3841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do meme coins have a future? on: June 11, 2023, 06:30:50 PM
Predicting the future of memecoin is like predicting the future of people's lives,
because it's like you are gambling, Memecoin doesn't have a roadmap, team, and even developers,
this is why I say predicting the future of memecoin is like we are gambling.
If you ascribe memecoins prediction to that of people's lives then you may be wrong simply because human liflifesaverroad map since one can carefully plan out their life, just like Satoshi Nakamoto who developed and planned out Bitcoin and this forum at the same time this is what makes the much impact of our lives today just by the life plans of another person.

But memecoin has no plan and the only thing is just the hype that surrounds the projects and that is why we have to take them as a gamble because we can't predict their future.
3842  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful and don’t promote a scam campaign on: June 11, 2023, 06:19:13 PM
People should have some sort of moral compass period and there are a lot here that do not. Some will promote a company scam or not. Like your example 1xbit, there are at least 50 users who ruined their accounts once 1xbit stops advertising for just a few bucks a week. Maybe they're all owned by the same person as suggested by others, maybe not but they're all worthless accounts once 1xbit leaves this forum.

1xbit is a known scam company. Advertising or even applying in their thread will lead you to have a neg trusted account. What about companies that aren't labeled a scam yet? You left this out of your presentation. If a company is found to be a scam, the manager and the participants should cease all advertising for that company. This will save everyone from getting painted red for advertising that company.

The most important factor to note in all of this is when the user knows that the company is a proven scam and still went ahead knowingly promotes such company the user should be guilty of the same offence as the principal and the tag is justified.

Just as you said Yahoo that we as members should have some moral justification and responsibility to check the services we promote via our signature or avatar because we are directly luring users to those companies.
3843  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria SEC tag binance operations illegal on: June 11, 2023, 05:23:31 PM
First I don't see anything wrong in the move by the sec to regulate the cryptocurrency exchanges and other payment agents that transact and have offices in Nigeria to get regulated and taxed, I believe the cryptocurrency market in Nigeria is producing a lot of volumes and in other, for the government to get access to this payments to get it taxed is through the cryptocurrency services such as centralized exchange and if you may ask me I will say that this move by the sec is long overdue

How can binance have binance Nigeria without being registered and taxed yet before any Nigerian could operate a binance account they need to get verification, this is one of the regulatory compliance we always talked about., binance have to go through the various process of registration and paying the necessary fees.
3844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who takes over Manchester United ? on: June 11, 2023, 05:08:24 PM
This is gambling and the wider with the bigger bag will take home Manchester Unite because at this point we can't really connect to dots that can link us to the right speculation and if the buyer has a lot of money to sign the best players in the next transfer windows that could lead to a facelift for Manchester United against the next season.
Manchester's city has really underperformed this season and if care is not taken the next season may be worst, because other clubs are ready to send money in getting their squad together by getting the best players on the board.
3845  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 11, 2023, 04:41:06 PM

I agree with you. If it's a security issue, I think enabling 2FA is safe enough
Yes available and ready to be used without any risk, and this security feature can protect your account up to 80%+ and it doesn't require users much info to set it up.

Unlike KYC where the player gives the documents and other personal details that are verified and kept in the casino database or other third-party data hosting sites which is prone to the risk of a hack or government access to those documents.
3846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: June 11, 2023, 03:49:45 PM
Volcano Energy's mission is to make 🇸🇻 El Salvador the richest nation on earth. #Bitcoin is the new oil and El Salvador will be the Saudi Arabia of bitcoin.

I think the over reliance on the produce from the volcano volt energy and Bitcoin hubs for offseting the debt of El Salvador may make it hard for the project to produce to its maximum capacity since the space between 2023 and 2030= 7 years, this is something that we analysts need to make emphasis on in our discussion because with our experience with bitcoin we know that we can't predict the future of bitcoin or where it price will be, things change and actions can be modify to fit in current realities at that time and bitcoin mining from the volcano may not be able to make the profits that will pay off El Salvador debt by 2030.

Yes, I am a strong advocate for the volcano development, but fixing a time frame for when Bitcoin mining profits in El Salvador will be able to meet up with paying that debt.
3847  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading not a get rich quick on: June 11, 2023, 03:34:24 PM
I think that those who come into trading with the idea that trading will easily make them rich in a few days, trading is not really for them. Effort, time, and patience are essential to be successful in every where, and it is also in trading. But if we look in reality then most of people are come to trading with the intention to get some quick money.  And those who can move away from this idea and actually gave there effort those can be successful at the end
How can such a risky venture which requires a lot of calculation and position studying will be seen as a get-rich scheme, no wonder many of them have a bad experience with gambling since they already build the mindset of hitting the jackpot thereby forgetting all the fundamental steps that are involved in trading for a successful venture.

Trading is like every other business there for it requires time and knowledge in the area to make a good profit and minimise losses
3848  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 11, 2023, 03:24:45 PM
I think the KYC introduced into gambling sites is a good idea, for security reason but many people are scared of losing their informations to hackers which is very understandable whereas some sites like 1xbet have improved their securities by including options like 2fac authentication for login and withdrawal of profit just incase an account was hacked. The hacker can't have access to the account holders funds if they don't have access to their Google authenticator app which  is a very nice idea, making it very safe and secured for users.
I don't think the KYC mechanisms is most aimed at securing players' funds but to fulfil regulatory compliance and that is what makes it hard to Know whether or not the data supplied as KYC will be secured and safe but if not then we can rest assured that we have hard our data exposed either to governments or hackers taking them. Off from the casino database.

2fa security authentication is almost available in all of the reputable casinos and not only 1xbet that have such even in stake.com,  there is an option to activate second FA security but subject to the player's desire.
3849  Economy / Gambling / Re: How does AI gambling sound? on: June 11, 2023, 03:13:46 PM

I also don't want to use AI in gambling because I haven't found out how or seen anyone who has won bets using AI. But if someday there are people who manage to win that bet using AI, perhaps I'll try it and see the results. The use of AI will depend on us. If we can use it well, we can benefit from AI. But if not, AI will not give any results and might have an effect that is not good for us. But this can make us lazy to look for more information because AI has provided everything, so we only need to decide.
It is absolutely difficult to win a bet with the use of Artificial Intelligence bot to gamble because there can't give an accurate analysis of current events unless those that are encoded into them, there have not been a recordinging of AI usage in gambling since AI is A new development that is just making waves and this thread was created just to discuss the possibility AI usage in gaming.

I also think that the casino will not be ok with that idea since it will look as if the gambler wants to cheat the casino by the use of a bot since some casino disallow the use of bot.
3850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you use a VPN on a casino, even if it is not allowed in their ToS? on: June 11, 2023, 03:04:49 PM
Bad is to use VPN but the worst is to use VPN and at the same time trying to cheat the casino one way or the other it will lead to an immediate ban since you are already committing double offences, there is no doubt that some casinos may look away from the use of VPN even though is mentioned in their TOS that VPN usage is not allowed but then casino are looking for money after all because VPN usage has nothing to affect the casino unless for regulators who restrict the casino access in their jurisdiction.
3851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Casinos Include The Sport Spogomi In Their Platform on: June 11, 2023, 12:37:50 PM
The sex as sport in Sweden was actually fake as said by the users in that thread. They do have a link about it being just a fake news.
Spogomi is quite unique but this sport is just too new and people have no idea yet about them. I doubt it will be added on betting sites. I think the sport will need to have a big community and fans first.

But I did saw this one on youtube. It seem like these are the guys who invented this sport the first. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eseowyjZ8Gw
I know from the very start that the sex sport was just a frivolous idea that was just.
Playing out of the head of people and will not go anywhere since it is unrealistic to have such activity as a sport and this has a lot of things to battle against since not everyone will want to play or watch such games.
Spogomi sounds old fashion to me to be included in casino games since the process of playing the game may be difficult to be encrypted into online casinos, since this game is about the cleaning of trash and collecting unwanted material I am kind of surprised how that will work, but I am sure that if casino fine the game lucrative and being able to generate passive returns there will find their way to develop it.
3852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 10, 2023, 11:59:25 PM

Well, actually, Messi's father is also his agent at the same time, so who better than to ask him to consider the issue. Another question is that everything seems to have already been decided in favor of Inter Miami and there should be no changes here, at least in the next six months. But in the middle of the season, when Barcelona will sort out its financial problems, then you can already try to negotiate a player's lease with Barcelona, but it is unlikely right now.
Oh that is great to know, I have not actually being following up with details as regards to players transfers but since Lionel messy was mentioned so it trigger my ambition to know more about messy managements and so good to know that his father is his agent, that place the father in a decision-making position a d for Bercelona to have contacted the man is ok even though the may not get the player this time.
3853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can They Find A Way to Do It To Bitcoin? on: June 10, 2023, 11:54:27 PM
Bitcoin is decentralized and cannot be controlled by a person or entity and as Satoshi Nakamoto remains anonymous there is nothing the government can do to destroy Bitcoin directly. They can only resort to using the media to paint Bitcoin in a bad image as a currency used by criminals, more recently we have seen the government attack Bitcoin indirectly by sanctioning various exchanges. Since they can’t touch bitcoin directly, I believe “ the powers that be” are trying to make it difficult for people to buy Bitcoins.
At the moment, the government have lost its legitimacy in the eyes of the people so at that, no matter what their campaign of columns is it can not distract us from investing our time and resource into Bitcoin, since Bitcoin offers us the best form of. Alternative to the fiat traditional financial system which is highly controlled by the government and the central bank there agents.

But with Bitcoin, one becomes a del custodian of your finances, which is out of all control In the hands of the holder.
3854  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: June 10, 2023, 11:44:23 PM
at the end, people stop gambling no matter what! because it ruins the financial health of a person
Not everyone have a bad ending with gambling so we may not need to generalise the effects of gambling on individual and as a matter to take note is the place of discipline and luck, these two things contribute a lot to the future reality of the gamblers, but once a gambler has luck and combined with discipline it will become easy to withdraw from gambling or only do it for fun and being able to walk away when the stride is no longer in your favour.
3855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 10, 2023, 11:37:13 PM

Barcelona are trying hard to sign Lionel Messi. Meanwhile, the Barcelona authorities have had great discussions with Lionel Messi's father. Let's see what kind of hope we get in the next news.
Wait a minute I want to get something straight here, is Lionel messy father his manager because I don't see any reason why Barcelona should beg the Father of their star potential signee for him to consider the offers, there is no doubt that the father may influence the messy decision but then if Barcelona as a club make Lionel messy a good offer I don't see any reason why their need to beg the father to intervein in the matter.
3856  Other / Off-topic / Re: YOUTUBE VS TIKTOK on: June 10, 2023, 11:32:22 PM
Preferably for me Youtube this is because YouTube have been here long enough and have provides a lot of information on several topic in a virtual manner that are shared by different YouTubers, even though tiktok is trending, it can't meet up with the standards youtube have set and how many databases both have.

So we can't compare the two of them as their are not in the same category and since YouTube has existed longer than Tiktok it is easier for them to gain the trust and admiration of many users.
3857  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 10, 2023, 11:27:11 PM
Firstly, KYC is only as safe as the user license agreement you signed in the beginning. It is an agency and can be required to present data concerning any of its customer.

Lastly, the gambling company security system can also decide this, as any breach in any of its security protocol either by bugs, or better put hackers , scammers, can make any one of its users/customers data compromised.

I don't trust myself, I saw a thread here in the forum that talks about casinos that change their Tos for convenience, and that there are some casinos that are constantly changing those rules, and that for me is cheating, apart from the fact that they have to comply with the KYC requirement, so it is not secure, when we give our data on a platform, those data are not secure, there is a risk that they will be leaked, so kyc will never be secure, I do not trust 100% in this either when they say that they leave the Data in a casino like this is very old, it is safe, because the risks of hacking will always be present.

It is not right to assume that the data is not secure.  The platform will try its best to secure the data but as we all know there is no 100% assurance that the security of the data cannot be breached, but it is wrong to 100% assume that the data are not being secured by the company responsible for keeping the data secured.

Stating that the data is not secured simply tells the readers that the company is not doing its job in securing the data.  We can assume that there are possibilities of leakage but it does not come easily especially when a company is dedicated in securing their users data.
Weather or not the data are secured I border less since I do everything possible within my powers to avoid any casino that are not reliable to hold my data and as a matter of fact I make sure that I keep my deposits and withdrawal amount within the stated limit amount and that is ok for me instead risk my data, most of the reputable casinos we have around mostly don't ask for KYC documents unless if the account is suspected.,  but if a player doesncommitsmit any offence and followed the rules of the casino it will become easy for him to play without having any problems.
3858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The role of Bitcoin in eliminating unemployment in our country on: June 10, 2023, 11:19:41 PM
Bitcoin as a technology have offered self sificiacncy to any one who adopts and uses it both as an asset e.g a store of value and also a currency, so if anyone embraces Bitcoin and takes the extra effort to build adequate knowledge on the subject matter, bitcoin can influence their financial decisions and management of the portfolio independently from the government thereby making the. Individuals are financially free.

So Bitcoin plays a great role in the economy and one needs to pay close attention to that so as not to make any mistake of the concept.
3859  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can anyone Predict What's going on crypto market? on: June 10, 2023, 11:14:53 PM
We all know that it is impossible to predict the future of the crypto market. However, according to the current world economy, the market is still in a good position. Still, who knows if there is even any news or when this market will turn around again. According to the economy going down a bit too slowly can new investments be made at the moment.
Yeah very impossible to predict, the future price of bitcoin, this is because of two things which are events and market volatility.

The events that can make prediction of the future market direction impossible is a market crisis, such as bad news on an exchange hack or bankruptcy of exchange or legal barrels, all this is what makes up for the large percentages of the incidence that can affect the price at an unexpected time.

The second thing is bitcoin market volatility, this is one of the primary key features of bitcoin where bitcoin is volatile in price there for making price predictions impossible.
3860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not a steady income haven on: June 10, 2023, 11:09:26 PM
Usually an unemployed person will prioritize the results of gambling as a steady income and sometimes they also expect the winnings to be able to eat tomorrow or use the winnings to have fun gambling again
This is really bad, those unemployed people are struggling with their life, but they choose to add more struggle by use their money to gamble and looking to make a steady income through gambling. Sooner or later they will suffer huge losses and they will start to sell their property for gambling. After they lose everything, they will regret what have they done.
Gambling winning can never substitute for steady income this is because there is no consistency in gambling earning and at that, one can not rely on it to make a living, worst case is when the individual is unemployed because that will truly hurt his finances and upkeep allowance where it is available.

Gambling should be waken for fun and wakened mormoreout it because if you rely so much on gambling, it may lead to some other severe problems that you may not be able to control as an unemployed person.

just remind yourself when you are in gambling, how many times have you won vs losing it all? i bet, we are more on the losing side. so yeah, you can never count on your gambling winnings to be your source of income. unless, you want yourself to be in worst trouble with your finances.
i don't know how many times have we encountered such piece of advice not to take gambling as a means of your passive income. but unfortunately, some are still relying on this game as their last hope to get good money. sadly.
Yes how much have been your winning vs loses, this is one key thing that we use to evaluate our gambling activities and how much it has taken from us and how much we have earned so far, this is called personal financial evaluation, it is easier to do since you as a gamblers know what direction you are trending in be it winning or losing.

So if you win more than you lose then automatically you are gaining but if it is the opposite that means you are going the negative way and need to be checked.
