If Mashinsky faked assets' numbers it's going to get worse for him yet... He made it through an official document attached to the bankruptcy proceedings.

Wait, they are still paying weekly dividends with the same rates? Crazy...
Yes, every monday I receive a notification from them. Tongue
It really makes no sense for a company which is theoretically trying to recover itself from a huge debt, unless they had to file bankruptcy first, before stopping paying dividends.
3822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gambling companies can get more users to deposit. on: July 15, 2022, 06:04:19 AM
Based on my experience the reason why I make a play or deposit with the gambling casino is because of their security of course as a user I want to make sure that my information is secured and protected, it is ideal without KYC too for keeping anonymously. Next are the promos which have a lot of in favour with the players such as the increasing of the odds and the promos and perks for their active players.

It's a good base for entering a casinos gambling buddy. I can definitely say that there are good gambling casinos, and there are others that are not good either. That's why it's still better to check out an incoming casinos gambling platform first. So that we don't have any doubt that eventually we will blame the casino we entered.
Security and legitimacy are a must, but it isn't the only characteristic to look for when choosing a casino, because there are many legit reputable casinos around on the same proportion, that there will be a tie when comparing every of them to each other, so another characteristic will be needed to be spotted by the gambler to break the tie and finally pick one of them to deposit and play.

That is the beauty of the competition where casinos must be constantly competing to each other in order to offer the best and most attractive service to potential customers.
3823  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto lender Celsius mulls possible restructuring amid financial woes on: July 14, 2022, 09:52:40 PM
Celsius claimed to have 22 000 ASICS, since we know they have S19, and we can from here go and think of 6 cents per kwh including other costs at maximum, so one part of their operation, Celsius Mining LLC should still be profitable, we're talking about $3 million a month, of course, peanuts compared to the 1.1 billion but there is still chance for that to survive, plus about at least $100 million in assets here.

One more piece of bad news, $600 million in assets are CEL tokens, this might be just another 600 million hole.

Does it mean they still have 4,31$ billion dollars in assets? If so, and if those informations are legit, it's not terrible, because they still maintain more than 75% of users' funds and could potentially recover totally in few years through lending without major risks. They just need to stop increasing debt, that is, they should stop paying weekly dividends to investors.

Regards the mining business, what is more interesting at this point, to keep running the mining operations or to sell the farm to raise funds faster, taking advantage of the low price of bitcoin, so they can hold for the next bull run?
3824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the highest APY you have ever seen on a project? on: July 14, 2022, 07:00:59 PM
There is every sort of APY you can imagine around. Just for curiosity I searched for it right now, as I though the highest APY was 1000%, but for my surprise I've found an above 100,000% fixed APY project!

It's called Titano and I have no idea if it's still operational or not. Anyway, you shouldn't invest on it for obvious reasons, right? Even if you receive the APY as promised, you can expect the token is going to devalue on the same proportion. That is, if a currency pays 80% annually, it will devalue 80% annually or more...

Just for informational purposes, this is the official website:

Customers are definitely screwed. Looks like they want to keep getting paid and the regular Joe will most likely be the last one to get anything (at all).
They have no respect or consideration for average users. It is very clear on their last tweet, when they made sure to differentiate stakeholders from the rest of the community.
It couldn't be different anyway, since they were gambling with customers' funds while telling them everything was under control and the risks were low.

3826  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: July 14, 2022, 07:13:51 AM
It's nice to see such experiment, although i don't agree with your (over)use of colors Cheesy
I'll watch this thread. Keep us posted.
Thanks, hehe! Cheesy

@Uneng, are you not locking your tokens?, indeed it will be possible to miss the train if there is a price increase on FUN if locking within a year period, but locking it every 15 days or 30 days will also give you other benefits
Yes, I'm locking every 30 days and selling the surplus for profit. I could lock for a longer time period for extra %, but for now it's probably better to enjoy the season, as each FUN is selling for 37 satoshis.
3827  Economy / Economics / Re: The BTC price must stabilize in the long run. on: July 14, 2022, 05:37:49 AM
I would say will agree with this one but i don't think this is possible you can take a look at the gold, Gold can fight against inflation and you can see the price of gold is driven up and this happen to bitcoin that i would say fight against inflation as well but crypto is volatile in short term like bitcoin did
Bitcoin price is volatile because there are too many coins held in few hands. If there were less whales, bitcoin would become more stable. That is how market manipulation loses strength and impact, since bullish and bearish tendencies would be smoother, so investors in general don't feel forced to sell their portfolios due to possible crashes and consequently there isn't panic selling waves.
Thankfully, it's already happening, although in short steps and small dosages. But I really think potential and small investors should pay more attetion to this reality and help bitcoin to become really decentralized, that is, splitted among most hands as possible.
3828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Threshold of Loss in Gambling on: July 14, 2022, 04:42:08 AM
My question is, can you remember a time when you reached your threshold of loss while gambling?
Usually if I lose the amount I earn from the signature campaign week it's already enough to stop playing and to give a break for a decent time. This way, i don't lose too much money and I can always have hopes and expectations of recovering that amount someday later. It has already happened with a 50$ loss or something like that during a very short gambling session, and I felt a bitter taste on my mouth. That was my loss threshold.

By managing losses we can keep gambling without any issues on long run. The problem starts when the gambler can't stop anymore and keeps losing hundreds or thousands of dollars every time he decides playing. Then gambling stops being a hobby and starts being a curse on his life...
3829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need bitcoin! on: July 14, 2022, 03:20:25 AM
In my opinion it's utopia to live without banks and I'm not referring to fiat traditional banks as the only option disponible, since we also have crypto banks operating. You don't need banks to store money, but you need to partner with banks to invest your funds or borrow money, for an example. What we can do is to decrease the importance and presence banks have in our daily life to minimize the risks of being scammed or having our money seized, although it's not interesting to live without them if you have plans of growing your patrimony.
3830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gambling companies can get more uses to deposit. on: July 13, 2022, 07:22:09 PM
For me there are only two withdrawl methods that matter: cryptocurrency or direct, free and fast transaction to fiat account. No Paypal or similar services aren't an option for me, because they have abusive taxes in counterpart. But what will really encourage me to deposit are the promotions and benefits the platform offer to customers.

An interesting feature I've seen at a local popular online fiat casino that could be adopted by crypto casinos as well, is to reward gamblers with free spins at slots machine every new level they reach with their accounts. It's similar to VIP program, but with more levels, so the more you bet, more levels you increase and more free spins you collect.
3831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Have Donated My Campaign BTC to buy Laptop for Practical Classes on: July 13, 2022, 06:47:50 PM
Besides bitcoin, it's also bitcointalk forum making the difference in people's lives. Many of you might think not, but signature campaigns are a life changing for dozens or maybe hundreds of common citizens who wouldn't have any opportunites to thrive financially if it wasn't for this forum and the services promoting their brands here.

It's the solution for those who can't find a solution for themselves on their local areas and regions, while at same time it's a tool to help those precarious areas to thrive somehow, like OP did purchasing a laptop to share knowledge with his village.
3832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In a world of financial oppression Bitcoin is the the only escape route on: July 13, 2022, 01:09:51 AM
Governments have already reached bitcoin environment as well. It won't take too long until every countries which have a neutral approach to cryptocurrency create their own arbitrary rules and regulations to crush individuals who have been dealing with bitcoin by now without any complications and issues. If you really enjoy the way you use bitcoin freely, without intervention from third party agencies, it's advised you find a territory to live where authorities will respect your lifestyle. So far the most friendly country to crypto I have seen is Portugal, where crypto gains aren't taxed and El Salvador, where bitcoin was turned into official currency. But between these two options, life quality must be superior in Portugal, although more expensive.
3833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Axie Infinity's NFT volume is up 205%, the project co-founder says 'nature is he on: July 12, 2022, 10:16:14 PM
This increasement in volume hasn't impacted SLPs positively so far, since they are still pricing dust of cents of dollar (US$ 0,003). Actually SLP has hit its bottom today. Developers need to create new usages for SLP in order to boost its demand and price again. The last major update which removed rewards from adventure mode didn't help SLP price balance and stability in anyways. It seems it happened exactly the opposite, because many players don't like PVP mode, so they just lost interest for the game once they were forced to play against other players for rewards.

But I can't blame Axie at all. It is the most successful NFT game of the industry, which has been efficient in fighting cheaters and keeping the environment sustainable for a long time already. And that is not too little for a limited game which doesn't offer many features, diferent from mmorpgs of the same NFT niche which could be on the top of the world, but aren't because they do nothing to stop bots, scammers and abusers in general.
3834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you guys invest meme coins now? on: July 12, 2022, 09:07:33 PM
Memecoins offer nothing to investors on long run, so if you are an investor who have financial plans for the future you should think twice before engaging yourself on this kind of investment. On the other hand, if you are simply gambling with your funds, memecoins can be an alternative, although I think to gamble at casinos is offer better odds than the odds of making profit through memecoins. Someone willing to invest on this category of altcoins must be aware many have already lost money with such investments, including Shiba Inu, which is considered reference among memecoins.

I would like to share my personal 500,000 FUN token investment statistics and real time updates with the micro earnings community, so you can see how it works for real and what is the potential of the tier 1 premium package.

Nice thread.Nice looking someone active in the forum and specifically in this thread owning the top tier of FUN tokens.I checked your link in the thread and your stats are looking good,I personally think it would be better to have that near 0.15 Bitcoin in the Freebitco.in balance giving you like 1700 Satoshi everyday and to keep a good number of FUN tokens to have a decent number of spins daily,i.e like more than 10 spins. This way you would be fighting in two fronts, the interest you would get for doing nothing and from the spins to add extra Satoshis and other prizes. The only downsize to that would be if the FUN token increase insanely in price and you miss from this. This is my personal opinion and what I would do,but having 500.000 FUN tokens is a huge achievement and congrats to you on that.
Thank you. You are right. The idea is to get advantage of every benefits the package offers.

Bitcoin holdings are going to impact the investment from this new month on through the 17,5% interest rates bonus. That is, from all generated interest daily income, only 17,5% of that amount will appear on the spreadsheet, since it's the proportional value to what the premium package offers.

Previously I didn't add bitcoin interest income to the spreadsheet, because the premium benefit doesn't give any boost during the first month.

This is a very interesting thread, thank you for creating it but I haven't understood what "WHEEL INCOME" is representing precisely, it's only the satoshis you are winning or you have also included the RPs won like for your CASHBACK WAGER INCOME calculation?
As you say 1RP can be exchanged against 1satoshi at the end, so it would be more accurate to count them in your wheel income if it's not the case IMO.
Thanks. "Wheel Income" includes satoshis and RPs rewards together, but only RPs earned spinning the wheel.
RPs from gambling activity will appear at the first column, "Cashback Wager Income + RP".
3837  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: July 12, 2022, 07:38:22 PM
I'm glad you all liked. Thanks for the replies.

Very interesting thread, thanks OP! But maybe it is better to move to the gambling section, it will also get more attention there. It will be interesting to see how like it will take before you break even!
Quick question about the "wheel income". Is that just the satoshis that you get from the 13 daily WOF spins or do you also include the amount of RP?
Yes, that is a possible idea, let's see... I wasn't sure where to post, because the subject is more about investment than gambling, so i thought this would be the most accurate section.

"Wheel income" includes satoshis + RPs.

Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment

On this thread I'm going to share my personal investment's updates in Top 1 Tier FUN Token package (500,000 FUN) at Freebitco.in.

To better understand how the premium program works, I'm going to post this spreadsheet containing all the achievable boosts' rates offered and how long the investment takes until investors can receive them:

The investment offers benefits for micro earners, gamblers and investors. So, if you fall under at least one of those categories it might interest you. You can start having access to premium program from 2500 FUN holdings on and the best cost benefit package is without any doubts 12,500 FUN. Here I'm going for the 500,000 FUN one, though, in order to maximize the experience.

Total investment potential will be reached after 360 days holding.

Updates are going to be made in a monthly basis. This experiment can be useful if you are willing to invest, but don't know what to expect from it, or it can be just interesting as curiosity.

THE BEGINNING (12/06/2022 - 11/07/2022) ROI - 0,0856%

Below you can see the result after the first month of investment. As we can see on the spreadsheet above, not too much can be expected, since the first month of investment give us access only to 13 WOF (Wheel of Fortune) spins daily. Personally, I wasn't lucky at anytime and got only base rewards every day, with the exception of one day where I hit 500 satoshis once at wheel, but that is all. Being lucky you could hit 5000 satoshis or RP prizes. From next month on income is going to rise considerably, once more boosts become available.

        INFO

  • FUN TOKENS: number of FUN tokerns purchased. I already had 12,962 FUN, so i bought only 487,038 FUN to reach the final package.
  • VALUE UNIT: price paid in satoshis of BTC for each FUN.
  • INVEST. TOTAL: total investment amount in BTC.
  • BTC INT. %: bonus interest percentage paid on BTC investment.
  • FUN INT. %: interest paid on FUN holdings for locking it for different time periods.
  • FUN LOCK PERIOD: for how long I'm locking my tokens.
  • CASHBACK WAGER INCOME + RP: satoshis + reward points received back for playing on multiplier or betting on events. 1 satoshi equals to 1 RP, so they can be added.
  • WHEEL INCOME: rewards from Wheel of Fortune.
  • BTC INTEREST: extra interest paid by premium boost. Base interest rate (4,08%) will be excluded from the daily calculation.
  • FUN INTEREST: profit from FUN sales.
  • *SPINS BUG: 13 lost daily wheel's spins regarding 09/07/2022 due to an internal error on the platform.

I'M NOT PART OF FREEBITCO.IN's TEAM IN ANYWAYS AND THIS IS JUST MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AS A COMMON USER OF THE WEBSITE, LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!

3840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gets more attention on: July 11, 2022, 10:14:38 PM
Bitcoin is getting more attention from companies because they know the price is going to increase soon, so they want to be prepared for it once this happens. I just think customers' satisfaction and welfare aren't the priority for these companies, rather it's all about their own profit. I say that because customers are being smashed by annoying and ridiculous regulations, while businesses adopting bitcoin don't give any importance to it.

One example of that is crypto.com platform, which doesn't allow users to cashout fiat funds to any banking accounts until users make a deposit on the platform through that same banking account they are trying to withdraw to. Moreover, that account must be attached to their name and ID as well, otherwise it's not possible to transfer money. Consequently, money can't be transfered to anyone and users are restricted to debit card for all daily transactions, what isn't enough to fully replace traditional banking system for real.

i expect at some point, you won't be able to transact bitcoin freely, because regulators will create a kind of whitelist addresses you can deal with and a blacklist containing the forbidden ones... All with connivance of such companies.
