3801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 31, 2021, 09:25:53 PM
I'm really excited for later.
Will it be the Nuggets to stop the streak? Odds are not that far.
Nuggets ML for me.

Congrats in advance, Nuggets seems to be in control of this game. Jokic has been killing it thus far, already at 22 points now, still in the 2nd quarter. Damn Nuggets, this is a very early game in my timezone, I was not able to bet on this and I could not take them live now due to a big lead.

I just won Houston rocket at this time. what the 1 point portland, Damian Lillard going to the buzzer beater, In the last shot (3 points) he bring the portland to be a winner. damn!.

That's what you called a real superstar, he does not panic and he never give up. There was only few seconds left in the clock and Bulls had a good lead but he never give up, he made 2 3 point shot to win the game, Lillard the man.
Imagine on having that 5 point lead by Bulls on last 24.5 seconds on the last quarter but they do still able to close it out with 2 3's in 11.5 seconds left on the game.
It was a tough shot but that jump ball decision did really give out some chance for them to have the possession of the ball.
Damn Lillard! I lost my bet.  Cry

Sorry to hear that, better luck next time game, sometimes things really came out unexpected, just like this game. If I bet on the Bulls, I would be too confident already that they'll win with that few seconds, but really 'sh*t happens"... lol

Looks like people are not happy with the trade of CJ Perez to the SMB.
Whether you are a SMB fan or not, you know that this trade is very unfair and the reason of DYIP management isn't enough to justify their actions.

A star player in the future being traded with an exchange of 3 bench players and one draft pick?? I don't see the "real" reason behind this. Maybe the DYIP management wanted to free some salary because Perez' salary is quite high already for them and they want to have rookies that obviously have a lower salary.

I'm an SMB fan and I will be but this trade is unfair. Pick one of their star players too and add Pessumal at least then it will be a fair trade.

Pessumal is not a star of the team.. unfortunately big teams can get what they want because they have a high salary cap and they can offer great salary to their players, and of course players could likely get a bonus or incentives as they have a chance of getting into the finals and win.

3805  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Delta App alternatives? on: January 31, 2021, 10:56:02 AM
I have uninstalled my delta app a long time ago because I found blockfolio more attractive to the eyes and has more complete information.

Just try blockfolio, it's neat and it's accurate as well. Also, adding CoinStats, it's a decent tracker too.
3806  Economy / Speculation / Re: FUDS are big Confirmations that were in a Bull Market!!!!!! on: January 30, 2021, 12:43:57 PM
Question is, is there is FUD already?

I think the market is still bullish until now, where there's a dump, we tend to think that it's just a correction.
There more bullish sentiment now compared to bearish because we believe that the institutional investors makes the market stronger.

Let's enjoy the bullish market as this does not happen everyday, the bear season will come and we have to also accept that possibility.

They have an ANN thread as mentioned by the above poster, but there's no representative that will answer queries or who is updating the thread. The best thing to do is just to send them an email or contact their support, I believe they are a regulated site and they have the responsibility to handle concerns of their clients.
3808  Economy / Speculation / Re: $80k within 6 weeks, new ATH October 2021 on: January 29, 2021, 12:59:26 PM
So, is this prediction still on since we have been a major move today as far as the price goes?

As others have pointed out, in the last three weeks, it seems that bitcoin is on the consolidation phase and now we have seen the break out run that we are all been waiting for. Next target for this rally is $40k-$50k now, easily achievable within the next week or before the end of February if FOMO will sets in again.

19% increase now, bitcoin heading to $40k again, maybe this time it will finally succeed to have a new ATH again.

Very bullish today, maybe we have to thank DOGECOIN for creating a FOMO in the market?
DOGE still the most profitable today with 400% increase.  Grin
3809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 29, 2021, 12:23:11 PM

Lakers is a good team, if this will be realized, his chance of getting a championship will be close to 70% as the Lakers are the favorites this season.

I like the Clippers more, they are not changing their roster now and they are improving as we can see. Lakers maybe felt that there are still lacking in the line up, so they are trying to get an all star player and a good 3 point shooting for the team.

Westbrook soon will be the leader of the team, Wizards will become an old OKC where westbrook getting triple double for stat padding.  Grin

I also think about LA Clipers and LA Lakers gonna be close to the NBA finals, but don't forget the Nets guys, If we have a concentrate Kyrie Irving with a good Harden and Durant versions, I bet they will be into the finals for sure. By the other hand, pay attention on Utah Jazz, they are pushing hard and a very nice performance in the latest games.

Nets despite winning games but they are not so convincing, they have a weakness and that is their defense and rebounding.

Lakers and Clippers have already corrected their weakness, their line up seems to be a championship ready, so I'm backing on them than the Nets.
3810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 28, 2021, 12:07:04 PM
I guess I'm going with the Mavericks here, Mitchell has been the best player of the team, when a best player of a team is out and they are playing against a playoff team, that's an automatic bet to the opponent for me. Mavericks is in a 2 losing streak, they might win this one and true they have an advantage even in the road.  Like the MAVS here!

Utah Jazz is also a playoff team. Mitchell only scored 9 points on their last game. Gobert, Conley, O'neale, and Clarkson explode on that game. Even Mitchell will be out, Utah Jazz is still a tough opponent so Mavericks should not be comfortable on that game.

Like you, I'm with Mavericks here. Been a fan of Kristap Porzingis here since his New York days.
Utah Jazz won this game.

I'm starting to Jazz and it's getting interested on their side. Lakers got 1 more lose than them which makes them to be the top 1 as of the moment on the West.

Utah Jazz already in the number 1 in the West, W10 streak and 14-4 standing, that's an impressive run by tha Jazz.

The ranking really looks surprising, Jazz is not a top 3 team in the West per betting odds on NBA Futures.

I think Alaska realized it too late and they're trying to offer him 2 years contract then. But that wouldn't change his mind I guess.
Why 2 years of contract? Why make it 3?
I don't know what the max year contract for a PBA player but I see some players getting signed for 3 yeas, probably that's the max, so why can't the Alaska give that to Manuel?
I don't know what's with them. They seem to be reliable with a 2-year contract to Manuel and don't think he should get on board for a longer contract.
About the longest or max contract in history, I think that's Duremdes and with our current time. I haven't seen someone max more than 3 years too.

I think the max year is only 3 years, I dig a little and see this news, it's Fajardo signed a 3 year deal with the SMB, but this news was in 2015 and I think Fajardo is still already the best player in the PBA that time.

Also, speaking of salary, we can check their monthly salary thru this page.

3813  Economy / Speculation / Re: $80k within 6 weeks, new ATH October 2021 on: January 24, 2021, 09:14:21 AM
Definitely not this month, when it clearly has seen a lot of people take profit above $40k and wanting to buy the dip again below 35k. Speculators looking at 100k? Yeah, sounds possible, but they shouldn't be expecting it any time soon, I would say not even this year, because there are many, many stops along the way.
As I said in topic 2 weeks ago, the rise to a price like $80k is not going to happen in weeks but also it won't be more than a year like you are suggesting here. $80k and $100k are not really big price targets, we were seeing much bigger rises in the first quarter of 2017, if anything it should be bigger this year with all the attention bitcoin is receiving from institutional investors.

I guess bitcoin will not move that high if we will not experience a big correction first.
The institutional money is already their but we always see this market to dump big time after a bull run, and i think this year is no exception.

$80k - $100k might be big for now but once the price is on uptrend movement, we will forget we have thought of that.

Thing is, it's just in our mind, we forget that bitcoin is based on supply and demand so price has no limit.
3814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did the bitcoin fall? on: January 24, 2021, 08:50:46 AM
Bitcoin’s unexpected 11% decline has led it to hit its ultimate lowest level for the past three weeks as of 21st Thursday. I found and interesting article on this, what is your opinion? Let me know.

Source:
https://mycryptoparadise.com/bitcoin-refutes-claims-of-a-double-spend-flaw-responsible-for-the-cryptocurrencys-11-decline/

Unexpected, seriously?

Bitcoin has a lot of bettors on it, some want to short it so a dump is normal, and besides bitcoin is a high volatile asset, there's no way it's called that way if the market does not fluctuate big time, so don't get surprise, because of the huge pump, a dump or a correction is what we are witnessing now.

If you believe the justice system is unfair, then the answer is not fair.

We are not to judge his offense or crime, we have the right person to do that and they have a decision, therefore it should be respected if you believe that the justice system in such place is fair.

The word he does not hurt anyone, I just don't get it but I trust those who make a verdict anyway.

Lessoned learn, don't use the money that you can't afford to use, especially not yours.

3817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Broner vs Campa Feb 13 on: January 11, 2021, 05:44:12 AM
The match is almost a gift for Broner who suffer losses from the hands of the top boxers in the welterweight division, this is a gift for him to comeback from an unknown fighter who has no experience fighting outside of Mexico, this should be an easy fight for him, if he losses the money stop for Broner as he will likely retire from boxing.
I wouldn't say it's exactly a gift for Broner, but obviously he has the tool and the advantage here. One thing that can go with Campa is that he is unknown and might be taken lightly by Adrien or even by the boxing public.

No pressures on him, but fight his own fight. And even if Broner losses, I don't think he will retire, he still still continue to go on and make some decent money fighting new and upcoming fighter in the welterweight division.

I can say this is just an even fight, yeah, Broner is good but he hasn't been doing well in the previous years. His opponent may not be too popular unlike him but he has a great record and I believe that Broner has to make himself ready again and don't underestimate an opponent again.

Like the whole hood is on him!

3819  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you buying right now ? on: January 06, 2021, 09:10:28 AM
Buying? I guess that's not the right thing to do.

Bitcoin is in bull run, we should not be buying, instead we should be selling and don't be greedy.
It's okay to aim more, but we should set some target to sell, avoid being greedy so we will not regret.

Actually it's still possible that the price will continue to rise, but there's more possibility that it will fall down again.

Is the next season will still be in the bubble?

It has yet to be decided by the league. Maybe next month or after the PBA Rookie draft, we can get an update about it.

They are following the NBA's movement so maybe there will be no bubble set up anymore but just a strict health protocol again and the usual, with no-audience.
Yeah, there's also following the movement of NBA so the basic move that they might do next is to go back to the normal season. But still, that's undecided and we have to wait.
Thanks for the answer mate and also to those who have given some opinions and answers too about what I've asked.

According to the post I read here, the next season will start this April, there's still 3 months to wait before we will finally see PBA resume. Let's make an update of the news, maybe it will return by March or next month, at least we know.

Below are the key dates for the 46th PBA season minus the awarding night, don't know when they would award the Best Player of the Conference in the bubble. Three more months to go and we can see our dear PBA back in action again that if everything go smoothly as plan.

That's for a more specific information provide, yes, it's still far but time flies, we will see the PBA resume soon.

Let's their injuries heal and be back to their shape, the long period of rest will give them enough time to be back in share and more healthy as the PBA season starts. Do you happen to know the name of the conference PBA will play when the season opened up?
