Wow, the hate is real.

(somebody deleted my congratulations message to workers day.)

(Mine too, and I had the nice posters and everything. I don't think these guys are very fond of labour unions)
(Wasn't that almost a month ago? 1st of may?)

Yeah, but the red flame burns deep. Plus, we can't let ChartBuddy hog the thread.

I looked at the Adam's BitMovements thread today and noticed Adam's Cheap Coins Target was 375 on September 25, 2014. However, Adam's Cheap Coins Target is only 234.99 today.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=796276.0

What will his Cheap Coins Target be next September?
$1498

Why ? Troll ?

Sure

Bitcoin Tracker One is at an all time high at Nasdaq Stockholm, but the volume is still tiny.

Noticed that as well. Looks like usd/sek moving. In BTC terms it's still $236.

If you ask me, whether it pumps first or not, it's gonna eventually go to double digits, where we'll see if this market is actually bound to reverse and see another bull market or slowly fade into obscurity.

This suggest that you see bitcoin only as some candlestick chart and value it based on "technical analysis" of past market performance.

I guess a lot of people do that. Probably the only reason the price is as low as it is.

Well.... it works then?!
3839  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 25, 2015, 09:00:40 PM
before bitcointalk down: around 232
bitcointalk down: 240+
bitcointalk back up: 238 and falling.

seems the trolls from here have some influence on prices

of course trolls are powerfull beings, never doubt that  Grin

It started to fall long before bitcointalk went back up. In fact it was down to about 237 before bitcointalk went back up. Afterwards the price went up to about 238 for a while. I think the price going down had more to do with the news of the ~1500 Bitcoins stolen from Bitfinex.

Those small price movements have nothing to do with those recent developments. It can be all explained by technical analysis of the bitcoin market.

Quite a lot of people will empty out their fiat from an exchange by buying BTC and try to GTFO when it is hacked. That, coupled with finex asking customers to stop making deposits, makes me think it's no coincidence that finex led the recent rise.

I, and I guess most others in this thread, expected a rise because of this on Friday. What is encouraging thus far is the lack of a serious crash afterwards. But the dust might not have settled yet.
3840  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: What tax bracket to register under as a miner on: May 25, 2015, 05:47:33 PM
LOL TAXES, are you friggin' kidding?  Bitcoin is a tax free deal!  I never reported a penny of the money I made by selling my Litecoins back when the price spiked, and there's no bank records of it either because it never went through my bank!

Screw the government, they will not spend the money wisely so they get none of mine!  Except for regular W2 job income, can't help that.

2 cents off per kwh could be much more lucrative than tax evasion.
