3841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shall we still keep optimism for Bitcoin? on: January 21, 2018, 06:43:21 PM
I have strong optimism for bitcoin hit unprecedented value before ending of 2018

It's quite obvious that you are new here and don't have much experience.
Bitcoin can't just rise and you can't get millionare the very moment you have started investing. Do.some research in the past you will get what I'm talking about.
And to my opinion we still haven't seen the max Bitcoin price yet, it's plenty of room to grow.
3842  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2017 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews on: January 21, 2018, 01:41:52 PM
You have to know that anonimous use of any service, including Bitcoin debit cards, bring certain limitations and much smaller benefits than with ID verified.
Anonimous user is always a certain risk to provider when it comes to regulation and it will be harder and harder to get some product on anonimous basis. Provider needs some insurance and something to start with in case of their business or regulation terms violation.

There is this Singapore-based project with links to Estonia’s e-Residency system. They have ambitious goals and aim to be the most exciting banking application in the world which would be really nice if they could truly pull it off. Achieving that milestone would mean ending our dependence on traditional banks and ending too the uncertainties they create for the crypto community.

https://getchange.com/

I’m already an Estonian e-Resident so this would be a nice addition to my portfolio of accounts.

I’m posting this here because I believe they will introduce a card soon. I’m not sure if they are still negotiating with a card issuer but they seem to be making progress. Singapore’s progressive environment is a good place for these projects. The government is very pro-fintech and technology focused. Let’s hope lasting solutions will come out of this super exciting project.

This would be good, if they introduce a card soon.
After Visa and Wave Crest broken partnership issue there is a pretty big open space on a bitcoin debit card market and lack of such services. Ideal for new providers to find their niche and good opportunity to make the profit and benefit for the users too.
3844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin/alts in your will (?) on: January 20, 2018, 08:11:30 PM
Many people involved in cryptocurrencies are starting to think also what will happen with their coins in case of their death, is it good to put that in the last will or not, to reveal that fact to their relatives and friends or not. And those who get the coins will they know what to do with them.
Personaly I think this is something you should share with the closest people you trust, because it would be too bad to waste the coins in the case of death.
3845  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you start from zero cash and make a living with the opportunities in crypto? on: January 20, 2018, 07:50:19 PM
Although it looks easy not many are capable to make for living just with crypto. You are always in risk and you actualy can't know how much you will earn and if this will be enough for all expenses.
Maybe it's not so important with how much money you will start but are you capable enough to make decent amount out of it and obtain it for long term.
3846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Doctors and clinics accepting cryptocurrency on: January 19, 2018, 07:33:42 PM
This is a nice, progressive idea and probably will not be accepted in many countries. Healthcare is one of the areas where such "experiments" usualy are not very welcome.
I think that is especialy good for those who don't have health insurance and can't afford to pay in fiat money. Hope it will work.

Just got my advcash. Took 9 days, sent on the 10th of jan using their free shipping option. Is a mastercard, issued in gibraltar.

Will use in a couple of days, you're supposed to load it with bitcoin. Can't keep bitcoin on advcash wallet and load it at a later time, they don't have a btc wallet there, only usd, gbp, brl, eur.

Interesting. So Wave Crest is still operating as usual but now offering MasterCard instead? I remember Visa killed their partnership with Wave Crest earlier this month. If you got this MasterCard from Gibraltar and the issuer is Wave Crest, then it looks like there is still hope out there.

What I liked about Wave Crest's cards was the tri-currency feature and the high spend limits. Their fees were very reasonable, especially if you compare it to other cards (WageCan, to name one).

Yes, this is interesting information but if Visa broke the partnership with Wave Crest because of the policy violation then similar could happen with Master Card too on a long term.
I'm not sure what to think about that but  I can't believe there isn't some other reliable partner who could offer such services.

Thank you for the info.
Seems that your card has arrived rather fast. Hope my will too.
Xapo had the best option to my opinion. You could keep your coins in their wallet that was directly connected with the card so you didn't have to upload the card, pay the fee and the funds were always available. It was very convenient to use, hope they will find the new provider soon and keep that concept.

I do have to say I m quite unhappy with Mistertango support, have sent them an email 3 days ago, they reply with completely useless info, I asked again and nothing since then.

Thanks for this update. Not sure what's happening behind the scenes. Probably flooded with registration requests now that Wave Crest died.

I better load my Mistertango account with small BTC amounts only. I would hate to be stuck with unresolved issues for days or weeks without help from their support.

Still no reply from Mistertango and I think I ll be definitely not ordering a card from them. I can understand they re swamped with users but 4 days no reply is big NO.

On the other hand, Advcash support s been lighting fast, I m talking responding in just hours after I d ask a question.

You already have Advcash card or just planing to order it? I would like to know the experiences.
Also, is card directly connected to wallet ther  (like Xapo) or you have to fund it extra? I have already ordered Mistertango but I don't like those comments about poor support and maybe it wouldn't be bad to have multiple cards to use them depending on occasion.
3850  Economy / Exchanges / Re: A working cryto debit card? on: January 18, 2018, 07:12:28 PM
Wirecard is one of the most respected European card companies. If it s them, then it is definitely worth of checking it out.

If anyone uses Mistertango, I would be interested on how the funding of the card goes, since I've read that funding Bitcoin has huge fee.
Or maybe there's another solution (funding from 3rd party exchange?) I don't know of.

I do have to say I m quite unhappy with Mistertango support, have sent them an email 3 days ago, they reply with completely useless info, I asked again and nothing since then.

This is not nice to hear and it could be a significant problem.
But the truth is that many services have poor customer support, either they are very slow or they don't even answer and when they do you see that people who run the support don't have the clue about the topic.
I hoped that it's different with Mistertango.
3851  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Mistertango - Bitcoin friendly European Bank Account + free MasterCard on: January 18, 2018, 06:32:42 PM
I am a resident of another EU country and I would like to spend my bitcoins without interference of my not so Bitcoin friendly Government  Smiley Since Mistertango requires verification, Will Mistertango notify my local bank and/or tax authorities about my activities? Will my holdings be reported back?

Thanks

They will not. They don't have any authority to notify your bank about using their services. They require verification because of EU regulation regarding anti money laundering and terrorism financing. But if you use Mistertango or any other similar Bitcoin debit card provider in accordance to their terms of service you have nothing to worry about.
3852  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Mistertango - Bitcoin friendly European Bank Account + free MasterCard on: January 18, 2018, 09:38:08 AM
"If you want to buy or sell Bitcoin, you have to proceed person identification." but when I follow the provided link this is what I see https://mistertango.com/en/page/identification  404 PAGE IS NOT AVAILABLE

And of course I already verified my id when I opened the account.

I also got this message before I identified using the mobile app to scan the drivers license and a selfie while following a moving dot with the eyes. After that I could make a successful SEPA payment.
Did you identify using the mobile app?

To verify identity via mobile app is a must. Without that you will not be able to fully use your account.
It's because of regulation, they can't do business with anonimous clients. Today you can't use and legitimate service without ID verification, that is the reality.
3853  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bitcoin price recover? on: January 17, 2018, 08:18:14 PM
For some of you that are new here and never have experienced situations like this, yes, the price will recover, don't get desperate and don't panic. But don't expect that someone will tell you exact date and time when the price will be up again.
And for those who think they are very smart and people who use Bitcoins are retarted I have a message too. No one didn't ever force you to participate in this and not everyone is capable to survive in crypto world.
3854  Economy / Economics / Re: Bankers are killing the cryptocurrency market on: January 17, 2018, 05:57:40 PM
Another conspiracy theory.
Bankers would probably be proud that you are giving to them such super powers to manuipulate the Bitcoi market but they have anything to do with Bitcoin price.
I suggest that you learn something more about cryptocurrencies.
3855  Economy / Economics / Re: War on cryptocurrency! on: January 17, 2018, 01:42:06 PM
I would say this is exaggerated, no one didn't declare the war to cryptocurrency.
It's kind of natural thing that governments and central banks want for cryptocurrencies to be regulated and by that I don't mean banned but regulated by law in positive sense.
There are some governments, usualy in undeveloped countries with some drastic ideas of ban and similar but generaly speaking no one is making war with cryptocurrencies.
3856  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Trading When Red? on: January 17, 2018, 10:22:03 AM
I think now it's great time to buy so there is no reason to stop.
Situations like this have happened before and will happen again, I wouldn't worry too much. It's temporay situation and the market will recover so you have to be ready for that.
3857  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchangers on a list of shame? on: January 16, 2018, 08:38:07 PM
My honest opinion is that most of the well known Exchanges such as Coinbase, Kraken, Cex.io, Bittrex ete etc are not scams. They are legitimate businesses but have lost their way with greed and poor management. I have posted many comments on this forum relating to the frustration I have felt with these exchanges but in the long term I have always got my money or my crypto. The problem is that if they continue to operate as they are doing now by not providing customers with answers to lost funds and withheld or delayed funds they will lose all credibility. I have had situations where I have had what I consider to be large sums of money held up by and Exchange either through it being stuck in their process system or supposedly on the way to a bank for weeks on end. This has been accompanied by a complete lack of communication. Can you imagine if you went into your bank and they had misplaced $5000 for example and they said they could not talk to you about it for a few weeks as they are busy recruiting new customer? You just cannot put people through that kind of stress and yet all these exchanges are doing it on a regular basis.

What would be better is to have a list of Exchanges that have actually improved and started to provide customer service. That would be a lot shorter. It would be a good start however

This sounds reasonable. I could agree that poor management and insuficient or bad quality customer support could be a part of the problem. And of course many users that doesn't even read the terms of service.
So it would be better to try to fix the problems through available chanels before they are accused of scam, unless users have really strong proofs for that.
3858  Economy / Exchanges / Exchangers on a list of shame? on: January 16, 2018, 05:35:28 PM
I'm watching this thread and I can't to notice that there is almost no exchanges at all that hasn't been accused for scam or some serious missuse. Poloniex, Kraken, Bitstamp, Coinbase, Bittrex and many others.
It's hard to beleive that this is happening for many of them after many years of legit business.
Are they all really so corrupt or is it maybe something in regulation of these exchangers that allow them to freeze or close the accounts and funds when they have suspicious users' activities connected to money laundering, terrorism financing or other criminal activities? Does so many exchangers deserve to end up on a list of shame?
3859  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm officially sick of the bitcoin price right now... on: January 16, 2018, 11:27:35 AM
And I'm officially sick of newcomers who have been using Bitcoin for couple of months and got very angry and disappointed when they didn't make thousands of dollars and became rich over night.
Get a life somwhere else, this is not for you.
3860  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Mistertango - Bitcoin friendly European Bank Account + free MasterCard on: January 15, 2018, 07:06:03 PM
I would like an explanation, if possible.
When I registered to Mistertango couple of days ago I also received the offer to order the card immediately so I did.
At the mobile app the card details were available this very day as well as the field to control the card and activate it when arrives. Today I checked the app and all card details are gone, like I have never ordered it. What happened in the meanwhile?
