those matches.

Just want to ask for more suggestion.

Market is bad buddies, any other HYIP recommendation?

 Grin

Lol! Do you really think that HYIPs gonna make you money?? These are ponzi and ponzis are here to scam people. They will never work for you, rather they will work against you. If you really want to make money sincerely, try crypto trading! Initial hiccups will be there, but eventually you will learn to ride the wave and make money out of it.

Also the betting tips services are nothing but a hoax. Never blindly use such kind of services. If they have the ability to provide correct predictions, they would have used it with their own money. They would have never sold it in the market. You look very new in the online money making world so beware of such risks.
3806  Economy / Economics / Re: New World: Global or National? Governance with Blockchain on: April 02, 2020, 05:45:10 PM
Exactly that is the reason we will never see blockchain in the governance. If everything within government become transparent, how the power mongers will function?? How the bureaucrats will make money? How the politicians will take the juice out of the economy?? How the police force will indulge in illegal practices?? Do you understand the gravity of this issue??

Maybe not everything has to be decentralized. Transformation must be slow but strong. Some adjustments can be made by the central authority. / Thank you for your comment.

You will never see a complete decentralized governance ever in your life. Because there are so many things in an efficient governance that needs to remain as classified. Some progressive governments like Japan or Germany probably will adopt the blockchain for better and transparent governance in some areas but largely you won't see much changes from majority of the other governments.

I have worked with government and beaurocrats earlier in my life. I have a macro level idea on how the system works in third world countries. Transparency is a big no-no in government offices!
3807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Satoshi theory? Deceased or alive & well on: April 02, 2020, 03:25:45 PM
What is your Satoshi theory?

Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on Satoshi Nakamoto.

If he's not with us today, I'm sure he'd be appalled with the amount of money being printed by governments/central banks.

One of his legendary quotes are:

"If you don’t believe it or don’t get it, I don’t have the time to try to convince you, sorry."

Is he deceased? Did he pass away from Cancer or some other grave illness?

We don't know whether he is alive or dead, neither we want to know.

BTW, there's a new theory in the market about Wei Dai being Satoshi Nakamoto. Read below,

https://news.bitcoin.com/many-facts-wei-dai-being-satoshi/

Nothing out of the box like any other Satoshi claims but you won't feel bored while reading!

I have already invested 3 BTC in one good project, and I am getting regularly dividends every week in last 35 weeks, so I am VERY happy there. If somebody wants to know more about it, those personal messages I will read and reply when I can.

What is stopping you from posting the details here??

If you think it is good and genuinely pays money to the investors, what's the problem??

Also do you have a guarantee that your program will not run away with people's money after some time?

I don't know if it's true or not, but if it's true - it's a grave concern for the human race in general. But there are some counter arguments as well. Read the below article,

Bank can print 999,999 out of 1 dollar, that's mean bank purchasing power now is $999,999 while your purchasing power is still $1

This thread is kinda funny! Hi OP, can you please let me know how did you reach the above calculation?? I don't understand how banks or governments can print 999,999 out of 1 dollar.

FED rate cut and eventually decreasing to zero - usually happens when government wants to provide a stimulus to the market. It helps the market to access super-cheap loans as well as super-cheap repayments. It ensures more money stays with the people so that the demand can be increased in the market. If demand increases, productions industries will have more orders and if they have more orders, more people will find employment. This is how it works in an economy! Zero rate does not entails banks to print more money!

Lol! Another plus token copy that lures people with AI enabled automated trading stories. I am really surprised how they actually manage to get investments from various parts of the world! What makes people believe that some website can make them such huge amount of money! What's the psychology behind it?

Utter nonsense!
3812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gamification Works in the iGaming Industry? on: April 01, 2020, 04:57:13 PM
Almost every online casinos are using this method in one or other ways. Probably not at a huge level, but at least some form of gamification is there.

There are many websites, which offers a free "wheel of luck" to every non-registered visitors to try their luck, any winning can be added to their account automatically if they decides to register an account. It definitely increases engagement as well as the conversation ration significantly.

I have seen many websites who provides bonus bets to the active players if they reach a certain number of bets and so on. So Gamification to attract new players and to retain old players are already available.

I don't want to highlight any particular website because you will find it almost everywhere!
3813  Local / India / Re: Current status of Indian Crypto exchanges on: April 01, 2020, 03:08:56 PM
I don't think anyone apart from the exchange owners will have any insight on those data points. Both WazirX and Unocin owners are very active in Twitter. You can ask them directly and I don't think they will have any issue in answering.

Wazirx: https://twitter.com/NischalShetty
Unocoin: https://twitter.com/Unocoin

Hope this helps!
3814  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy is dying but market prices are going up? on: April 01, 2020, 02:29:55 PM
Op, you have already given the answer - the market is rebounding partly because of the external stimulus injected by the government. Government is providing additional liquidity to the market as well as to the companies. That's why we see this kind of rebounding.

Also, there is something called "fair value" in stock market. We know a lot of companies had to stop production because of this pandemic so their stocks are trading below their "fair valuation".

But we all know that the situation is temporary and these companies will start operating as soon as this is gone. So people with money, are buying stocks of such companies while they are cheap. Such kind of buying is also another reason why the market is rebounding.

Will countries close their borders now? Or will they fight together against common threats?

Yes - is the answer to both of these questions. Countries have already closed their borders and imposed travel ban. At the same time, all countries are fighting their own fight against this pandemic. Rich countries are helping poor countries to get out of this situation. So the fight is everywhere to save the human race!

Quote
In short, every sector and habit that brought nations together started to shake. I think the world of the future is left to nationalists. How about you? What do you think? Maybe I'm wrong. Perhaps states will understand that they live on the same ship in the world. They will develop common responses to common threats. (Global Warming, Environmental Pollution, Population Growth, International Terrorism, Epidemic Diseases...) They will try to make the world more livable together. Maybe...

Extreme Nationalism = fascism!

US chosen Trump as their president and India chosen Modi as their Prime Minister. Both of these incidents denotes that world has already seen a rise in the Nationalist power which eventually lead to fascism, less in US but prominently in India!

I believe, we have reached such a time where a global force is needed to fight the human problem with a human way! But it looks difficult because the fascist forces are ruling the major economies, US, China, India. All of these countries are being ruled under various levels of dictatorship who came to the power by spreading hatred towards a particular religious minority. We can just hope for the best!

“Governance encompasses the system by which an organisation is controlled and operates, and the mechanisms by which it, and its people, are held to account.”* Governance must be used in public administration, even if the new world is national. Enabling people to participate fairly in the system is only possible with Blockchain system. A more decentralized world is waiting for us in the future.

Exactly that is the reason we will never see blockchain in the governance. If everything within government become transparent, how the power mongers will function?? How the bureaucrats will make money? How the politicians will take the juice out of the economy?? How the police force will indulge in illegal practices?? Let's look at the below steps:
1. I have one million dollar at my house
2. I post an ad to my local newspaper about it
3. Thief came to my house and stole that money
4. Now I blame FED as FED is a scam!

Was this a part of April 1st  Cheesy I see you shared no link here. Also, I googled it and got no source which make me sure that it was a part of April fool. If not, please share an authentic link. It will be a good news for us.

You can check the below link:
https://news.bitcoin.com/binance-acquire-coinmarketcap-com-400m-cash-stock-deal/

The acquisition doesn't make sense a lot of people for obvious reasons. Some are thinking that crypto market would enter into monopoly through acquisition. However, it will make sense if you know that CMC had enjoyed 207 million web traffic in last 6 months. Can you think the amount Binance would make if they can properly monetize this huge amount of traffic?

It's definitely a April fools day prank from CMC and a good one! But the way the world is moving towards during this COVID-19 pandemic, I wouldn't be surprised if a scammer decides to open a similar coin like Corona coin.

Happy all-fools-day folks! Have a good one!

I remember Atari since I was a kid and I was playing their video games.

I really trust this brand.

I really can't wait to see their crypto.

Atari is planning to enter the online crypto casino business so they are planning for two tokens along with an online casino.

Official announcement:
https://www.atari.com/iconic-atari%ef%b8%8f-properties-are-headed-to-the-revolutionary-blockchain-based-gaming-metaverse-the-sandbox/

The pre-sale is already live. It's indeed great to see such known brands are showing interest in crypto market. It will certainly increase the credibility of the "somewhat dead" ICO market!
3820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recognize bitcoin based on: March 31, 2020, 05:07:54 PM
How do i recognize if any coin is Bitcoin based?

If you are talking about the concept, then the entire crypto market is based on the concept of bitcoin. There are coins who have added extra features to the basic concept of bitcoin but bitcoin is the pioneer cryptocurrency.

But please specify what do you mean by "based on bitcoin". It will help us to provide "to-the-point" answer!
