I voted yes, and I'm glad that most people on this forum got vaccinated already. To me it's a question of trusting modern science(btw, it was the Moderna vaccine, what a funny coincidence! ). But all jokes aside, even if it was called Olderna, I would take it still. The main reason is that from all the people I know personally only poorly educated ones (more than half in my circle, unfortunately) are opposed to COVID-19 vaccinations. The higher the level of education of somebody, the more he/she supports vaccination.

From 0 to 0.001 BTC I have achieved my goal on freebitco.in. I started with the free WoF spins and collected 0.0003 BTC Then I played betting and placed the whole amount on ETH price September betting and won the bet to get the total reward of 0.00072 BTC Now I went all in and played the multiply BTC and won the bet to a total of 0.001078 BTC. I know I have risked it all and I could have lost at any given time to go back to zero. I have achieved my target of 0.001 BTC and I have bought the FUN tokens now with this amount and locked it up for 360 days. ~
Wow, that's an amazing progress, congrats, mate! Collecting 0.0003 BTC with the WoF spins isn't that hard, but for turning it to 0.001 BTC with betting you definitely need a lot of luck, and you have succeeded with that. I hope with the additional WoF spins you'll win something good like Rolex, iPhone or $500 Amazon Gift Card. OR you can win 5k sats 20 times, and you'll get your 0.001 back, while the number of your free WoF spins will continue increasing. It's a right decision to buy FUN at low these days. Good job!

this is not surprising anymore because China does feel threatened by bitcoin...
China has been a crypto 'unfriendly' country for the past few years and the most shocking thing was when they forced all bitcoin mining there to be shut down. China is not a country that has a strong influence on bitcoin, so this problem does not need to be magnified.
Just one small correction: not China, but the Communist government of China. Communist governments are afraid of everything decentralized because they want to keep everything under control. I don't know how many people in China really support that outdated regime today, but I hope in the near future they will be in the minority, and this nightmare will be over.

Taking advantage of the OP space, I do not know if you remember the platform that had to be downloaded to play Poker, called BetcoinPóker, which every day had free tournaments and paid tournaments, I remember very well that free tournaments could be won up to 0.050mBTC, just by playing, does anyone know if they will return? or if there is a similar platform? The platform worked 24 hours a day, and all tournaments could be entered simultaneously, I miss this type of opportunity with poker, of course everything was PVP.
I remember this platform very well. Several years ago it was one great site called Betcoin.ag, and there was poker room there with at least 12 freerolls per day, but probably more. Lots of GTD tournaments with good money added to the prize pool. I remember times when from 1 to 2 thousand people were playing online simultaneously, and I myself used to play there a lot. Then one day, about 4 years ago, the site split in two: Betcoin.ag with casino and sportsbook, which is a great and trusted gambling site to this day, and another one - Betcoinpoker.ag, with different owners. They changed the software to an inferior one, reduced the number of free rolls, and started losing players so quickly, I couldn't believe my eyes. I was still playing there from time to time, but at one point I withdrew the rest of my money and left the site for good. I checked it today: the site is still there, but only 3 players registered for tournaments and no one is playing cash games. It used to be a great site, but now it looks abandoned.

Ooh, rdbase picks same as me, I must be doing something right But nah, I don't think when I make my predictions. I do choose a fair amount of upsets in every selection, and on all the highlight bouts, I am playing a martingale system now of betting on every underdog, every time (and when the odds are too tight to have a favourite, then I go for the one with the worse record). If I lose, I go next round and double down (not the stake, but the amount needed to cover my loss and win a wee bit more than stake, so it's actually not so bad since I bet on underdog). Betting on the underdog is my favorite thing to do: on the one hand, I'm ready to lose because I know my chances are slim, on the other hand, if I win it's a good win. Only rarely I bet on everyone's favorite for a change. ~ @betwrong: In regards to picking Shevchenko. Yeah, I usually do pick her. She travels with her sister so just having that inspiration is motivation enough for her to battle it through a fight. During her last fight I watched she was in good form even if facing a younger opponent.. experience does matter as well. I was right with my betting on Casey O'Neill, but I wasn't so good in my other predictions: 13) Thiago Santos V 12) Kevin Holland - no contest 11) Alex Oliveira X 10) Krzysztof Jotko V 9) Aspen Ladd - cancelled 8 ) Alexander Hernandez V 7) Joe Solecki X 6) Casey O'Neill V 5) Bethe Correia X 4) Devonte Smith X 3) Douglas Silva de Andrade V 2) Shanna Young X 1) Alejandro Perez V Got only 6 of them right.

As for me, these are two fundamentally different options for investing, even in their essence. Because gold is more stable, you already know what to expect. Bitcoin, on the other hand, is a more complicated option.
I think no none would argue that gold is more stable in the short-to-medium term, but we don't know what to expect from gold in 20 years. Yes, it will never be of zero value, that's for sure, but it can lose 80% of its today's price for the reasons I was talking about earlier in this thread. As for Bitcoin, I'm not saying we can know what to expect in 20 years. We can't. I just want to emphasize that it's similar to gold in this regard.

Last day to make Majestic7 predictions and some matches are very tricky for prediction goal scorers, and I was thinking of choosing no goals for Burnley match and I don't do that to often. I am ready to finally get $10,000 reward, but don't forget to make your predictions https://fortunejack.com/majestic7Thanks for reminding! I just made my predictions. I wish you to win the $10,000 reward, but I'm myself hoping for the 5 out of 7 to get a $25 free bet. I would be happy to be wrong in this regard, of course. ~ You guys are very generous with your percentages. I would take a bet immediately that less then 20% of posters in gambling section actually gamble on regular basis. I am actually thinking that number is closer to 5 percent. Majority of bitcoin paying signature campaigns promote gambling sites and have mandatory 5-10 posts in gambling which forces people with no interest in gambling to post here. ~
In my opinion, the quality of posts in gambling/gambling discussion sections has been risen significantly during the past 2 years. I think it means that posters do actually gamble, at least from time to time. I do see some bad posts, but it 's not that often, so I'm personally satisfied with the majority of posts in those sections.

I definitely prefer skill based.
It takes a while to master but once you do you can maximise the odds of winning or at least not losing.
For example, BJ has a house edge of 0.5% if you play perfect basic strategy or even a positive EV if you know how to count cards. Compare this to American roulette which has a house edge of 5+%.
I'd say Poker is best if you're into Skill based gambling. Also, there are this hand sign game where u go player vs player and select a hand from Rock, Paper, or Scissor and the best one wins, I could be totally random but if you can read the opponent correctly after a few games then it's quite skilled to win They say poker is 100% game of skill in the long run, but since "in the long" is not defined, it could mean hundreds of years and a bankroll of billions USD. So, in reality, I wouldn't call poker a game of pure skill, but I wouldn't go so far to say that luck has 80% and skill has 20%, like some poker players are saying. Imo, the truth is somewhere in the middle: 60% skill, and 40% luck.

In countries where there is a shortage of fuel oil and a shortage of electricity, bitcoin mining is considered a waste of energy. However, our country has a large supply of mineral oil and electricity, In our country, bitcoin mining will not be considered as a waste of energy
In every country there are different areas in respect to the amount of electricity produced. In one part can be not enough of it, while in other part can be more than needed. And miners normally tend to build their mining farms in places like the latter. They use the electricity which would be wasted otherwise. Although electric energy can be stored, it's often not cost-effective, and it's much better for the power plants owners, and for the environment, if this excessive energy is used one way or another.

As far as I understand, the graph might look a bit different if another than CPI measure was used. But it wouldn't change the whole picture, right? Or did you mean, it would? What I don't understand in that article, is what is "Manic Gold Price", and how an article dated Apr. 25, 2011 could contain a chart with figures up to 2020? Maybe it's Sunday and my head isn't working properly, I'm sorry, but I can't understand where are these figures coming from? ~ If having 1 bitcoin was actually a requirement for having high status, that might give it intrinsic value. But that's not the case and I don't see a reason it would ever be the case. The actual measurement of high status is wealth, no matter the form.
I disagree. But let's suppose it's true. Wouldn't having 1 Bitcoin be an indication of belonging to high status group then?

Or you can hold all the spades and hope to win a regular Flush Or you can hold 4,5,7,8 and hope to get a 6 See, at least there are four scenarios: straight flush, flush, straight, and two pairs. You can win or lose depend on your decision, it means you can make poor decisions -> guilt, as if you lose because of you, not the system/luck. Not on your decision, but on luck only. In pvp poker you can study a particular player's way of playing, and then scare them with a large bet, and win the pot, while having nothing good, or you can apply other tactics to affect the outcome. In video poker you can't do that. The house you are playing against, isn't analyzing the way you play. It's not like you are playing against an AI, rather it's like with slots where, contrary to the beliefs of some gamblers, your game isn't analyzed either. Ordinary slots don't have this expand payline, gamble feature, lock reels, etc. The only guilt was why didn't I increase/decrease the bet. Exactly. But it's like after seeing the winning numbers in lottery to regret about not picking them.

Do you think that all doctors around the world saying that the vast majority of people in hospitals these days because of COVID-19 are those that are not vaccinated? Do you think all those doctors are lying? And why would they do that in your opinion? Do you think that most people are evil and only you, anti-vaxxers, are on the good side? If you do, it's a very dangerous way of thinking, I have to tell you. Educate yourself, and change your mind for your own good.

So, has anyone got any luck with BITCOIN PRICE - SEPTEMBER? I was super close this time with my bet on the "$40,001 - $42,500" range: Considering the Time Weight Multiplier I'd win 8x of my bet, but, well, the most betted on range won this time: And don't say "Bitcoin price is unpredictable". It turns out that freebitco.in users can do it collectively.

It is illegal in China to mention cryptocurrency at all. I've learnt China has a power shortage. By banning crypto they will be able to use that power for other things. According to their claims, crypto is actually banned due to mining, which consumes a lot of electricity. I know what I'm saying may not sound good, or could be rumor but there's a point to it. The use of cryptocurrency is banned in China, but it does not affect purchases.
If they were concerned only about electric power they would ban crypto mining alone, but they clearly declared all cryptocurrency transactions illegal, and identified all firms providing crypto trading services to Chinese citizens as involved in unlawful financial activity. Huobi and Binance have already stopped new registrations of Chinese customers. Whatever the reason for this ban, it's surely not electricity shortage.

sportsbet.io is a great site, but there's no poker room there. It used to be there until the end of 2020, if I remember correctly, but then they decided to get a better poker software(which was a good decision), and they haven't reopened poker since then yet. I'm waiting for the reopening because it's one of my favorite sites, and I love poker.
Yes, I remember that when Steve is offering free table and free prizes as well. Not been there for some time and yeah I quite missed a lot of updates from the site and playing with forum members way back then. Seems the reopening part was the best part IMO and with much better software it will be like wild again there with good promotions. ~ Yep. There's not much of good poker rooms in the crypto gambling. Around half of those I've encountered were not worth playing on. They were either full of bots(which actually not that hard to beat, but it's boring as hell to play with them), or there were outright cheaters with several players(most likely form the site) colluding, or they were using awful software, constantly lagging, throwing you out in the middle of a tournament etc. I'm pretty sure when sportsbet.io reopens poker, it will be one of the best places around to play poker on.

I see both of you, guys, @buwaytress and @rdbase, are betting on Antonina Shevchenko, and I'm wondering why do think she's going to win? I mean, she uswed to be a great fighter in the past, but I think beginning this year she has started losing her strength. She's 36 after all. I know they say even 40 is not too old for MMA, but c'mon, being 36 you have slim chances of beating a 23 y.o. I'm so sure Casey will win, I even placed a bet on her on sportsbet.io, and then placed another one.
