3821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 06, 2019, 07:53:03 PM
This one a good race compared to other Monaco races as the few last races here has not been eventful. This one yesterday was beautiful with many things that happened yesterday.I am sorry for Leclerc as the race would have been more beautiful with him being in the fight for the top positions.

The race was one of the most boring games for the last seasons.
Not any pressure to the first line up and also the fact That pit stops happen instantly doesn't give the opportunity for more different strategies.
3822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can lost Bitcoins be traced? on: June 06, 2019, 05:43:56 PM
How is it possible to track lost or stolen Bitcoins? While public addresses are not directly linked to a person's identity, the Blockchain itself is widely transparent. Knowing how many Bitcoin are lost is key towards establishing a correct circulating supply of the cryptocurrency.

As such, there might be a slight miscalculation on the total number of Bitcoin in circulation. If it's a lot more less than what's circulating, then I believe that Bitcoin's price should be higher due to its highly-limited supply.

Nonetheless, do you think it's widely possible to track lost Bitcoins? Your thoughts about this would be highly appreciated for educational/learning purposes. Smiley

I don't think that it is possible to made such a calculation.
Just imagine that a wallet is loaded once, some years ago and never again. Why these bitcoins should be calculated as lost or stolen? The investor just hodls them. Having said that, I don't think that the outcome will be accurate.
3823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain for voting on: June 06, 2019, 05:13:58 PM
Does any country use blockchain for election or voting? I know there are many countries who afraid of implementing blockchain into its sytem because then everything will be clear. If voting systems are created on the basis of blockchain technologies, then it is possible and possible to obtain reliable voting results without falsification. All the same, the blockchain is precisely created so that it cannot be changed from the outside, and in order to ensure complete security and confidentiality of data. It would be interesting to participate in the elections via the online voting platform.

i don't think that there would be any country that will allow their citizens to vote via a decentralized platform.
They don't want transparency apparently so they will try to hide the process as much as they can. My question is when this voting will take place in the blockchain, what makes the nodes to be trusted?
3824  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to explain blockchain/Bitcoin to millennials on: June 06, 2019, 04:24:35 PM
Hi, I'm not new to bitcoin & blockchain and I'm a full time trader with quite a little knowledge on tech background. I do trade cryptocurrency coins and studied a lot on blockchain technology. But I have a question, I always stumbled across this in my mind when people ask me why blockchain is the future, why should you care and buy?  Anybody can give me some tips and answer for this?

Would appreciate it.

Actually millennials are those who can understand the blockchain technology better than anyone else.
I would strongly recommend you to watch all the videos of Andreas Antonopoulos. He is a Bitcoin Expert and he shares a lot of content about blockchain in his media. Follow him on twitter if you wish.
3825  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Keep religious beliefs personal to promote peaceful coexistence on: June 06, 2019, 04:21:23 PM
There is only one religious belief that should be expressed in public, when there is no question asked of you. This is the fact that Jesus Christ died and arose for the sins of all people, so that all have the chance to be saved for eternal life.

Other expressions of religion should exist in simple question form, or in the way one lives his life. Ask simple questions to get info about the religion of others. If they ask you questions about your religion, then you can express the answers to what they ask. but do so with sensitivity to their feelings and their religion. True religion is to do good to all people. If expressing religious beliefs antagonizes other, they should be kept to one's self.

Cool

Everyone believes in different Gods so we have to respect that.
No religious expressing should be expressed and you just do it right now, which doesn't promote peace around people with different beliefs.
3826  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Society is knowledgeable but not wise. on: June 06, 2019, 04:00:49 PM

I find many instances in life where I think society is having all the data, facts and information (means they got knowledge) but still they are making bad choices. (lack of wisdom).

For ex: People know that overspeeding can cause accident (have knowledge) but still they overspeed (making bad choice, lack of wisdom)
People know that there bad eating  habit affecting their health but still they eat junk.
People know they should exercise but they ignore it.

I guess the list can go endless for many trivial things.

Do you guys know something that people in your neighbourhood/family/society knows very well but still exhibit bad choices?

This is the most crucial issue that society faces fight now. They don't have the critical mindset to interpret data and information.
They just absorb information without interpreting first. They modern pace of life has made us lazy and we don't want to think.
3827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 06, 2019, 03:58:08 PM

meanwhile Pirlo and Guardiola are at the same golf field right now  Grin

#PEPTEAM

What does that mean? That he is going to join Juventus?
Maybe they are good friends.  Grin
I hope that he is going to sign for Juventus. I want to see his football and playstyle being played in Italian League. I want to see if it will sucess as it did in the teams that he has managed.
3828  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to not care what the society thinks? on: June 06, 2019, 03:52:29 PM
Stop overthinking and do what you want.
If you overthink about what people is going to think then you have lost this game. Just not give a damn about them.
3829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TRONbet of TRON Network!!! Do you guys try the gambling site of TRON? on: June 06, 2019, 03:40:45 PM
The site may look nice, and it may have some cool features, but that doesn't discount the fact that the coin that is being used as the medium for payments on this site is centralized as many people have left the Tron board, directors, etc. as the coin is centralized.

I would never get involved with a centralized project, as any government could tell the Tron board that its time to stop what they're doing and reverse transactions -- them boom, you've lost everything. Stick to something decentralized, like BTC.

Governments can stop any coin they want if they decide to. Either it is TRX or BTC.
I prefer the decentralized featured to be applied in the casino that I gamble and not in the crypto that I gamble with.

The cost of stopping Bitcoin would be much larger than simply telling the Tron board that it's time to be fixed. The problem isn't with the ability of the coin being stopped, because if the government wanted to they could buy tons and tons of ASIC miners and just do their own thing. Though this would spark people mining through their GPUs as an opposition.

It's a fact that it's much easier to take over the Tron network with a phone call and a court order, rather than trying to take over the decentralized BTC network.

I didn't say taking over a network.
BTC can be stopped only if it will be blocked from all directions. And governments can do that easily. TRONbet is a great platform for anyone who wants to bet and much faster than betting with BTC.
You guys is already derailing this topic. This has nothing to do with such blockage either Btc or TRX. The thing we are talking here is a gambling site and why you people do
already come to the topic of stopping either of the networks? lol

On topic,i had to admit that TRX platform do have a attractable design but it doesnt spark out my interest on playing it.It do looks like a typical platform for me.

Well, I expressed my opinion about the casino, but the fellow forum member wanted to say something negative about the currency that it is played in the casino.
It wasn't so derailed but that's ok. I agree that the discussion should be focused more on the features of the casino.
3830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 06, 2019, 03:36:39 PM
The Raptors have been able to close the game out, game 3 won, and Raptors leads the series 2 - 1

This should have been 3-0 by now had the Raptors not thrown away game 2.

I picked Raptors to win this series and be crowned the NBA Champs in seven games but I would not mind if they finish the Warriors early  Grin

Who has the latest update on Warriors injury list?

Indeed. There is still room for the 3 - 1.
I think that Raptors is the greatest team in the NBA championship this year and I hope they are going to win the title.
3831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 06, 2019, 04:38:40 AM
Leonard was once again amazing.
I think that if he is in a good day he beats everyone, no matter if Kd, klay or anyone else plays. Good job for him and it gives more interest to the series
3832  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your BITCOIN price prediction this year? on: June 05, 2019, 05:29:20 PM
Let's have a little talk and let's say everyone's mind concerning BITCOIN BTC mooning, can it really beat as of last year price it Hits?

Let me have your thoughts so we know if it's recommended for those Newbies in the market to pick in now or stay off the market?

My opinion is that the price is going to be higher that last year's on the end of the year.
But I am not so optimistic like other people who believe that we are going to hit 10k till the end of June. I keep my basket small so that I will be happy with any profit that comes to my wallet.
3833  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Today my faith in humanity was restored on: June 05, 2019, 04:41:45 PM
Don't we all do it already? Tongue

By paying taxes from hard earnt income Wink

Maybe if in the first place we didn't spread the garbage out there on roads, we wouldn't need a Messiah person to clean it up like that.

In my country, the trash bin is mostly empty and all wastes go around the trash bin but not inside it.

Cutting down trees to make paper and then writing on the paper "save trees" is ironic xD

As a whole, we humanity have to find solutions to preventable disasters asap.

You are right, we have to hit the problem in its roots.
But don't forget that this is just an example. There are many other activities that we can do in order to help our fellow neighbors.
3834  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10000 is just around the corner it seems. on: June 05, 2019, 04:37:23 PM
I think $10,000 will happen here in June 2019.

My prediction is that Bitcoin price is going to mimic the previous big parabolic curve that went up to $20,000.

In June really? This is an absolutely optimistic scenario.
Where do you rely your prediction on? i think that after these bloody days I don't think that it is possible to reach 10k during June.
3835  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Did The Government Just Test The Internet Kill Switch? on: June 05, 2019, 04:25:40 PM
As I finally succeeded in explaining to my elderly aunt, Google is not the Internet.

You should try now again to explain the opposite.
3836  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Atheists/agnostics, do you feel afraid or fear that what if you are wrong? on: June 05, 2019, 04:20:24 PM
I was once a firm believer in God.

I just thought it made sense to believe in a God who's all powerful, all knowing, and I thought that's the only way the universe began, by the creation of God.

I was a believer not blindly, but, by choice. Because, my logic said that there is a God.

It's my same reasoning that has turned me into an agnostic today.

When I question, why was the universe so unorganized? Why did God create that piece of black holes thousands of light years away if his focus was on human beings, why would a God be so selfish that he wants eternal praise, what was God doing before creating everything and does God doesn't know something which he doesn't know?

I got the only answer, "you are human and can't understand God as he's beyond logic".

Hence, my weird questions got no satisfaction.

Today, I believe that the universe is itself eternal. Matter can neither be created nor destroyed and needs no God to create it.

However, I'm open to the idea of big bang as well as maybe, a powerful force (which can be called God) created it.

But I don't know, I can just believe. I can never know.

But since I was believer before, one of my part sometimes call me back saying you are wrong. You are on wrong path and just don't want to believe by your own choice. You will be I'm hell for it. And I get scared.

What's your opinion on it? Do you get this feeling too, how do you cope with it?

If you just rely the existence of God in the Big Bang then there is still not evidence on how the world was created.
And my thought, is what pushed the Big Bang to happen and the world was created? Because if it was something that Physical powers created then why it didn't happen again, and it happened only once?
3837  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Republican and Democratic senators seek to block Trump Saudi arms sales on: June 05, 2019, 04:07:11 PM
i don't understand why they want to block this plan.
It seems a very nice deal, 8 billion is a huge amount of money and it will help a lot the American economics. On the other side, they establish their alliance with Saudi Arabia.
3838  Economy / Speculation / Re: How news influence the market. on: June 05, 2019, 03:51:30 PM
Friends, how do you find out fake news? Do you think he impact of this news  hinders the development of the market greatly, or the rates fluctuate only on major hype and fakes do not prevent the market from going forward?

My biggest challenge is to find the valid news lol.
In my opinion, the majority of the websites that publish news around bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, just publish their speculations and they try to create fud/fomo around some projects.
3839  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where do you think Bitcoin will be by the end of 2019? on: June 05, 2019, 03:49:05 PM
Looks like everyone is predicting from $10k - $15k eoy.

Which is that kind of prediction is viable and there's a potential that it can go a little bit higher because of halving.

There are other news that can impact more negatively the price.
It is not only halving that can push the price down, but it can go it the other way. I usually rely more on news rather than technical analysis in explaining the price of bitcoin.
3840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: June 05, 2019, 03:40:26 PM
Well all big matches are over all leagues are over EL and CL are over. How its time for the Euro qualifying to go into next round. We will have two games for this exception is national teams that will play final in League of Nations. So let discuss for upcoming matches and predict something that will bring someone here some additional income.

I don't think that more matches are needed in order to cover the break when competitions are over.
Don't forget that football players need to rest a little bit, in order to be ready for the next season to be productive.
