3841  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to control your emotions while trading?👨🏼‍💻 on: November 13, 2019, 05:18:52 PM
Emotion is something natural. Trying to suppress/control your emotion is trying to do something "unnatural". Instead of doing that, the better thing to do is to learn to reach in a proper way when trading instead of letting emotions take your decision.
The best way to react naturally is to "look ahead" for all possible outcomes when trading. This way you will always be prepared when anything happens even if it is something that is really bad.

Supply of goods( Aggregate Supply) and supply of money are separate things
Demand of money and demand of goods( Aggregate Demand) are two separate things
Yeah, it is true that supply of goods and supply of money are two separate things, but they are closely related, specially aggregate supply and supply of money along with aggregate demand. You see, as the aggregate demands starts to rise, the price of the goods also starts to rise at the same time (talking about short run before reaching an equilibrium). Thus with the increase of the price of the goods, the amount of "money" needed to buy those goods will also increase. Thus the government follows the monetary policy. The fed buys and sells those government securities to control the supply of the market until a proper equilibrium has been reached.
3843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best ways of bringing Bitcoin to non-crypto users on: November 12, 2019, 09:19:54 PM
What other ways do you know to receive / earn Bitcoin for everyday stuff outside of the crypto world that could bring Bitcoin and other crypto directly to users for them to spend?
I all can think of right now is those reward programs that give you points or cash backs for using certain bitcoin based debit cards. Other than that, I don't think there are any ways to earn/receive bitcoin by doing regular stuffs outside the crypto world.
I wouldn't recommend getting those "free" bitcoins. First of all, those are not free. You have to perform some certain task to earn them. Secondly, you just get dust amount of coins that can barely cover your transaction fee.
The best way to bring non-crypto users is to make them understand the basic and the advantages of using crypto currencies.
3844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have anyone tried to stop gamblers from losing while they keep on wagering. on: November 09, 2019, 01:45:47 PM
I've been into gambling for a long, my major focus was on sports betting. From sports betting earned good, but I wasn't able to make the success continue. I lost out of greed, further my focus turned towards casinos where we get the instant results and doesn't want to wait as we wait on sports betting till a match gets over. By this time I was entirely new to it, and lost big. If someone have contacted me I could've stopped it for a while and lowered my loses.

Recently while playing dice, I saw a person who was wagering with large funds to recover the loss. By the time he has lost part of what I have lost. I texted him my experience, and suggested to stop it before things go out of his hands. He didn't responded, finally he lost everything. Have any of you got such experience.
We at crypto-games.net sometimes give users a friendly warning when they gamble a lot and keep losing or has made significant amount of profit. Just a gentle reminder that they might want to stop gambling or they might lose all their profit or make more losses. It is only when we see them on the chat box. We also allow users to disable their account temporarily or permanently if they feel like they are really addicted to gambling and wants to stop.
Though all these decisions are totally up to the users.
3845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Counted Or Estimate All Your Losses And.... on: November 09, 2019, 01:42:41 PM
Some people are losing $100 daily or $200 a week or $500 a week how about you
Have you counted or estimate all your losses and thought what all your losses could you buy, do you sometimes stop and think on all of this.
I'm not a big gambler but I estimate I could already buy a good class mountain bike with all my losses, how about you?
I used to gamble a lot before, but I don't gamble much anymore. I don't have to keep track on my losses. The casino I gamble on (crypto-games.net) does that for you. You can easily check your stats over there and see how much loss or profit you have made throughout your lifetime. Good thing for me, I am actually on the profit zone.
Don't sweat it. Losses are loss. There is nothing to regret about not being able to buy a "class mountain bike" with your losses. At least you enjoyed when gambling.

Gold is not safe haven even bitcoin is not safe haven!!
There is no holy grail when it comes to investments, most of our investments analysis are based on speculations and untrustworthy technical analysis.

Bitcoin is a digital gold, the situation driving its price is different from that of natural gold. Remember that gold is wanted by all nations while most nations ban bitcoin.

Investment assets is not a respecter of anybody, we should boast less when our predictions happened since we did not have much contributions towards it besides mere words.
Stop comparing bitcoin with digital gold. Honestly, there is not much difference in the price being set for either gold or bitcoin. Both of the prices are derived based on the availability. Both of the prices depends completely on demand and supply. Where did you come with the information about bitcoin being banned in "most" of the nation.
As far as I know, only few government around the world banned the use of bitcoin.

This option is advantageous as it has the following;

- no bet maximum

-snip-
So you are saying that there are no bet win amount cap? I mean you can bet any amount? You know, its not safe for the house right? One user can come in the casino, place a very very very large bets with a high win chance. The user can eventually clean out the bankroll. Without any max bet limit, a lucky user for real can wipe out the whole casino by placing just one single bet!
3848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Withdraw your funds from the top 10 Exchange now !!! on: November 08, 2019, 09:13:42 PM
this is a warning !!!
Top 10 big exchanges is the next target hackers !!!
good luck, and be careful Smiley

So you are here just trying to spread FUDs? Lol, exchanges are always a target of the hackers. Trust me, every now and then hackers are trying to break into exchanges to steal all the coins. They have been successful before, but the security of the exchanges are improving daily. But, yeah, this doesn't mean that the exchanges are all safe forever. There are always a chance of the exchange to get hacked. So never store your coins in an exchange for a long term.
3849  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to learn bitcoin trading? on: November 08, 2019, 09:06:40 PM
You will finds lots of articles and videos on the internet where they will be teaching you how to trade efficiently. There is also a blog/channel where a user trades daily and gives weekly update about his trading and how he achieved this far. You can watch that and learn something from it. Remember, crypto trading is a very risky way of making money. Just watching and reading articles won't make you an expert. You will have to try it own your own. You will be making a lot of mistakes first but you will eventually learn from your mistakes and become a better trader.
3850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You don't want Bitcoin, You don't want Future :-\ on: November 08, 2019, 08:54:39 PM
To be truthful, I can not think a future without digital currencies. There will be an economic crisis eventually and fiat currencies will weaken by that. That will be a turning point for digital currencies.
Define economic crisis from your point of view? I don't get it. Why do people keep on saying that there will be an economic crisis eventually but bitcoin or other crypto currencies are going to be there to help. Like how? It makes no sense at all! During a economic crisis, removing a fiat currency and adding crypto currencies might end up making things more worse than before.
If you still believe how it is going to help in economic crisis, can you tell me how? I am really curious to know.
3851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the movement for alternative money a response to? on: November 08, 2019, 08:31:09 PM
I'm sure crypto will continue to grow rapidly until later. The world has begun to be literate about blockchain technology. Maybe this makes the top dog a little scared. Although China has started its own crypto which is certainly cetralized, but this will open the eyes of ordinary people as much as possible there in the world of crypto and blockchain. Which of course this is very good for future market development. Not to mention that Turkey will digitize their lira with blockchain. All eyes are now on the crypto world.
Those "top dogs" you are talking about are also really concerned about peoples security. Now, don't deny that there are right now lot of flaws when we will be trying to use it as a tradition crypto currency instead of fiat currency. More improvements are needed to bring a perfect crypto currency that is ready to be used as a legal tender. A currency that can be used by anyone without any problems and at ease.
3852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto-powered social network a trend? on: November 08, 2019, 05:32:32 PM
You should create this thread in the altcoin services section, I'm used to Facebook and don't think of switching to crypto-paid social networks, I have a Steemit account and several other crypto paid social networking accounts, but now I never use it again because I'm not very comfortable with paid social networking, anyway the pay is not much, because I will not sacrifice my pleasure just for a little money.
How is using a crypto based social network going to be a sacrifice of your pleasure? You can enjoy it as you usually do, but instead of getting nothing, you will at least be getting some coins. That is even more fun/pleasurable experience!
You waste your time in social media site, then why not just waste it in some other platform while you manage to earn something?
3853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: honest opinion on our future gaming platform project. on: November 08, 2019, 05:19:29 PM
I do agree.

Example in Poker, how we as a gambler, can verify if our opponent is a real human or not on the side of OP. Strategies are useless if we are playing against the bots or affiliated with OP itself. Maybe you can set up a real-time chat while on session although it's not an assurance that it's 100% fair.

Still, OP has several months to go before the actual launch so I think OP is aware of this now and working for a solution.
Honestly there is no way you can stop teaming in online poker. I have seen many online poker sites were such activities take place. They play as a team against one or two users. They increase bet if anyone of the player has some extremely good hands. They only get banned manually if they get caught. The only way this can be avoided is if they have a huge user base with lots of table and are assigned to true random tables.
3854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No Wonder Satoshi Disappeared... on: November 08, 2019, 04:57:28 PM
What does ripple have to do with Satoshis disappearance?
Anyways, Ripple is a company not a coin. They are the one that created XRP and is holding majority of the coins, thus many does not consider XRP as a decentralized currency. High chances the coin itself might become worthless as more people realizes this. Coins being created out of thin air and majority being held by a company does not sound like a decentralized crypto currency. Feels more like a currency that is controlled and can be easily manipulated.
Good thing Satoshi disappeared, or else people would worship him and any act or words said by him might cause some serious changes in the bitcoin market. Him being disappeared means his influence from the coin being gone thus making the coin truly decentralized.
3855  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do long term holding profitable in all cases? on: November 08, 2019, 04:39:32 PM
Should I continue holding my ethereum? Am a believer of long time holding but am currently beginning to lose faith due to fact that I have been experiencing constant decline in my major coins that I have been holding since late 2017. The coin in question is ethereum which I have been holding since when its value was around $1,300 and now its value is now less than $200 per one.
Should I continue holding my ethereum?
It is not profitable in all cases. If you hold some shit altcoin, then there is a very high chance you will be making some serious "loss" on the long run. Invest only on coins that are well known and has a very active community and support. Only those coins will very highly likely give you some good profit on the long run. Bitcoin is one such good example. Look at the charts. You will see that in the long run, everyone who has been holding has made some profit (skip 2017).
Keep holding your ETH. You haven't made any loss yet as long as you are holding it and not selling it.
3856  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do expert traders hide their loses? on: November 08, 2019, 12:09:27 PM
Do you really think an "expert" trader will want to show their losses? People won't consider them expert any more if they see that they make "significant" amount of losses. Then there is this "self importance" and "self respect" thing (aka ego) which they have it in them in abnormally high amount. After all what might their followers think if they see their losses? The so called "expert" traders will feel really ashamed if their followers know about their losses.
3857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose a good project to invest. on: November 07, 2019, 10:27:02 PM
All the points you have mentioned can be faked easily. We have seen projects that were public ending up scamming. We have seen projects that were showing "fake" progress. There were even projects out there that built users trust and end up scamming them. Just knowing the idea of the project won't help. People can come out with bullshit projects which are impossible to achieve, but then there are people who gets impressed listening to those ideas and invests on the project. But in the long run, it seems that they fail to deliver what they promised, thus investors losing money.
Even projects that are a year old can scam without any prior alert.
3858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: honest opinion on our future gaming platform project. on: November 07, 2019, 10:09:44 PM
I design and layout looks neat. Hope the user interface is also easy to use. By the way, is this a crypto gambling casino? Kinda confused since all the values in the screenshot are shown in fiat currency. And how is the casino going to profit from player vs player games? Is there any kind of fee involved? Like rakes in poker?
Can't give much feedback unless we can actually try it out. Good luck with your casino.
3859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More Debt, Buy Bitcoin on: November 07, 2019, 12:45:08 AM
The US government either can print more money to pay off their debt or default which in either case produce more problems in the long run.
Every country can print money like its a school project but every country is prohibited by doing it. The huge problem right away after the printing of money will come and will affect the country's economics in the long run. Printing money not equal to the amount of gold you have in a bank will result in inflation which will not be good for your home country currency.
You just can't go and start printing money. Well, you can, but you don't. You see, there will be an adverse affect if the government starts to print money randomly to pay off debt. The reason why it will affect the economy is not because it has anything to do with the "amount of gold you have in bank" like you mentioned, but the amount of circulation of paper notes and money inside the country. As the amount of money increases inside the country, the value of the currency starts to fall thus causing the prices of goods to increase aka inflation takes place. Look at countries like Zimbabwe and Venezuela.

It is always good news to hear that companies are exploring the possibilities that blockchain technology can bring. Even if they are not using Bitcoin, it is still helping the community. I think some people are oftentimes looking into their own self-interest and thinking about the "profits" which is why Bitcoin is always the front of the conversation. However, some other good things are happening in the cryptocurrency space that doesn't offer an immediate investment. Thoughts?
Yeah it is true. Some people when it comes to blockchain, all they think about is the "profit". They don't even know what blockchain is and how it is related to crypto currencies. There are even people out there that thinks blockchain and bitcoin are the same thing. Little do they know that bitcoin is a currency that uses the new blockchain technology.
What good thinks are you talking about? (can't access the link. Page won't load.)
