there is no reason to buy a 1060 over a 1070 in any case, just buy less 1070 if that is the problem, with also the possibility to expand further in the future, if you want more hash, and without buying a new rig

When the 980ti can do 300MHASH, the 1070 should do around 344MHASH with proper programming and oc. if you can pull that of, i'm all for it

0.1 is for the subscription. small money if you have 10cards ++
The pascal mod is not done yet, Release #1 use 8% less power than the opensource, and only 5MHASH higher hashrate on the 1070.
so what you can do with 6 x 1070 for example? my numbers are 1550MH with 944w at the wall, due to efficiency i'm losing 8% for the psu, so the real power that all the gpu are using is around 850w this for 6 x 1070

what is your electricity? you can easily make $200(net) a month with a 6 x 480 mining ethereum and spending around $2k fpr the rig
That's surprising to see you praising AMD ! I would have recommended him a build with 6x 1070 if its electricity rate is high. it's just because i don't want other mining lbry and ruin our paradise lol it's better if they stay with etehruem

We have this saying in Holland... "When the cat leaves home, the mice dance on the table"... What do you have in mind? For architecture Kepler and Maxwell, my miner shows a greater speed than yours. Pascal is a little less. 770-18.5 660-10.5+ 970-21 1070-31 I installed GTX 660 3072mb I propose to carry out the test. Connect to eg, dwarpool at 24 hours, with my miner and your miner and see how many share acept... I have nothing in mind, I was just being cynical. To be honest I don't know anymore how fast my miner is, the only thing I know is how free it is. your miner is at least as a fast, i was doing 31.5 or 32 as well but need high oc on the memory, this with a 1070, and it is also free

0.1 with fee is insane for the 1070 owner, unless you can pull off a crazy 20% or something, and i really doubt you can it's not optimizable anymore, pallas wolfo and epsylon all agree on this...

i don't know if it's me, win10 or whatever, but transaction windows notification, does not appear anymore, i'm talking about that small window in the bottom right of the corner
Speaking about this ? (taken from google image) : If yes then I don't have it as well , I upgraded to 0.13.0 few hours ago and I'm not having it (windows 10) yeah that little widnow that warn you when an amount is sent or received, same thing win 10 and this version, and it do not appear anymore since then so it's something to be fixed for this version i guess

@SP - whatever happened to the spreadminer 10?
Spreadminer 9+ compiled for cuda 8.0 has a small boost on the gtx 1070. I can send the exe to you. can you send me that too? i was also a donator for the spread algo

GTX 1060 3GB ~ 19,5 MH/s on ETH.
Card on stock clocks.
try to lower the core and increase the mem to +400, i think it can reach 24MH

It took me hours to syncronize but i finally made it, but i only have i7 Skyl CPU so i feel the mining is slow af. I have nVidia 1070 ROG and if it is a possibility for me to mine from my GPU that would be great. Or if anyone have some tips about how i can achieve a higher hashrate.
sp has a private miner that do 500hash(or khash i don't remember the order of magnitude for monero now) on a 1070 There is no need to download or run blockchain unless you are mining solo.
You need xmr address, mymonero is the easiest one. Join pool, download miner (joblo's for the cpu and tsiv's for 1070). Some pools let you mine to exchange address. Launch miner and start earning xmr. I have no idea if 1070 works with tsiv's miner and on what speed but it should give you at least the same speed as i7.
only 350 on tsiv, not worth it, not optimized, you need to ask for sp, if you are a donators, maybe he give you his private for free..

6x480 or 470 and you're done, will do more with the bios mod, to cover electricity and get a net of 1 eth per day
|
|

still too low unless a 1070 can do 1kh, also i'm expecting the diff to follow soon, so no reason to even bother with it

I am running 5 RX 480 on a windows 7 on a nanopool. A rough calculation is that I make $150 a month from all 5 cards. My investment into it is about $2000 and my ROI is about a year. Are my calculation right??
You will never ROI when ETH goes PoS. etc will not go pos from what i've gathered, also with 5 x 480 at 30MH each it seem a bit wrong to do only $150 a month if electricity is not very high

can you use watt kill? because gpu z not showing the real consume power he said 695, assuming 60w for the system the gpu are consuming around 130 each

can i mine decred and sia only ... no eth .. if so can someone copy me the bat command for that
No, you can dual mine, or Eth only. It is intended as a dual miner. If you REALLY REALLY wanted to, you could set -ethi really low, and -dcri really high. Any reason for not wanting to dual mine? i have nvidia cards isn't that good in eth really the 1070 is very good instead, 1080 and 1060 i can agree they are trash

XCN again, wtf is going on?
something must always be pumped it's how the things work here Haha, that's how it goes. But I just can't understand this one. it's like the feathercoin pump, it will return where it was soon ennough, just a p&d

For instance, even though the 1070 series was great at Lbry, for a little over a month, a 480 has been great at Ethereum and was pretty decent at Lbry on top of it (especially if you purchased Wolfs miner). Now that the Lbry boost is over, I own $450 GPUs that earn as much as a $200 GPU that weren't even that bad even during the huge Lbry burst.
i agree but i´m not dissatisfied with my 1070s. They were a direct replacement for my old 7950s. In fact i put 4x1070 replacing 3x7950, on the same rig with an 850w PSU. I still prefer these $429 1070s against the +$300 overpriced 480s, which were always out of stock. $450 is overpriced... They're supposed to be $380 MSRP. You can find 480s for $200, they're just rare and you have to hunt, much like the first couple weeks for 1070s. Not saying that 1070s will always be bad, just right now 480s are definitely winning out as a better purchase for mining. if we talk about wolfo miner then yes, but you need to pay to have that, and it's not cheap
