The Barcelona coach seems determined to bring Salah to Barcelona and he has become his main target, according to this report: https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1334859/Liverpool-transfer-news-Barcelona-Mohamed-Salah-top-target-Sadio-Mane-latest-gossip

Do you think this transfer is possible in the near future and that Liverpool could let Salah into Barcelona?
Personally, I think that would be a very bad decision for Liverpool and I hope that will not happen.

in the future,
but not in the near future.
They sold Suarez, and then Coutinho to Barcelona. 2 players that played well and became fans favorite at that moment.
Not to mention, they sold Sterling too.
no players bigger than the club.
Also, Klopp is a genius, I believe that he himself is the 50% part of this Liverpool side. No solah, no problem (I mean in the future  Grin).

@TedMosby it’s a ploy from the Barcelona coach as he knows that he won’t be getting any star player this season, but to keep the fans happy he’ll keep saying that they targeted many big player’s but their clubs refused to sell.

Also next year Salah would be 29 year’s, and if Barcelona offered 100 million for him then I’m sure that Liverpool will happily sell him, but the important thing to note here is that Koeman is not guaranteed to remain as the head Barcelona’s coach next year, hence only time will tell if Koeman can get Salah or no.

Barcelona presidential candidate Victor Font has sensationally claimed he will sack Ronald Koeman regardless of how well he performs and replace him with club legend Xavi if he is elected next year

12/09 is when the season starts...
I have noticed that the Spanish league transfer market this season is nothing special and Messi did not leave Barca. btw, I will always support Real Madrid.

Indeed, the transfer market this season is not very interesting for the Spanish league. If only, Messi left Barca this season. Maybe it will make a scene. But unfortunately only issues and issues.

@qomarian95 I believe that this is the calm before the storm, because in the next summer transfer window both the teams will spend big and buy top class player’s.

Also Barcelona doesn’t wish to spend much now because Koeman only has time till March, because once the elections take place, and if the opposition candidate wins then he’ll be sacking Koeman, therefore spending too much money on transfers now doesn’t make sense from their point of view.

Furthermore Real Madrid want Mbappé and Pogba and both of them are not available this year, hence they’re saving their money for next year’s transfer window to purchase them.

what's the best way to cheer up our heroes on the pitch to let them know we've got love for them and the team or perhaps, how to help them out their minds in the game?
You can show your support on them through social media. If they have an official twitter handle or Facebook page, you can always tweet or comment on their accounts and tell them how much you support them in this covid19 times.

I've done this before with my favorite athletes but not with soccer. And once, they've read your encouraging words and how you really are supporting them, it's a boost for them already.

That's what I was thinking. But of course, it is still different when you are in arena. But will not have this actual audience for quite a while. Just accept that this is our new normal for now, and this is for the benefit of us. We can always show support thru socmed for the time being. Truly, the world is changing!

@Smartvirus the best way to cheer for them is to be on Twitter, and tweet to your favourite stars pre and post the match, and what makes twitter standout is that you can interact with other fans too during a live match. Furthermore fans will soon be allowed in the stadium by October, and though the entire stadiums won’t be filled just yet, I believe that it’s a  positive news for all the fans who’re eager to cheer for their team from the stands.

Quote

As it stands, there will be no fans attending Premier League matches that begin on September 12, but there are tentative plans to re-introduce supporters starting early October. Clubs such as Arsenal have used October 3 as a potential date to allow a certain number of fans to attend games

@rohitgames this is not the first time that I’m reading about FJ withdrawals problems, and it probably won’t be the last too because they have clarified in the past that all withdrawals are subject to standard protocols. Furthermore I consider them as a legit casino because even though they pay late, they’ll release your funds if you’re a legit user, and you can also read justpoor story where he had complained about a delay in withdrawal of 2000+ LTC, but eventually FJ paid him.

Van Dijk's injury (Goal.com)

It can be not a serious injury for Van Dijk and Liverpool won't be affected too bad from it but I see it as a warning for them. Van Dijk is very important for Liverpool and the matter is last 2 seasons he did not get too many injuries and no serious injury. It has been good for him and Liverpool last 2 seasons.

I can not imagine how Liverpool's defense system will be if Van Dijk will be off 3 or 6 months. I don't know and from their transfer strategies, they looks very confident on their squad and substitutes, no good plans to improve their defense system or have a good substitute for Van Dijk.

Manchester City and Chelsea by now of the transfer season, they did not make big transfers for defenders. It seems in the new season, we will have more open games.

Dude that was weeks ago, he only got a small cut to his head I think. Every team would suffer if they lose their best defender for a long period. Real suffer when Ramos is out, Man City still struggle with no Kompany. There are not too many out there who could make you not miss VVD.

Football is back today, I’m excited.

@DeathAngel yea that injury he had suffered few days ago, and now I believe he should be fit to play for Liverpool so no need to worry about his fitness. Also Manchester United fans might have got a glimpse about what they should expect from their team, as Manchester United were beaten 1 - 0 by Aston Villa in a friendly fixture.

3806  Economy / Economics / Chimerica - can it actually decouple and go it separate ways? on: September 12, 2020, 01:21:51 PM
If you’re not aware then Chimerica in economic terms means that China is the production house, and America is a Tech headquarter and they both are operating together for mutual benefits. However lately both the Presidential candidates have assured to decouple, and produce all goods in America. Further we all would remember that Apple has time and time said that producing in America would not be possible, but if the winning candidate walks the talk then this decouple could have major ramifications for the US companies who produce their goods in China. What are your thoughts on this, do you believe that a decouple between these two global power houses is actually possible?.

Quote

Chimerica” – with China as the global “workshop” and the US as the tech “headquarters” of the world. The old hope that this economic interdependence would prevent political conflict has been shattered. Instead, deep economic integration has increased the stakes: the core of the world economy could fall apart.

Quote

“Decoupling” has become the new buzzword to describe the possibility of an economic break-up between the US and China. Trump, too, has recently added it to his rhetorical arsenal. Decoupling makes it sound as if the disintegration of the world’s two largest economies could be done in one simple step – like disconnecting the coupling between two wagons of a train. This couldn’t be further from the truth.

In 2012, Barack Obama asked Steve Jobs whether the iPhone could be produced in the US. Jobs answered with a plain no, and the difficulties likely remain in place today. Chinese government institutions, local business partners and multinational corporations have built supply chains in China since the late 1980s. Production sites are sustained by gigantic infrastructure developments, and draw from China’s roughly 300 million migrant workers, many of whom live in dormitories at the edge of the assembly line.

3807  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Petition To Prosecute Pelosi Draws Thousands Of Signatures on: September 12, 2020, 10:03:50 AM
Actually, the petition is rather small so far. But depending on how serious her damage to the salon owner is, it might be worth it. Seems she is not even owning up to her mistake. Check the site for emphasis, links, and a video.

Petition To Prosecute Pelosi Draws Thousands Of Signatures

At time of writing, the petition hosted at media action network has garnered over 25,000 signatures.

The petition, addressed to SF Police Chief William Scot, states:

Laws aren't just for the "little people."

Not only did Nancy Pelosi knowingly violate health ordinances, but just destroyed a business because she couldn't take a ounce of responsibility.

The salon owner gets death threats, while Pelosi has paid ZERO price for her hypocrisy.

At a very minimum, Nancy Pelosi must be prosecuted by San Francisco for her flaunting of COVID regulations. Now!

The footage of Pelosi was leaked last week, showing her walking around the salon without a face mask. All the while 'ordinary' people are not even allowed to go to hair appointments because salons are still all closed in SF under coronavirus rules.

After several days, instead of apologising, Pelosi claimed that she had been "set up" by the owner of the salon.

"I take responsibility for trusting the word of the neighborhood salon that I've been to over the years many times, and when they said, 'We're able to accommodate people one person at a time.' I trusted that," Pelosi told reporters.

"So I take responsibility for falling for a setup. And that's all I'm going to say on that," Pelosi declared, even adding "I think that this salon owes me an apology, for setting me up."

If ever there was a time for the old adage 'one rule for them, another for everyone else' it is now. Pelosi's reaction also betrays how over privileged and out of touch Democrats have become.

Cool

@BADecker according to the article you have shared it says that salons were supposed to be shut, so how did the owner manage to open it for Pelosi?, and most importantly why did Pelosi visit an salon when the rules required that the salons be kept shut. Furthermore what has happened with the salon owner is really bad, but in my opinion both are to be blamed for violating covid laws, and both deserve to be punished by the authorities.

OP updated - congratulations to the US Open finalists:

Zverev vs Thiem

I would say Osaka and Thiem would be eventual winners.

@JollyGood Zverev vs Thiem is the dream finale for this tournament, and I believe that this match will be really long, because both will badly want to win this tournament, and they won’t give up till the very end. Also I agree with your prediction as I too believe that Thiem has an excellent chance of winning this tournament, but then again we should not underestimate Zverev too because he definitely has the potential to defeat Thiem.

United has already reached its maximum with Ole i think. I don't believe MU reaching something more than 5-6 place this year

@tumis yea it’s quiet possible that Manchester United may finish outside top 4, because of their horrible transfer strategy where they bought a midfielder despite having so many midfielders already playing for them. Furthermore their obsession with Sancho is ruining their transfer buisness, and if they don’t land him then I believe that Manchester United won’t even qualify for the Europa League.

Is anyone gambling on this match? After winning the T20I series England seems on the top although last match win should give some confidence to Australian squad.

I am off to watch the match and will update if I feel writing :-D

I am not watching it live on TV but following it on cric-info only for now. Australia are 259-6 and they have still 5 overs left in their innings. If they could take the score close to 290 and then bowl well, they may still stand a chance in the match but for now England are dominating this match.

Australia have scored 290.it is not a bad total from Australia team .   .They played well . Maxwell and Marsh played quite better today . But England's team is slightly better than Australia  . I think this score is not enough to beat England. If we look at the statistics of the last 10 matches between Australia and England , England has won 8 match . On the other hand , if Australia could have scored more than 310 , England would have been under a lot of pressure .Lets see who will win th match . My prediction is , England can easily wins the match .

@Royse777 just started watching the match now and England are chasing a target of 295 runs, and they have already lost the wicket of Roy which should boost Australia’s confidence. @Swordsoffreedom England have the home advantage against Australia, and if England’s batman’s manage to make solid partnerships then Australia will be in trouble, however it’s too early to predict that Australia will loose this match.

with all the players in the quarantine, this could be a chance for Lens to make something tonight against PSG
PSG will be without seven players, Mbappe, Neymar, Navas included, and their title in Ligue 1 is almost secured before start, so their second team could afford few slips without even noticing in the score at the end of the season, and this could be one like that, quote is rising on PSG, and falling down on Lens, but one can still catch it @5

did not quoted myself earlier, but this was a heavy hit for me yesterday, at quote 5, Lens won the match 1:0

@casperBGD your wishes came true as Lens beat PSG by scoring the only goal of the match, and indeed PSG sorely missed their important player’s because had they been on the pitch then we would have witnessed a totally different result. Furthermore the blame also lies on PSG goal keeper for playing that silly pass, which allowed Ganago to score and claim victory for his team.

3812  Economy / Economics / UK economy continues to rebound upwards - but yet to cross pre covid levels. on: September 11, 2020, 10:00:55 AM
I wasn’t expecting UK’s economy to rebound back so soon, but it seems that their economy has been rising upwards for the third straight month, and in July it rose by 6.6% which is a big positive sign for UK’s citizens, however it’s pertinent to note that their economy has yet to breach the pre covid levels.

Furthermore the scheme to retain jobs during Covid is ending on October 31st, and UK’s ex PM Gordon Brown feels that this scheme needs to be extended otherwise UK’s economy can suffer another setback.

Lastly what do you’ll think should the UK government continue with the job retention scheme till covid lasts, or should they end it and there won’t be any visible effects on their economy?.

Quote

The UK economy grew by 6.6% in July, according to official figures, but output remains far below pre-pandemic levels.
It is the third month in a row that the economy has expanded.

Quote

Meanwhile, the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme is due to end on 31 October.
Former prime minister Gordon Brown, warned that ending the furlough scheme was a "cliff-edge" that could trigger "a tsunami of unemployment".

3813  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ DuckDice.io 🎲 Faucet 🎲 Rainbot 🎲 Jackpot 🎲 Wagering Contest 🎲 1%Edge 🎲 on: September 11, 2020, 06:42:29 AM
Great updates duckdice I really didn't bothered betting more than 10 sats but I think it's still great that you lowers the minimum bet to 1 sats. The demo mode is great since the users didn't need to create or register an account to test out your duckdice and to test their strategy too bad I can't play demo mode on flashbet but still great since I've been trying to figure out which strategy to use to maximize my winnings.

I think it's a great movement for DuckDice. Mini bet amount has been reduced to 1 sats & equivalent amount (to 1 sats) in other currencies. Users can now place more bet than before with the same amount. This thing may attract new players to the site. Deposit funds and faucet amount will stay separately. And we can claim faucet while having deposit funds in main balance. So we don't need to withdraw main balance to claim faucet. As a user I liked that feature much.
1 Satoshi bet will allow faucet collectors to place more bets. But, I doubt any real gambler will go for 1 Satoshi bet.

Real gambler won't bet 1 sats but they might start with less than 10 sats base bet amount to run their strategy or dice-bot. Most of the user won't play with 1 sats bet. When a user will hunt for big payout he/she can avoid early red streak with smaller bet. So I consider it as a good change.

@zidanw indeed the demo mode is really good because it gives gamblers a good idea about the casino, and I tried playing some random bets in the demo mode, and I definitely liked it because it was quick, and was giving prompt notifications too.

Also many big gamblers too use 1 - 10 Satoshis to warm up, before they go for their big wins, hence this move to reduce the minimum bet amount shall benefit all the gamblers who play at DuckDice.

I think it's not really new on windice, though.
If I remember correctly it was already held for months (based on my earlier post),
Just there's no proper introduction to bitcointalk forum until recently they did it.
What need you to know is your wincoin is reset on daily basis, so don't try to gather it to participate the next contest  Wink

@AhmadM after reading your old post I do realise that this promotion has been running on Windice for quiet a while now, but since they never announced it officially here people are considering this to be a new promotion. Also you have brought up a very important point that will help all the gamblers, because I too was under the impression that I could save those coins, and wager them in future competitions.
3815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another DeFi exit scam on: September 10, 2020, 05:07:05 PM
Many warnings have been posted about the possibility of DeFi exits scams across different platforms including bitcointalk but it seems people are simply too greedy to take advantage of the hype and profit. As it turns out, many of them got burned from projects like Yfdexf.Finance.

As reported, Yfdexf’s team managed to run away with $20 million. Their official website, medium, telegram and twitter accounts have all been taken down to not leave any traces.

What happened here is also another reminder to all aridrop and giveaway hunters out there to be careful in what you are sharing in exchange for some rewards. You might not realized it yet, but you are also helping these scammers.  Yfdexf’s team organized many giveaways to create hype and many of these hunters just joined without even thinking about what they are promoting.

@Bttzed03 this is really sad news and I wish some how those scammers are caught, even though I know it’ll be very difficult to catch them.

Furthermore this is another example why we all should not be greedy, and why we all should strictly avoid risking our funds for short term gains by investing in unknown sites and unknown tokens.

Also you have brought up a valid point that bounty hunters need to be careful about what they promote here, and to eradicate such scams older members should tag those bounty hunters, and force them to stop promoting such type of scams.

These are the early odds for the new season, to be Champions of Europe.

I still can’t figure out why Man City are favourites every season, they’ve never even got to a final & Pep hasn’t got to a final since he left Barcelona.

I don’t get this either but maybe is the fact that they have a coach like Guardiola who has won the Champions before and they have also some really good players. However the facts have shown that Manchester City has always suffered after the group rounds of the Champions League.

@LFC_Bitcoin the simple reason is because he’s a tactical genius, and the book makers believe in his tactics more than we do, so yea that’s one reason why I feel they always favour Manchester City to lift the champions league. Also I don’t expect my favourite club i.e. Manchester United to last long in CL because of their poor transfer strategy so far, but I’m sincerely hoping that they’ll finally wake up, and splurge some cash and purchase quality player’s soon.

Sigh. People who don't like vaccines (not saying you OP) will look for anything and everything to try to discredit them. This is probably one of the first times that all of us are exposed to watching every single step in the process of a vaccine. This is a relatively common thing to happen, and it's really not cause for concern.

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/09/09/dr-fauci-says-pause-on-trial-is-not-uncommon-at-all-after-major-coronavirus-vaccine-trial-placed-on-hold.html

Fauci (an expert in infectious diseases) says that this is totally not uncommon. So, why does everyone have to freak out now?

@squatz1 I agree with you that we should not discredit them at such an important stage of their testing, rather we all need to be patient and give them some more time to work on what went wrong in their testing.

Also I can understand why people are freaking out, because they’re scared for their life’s, and their most common fear is what happens if they take the vaccine and suffer horrible side effects from it, and to be honest those fears are rational.

However just because we’re scared we should not rule them out, because a proper vaccine is the need of the hour as no country’s economy can afford more lockdowns due to lack of covid vaccine.

3819  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump and Biden trading insults. Early vaccine adoption could be dangerous. on: September 10, 2020, 04:24:58 AM
Vaccine production is at the hands of researchers, and only researchers with oversight from the FDA. Doesn't matter who's President, they won't over rule the FDA and speed up clinical trials. Everyone should have skepticism but I don't think the U.S. will have a problem with an early vaccine with how strict the guidelines are.

+1 to some of that.

President can put pressure on the FDA, but that pressure can only go so far without setting off any whistle blower stuff. But even with that, the President can promise as much as they want but they can't speed up research and then later they can't just make logistics and distribution work out of thin air.

Making the vaccine is tough, but effectively and efficiently distribution to hundreds of millions of people is VERY HARD as well. Across a place as big and diverse of the US is tough and not a joke at all.

@Gyfts you’re absolutely correct as FDA chief too has also promised that he’ll stick to science only, and he has also assured the staff that they’ll not bow down to political pressure to speed up the delivery of the vaccine.

Furthermore I feel that Trump made this claim only to appease the voters, because even he knows that it isn’t possible to speed up the delivery of the vaccine, and in the end when FDA doesn’t deliver the vaccine by October he’ll blame the FDA and Democrats for not caring about Americans.

Lastly I wouldn’t be surprised if he uses the failed delivery of vaccine to target the Democrats in the run up to the elections, but I sincerely doubt that the voters would fall for his claims that the Democrats blocked the quick delivery of the vaccine.

We are up and running... but really busy right now 🤓
We are working on new affiliate program, new bonuses, contests and challenges that will make OneHash even more exciting for you. There will be some announcements soon 😏

Of course we are still available for your requests. Let us know if there are sports, tournaments or leagues that you would like to bet on and we will see what we can do to grow our offer!

We promise to post more often Smiley
Nice, this is good that you have noticed that people missed you.

We'll wait for those updates you have made. I guess you have heard that someone has actually posted about you when you seem to be MIA.

Thanks to vd309.  Cheesy

@OneHash it would be nice to see some competitions for the Premier League, La Liga, Italian League, and theme for these could be highest goal scorer (monthly), highest goal keeping saves (monthly). Furthermore you could create some competitions for NBA and Tennis too, but I’m not sure what exactly the theme should be for these two sports, hence I’m hoping that others can chip in with some ideas.
