3801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another 2017 kinda year is already around the corner on: November 06, 2020, 08:03:49 AM
What is happening right now and 2017 have some similarities.

1. In 2017, there is this ICO hype and right now we also have another hype in DeFi hype.
2. As these hypes happening, the price of Bitcoin is going higher and higher until it reaches a new ATH (possible).

In the end, just be vigilant and be ready for the best and at the same time the worst.

The similarities of ICO and Defi hype can be said also in 2018 and 2019 though. Remember STO hype in 2018 and IEO hype in 2019? Everyone thought those were the jackpots but they did not turn out as expected,,, and Defi is already losing the gleam for many people.

This is only Bitcoin vs the rest of the world in my view:)

Wow,,, well done. I picked the Ajax goalie and of course they somehow let the weak team in the group score, so lost points there instead of gaining. I pity anyone who picked Atalanta of Salzburg keeper though, who knows they would let in so many goals right?

Any group in the UCL is so hard with goals, it would have been the best to pick Alisson in all match days but if you see all the games it was all so close with many chances and saves and VAR goals taken off,,, well done again.
3803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin and altcoins bull run every 4years. how many years already? 🐂🐃🦈 on: November 06, 2020, 06:18:16 AM
Just be careful about this guys,,, I know it is so tempting to think this is the bull run that will go crazy but I would say this is just the start of the long-term bull run. Have not changed my mind about Bitcoin or anything but just be wary is all that I am saying. Get in safe, get in what you can, get in what you will not lose sleep over;)
3804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Scoring a goal with the VAR interruption on: November 05, 2020, 05:01:45 PM
Nice idea, but it would never work with my bookies or my connection. I actually try to bet live sometimes and I do watch when my team Spurs is behind,,, I immediately want to bet on them to win or sometimes give them a 0.5 handicap so I can hope my team scores and wins.

But markets is always suspended when goal happens and then now they wait for VAR before they restore the market:)
3805  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This will help day traders and newbie traders. on: November 05, 2020, 03:47:03 PM
Not always. It depends on the situation each time. Let us say you are 100% sure that altcoins you are holding will never grow. Then sell them. The other situation is that when you believe in your alts’ growth. Why should you get rid of them then?

But this is a decision that should have been made long before you invested in these alts right? And if you are a day trader (which is what they thread is about),,, then it's not about holding but making decisions for the day on a strategy that is kept within the same day to keep your capital mobile about the whole market every day right? You always exit, at predicted stops.
3806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 05, 2020, 03:14:51 PM
They never failed to surprise us.
They are another version of Liverpool BK (before klopp) now.
They can win against big teams, but they wont pass medioker teams.
Because that is their level now. Medioker team always be motivated against bigger teams.

With PSG lost last night, it would be more interesting to see this group.
United needs to secure their spot on UEFA Europa League.

PSG should have won,,, they actually as you said wasted their chances, if they scored the penalty then it would be 0-2 and then Leipzig would be more open and more aggressive, this was a throwaway game.

Truly an open group now also that United lost. I see them as Spurs (my team). Can beat the big teams, play like crazy, but as soon as they are the favorites you never know how the game will go.
3807  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin chart through a different lens. on: November 05, 2020, 01:55:13 PM
As seen in the chart, we are literally battling against the ATH monthly close of Dec 2017, a monthly close above $13,899 is all that the bulls need to push the prices to new all-time highs beyond $50,000 bitcoin.

On the contrary, if the price heads beyond 20k and fails to have a monthly close above $13,899 there is really nothing to be excited about, technically a monthly close at $15,000-$16,000 is much stronger than a wick through 20k, so keep an eye on these levels.

Yes and now if the election results hold for a week,,, stock markets continue their rally or steadfastly hold in the same range,,, then I think this $14k monthly close will happen. I think a lot of people are expecting it too with Bitcoin mempool going down means their BTC is ready for storage or already on exchanges.

The 20k would just result in profittaking for sure.
3808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting small amounts on a lot of matches or big amount on couple of matches? on: November 05, 2020, 11:34:33 AM
Always many small amounts for me on many matches, but each of them I hope to win with good value. I very seldom bet big,,, especially because when I do, it feels like such a nervous experience watching (like especially if you support a team like Tottenham Hotspurs!).

I think people who bet big see it as a possible profit making enterprise is the problem.
3809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to invest in Binance on: November 05, 2020, 09:48:00 AM
I do not know about Binance really,,, I keep thinking that this is a coin that can only rely on Binance's success. And so, yes, it looks like it has potential to grow a lot, but only until Binance stops growing.

Now Binance even signed up with big giants Nexo for 8% staking a year, so they will grow on that news,,, but until when it will grow?
3810  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: November 05, 2020, 09:03:41 AM
I guess I should be pleased with myself,,, I actually managed to get some good points this round in Matchday 3, I cannot remember exactly who I picked (does anybody know how to refer to the picks?) but I know I played around many times with Messi, Lewandowski and Mane, so I guess either of the way I picked I got a lot of points. Curious to know who managed to score 50 points! That must have been Diogo Jota hattrick plus captain, well done;)
3811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum (ETH) or Bitcoin Cash (BCH) which has the brighter future? on: November 05, 2020, 07:27:35 AM
I do not want to sound like a Bcash hater,,, it is what it is and there are people using it, fair game. But how on earth can you compare the two ETH and BCH? ETH is a dapp platform with all kinds of use cases (yes, even Defi which I do not like). BCH is just a cheaper Bitcoin. Which cannot even catch up in development.
3812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking: Sources that show information about suspended/injured missing players on: November 04, 2020, 01:40:35 PM
Someone said above Transfermarkt and I agree here, I also only learned about it from watching another forum (FortuneJack) where users have said it is the best place to look for the latest squad. But they are not real-time so you always have to check the lineup right before the game when they confirm the starting players around 10 minutes before kick off (Google the teams, then click on lineup, if they are not even on the bench then they are suspended or injured).
3813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people stop their crypto project? on: November 04, 2020, 01:07:21 PM
Many developers are scammers and they have different aims and target, some will exit scam very early and some will take few years, we need to do proper research and make sure that any project team have much devotion for their project and their qualifications is good enough to handle any threat

Proper research will not change the intention of developers. Actually, most developers I think are good and have good intent but very few times are actual developers in charge of decision makers of their projects. The problem lies with the decision makers who probably pay devs as CTOs or engineers,,, but the bigger solution is simply decentralized governance and DAOs.

While trump and biden fight for the white house, I don't think anyone is deeply discussing the election's impact on btc. What do you guys think? I personally believe that if we get a dem-controlled senate and house, it'd be better for crypto, in general.

I think in the long run, Bitcoin's fate will not change. This result will affect short term markets, stockmarkets etc,,, and maybe some spill on effects to crypto, but in the end, it only delays or makes faster the decisions people make with their money and capital. Eventually, all traditional markets will suffer from Covid, and recession,,, and then crypto (or gold) is what people turn to. And not everyone can get gold!
3815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH still going higher as our anticipatiion on: November 04, 2020, 11:03:30 AM
The genuine development will come either before their 2.0 authority dispatch in the not so distant future. Recently and today, I had the occasion to get great long passages on account of Bitcoin's most recent plunges around the $11K cost. ETH has been stunned by the issue of costly GAS charges, I am certain that this won't bring about any issues for ETH's future turn of events. all networks are hanging tight for ETH v2.0.

I think people have come to accept this now (the delay I mean) so it is not going to be an issue any more if it is 2021 or even much later, but yes,,, what is important now is when they do launch, the transition is problem free and does not interrupt anyone already using ETH. For sure a lot of people will leave if things are not seamless. This is the only worry for me.
3816  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST.io🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶PLAY 📈INVEST➡🔺🎲🎰🔲 | BET CONTEST ▄■▀■▄ on: November 04, 2020, 09:48:12 AM
I have to say I have never seen more beautiful cakes made for a casino. And so we know now gamblers are also extremely creative people! ~
For me, it's first time I'm seeing that user making and decorating real cake for any online casino birthday celebration. Previously I have seen gambler wishing casino with artificially painted cake. Though all casino celebrate their birthday with some special promotion. But Bitvest have arranged unique promotion to celebrate their 5th year birthday.

Seems like few people bought a cake and decorated it to participate. Some user showed nice creativity with their decoration. Yeah, every cake deserve to win but I think, well designed cake and own hand made cake by participant should get much priority than bought cake.

Yes,,, well done to all the cakewinners I see a few names that are familiar in there, and someone even sent a love letter to Promo;) My personal favorite now seeing all the pictures is the pie that has some red sprinkles on it hehe;)

Anyway, enjoy all the prizes people do not spend it all in one bet!

3817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safeguarding funds , your funds on exchanges are safe? on: November 04, 2020, 09:09:12 AM
Funds are safer in your wallet than exchanges, don't listen to those praising top exchanges, even coinbase or binance can still get hacked, if you are a full time trader always move your profits off the Exchanges to your personal wallet that you owned the private keys, don't....

1. Use coinbase wallet to store funds, it's centralized
2. Make sure you use 2FA code for your exchanges too

Yes,,, never get fooled by what you see online. I do definitely think that some exchanges are better than others, and some take good care of you, etc,,, but in the end, if something bad happens (hack or crash or whatever) you as the customer will pay first. This is the rule of business at all times when it comes to profit. So do not allow that possibility and keep your own funds.
3818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 04, 2020, 07:38:13 AM
Don't know what happend with Ajax. First they have a great start and score the 0-2 within 12 minutes and after that it looks like they stopped playing.

Gladly they won the game in the end so they still have a chance to become second in the poule.

They even had one goal not counted in the second half, and conceded to the weakest team probably in the whole tournament,,, but they played so well against Liverpool (but lost). That is the luck of group stage I guess and when you have to play it all in such a short timeframe it can really hurt. They now have to beat either Liverpool or Atalanta, not sure if possible. A big shame if they cannot progress to Last 16.
3819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it enough for YFI or are you still waiting for a magical pump? on: November 04, 2020, 06:54:56 AM
I do believe YFI is done for now but i have been trying to gambling in the keep3r too. It's a new coin that already created by andre cronje and people have been moving to the keep3r. it's growing for more than 2k% like YFI too.
There will be no pump again for YFI but a new hype has come to the new coins like keep3r.
Traders are always moving from one to the another coins.

I have been hearing a lot about this Andre Cronje now lately and it seems even Binance has listed what he calls his "experiment". Since when did people start putting a lot of money into one guy's experiment,,, I know Bitcoin is also an experiment but it does not belong to one guy but a lot of people all over the world. Get off they hype train my friends.
3820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: dollar vs bitcoin on: November 03, 2020, 05:54:33 PM
Bitcoin can be used in any countries as long as the country you will going to travel on were accepting bitcoin as a payment while in a dollar currency you will needed to exchange it to the currency of one country where you were planning to go on.

No need to think like this,,, you can simply just sell your Bitcoin p2p in almost any country and get the local cash to spend. Even where Bitcoin is banned you can find people selling it p2p in telegram or wechat these days.

I actually think more countries have Bitcoin buyers than USD buyers.
