If this players have got good plan and self control surely they can make a good profit investing the wins on projects that grow good in the future.

These gamblers won't bet that high if they don't know what they're doing, at least by the majority of them.

And besides, that's their money so we should just mind our own business. Not because they will use it somewhere else, it doesn't mean they don't have a good plan nor self-control as you have mentioned.

They are truly lucky and that's it. We don't know though how much they lose already in the process.

@harizen, I'm just curious how they make money from live stream, or how much they will make since live stream is free and they are only using a facebook platform. Was the amount enough to cover the expenses? I know there are some advertisers too, but in total, can they sustain the operation?

Honestly, I don't have much of that info but in terms of sustaining the operation, yes they can because of their big revenue way back a few years. It's now being used to cover future operations but we don't know how long it will last.

Prior pandemic, the league revenue is seen increasing year by year. It's just 1 conference that they operate in the bubble so I think it didn't fully harm yet the money on their reserves. Php 65M expenses last year should be just a piece of candy to them.

It's unfortunate that they are expecting a target of Php 640M last year but a pandemic happened:

It's always fun to try different strategy in gambling, but honestly, martingale is the worst based on my experience, I'd rather choose the flat betting and just be strict in bankroll management, less riskier that way and I can enjoy longer than martingale where anytime your bankroll will be wipe out.

It's not a strategy at all for me but a form of betting.

But honestly, there are times I used that betting type in my sports betting experience.

- Bet should be playing at @1.6-@1.8.
- Patience as not all bets on that day within the line of that odds are worth to bet for me

In my sports betting experience, it's difficult to imagine that I will lose more than 5x in a row especially on my preferred sports that I lurking for over a decade.

If I'm right, why would I spend the money for a hardware wallet?

This thread might help you: (it will feed your mind)

Since you already decided that you might hold your coins for now, it's a must to gather knowledge about wallet security.
3845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 30, 2021, 10:22:31 PM

Since we talked about expenses, I searched a bit. Based on reports, the league spends Php 65 Million last year, 2020, to cover all the expenses of the bubble operation within 2 months.

Last 2019, P435 million was their income. I can't find a source on how much they profit last year, maybe we can just do some speculation that maybe around half?

And according to them, live streams prior to the pandemic becomes hype as they gather up to 3 Million viewers last 2019. It means, even without an audience, they can still get a good number of people watching right from their home. Still on profits if they will be bubble again this year but not on their usual. Better than 0 revenue at all and there's no money coming in.
3846  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: March 30, 2021, 10:10:14 PM

I understand your point but as a viewer, you should realize that it's a part of marketing.

It's become immoral to you because you don't like the idea but in the end, it's up to us if we will buy those that we watched or not.

Do you really think other people will just follow those streamers that easily?
3847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: March 30, 2021, 09:50:33 PM
I will still love to know if there could be a strategy in which we can use in helping the younger generations to avoid gambling until they are mature in all aspect so as to curb excessive mismanagement of funds appropriated for very important purpose

Minor's decision was based on how the environment around them is telling them. In some countries, gambling can be seen everywhere with some participation of minors.

If these minors were introduced to gambling at an early age and almost every day, gambling is just a normal routine operation in their life then just allow them to do it as stopping them might result in a much bigger problem. That's the common cases in those areas wherein gambling is part of their everyday life.

But for most of us here who are somehow in a region where gambling is regulated and minors are permitted from doing gambling, as these minors growing up, make sure to give them a personal talk about the risk of doing gambling and being responsible enough. Surely, they will understand it while they progress.
3848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who where how much withdrew from no deposit on: March 30, 2021, 09:31:04 PM
When making up a business then they should really be aware on what are the possible things that could be hit up, you wouldnt know on when those extreme luck would hit up on a particular player

And that's the main reason why we shouldn't see much of that promotions by now by a newly established site.

I also believe that's the main reason why my mentioned site few posts above shut down their operation.

That's why new gambling sites have to think outside the box on a unique feature that won't harm the overall bankroll during the first phase of their operation.
3849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: March 30, 2021, 09:15:35 PM
However I have this feeling in my gut telling me that there will be some injury, some mishap, something and these teams will not meet in the finals. That's just something I feel, obviously if we have 100% healthy all players these two teams would be near impossible to beat, so there is a big chance they will make it to finals but who can guarantee that an injury will not happen? I do not think that is possible, which is why I think it's quite possible that we could end up seeing some other team there.

No one knows obviously.

But regardless of what team will meet on the Finals, just hope that every team is in their healthy state once playoffs began.

No need to overthink too much or think about a situation like that lol. We all want to see teams in their 100% state.
3850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambling company that did hit the jackpot during the pandemic. on: March 30, 2021, 09:01:20 PM
I think a lot of online companies are doing really well in current conditions!

Speaking about the whole, I will disagree. Although some should be slowly going back on track by now.

Pointing to the gambling industry, despite the success of gambling amid pandemic, not all were able to sustain their operations especially that most people prefer to play on a much famous and known site.
3851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Internet connectivity - Gambling wins/losses on: March 30, 2021, 08:40:30 PM
But there's this one time, when I've bet on a team at the last minute and my internet slowed down which makes it hard for me to connect and set the bet. But after a couple minutes the bet was counted atleast 3 times and won the game. I've received 3 times the amount I supposedly won, I thought it will be deducted sooner but nothing happened after. Grin HAHAHAHHAHA

Weird. I don't think that is possible even on a sudden internet speed being slowed down. And it was placed 3 times, right?

In most cases, that bet won't go through as once the betting is closed, the interface (wherein on the page you are placing a bet) will just show up but when you refresh it, it's now unavailable. Or let's say it goes through, should only be a single bet.

Or maybe I missed something here lol.
3852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 30, 2021, 08:26:10 PM
Ray Parks, too proud and it would do nothing on his career. He said he is willing to step away from the game of basketball but i doubt that, he is just sour-graping.

And in the event wherein their top rookie, Mickey Williams explodes right at the start of the season, I doubt TNT will still push for Ray Parks service.

That rookie is expected to become one of TNT's best assets. Should be an NLEX pick but because of a 3-team trade deal, TNT got the hands of this top rookie.

But if they don't like that setup anymore, they can have it on a daily routine to have a swab test or antigen test a few hours or a day before a game is about to start. That's just going to give them assurance that as the season starts, there's no worry on it.

Regular testing is one of the main concerns back in planning to make a bubble setup for the first time. Other teams can't afford to do it on a regular basis as it was really expensive. If my memory serves me right, there are a total of 15-20 individuals per team allowed in the bubble (players, staff, coaches, etc) so just do the Math based on the average cost of testing. That's why COVID is really business as others says lol.

And not just that, another problem is, even they want a bubble setup, other players are allowed to opt-out if they don't want to play.
3853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Considering huge transaction fees, what coins to support on new gambling site? on: March 30, 2021, 08:00:28 PM
Yes, new gambling sites can add altcoins withdrawal system. By following this, it may help them for marketing. It will be considered as a marketing tool for them which will help a lot to grow faster and also will he helpful for gamblers too. But we are doing withdraw with forcibly high withdrawal fee.

Even with that feature, those new gambling sites will take a long road before being recognized. In some cases, a gambler will still stick to their preferred gambling site disregarding fees as it's riskier to just try those new sites just because they support all coins.

But in the event that the site survived the hard part, surely it will gather more gamblers on their site. Not that easy though if we will look at how vast now the crypto-gambling world is.
3854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your favorite base bet amount for 3rd party Slots? on: March 30, 2021, 07:45:51 PM

Like what slot providers are these? What gambling sites for example?

I check some of my preferred casino sites and most bets are still on the minimum $0.1.

Anyways, I will still go for a $0.1 - $0.2 minimum base bet. It's not that it's my favorite but I want things to just go smoothly especially when I'm feeling it.
3855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Give your opinion on crypto bookmakers on: March 29, 2021, 11:58:19 PM

5/5 Nitrogensports - Oldies but goodies. I never experience any problem here despite some complaints to them. Deposit and withdrawals are also quick. Their support is also quick when one time I've got a problem with switching phones on 2FA.

5/5 Stake - I'm biased because I'm lucky with their casino providers. That's the only reason why I'm staying at their casinos.

3/5 Betnomi - New to this site and currently in the progress of exploring the interface. But just reading comments on their ANN thread, everything is positive.
3856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambling company that did hit the jackpot during the pandemic. on: March 29, 2021, 11:39:54 PM
What do you think ?
Will the government think twice before keeping the gambling market the same or will they revert back when everything is normal.

As far as these gambling companies are paying the right tax and complying with the government's rule, I see there will be no changes about the policy even the pandemic will be over.

The downside is, there will be more illegal gambling operators that will pop out everywhere due to the fact that people can afford to gamble even amid the pandemic, and that means, they can gather more customers even they are unregulated or unlicensed. In that case, expect a hard regulation that might become a hassle to legit gambling operators and to their customers as well (hard KYC).
3857  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you guys happy if bitcoin will dropped to $10k? Why? on: March 29, 2021, 11:27:15 PM

I don't mind the fall but I'm more concerned about what will be the reason for that price dropped.

If it will happen within a year slowly, then maybe it's fine and not an overnight dropped. Market-related fall, and not because whales are doing some unreasonable big dumps.

I also like that idea of bitcoin price dropping to $10,000, that's a great opportunity to all, but if that's all about big institutions pulling their crypto investment, then I'd rather not see it anymore. That dropped to $10,000 might become one of the reason why investors should not take part again on buying crypto.
3858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 29, 2021, 10:57:47 PM

I just remembered a few days ago as I have seen in the news that Phoenix is really struggling financially due to the pandemic as the main reason. They are now at the point of selling their other assets to manage their debts.

I think we can relate it to what happened in their PBA team, Phoenix Fuel Masters wherein after successfully signing Calvin Abueva into a max contract of PhP15M Salary and now a done deal over a month ago, it's a big surprise that they traded him. Cost-cutting indeed.

But the good news is, they assured everyone that they won't leave PBA. So unfortunate as I really eyeing for a non-SMC team to be one of the contenders in the All-Filipino Cup. We see how they explode even without Abueva during the bubble.
3859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can someone explain how next roll prediction works please? on: March 29, 2021, 10:40:14 PM
I'm looking to understand how Bitcoin casinos work and how next roll game predictions work?

It's a provably fair algorithm. For more information and to have a glimpse at what it's all about, you can search for it.

You can also see some links directly to a bitcoin casino where there's an explanation about how their provably fair works. Since you are in the progress of understanding how bitcoin casinos work, I think you should encounter that term right now.

Bitcoin is a relatively new thing and it can be very difficult to understand. There are literally casinos popping up now...

Those are different things in general. Try to spend time learning the basics of Bitcoin.

About the casinos, stick on a single site first or those that already established their names. Using several casinos at the same time, especially you are a newbie will just lead you into a confusion of understanding the interface.
3860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: March 29, 2021, 10:11:02 PM
Why would I watch regular season and play-offs now? Salary cap used to have a meaning, now whole organisation is a joke.

As a long-time NBA enthusiast, you should be used to it.

It might be killing the competition but there are surprises. See how Miami Heat climb their way up in the last year's Finals upsetting those dominant ones? The Clippers who got wrecked by the Denver Nuggets is also one of a good example of a big upset in the last year's playoffs.

As for the Net's, yes they are now fully stacked but it doesn't mean they can't be beaten in a series.

And besides, as a bettor, we shouldn't take that as a big deal.
