3821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PSA: Fees are cheap right now on: January 06, 2021, 08:54:25 AM
Mempool is not much congested like 2017 scenario but still some wallet's wrong estimation is pushing the fees higher when there is no need if it. So if you are going to make a transaction just check what ks the actual fee should be used, don't trust your wallet estimate it is now showing wrong calculation even in Electrum - Mempool feature.
3822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: how to sell own erc20 token on exchange website for free on: January 06, 2021, 05:00:10 AM

You made a token and you want to sell it easily for actual money? Interesting but bad idea man.

How can you expect someone will buy tokens from exchanges even if you list on any shit exchange?
3823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambler who manages to beat the casino on: January 06, 2021, 01:39:01 AM
Those all people managed to beat the casino not by luck just by their cheating strategies which can't be considered as actual beating the house because it is actually possible in long run no matter what. Well, these are some interesting stories behind the great minds who used to be smart but get caught at the end. Cheesy
3824  Other / Meta / Re: Can we, forum users, affect the bitcoin price? on: January 05, 2021, 03:57:17 PM
Actually google will give results of bitcointalk in their first page when the user used the most accurate keywords along with bitcointalk apart from this any deeper question will leads to bitcointalk so no matter how much we improve the actual quality here the goggle is going to give the paid ads in the first page along with shit exchanges and articles when simple keywords used while searching.
3825  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Comparative Features On Top Phone Antivirus For Crypto Wallets Protection on: January 05, 2021, 03:07:49 PM
Clone and fake apps are the ones stealing crypto assets from the users so spending our money on Anti virus and feel like we are completely safe is also stupidity so we should be aware all the time or better keep crypto wallets on secondary smartphones and never install any apps other than stocks and wallets.
devices that are always connected to the internet have a very high risk of being hacked. Even if you have a secondary smartphone and never installed anything, when it is targeted on your local network or on a public network it will still be hacked. All systems are not safe.
A good and safer option for now is to store assets on hardware wallets such as ledge, trezor etc.

never use an unknown public network because there will be many risks.
Almost every device connected to internet are prone to hack but it doesn't because every devices can be hacked.Only we will be hacked if we give an opportunity for the hacker to let in to our device which can be anything like a by installing an unknown apps, using public network which aren't protected, etc.

If you have a secondary smartphone it can be used as hardware wallet too and we never have to connect that device to internet to make transactions.Make the second one as offline air gapped wallet then pair the wallet on watch only mode on your primary mobile.

Someone actually made a guide regarding this, if I can able to find it will leave the link here.
3826  Other / Meta / Re: Multiaccounting? on: January 05, 2021, 01:45:38 PM
Why there are no rules against multi-accounting on the bitcointalk forum?

I see many multi-accounting cases exposed in the Reputation section, but the accused are not banned from the forum. What would be the value of users who create multiple accounts? What are the positive things that can be expected from them? They're probably all potential scammers and cheaters.

Multiple accounts are allowed here so they are not going to get banned unless they found to be a ban evader. People need multiple accounts for different reasons so Bitcointalk is not going to restrict people from doing it. If you found anyone is cheating with multiple accounts then their reputation will be ruined which is almost a worthless account to be here.
3827  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Old story. Exchanges get profits from users' withdrawal fees. on: January 05, 2021, 09:29:12 AM
Most of the exchanges have very less trading fee like 0.1% which is not going to be enough to bring the revenue they wanted so they are also making money from the withdrawals as well so they are telling their customers to not to withdraw their funds too often if they want to save the expenses. As a crypto trader there no other way than accepting this and the fees are pretty less compared to the hidden fees collected by banks.

This also can explains that why someone should use a wallet for storing crypto not any exchanges.
3828  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Comparative Features On Top Phone Antivirus For Crypto Wallets Protection on: January 05, 2021, 06:29:39 AM
For example all these fake Electrum wallets for both desktop and android have nothing malware-like but they still rob users funds all the same.
Clone and fake apps are the ones stealing crypto assets from the users so spending our money on Anti virus and feel like we are completely safe is also stupidity so we should be aware all the time or better keep crypto wallets on secondary smartphones and never install any apps other than stocks and wallets.
3829  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don’t fall for weak Bitcoin-FUD on Twitter on: January 03, 2021, 07:49:13 PM
So called social media influencers are always stupid, they doesn't even know splitting something doesn't increase the actual product in any manner, is there anyone got bad influence after seeing such stupid statements from these spammers. Roll Eyes

Surprisingly ethereum break $900 when no ie expecting, there are YouTubers start promoting altcoins with their idiotic market. Famous quote for successful investor is Buy the Fud Sell the Fomo, so its time to buy bitcoin nothing else.

3830  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: i give up on: January 03, 2021, 06:22:24 PM
I am giving up on Localcryptos, there's barely any sellers in my region esp for bitcoin, let alone any other crypto. I think at this point i might just have to lend into giving my kyc to localbitcoins.

My hopes for a perfect exchange keep shattering by the day. Sad
Actually people are moving to their local exchanges for better price and convenience but trust me they will return to P2P trading platforms at some point because with current bullish trend more government will be implementing high tax rates to crypto traders which is high as hell like 30 to 40% in some countries so people will move to LBC or other non KYC p2p trading platforms for sure to avoid paying such amount of taxes.
3831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Uphold a good app to store XRP? I am from the US. on: January 03, 2021, 05:45:32 PM
Use atomic desktop wallet which is best compared to other wallets available in the market for storing XRP but as US citizen you can't legally trade XRP anymore so no websites will allow you to do so, and I won't recommend holding XRP as well anymore.
3832  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Comparative Features On Top Phone Antivirus For Crypto Wallets Protection on: January 03, 2021, 04:50:03 PM
Actually, I was like a guy who buys new mobile along with premium anti virus as an add on for premium price in the show room itself but now I realized it doesn't make sense to buy or install an antivirus on android. Even though Android is prone to getting infected with malware the antivirus are not going to save us from malwares from my personal experience. So we should be keen when installing any apps even on the playstore and take a look at the permissions that app needs. Google play protect was bit lazy to remove shady apps so if you installed it before they review it then you will be vulnerable as well.
3833  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Electrum 200% fee on: January 03, 2021, 04:07:46 PM
If you are happy with your 2$ fee in terms of confirmation speed, the only option for you would be to not send small amounts.
A 2$ fee might seem much for a 1$ transaction, but it definitely isn't that much for a 10k$ transaction.
Just to insert a bit of the technology for understanding, the reason that users can pay such small relative fees is because the fees are based on the transaction size, but this is measured in bytes and not BTC or dollar figures: the number of inputs and outputs (and a few other factors) determine the fee, so theoretically you could send out multi-million-dollar transactions with pennies in fees, as long as there aren't too many inputs and outputs.
Exactly, size of the transaction decides how much fee we wre going to pay for our transaction. Upgrading to native segwit can help us to save a portion of fee but when are going to make s transaction which got huge inputs then the fee id going to be extremely higher for now. So if someone is having huge number of inputs then they can combine all together and make a transaction when the mempool is empty so they won't be paying huge fee when the network is congested.
3834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We can reduce our chances of loss on: January 03, 2021, 02:29:42 PM
I am writing this specially for newbies

Rather than investing in a shit coin to have 2x 3x profit within a day,If we invest in the top alts when it is in the Deep, then it can give a good profit.
Specially in a case of newbies, they always run behind 2x or 10x profit and in maximum cases they loose their money , but my friend's 10-20% profit is also very good.
And please don't enter in market when everything is pumped,if you miss this opportunity then wait for the other one.

Top altcoin when it is dumped? lease explain me this part?

Are you talking about the coinmarketcap ranking, but once they lost the value they will lose its spot then how can we consider them as top shit coin. Tongue
3835  Economy / Economics / Re: China Economy Forecasted to Surpass US Economy by 2028 on: January 02, 2021, 02:48:09 PM
That manpower is also the cheapest as far as I know, not to mention the money trap that China puts other small countries in to create a new Silkroad. But, China beating US when it comes to economy is still a dream to be fair, the economy of China is exclusive and most of their wealth is invested in real estate bubble that does not pop because they have exclusive economy.

That is simply not true. Manpower in China used to be cheap, but that was one or two decades ago. The wages have risen to such a level that they are now 2-3 times higher than the comparable salaries in countries such as India and Indonesia. On top of that, they are now getting strict with environmental and other regulations. Lax regulations attracted a lot of investment earlier.
If you compare the salaries of US citizen with Chinese citizen then you can see huge difference in the minimum wages.Of course US doesn't have huge amount as minimum wage but still they are far like 10 or more times than average pay in those countries you mentioned. What China did is created more employment with very low pay so everyone can work which will help their government to become better in economy as well.

Last years chinese salaries grown very much. And they are already on 30-40% more than, for example, most of old comunists USSR countries, like Russia or Ukraine. Avarage in China is 14.294 $ (yearly)

https://tradingeconomics.com/china/wages

And we have a median salary in USA - 35.977 $ (yearly)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personal_income_in_the_United_States#:~:text=The%20Bureau%20of%20Labor%20Statistics,sex%2C%20ethnicity%20and%20educational%20characteristics.

But in China we have also much less prices for living, buildng homes, services, etc. If we include that factor from GDP by PPP, we can see that on the same 1 dollar in USA you have a 1,72 dollars in China money buying power Index.

So we can see that is not big gap in final income and wealth -
14.294 $ * 1,72 = 24.585 $
24.585 $ vs 35.977 $ = US salary more on 46%

If we compare just pure numbers:
14.294 $ vs 35.977 $ = Us salary more just on 151%

And that`s why last 6-8 years most of companies oppening their new factories not in China but in Bangladesh, Vietnam and India. Because Chinese salaries already not little as it was 20 years ago, for example.
Average salary is higher in China but what about the salary of majority of people which is far lower than US as far as I know. Not sure about the exact values wnd calculation of average salary but the ground reality is different from what we can see on the paper.
3836  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to keep fiat safe while waiting to buy dips? on: January 02, 2021, 12:29:49 PM
There are two choices, the first one has been already mentioned on above posts which is about using stable coins so you no need to convert the capital and profits into fiat to buy back at the dip.You can simply move to your wallet and buy when you wanted by depositing into exchanges.

Or you can try p2p trading platforms where you can buy bitcoins instantly with your fiat money itself, no need to risk your money on centralized stable coins.
3837  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PornHub on: January 02, 2021, 07:59:39 AM
Well, visa and mastercard should know from the beginning that pornhub is a hub of nudity and sexual violence videos. Don't tell me that they were not aware of this before  Cheesy
Anyways they wanted to cuffoff their business from pornhub and used this as an excuse but due to crypto the pornhub business will not suffer at all. This is another example of power of decentralization.
Actually porn is not a violence but certain category videos are banned in most of the countries to due violences like child porn but these sites contain all type of videos even the site itself doesn't know it because the content creator maybe used different tag when uploading their content.
In most sites including porn does really have that typical fiat transactions and they dont really care those companies even if its really tagged on pornography or any sort of things.

As long they dont really get any complaints nor criticisms then that would surely continue until then and now that crypto did jump into this adoption or integration then
good for those who do really love anonymity when purchasing up some premiums.

Its a waste of coin actually if you can watch it for free. Tongue
Not many people in the world knows that fiat transaction can be traced if government wants to, so if someone is uploading a contents which is considered as violence then the fiat money they received can be used to track them that is why now people wants to get anonymity so they can be safe from any traces.

Of course we can watch porn for free but premium contents may not be available for free anywhere, you know this world has different types of people who loves to spend money on different useless desire satisfaction.
3838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the point of so many cryptocurrencies? on: January 01, 2021, 08:01:31 PM
The fact that there are so many cryptocurrencies on the market means that technologies are actively developing. The danger is that more than 80% of all these projects now have no future. Beginners should be very careful as new projects can also turn out to be cheaters.
Why are you afraid to say 90% of altcoins will end up badly for a long term investment ? LOL

On the one hand, more and more altcoins will indeed help trader choose potentially profitable asset other than bitcoin. Most of the altcoin will probably never be suitable for long term investment and few of them lead us to believe that they will last much longer. But on the other hand, altcoins have broken the focus of bitcoiners and made a lot of people lose out because of it. Profitable, but also detrimental. I'm even too confused about which altcoin is the best other than ETH at the moment for a long term investment.

It doesn't hurt to keep reminding beginners to be careful with altcoin on the market. They should not invest in altcoins carelessly, they should at least read and understand the white paper contents of each altcoin they choose for investment assets.
Not just 90%, possibly 99% of altoins were useless and not going to survive in the long term.Even if we take a look at the coins available in the top 10 list of marketcap data there is no stability there in all time chart market, it was changing from time to time which literally says that altcoins are not having bright future.

3840  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any relationship between Gold and Bitcoin ? on: January 01, 2021, 06:05:02 PM
Hello Everyone,
Wish you a Merry Christmas!

I am a crypto trader as well as a forex trader. I started working on forex recently. I saw some relationship between BTC and Gold. When the BTC pump Gold will fall. On the other hand when a Gold pumps, Btc down. Are there any who noticed this?
Not all the times and there is no proportion to both assets in the market, maybe people moving from one to another caused such movements but the market cap of gold is actually a way huge than bitcoin's at the moment so I am not convinced that movement of one is affecting other.

Yeah right, there's time that both are down and there are also time that both are moving upwards, though they've got some relations

since traders are just switch places, pump may happen to one venue while the other one will experienced dump, it's all about money

and how traders and investors work it out.
Or just the emotions of both the investors coincide each other at certain times or just act in the opposite way but for now bitcoin investors are floating in the air while the remaining traditional assets are very stable for a while.
