Hey @Last of the V8s, are you ok?
11 days without WO?

Maybe he was embarrassed from posting such a bad meme.

Don't you guys know nuttin?

Just a couple of days ago, he said he would be gone for some weeks or maybe some months...

It was a cover story after having realized he posted quite possibly the weakest meme I've seen in at least a few days.
3822  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: NOMINEX - cheating hunters by delaying payment for THREE years on: November 24, 2020, 02:23:42 AM
I read over everything, took a look at their ICO numbers, current exchange volume, and even poked my head in the Telegram, and it would appear they weren't forthright enough about the conditions of the tokens that bounty hunters were receiving. Everything they did was perfectly fine except for telling the bounty hunters that they couldn't move or sell their tokens... for years!

If you can make a convincing case that the Nominex team purposely mislead bounty hunters and what they did with the tokens wasn't just an oversight error then I'll leave an at least neutral tag on their account as a warning, maybe red if they were clearly being dishonest. I wouldn't want people depositing money on an exchange if they are knowingly deceitful with their clients.

And if you make a flag on the NominexExchange I will support it.

Immediately I like Miami at +1 vs. Denver, might get in on that.

Did you play that in early markets already ? Because it's -3.5 now, which looks about right, but +1 is nice value.

Turns out I was looking at the line open and not the current line. Good thing I didn't put in a bet because Miami got schooled. After they took Tagovailoa out, it began to occur to me he was the only reason I was rooting for Miami, as they are otherwise a very boring team. I hope having one lackluster game out of six won't be enough to demote Tua to 2nd string, especially because the Dolphins O-line looked weak AF. Otherwise Fitzpatrick starts. Ew.

Last night, the Raiders almost beat the Chiefs, that would have been a spectacular upset. I didn't put a bet in on today's Rams game because I don't want to jinx their chances of winning, which aren't hot, but as my team I have to root for them anyway. Goff isn't much more exciting than your average quarterback but Cooper Kupp is a lot of fun to watch.

Selling XCP.

If you put a fair ask on the Counterparty DEX (up to 0.000075 BTC) I will buy up to 0.01 BTC worth of XCP from you. It will also act as a test experiment to confirm the XCP/BTC trade pair still functions. I would put a Buy order up but I fear it would just sit there until expiry, unfilled, thus negating the point of paying a tx fee to create the order.

Who do you guys like for tomorrow? Immediately I like Miami at +1 vs. Denver, might get in on that. Not really that many more interesting games for me on Sunday but on Monday we have Rams vs. Buccaneers. That's gonna be a great game. Of course I have to root for the Rams but I won't be putting in a bet as I've jinxed them 3 of 3 times this season.
3827  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think COVID19 is a scam? on: November 22, 2020, 05:16:01 AM

If coronovirus is not a scam then neither is the goddamn election! HAH! What are you fuckin serious? Well I got news for you buddy. You ain't gonna get away with this. You gonna pay, bigtime, for these unjustices unduly forced upon the good American people. They deserve better than this, we deserve better than this, and dang nabbit we ain't gonna take it no more! We ain't gonna lie down to no Black Lives Matter terrorists! STOP THE STEAL! How much is maximum supply of bcha?

AFAIK, its the exact same as it is for Bitcoin, which is very slightly less than 21 million. I've been watching BCHA and can't help but wonder if its going to grow into its own thing at some point. Who knows what the fair price for it is as there's barely any exchange or merchant support.
3829  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Thinking of joining the HEX campaign? Think again. on: November 22, 2020, 03:44:05 AM
All crypto is just speculation and the only thing people care about is the price.

Here you are fundamentally wrong. If that were true, there wouldn't be a bitcoin in the first place.

I notice a trend among people who get suckered into scams and post on the forum in defense of their scam. They all:

- believe making money is the only thing that matters, and anything goes in the pursuit of more money,
- believe everybody else is as shortsighted and amoral as they are, and
- have no remorse in encouraging the loss of others.

Their who approach is basically, "hey man, nothing matters but money, and I'll do or say anything to get it -- wouldn't you?" They don't realize most decent people would say "no, I wouldn't." They just don't get it.

Down to 22 sats today, after bouncing up a bit from 17. If you got in on this when it was at 1-3 sats then you are still doing pretty well. However, that was way back when, and looking at the volume I'm willing to bet most people are sitting on a loss. A lot of people got in at 3 sats but even more got in between 30 and 100.

This was kind of an interesting read but I can't verify the truthfulness of its claims:

3831  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: rpietila is a scammer and heavily in debt. New 2020 scam info enclosed on: November 21, 2020, 12:29:56 AM
Rpietilä has succumbed to road accident on the 14th of august 2020.

Source?  Link or it did not happen.

His facebook says "Remembering Risto Pietila", which takes an obituary.

https://www.facebook.com/people/Risto-Pietil%C3%A4/100017679760266

However, I can't find the obituary. I remember people were discussing it elsewhere back in August, on a Twitter post somewhere. Maybe he had another name?

There isn't much under his name on Google but somebody did make a Wikipedia page for him in Finnish, after his apparent death.

3833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WAX - Worldwide Asset eXchange by OPSkins on: November 19, 2020, 10:45:37 PM
I'm exactly NFT interested in that. It turns out using the standard dGoods? Is it possible to send NFTs to another EOS accounts outside WAX network?

No, its not possible as the NFT information is stored on the WAX blockchain only.

It's amazing that people pay big bucks for Blue Apron meal plans, but we think meal plans for the poor are somehow inhumane... fuck me.

Did your account get hacked or something?

so on coffee and smokes I saved over 250,000 bucks.

Just buy Folgers and rolling tobacco, problem solved.
3835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCHA) dead? on: November 18, 2020, 08:47:05 AM
This is what TradingView thinks of BCH (formerly known as BCHN):

Meanwhile BTC is approaching all-time highs, and this outlook is not shared by BTC.

As for BCHA, its hanging in there at $18.73. I'm still surprised its not dead. It must be incredibly vulnerable to 51% attacks ATM. But at the same time, I'm impressed that Sechet is carrying it to full term birth instead of aborting it in the face of obvious rejection.
3836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shill me your altcoin. on: November 18, 2020, 03:30:38 AM
I think defi could be the catalyst of the next cycle, such as ICO in 2017.
What are your favorite coins related to the DEFI ?

OK so if DeFi stands for Decentralized Finance then my favorite DeFi coin is Bitcoin, and #2 is Ethereum. That's pretty much all you need to decentralize your finances. I've been doing it for years already. All this staking coins to earn other coins is too Ponzi-esque for my tastes. The obscure DeFi coins you are "yield farming" only have value if more people rush into it after you. They serve no actual purpose.

I'd say the actual percentage of people using DeFi for what it is purportedly intended is far less than 1%. Unless you believe the purpose behind DeFi is to "make money," in that case it is 100%.
3837  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BETA] BPIP Extension - user info add-on / extension for Firefox, Chrome, et al on: November 17, 2020, 11:37:13 PM
The new version has been released for both Firefox and Chrome and the OP has been updated with the latest details.

Looks good. Creating include/exclude buttons for trusts lists is some next level shit. It will be interesting to see if there is an uptick in trust list adjustments in the upcoming days.
3838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCHA) dead? on: November 17, 2020, 10:26:45 PM
Price of BCHA now up to $20, gaining 70% over the last 24 hours. This coin still has some life in it. For as much preparation and time Sechet committed into the new BCHA, he's not prepared to just abandon it all. Looks like BCHA will be coming into its own -- not sure who's going to use it, or for what, though.
3839  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I Leave cryptocurrency and hate cryptocurrency on: November 17, 2020, 08:33:51 AM
Hah, I should read this section of the forum more often. This guy put forward some crazy offers where people lend him thousands of dollars in crypto for no collateral and hope everything goes as planned. He seems to think people here would just willingly lend him large sums of money, but unfortunately that is not the case.
3840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCHA) dead? on: November 17, 2020, 07:01:42 AM
not looking good for bcha

amaury sechet will come back crawling on the bch team

I can't believe he truly though btax was gonna fly with anybody. It's almost like he decided to torpedo Bitcoin ABC on purpose. There was a dip in the price of BCH (which is most obviously BCHN now) yesterday, but it seems to have more or less "recovered" for the moment. Speaking of btax, that would be a good ticker for BCHA.
