3841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Adoption in terms of users on: March 18, 2015, 03:09:11 PM
The people will start to "search" or better adopt a new alternative when they will understand that the FIAT money (with this actual economic system) is only a *joke*. Then in that case I think a lot of people will join this "experiment" (or better this reality alternative).
3842  Other / New forum software / Re: Screenshots from epochtalk on: March 18, 2015, 02:27:46 PM
Thank you so much . I really was looking to see the updated forum , because the screenshots from December are just too old .
Btw , like on this screen here http://bitcoin.powaaa.com/tmp/epochtalk/profile_complete.png , the Bitcoin adress is screwing the charts is that normal/display issue or you just the code little bit and messed up ?

This is the reply for your question :

These are instructions to install the server software that will in the future run on bitcointalk.org. Forum users will not be required to install anything with the new software.

Note that the software is not yet feature-complete (in particular, the Web design is far from done), and the public repository doesn't contain everything already done.
3843  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Tourists killed in Tunisia museum attack on: March 18, 2015, 02:12:30 PM
Another part of a bbc article :

British, Italian, French and Spanish nationals were among those taken hostage, local radio reported. The shooting happened at the Bardo Museum, which is next to the parliament building in central Tunis. At the time of the attack deputies were discussing anti-terrorism legislation. Parliament has now been evacuated. "A terrorist attack [targeted] the Bardo Museum," interior ministry spokesman Mohamed Ali Aroui told journalists. He said that the attack involved "two or more terrorists armed with Kalashnikovs". Most tourists were evacuated but some were still believed to be inside, Mr Aroui said, adding that security forces had entered the museum. The museum, renowned for its collection of antiquities, is a major attraction in Tunis.

I don't know if they are "affiliated" to the ISIS group, or only a "crazy" separated terrorist operation. I will report here more articles in the next few hours.
3844  Economy / Lending / Re: hello on: March 18, 2015, 02:03:48 PM
What do you need? It is necessary simply to verify the account. I promise that within the hour money will back.

Have you read this sticky thread ?  The Rule of "No Collateral, No Loan" - IGNORE AT YOUR OWN RISK! (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577765.0) :

Tl;dr:

"In general the amount lenders will be looking for is collateral equal to 110%-120% of the amount you are being loaned. Why is this? Well, first, they want to discourage you from running off with the funds. Collateral also needs to be something that can easily be sold, which brings me to my second point - your $500 worth of ink isn't going to cut it as collateral. Normally lenders will want things such as Altcoins or precious metals, although things that can be sent electronically are preferred.

A common question is why don't I just sell my collateral? Well the reasoning behind collateral is that you think it's going to appreciate in price or do not want to sell it, encouraging you to pay back the loan to have your collateral returned."

-come rendere sicuri e irrintraciabili i propri coin

3846  Local / Alt-Currencies (Italiano) / Re: Darkcoin, come funziona il darksend? on: March 18, 2015, 01:38:39 PM

3847  Local / Annunci / Re: [CLAM] Lucriamo sui vecchi indirizzi on: March 18, 2015, 01:27:57 PM
Scusate...

I hope to see these exchange closed very soon, the future is not "centralized" and we need a new type of exchange  peer-to-peer (the basic). Like the mercury "wallet" but it is still in the alpha version. I suggest you to read this thread :

- Exchanges: their way of using a fractional-reserve and generate inflation.

Aren't you advertising an exchange yourself in your signature? Well it's still very difficult to have a decentralised exchange for FIAT, since that is by definition centralised.

Yes , but I don't keep my "bitcoin" in any exchange. When I want to "exchange" some bitcoin for euros or dollars I send them on an exchange, sell them and request my FIAT money (fastly). I know that a lot of users are keeping a lot of bitcoins in the various exchange, and these people cry after an hack attack "stole" their bitcoins.
3849  Other / Politics & Society / Tourists killed in Tunisia museum attack on: March 18, 2015, 01:19:47 PM
Armed men have killed seven tourists and a Tunusian citizen in an attack on a museum in Tunisia's capital Tunis, according the interior ministry spokesman.

Tunisian media reports also suggested that Tunisia's National assembly adjacent to the museum also came under attack on Wednesday, with politicians saying gunfire could be heard at the scene.

"There are eight victims" including "seven foreigners", ministry spokesman Mohamed Ali Aroui told reporters.

Just to keep it in mind , if anyone has 2009-2011 accounts , they would sell it for AT LEAST 0.5 coins if not 1+ , there are very few ones and they worth a whole lot more then you think. Even brand new ones.

Account age is not important, it normally doesn't increase an account price. Activity/rank is the main factor and avatar and trust can change the price too.
OP, may I ask why you want an old account?

Not necessarily, if someone has registered an account in the 2010-2011 maybe he could forgot it and rejoin the forum after 2-3 years (in this case the account would be from 201x but still newbie or jr.member, due the activity system).
I know what you signature campaign guys doing. Don't SPAM this thread. Only post here when you are really want to sell me an account or, a guy don't have sig. campaigns but to provide information or express their opinion here. But not a guy who just wanted to earn money in sig. campaign.

Ok, in this case add your rules in the OP (you can "impose them"). Good luck with your business.

...
He's trying to speak louder in more threads since when he seems to try to contact Havelock or AMhash directly, they tell him all kinds of crap, thus, he resorts to the forum.
I understand his concern, but I think it is not "wise" to create 9 threads for only one "subject". It is more better to create a unique topic with all the information and "accusations".

3854  Other / Meta / Re: Banned on: March 18, 2015, 09:59:20 AM

The scammers are not banned from the forum, the spammer ... yes. As I said : Try to way 30 days an send an appeal to a forum administrator.

So if I get scammed anytime, I have no right to complain to the MOD and they aren't interested nor concerned about me getting scammed?

Exactly ,you have not the right to complain to a staff member but you can open a thread (with all the information) in the "scam accusation" section (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0). This is the unique thing that you can do, nothing else.
3855  Other / Meta / Re: Anyway to look out deleted messages? on: March 18, 2015, 09:34:53 AM
I notice some of my messages was deleted. Maybe due to the limit of messages each person could have. Is there anyway to retrieve deleted messages? I have two important messages that was deleted.

Yes of course, you should check in your PM inbox (every deleted message "is sent there").
3856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Complete the sentence... [I would buy Bitcoin because..] on: March 17, 2015, 06:48:17 PM
I would buy bitcoin because I like the concept of this new "currency", not governed by anyone. It is a sort of "get back the economy freedom" if we use it directly and not convert in FIAT currencies.
3857  Other / Meta / Re: ‌‌ on: March 17, 2015, 06:33:27 PM
Where did you create threads? You can't delete threads in certain boards.

Are you sure that you can't delete threads only in certain boards?
You can delete threads only if nobody has seen them.
No. That's not a correct. There are certain boards in which deletion of posts is not allowed, like Auction section, digital goods and a few others. However you can delete your posts in majority of the sections.
This has really nothing to do with if anyone has seen the post or not.

You are wrong, the OP was referring about topics not the posts. Maybe he has tried to delete a topic created by him and he failed, I think you cannot delete a topic where someone has replied to it.
3858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When is the last coin mined? on: March 17, 2015, 06:18:39 PM
Ah okay, makes sense. So who/what determines the TX fee? I understand how the mining power and BTC price would affect it, but what ultimately sets it? Is it different for each wallet, or is it constant throughout the entire bitcoin network?

The minimum fee suggested is 1000 satoshi/Kb, you decide the fee. If you want you can also put 0.01 btc as fee, but it is no sense (at the moment) because I think we will reach 0.01 btc (as fee) when the block reward will be less than 0.50 BTC and the fee will be more important than the reward block itself.
3859  Other / Meta / Re: Banned on: March 17, 2015, 05:33:17 PM
The admin does not allow any user to create a new account here after getting a permanent ban. I guess if you want to continue being a member, you can try and register with a new account using a new IP.

It is not wise to give this type "advice" here in the Meta section, I think he will (probably) be caught and banned *again* for ban evasion. Try to way 30 days an send an appeal to a forum administrator.

Was he banned as he was a scammer or a spammer. If it's the later then I don't find anything wrong in joining again. Well there are many things going on here which have already put me off the RULES of the forum.
