True, doesn't make sense about the Davis-Lillard trade. Portland is rebuilding since last year and Lillard is still injured if my memory serves me right. But they are slowly getting pieces around him so that when he is available, then they might have another round of playoff with Dame. Davis is still the core of the Lakers, and with a new coach, he will definitely have a big role again together with Lebron.

Portland Trail Blazers is crap. There's no such thing as rebuilding as their purpose. They are just going into the flow. As for Lillard, there are many times already that he shows disappointment with the team but still, he will not break his loyalty. The Blazers are not even involved and doing some attempts in getting a big fish in the off-season or trying to surround Lillard with good role players.

Yeah, but he got injured and so the team decided to overhaul and trade CJ, Norman Powell and Robert Covington. So it might be a complete roster build for them and we will see how Lillard will come back.

I agree though that the Davis-Lillard trade is not likely possible. The Lakers won't do that and let's say if it will happen, it's either Davis who will be the one to ask for that trade or the Lakers ended up on that decision as they see Davis always got sidelined because of injuries. If I remember it right, during the off-season after the Bubble, LeBron James told Anthony Davis that he's the current man of the Lakers and should not go anywhere else.

And now that they have a new coach, it seems the he will explore Davis more often as he has said publicly. He will be the first choice in office.  But the injuries though, he has been plague for years and hopefully he will be at least play as much game as he can and will be healthy.
3802  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: BINANCE urged to be BANNED in the PHILIPPINES on: September 11, 2022, 08:08:32 AM
Mas maigi na maregulate yung crypto in my own opinion than banning it kasi andaming mawawalan at tayo lang din yung mahihirapan. And as far as I know yun yung target ng binance dito sa Pilipinas.

Mukhang malapit na sa part na yan.

1) Include crypto education as part of the subject in Universities (although not part of the curriculum)
2) Coins.ph making big partnerships
3) Gcash, Maya intergrating crypto on their service soon
4) BSP seems positive now towards crypto unlike before na puro warnings (although tama naman)

At ano pa ba?

3803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 11, 2022, 07:45:03 AM
@bbc.reporter - Here is what Inoue tell us about his potential fight with Fulton at 122 lbs, hehehe.

Quote
“I watched the Fulton-Brandon Figueroa fight,” Inoue told Daisuke Sugiura of RingTV. “Fulton is a technical fighter. He can keep his distance very well. I only watched one of his fights and I don’t think the Figueroa fight was his best, so I’d rather not say much more. If we fight each other, I think it will be a great technical battle. It won’t be an easy fight. Fulton has a long reach, and I think it’s about how (well I close) the distance.”

https://www.boxingscene.com/inoue-on-fulton-if-we-fight-each-other-i-think-it-great-technical-battle--168964

So he believes that it will be a chess match between the two. Probably the same when he fought Donaire the first time during the finals of WBSS tournament. Lots of close round, hard to score and there will be momentum shifts in the fight.
3804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing for a real Assets on: September 10, 2022, 11:50:44 PM
While Going through the book Rich dad, poor dad my mind refrain back to this; INVESTING FOR A REAL ASSET

And it says a true luxury is a reward for investing in and developing a real asset.having read that I was contemplating and as well need clarification for this.If BTC is an asset.because it was said that an asset is money in your pockets,so how does BTC relate to being a real asset, and what is a real asset and how do you invest for a real Assets.

I guess you missed the point in that book, he is advocating investing in "real state asset" because it will give you passive income. He even have some experiments early in his career wherein he buy a property without shelling out money, i.e he uses his credit card, a amount of $2k just to move one and then he loan the remaining like $16k-$20k if I'm not mistaken.

It's just a different approach when you invest in crypto, because unlike real property asset, it has a lots of up and down, but the end result will be the same, it can give you profits in the long run. Also you will hear Robert talks about crypto in general, so I will assume that he also consider it a real asset.
3805  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: September 10, 2022, 11:11:57 PM
though it's the same as we've seen on exchanges regarding trading competitions with members that will compete with other teams.

Its not the same, you are not competing with the other clans. In short, players band together in form of clan and then play against Rollbit. You pool in balances and wager with that balances, in case of winning then everyone on the clan will get a fair share of it depending on what percentage of balance that you pooled in to the clan balance
That's a good one, and there's no need for a competition for now since this is just new in Rollbit but we might see that option as well since Rollbit is very innovative and they can also think for this. Having your own clan can make you more addicted in gambling so better to take this easy and don't just follow the hype from your clan, just gamble if you think you can catch up with them. Is there a limit for creating your own clan? Is this already live on the platform right?

Yes, bring back memories when I was addicted to this kind of games, hehehe, there are clans and you have players behind you. I think this is a good idea coming from Rollbit and for sure this could attract more gamblers in their platform and play it. Maybe I have to check this out later and perhaps give it a try. Would love to play it with new friends and then start a clan myself.
3806  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1 - The copycat epidemic within crypto casinos. on: September 10, 2022, 10:49:26 PM
You have one, massive incumbent who innovated a lot of what we see today (Stake); multiple competitors who hold a small but notionally considerable percentage of the market (Duelbits, Gamdom, Roobet, etc); a rapidly evolving space with huge potential upside. The only thing that’s missing is the competitor that will finally give Stake a run for its money.

Stake.com is not the only one that's been doing what its been doing and I don't agree that there is an absence of competition in the Cryptocurrency market, it is just that Stake has long years of existence and they have established loyal supporters since they started back 1998, others are just building their reputation and community, their closest rival Duelbits just started 2020 but they have achieved a lot, it will be different five years from now, Stake.com is just reaping what they've planted on over 20 years of their existence, you cannot expect to beat Stake by other casinos that are 2 to 4 years in its existence.

It's because Stake and Primedice are the prime movers in crypto based casino so they already established their reputation already. Of course there are rivals that is going to come and go because it is a multi billion dollar industry. So it's hard to avoid this so called copy cats and similarities in design in games because this is a niche. And probably the same set of developers are being hired and of course same slot machine operators too.
3807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 10, 2022, 10:34:06 PM
I just read an article that said the Lakers are considering trading Anthony Davis for Damian Lillard.  I'm pretty sure these reporters are just making things up for clicks now, as I don't see either team wanting to make that trade.  The idea of LeBron and Dame on the same team is pretty exciting though.  I put a 1% chance on that happening, but it's still fun to think about.  They're both killers on the court and I imagine would make one hell of a playoff run no matter who else is around them.

The Lakers just signed Beverley, and they still haven't gotten rid of Westbrook. So I also think this rumor about the Davis-to-Lillard trade sounds unrealistic at the moment. Besides, I doubt that the Blazers' management has any plans to trade Dame. As for Davis, I guess the Lakers management will seriously consider trading him if he misses more than half of the upcoming season again due to injuries.

3808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Haney vs Kambosos II (Undisputed) on: September 10, 2022, 10:15:33 PM
He had the right to exercise it right away but we will know it soon if Kambosos and his camp definitely did the right thing for rushing the fight, we didn't know exactly what happened behind the scenes but it looks to me that Kambosos was a having a hard time accepting the reality and that he was overwhelmed by Haney.

I agree, he needs another fresh strategy to overcome Haney's technicalities because if he and his camp cannot find that something that might lead him the win he needed then I'm afraid that Kambosos is just adding the embarrassment he experienced earlier this year.
I really hope that this is more than sour grapes coming from Kambosos and there was in fact something that affected his performance in his fight against Haney, if that is the case then we may get to see a more interesting fight than the one that we watched previously, but even then I do not think Kambosos will have too much of a chance to get the win, however if those are nothing but excuses coming from Kambosos then the upcoming fight will not be really that interesting to watch.

They definitely underestimate Haney in their first fight. Kambosos and his camp may have been thinking that they can go out there and push Haney and uses his power. But Haney is too smart for that one, and then uses his boxing IQ to out think Kambosos every round. When George think that he has the upper hand because Haney is in the corner then Devin will come up with pot shot that George can't avoid. And for sure his team see this and may have a better strategy in the rematch. But I don't see Kambosos overwhelming Haney the way he did against Lopez.
3809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Robson Conceicao - Sept 23 on: September 10, 2022, 10:00:24 PM
^^ Yes, for sure a lot of good options for him. Doesn't necessarily fighting Tank at 135 lbs, as you have said, Rolly Romero and Isaac Cruz or even Jojo Diaz and then number 6 William Zepeda. So far 135 lbs looks like this:

Haney
Loma
Davis
Kambosos
Ryan Garcia

And then the fighter that I mentioned in the top 6 to 11-15.

But we will have to wait for the result of this fight first. Shakur should focus on Robson before he talks about fighting Tank in 135 lbs.
3810  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: September 10, 2022, 09:45:03 PM

3811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Terra Classic recovered? on: September 10, 2022, 01:20:04 PM
Im really confuse with the sudden pump. I think there are key players that planning to step up and manipulate the price. Imagine a 200% plus gains or price action in just an overnight is not so healthy. Hopefully some retailers wouldnt go to hype as this could lead to a massive fall out.

Or those who have jump is those people who have lost their money and at least if they would have to sell at the price right now, they could have recovered something.

And we all know that this kind of meteoritic rise is not going to be sustainable, so this could lead to another massive fall out, which will hurt another set of investors. So the best option is not to jump on the hype.
3812  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which one is your most favorite alternative to Preev.com? on: September 10, 2022, 12:59:45 PM
I wouldn't say my favorite but it is the one that I'm using right now, pnnv.com.

And it seems that the majority is with me just by looking at the votes. In any case, I will have to test other sites as well. And the lessons that we get from preev is that we should look for alternatives. Because we have relied so much with preev that it went down, we all go blind and then go back to cmc and coingecko which is too heavy.
3813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 10, 2022, 12:08:34 PM
That is why I have to look up on Tapology that the fight was now on October 15, 2022, instead of September 09, it was really a bummer but at the same time pretty much understandable because of the passing of the queen it was really unexpected and shocking at the same time, but it will surely happen and pretty much all of us will go the same fate,

The two ladies are really getting at it on the bad talking but it is really understandable aswell because this is to hype the fight and surely I don't really think this is because of some bad blood between the two, but because of this the fight between Canelo Alvarez vs. Gennadiy Golovkin on September 17, up next,

I knew it mate, you are one of those waiting for this fight to happen, but there are things that are really unexpected and so they have to adjust the schedule fight to October 15 tentatively.

I thinks its more on the side of Shields because she wants to erase the stigma of her lost to Marshall when they were still two of the best amateur prospects. They have bad blood going as I have mentioned since Marshall supposedly beat Shields. Here is the video of the fight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AySU_QrrSUo. You'll be the judge as to who actually won.
3814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: September 10, 2022, 10:43:58 AM

So it's bad to stay in a weight division wherein you can't really make weight, another example is Casimero. he wanted to fight Inoue so he stayed in that division and in the first scheduled fight against Butler, he fell ill. And in the second one, he was caught with the Sauna thingy.

He was already struggling to keep the required weight, it's just too bad for Casimero as he was caught cheating, he could have just move up and be the number 1 contender to fight the champion. For Ancajas here, there's still one more chance for him to avenge his loss, if he wins here, people will stop doubting him, if he losses, then no choice for him but to move up.

I wouldn't directly say that he Casimero is cheating though, probably most boxers are doing that sauna thing to lose more liquid in their body prior to the fight and it could be the norm. What hurts Casimero is that he still has a lot of weight to lose days before the fight. So the issue is that him or someone from his team didn't monitor his weight and didn't do their assignment as far as safety is concern regarding losing that extra pound. But the focus now is Inoue vs Butler, but I'm not sure if the door is close between Inoue and Casimero. Maybe in the next weight class we will see them fight.
3815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: September 10, 2022, 10:27:04 AM
If the same Bivol from how we saw him beating Canelo, the chance of winning is high for Bivol here. But like what you mentioned, we can't take Ramirez for granted. He's here, and he deserves that respect knowing that if he corner Bivol he can beat him and knock him down.

Fighters is good as their last fight, so we will assumed that we will see the same version of Bivol in the Canelo fight. Very fast in his hands and feet, and throwing a lot of jabs because that what he is known of. And it is very effective strategy to keep Canelo at bay. And even if Canelo keeps coming at him, he always has the answer and the last punch. So if that is what we will going to see against Zurdo Ramirez, then chances are high that it will be another decision win for Bivol.
3816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Heavyweight Battle of Britain - FURY vs JOSHUA on: September 10, 2022, 09:49:56 AM
^^ This is the same thoughts as Bob Arum, that's why he said that Eddie Hearn is bluffing. Because Arum after so many years in boxing, knows when a fighter needs a tune up fight after getting a big L, which Joshua had and it's back to back loses. And so he is negative about the fight happening this year, although he is on the side of Fury and probably Fury will beat Joshua, he might be sharing what others think that this is a very dangerous path for Joshua if he wanted to get back again from the humiliating lost from Usyk.

As for the fans, well if they see that their favorite boxers is losing, it's understandable that they too want to distant themselves from Joshua.
Bob knows the boxing business and boxers' behavior after the wins and the losses because he has seen it all, he's one of the oldest promoters in boxing and all are pointing for Joshua to get a tune fight first or a build-up fight first, the hardest question is what will become of Joshua's career if he losses again.

Yeah, that's what I'm trying to say that's why he pointed out some positive and negative statement about Joshua and Eddie agreeing to terms of Fury and the fight being held before the end of the year.

Fury is good at mind games he knows that Joshua is at his lowest, and his self-esteem is destroyed by these two losses, how can he motivate himself that he has what it takes to beat Fury when his best is not good enough against Usyk.

And the thought of what's next if he losses again, is Hearns really after Joshua getting back in boxing or he wants to end Joshua's career.

No question about it, he already destroys Wilder even without throwing the first punch in their first punch and did so in the rematch. So this is a good strategy by Fury to call him out in public. And if this fight doesn't materialized, fans will know who stall the fight.
3817  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: September 10, 2022, 09:23:20 AM

3818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: September 09, 2022, 11:25:23 PM
There is no doubt in my mind that Golovkin will be able to win this fight. I am referring to this particular fight. As a matter of fact, I am expecting him to retire after this fight. If he does not, I think he will try to take on fights that are easier. It's hard to believe that Triple G is so old right now. He is already 40 years old. As a matter of fact, I think that it is just a matter of time before his body gives up on him. So I think he should leave when he is still at the top.

As I understand it, if he wins, I don't think he's going to give Canelo another chance Smiley. There is no doubt that triple G is the favorite in this match.

If you think that GGG will win this fight then you have a chance to quadruple your money as the ML odds for this fight had it @4.6 for GGG while @1.16 for Canelo. The bookies think opposite the as they are putting Canelo as the heavy favorite due to age and performance I think. GGG's win against Murata wasn't impressive at least for me while Canelo was putting a typical Canelo show only that Bivol is the better, bigger, and smart fighter that night so he lost but against GGG, no doubt he will win (just my thought).

Attractive odds indeed for GGG, specially for those who wanted a live underdog. And based on the results of the votes, boxing fans wanted GGG to win. I personally haven't bet yet, and I might look for the round range, or maybe going to the distance, we will see.

As for next path that each one will take, for sure, their careers, will continue. But definitely they wanted to end their trilogy and move on.
3819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 09, 2022, 11:10:30 PM
So for those who are asking about the new coach of NLEX, the name is already revealed.

NLEX taps Adonis Tierra as interim coach

To be honest, I don't know this coach but since the management trusted him, then I wish them the best and I hope NLEX will still remain as a team that could compete against the heavy names in the NBA.
I can't see any affiliate about their new coach aside from he's a former PBA player and drafter as number 2 before, that could be the reason why NLEX trust him for one year contract. Well, there's a lot of good imports that other teams are able to get, and I hope NLEX also got one because they have a good local players already, they just need to execute it properly every game. With this new coaching staff, let's see if they will become more competitive especially now that a new team will also come in PBA.

Yeah, remember that name, but it is still as interim coach status so, it will be short and under the microscope of the organization and see if he is a perfect fit or not. And he has the experience as player and assistance coach of Yeng in NLEX. so they just relegated him to full status as (interim) coach. It is also mentioned that they are getting the services of ex-NBA player Earl Clark as reinforcement for the Commissioner's cup.
3820  Economy / Economics / Re: Energy FUD!!! on: September 09, 2022, 10:55:18 PM
I'd ask these people why do they want to stop bitcoin mining so much instead of adding more nuclear power plants to produce cheap energy if they feel like they don't have enough of it. Ukraine will have a surplus now. They have a lot of nuclear power and their towns got decimated so the demand is low. Maybe after they finally get rid of this Russian infestation they will invite some bitcoin miners? That would be a great idea to get some capital flowing their way, to become another bitcoin friendly country.

Its' becoming a billion dollar business now, so those who are late wanted to bring it down.  But maybe we can rub this in to those who attack bitcoin mining,

Quote
Crypto mining firm CleanSpark announced an agreement on Friday to acquire Mawson's Bitcoin mining facility in Sandersville, Georgia for $33 million. The deal is anticipated to increase CleanSpark's hash rate by 1.4 exahashes per second (EH/s) in the next few months, and to 7.0 EH/s by the end of next year.

As part of the agreement, 6,468 last-generation mining ASICs will be purchased for $9.5 million, or $17 per terahash. "These machines, already operating at the acquired site, will add over 558 petahashes per second (PH/s) of computing power immediately upon closing," the company explains.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/cleanspark-acquires-mining-facility-in-georgia-for-33-million

So when they thought that they can stop it, more and more companies or those who have invested on it early is still continuing to do so this day. Despite the attack and FUD and the current market sentiments.
