That is exactly what i am doing and saying to everyone. I never store coins, never hold them. I buy them only when i need and turn them into FIAT when i am done.  You haven't experienced the benefit of holding. This is the reason you continuously turn it to fiat. I use only in the need of emergency, till that everything will be idle within my wallet experiencing the regular growth. |

I think bitcoin has a great future ahead of it. was listening to a talk yesterday that was saying the future is bright.
In my expectation, bitcoin will surely take a lead in the digital currency. It will also get used as a payment gateway for most online stores. As most threads it won't make the other currency use get reduced. Future seems to be good at a moment and lets hope that price will be good at the time of halving as if price doesn't improve then there will be a big question mark on the future of bitcoin. Future will be good. From its existence it has grown as a big competitor to most of the currencies. Just because of its usage only in the digital form has not reached most users. So soon these issues gets rectified and reaches most people which is highly needed for a better future. |

Bitcoin is in the early years of development, just like a child, making slow progress in life, learning new things everyday. If somehow, something terrible happens that leads to bitcoin's disappearance, better to have many baskets to put your eggs on. It's always a good thing to have other sources of money, be it digital or our everyday money.
If Bitcoin will disappear than many people will get mad because there are now a lot of people that is still using Bitcoin that much and that is the problem that it cant disappear. You also see now that Bitcoin is getting more used and more popular so that is quite nice for the currency itself. Honestly saying I can not see any reasons why BTC will disappear in 10 years, yes in 50 years, I can understand. But if bitcoins disappears I would hardly be online for 1 hour, because I do spend all my time using BTC and it's associated things. Exactly none has a valid reason to describe the reason Why bitcoin gets disappear in the future or over few years. In my opinion bitcoin grows high and reaches big heights. Its time to discuss on those facts than the disappearing. |

I am mining the coins and hold most of the bitcoin. I believe the price will rise in the near future.

now there are many countries that are not yet using bitcoin. The main reason is because bitcoin citizens now have not recognized their integrity by the government and are not guaranteed by a financial institution reliable.
Well if you think about it. There are still some countries that are marginalized that i wouldnt be surprised if they dont have stable internet connection yet. And i guess this is one factor to consider. Internet connection is much needed for the growth of bitcoin. Only few countries are lacking internet accessibility. Even 3rd world countries has got best access to internet compared to grown countries. |

what i do is that i always keep an emergency money in the bank with my bank card so it is always at hand for cases of emergency and each month i deduct my expenses and spend that money and if by any chance there is anything left over i would invest it, most probably in bitcoin.
Having some amount for emergency needs is really good thing. I could suggest to make a insurance with half the amount you save every month for your emergency needs which helps you even better at times than just saving. |

I think paper money would still exist and bitcoin can't replace it. Maybe in some countries will make it as their currency. But i guess not all, some people in 3rd world countries will prefer to choos paper money. Therefore it will keep its existence

Granted not a lot of retailers accept BTC yet but with all the services available now they dont need to.

Guess we got a very different country. Spending it here through bitcoin in a retail shop in a mall or some stores is really hard. But I got the same story regarding paying bills online and it is really handy you wont need to fall in line paying it. Spending coins is not good now, buying can be done now as price is not too high. price is going to rise after few months, so wait patiently for few more months and obtain a worthy amount. Spending now is the worst thing to do as if you spend now then you are loosing your profits, its better to hold and earn additional profits by selling at the time of halving. Yeah it doesn't look to be the right time to spend your earned bitcoins. The price is expected to rise within few months. so its better to hold and spend after halving. |

BTC-USD had less than 5% price change in the same period.

Yes the bitcoin can go to such amount although it would be pretty hard for the bitcoin, luckily we got the halving that most likely let it happen if everything will go like it has been planned for the bitcoin.

Yes I also hope it could happen. But to reach $ 800 in my opinion for this year and can not be very difficult, because I still need more time and to $ 800 this year is still too short. we are pretty close to halving now and after several weeks no increase for bitcoin prices seems today slowly but sure the prices has rise up and i had buying during prices $430 and the current prices $435-$438 but i'm still hold my bitcoin and hoping we will reach to $440 today or tomorrow
I think we're not much close to the halving. Only the price rise happening is just of the technology and on its gradual rise. The halving effects will cause a increase in price when you are one or two weeks away from halving date. |
