3841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if you want to invest in crypto... on: October 11, 2020, 01:28:57 AM
nowadays scammers are using smarter strategy, that helps them to scam people without revealing identity. So it's difficult to find them out.
It had better avoid the project whose team members are known to you or you unable to analysis deeply about them but i know many projects were fail, where team members were real. So need to analysis properly even if the team is real

You better to deeper your analysis if you really wanted to work with projects that you'll going to invest your time and your money, scammers are everywhere, make sure to work out with your DYOR and keep yourself away from any possibilities of being victimized.

yes, actually there are many things that must be considered before investing, especially if this is an investment in the crypto industry. Doing thorough research on project and team credentials is a must. The next thing is to find out if the coins they represent are listed or will be listed. if not, then simply take part in BTC / ETH. At least your money is safe.

It's very important to learn if the team really have the intention to list the project because if there's none you will completely waste your time and money. No future for your investment but just totally scam.

Guess you finally stumbled upon provably fair and what it means. I learnt also that PF is not provably random, but at least if you can prove that the house and the gambler both cannot control the outcome,,, then it is fair for both (in some cases like if you RNG on blocks found on Bitcoin).

It's better that way, if both gamblers and house are unable to control the outcome then it's fair enough to continue enjoying the game.
Most of us always aiming and looking for some ways to take advantages within any luck based games but there's none, maybe just maybe if someone can take some decent benefits it's still not the majorities.

3844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 08, 2020, 05:29:07 PM
No doubt Lakers will end the series in 5, but how about the spread, can they finally cover it?

IIRC, they cover the spread in game 1, so they might live to cover the spread in game 5 if they'll end the series here.
I agree that they will.

Somehow, there are a few of us here that still wanting to see more of this finals and cheering up for Heat. But at the same time, we're seeing an end to this.

Knowing that Lakers are realy hunger for another title, they will take it once the opportunities is open!

though Miami can duplicate what they've done from game 3 trying to lock AD and not to allow him to dominate, while doing that
Butler needs to step up and bring the momentum to his team, tough but that's the only way to extend this series.
3845  Economy / Economics / Re: Sales of wedding rings are increasing on: October 08, 2020, 04:50:39 PM
Where do we get to see the stats about divorce during covid19?

I dont have stats, but it is clearly seen that nowadays people dont value family and marrige values. People now value individuality than union. Hole that this wedding increase would fix the situatuon.

There is a small chance, that people buy wedding rings just to “hold funds in gold”.  But this would be stupid. Better buy a bar than already created item.

I don't see that coming, buying wedding rings for te sake of investment, though who knows right. Moving back, there are lots of breakups and divorce as covid makes everyone stayed together for much longer time, irritations and annoying attitudes break the familes who lives in the same roof.

3846  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reach to $100K ? on: October 06, 2020, 08:32:36 AM
It's still questionable this year and will not going to reach that level, maybe in three years time I don't see a big happening that can make the price to reach $100k we'll just take it as it comes and stop hoping for $100 k unless we see something big that will make us realize that it's possible.

Halving just went good but pandemic virus affects the entire market, we don't know if how things will proceed the next following years to come, but there's always possibilities, if you have spare money and you can wait, then it's not bad to invest your money and wait, who knows maybe this prediction will happened.
3847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why don't you stop rushing to promote bounty from a scammed bounty manager on: October 06, 2020, 08:06:28 AM
There are so many shitty bounties nowadays and the reason why this type of bounty still exist is due to the participants encouraging it by promoting their project.

Lots of bounty hunters are just blindly joining hoping for luck to come out and bring them huge rewards, most probably the scam developers gained attentions since promoters are willing to participate even there's no assurance of possible rewards.

I am not shocked by this since there seems to be more people who got interested in crypto back in 2017 when bounties was paying good.

Indeed, and they are all thinking the same, hoping for the one that will bring them an easy catch.

And those people seems to only join any bounty that they could without even looking for details about the project.

Sad true, there are just jumping in without doing any research, just join and hope for luck and not the real development.
3848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need advice about my portfolio, can someone help? on: October 05, 2020, 04:39:27 AM
My portfolio right now is divided into 50% Litecoin 30% Eth and 20% Bitcoin. I want to restructure it between these coins (Or other coins), What should I do? I tune in and out of the crypto markets pretty often so my knowledge isn't optimal.

Personally I would.prefer if you remove a percentage from litecoin and invest it into Bitcoin and other small percentage into small cap altcoins with potential after doing proper research. Be aware that small cap projects are always risky.

He can keep some portion for litecoin if he really believe this project, but having the most of it inside his portfolio might need to be reassess, there are many new exchange coins that he can drive portions of his assets. Plan your investment much deeper and adjust if there's a need for you to deal with, crypto market is a never ending twist you needed to work with it to be compensated.
3849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: October 05, 2020, 04:25:20 AM
Good luck to the brave people that bet the Heat moneyline hehehe.

NBA experts, what has changed with the Heat in this game? My heart was telling me to bet Heat +9.5 and over 216.5, however, my head was telling me it might only be throwing away money.

The heart is where the money lies sometimes, congratulations to stadus and Reid once again, I couldn't watch the game, I felt asleep just before it got started but I'm so keep to get every details of how Heat were able to pull that, winning every single quarter of the game ?!

Butler do it with a strong signal that he won't give up easily.

Though the game is off for AD knowing that he's the big difference coming from this series, the dedication that we've seen from the Heat
brings them the win. Again, congrats to Stadus and Reid as they keep their mindsets risking for the underdog.
3850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good Morning from a Non-Bitcoiner on: October 04, 2020, 06:27:39 AM
For me, the message has good point but not totally true in all aspects. Yeah gold is costly but that's not bad since it is really valuable, banks could be a reliable place to store your money, properties are assets at the end of the day etc. You know, it was a sort of slogan that highlights crypto so what would you expect Cheesy.

Anyway, may I ask if your friend still not showing signs of interest to bitcoin? Because I really find it ironic to see a person sharing stuff about something but it was not his interest lol. I hope you can encourage him to do the stuffs you are doing.

For sure in back of his mind interest already flowing.

It's all about how you can take your advantages and how well you will interpret the actions inside this market, most of those people who are not aware yet from this chain do think the same, but somehow when they start gaining information interest start to show up. It's a matter of time and good decision making before they'll start to participate.
3851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Mark Magsayo vs Rigoberto Hermosillo on Oct 3 on: October 04, 2020, 05:58:11 AM
Magsayo really start very fast, but he has problems with Rigoberto's height, 3 inch advantage for Rigoberto. But it the end, Magsayo bounce back specially in the latter round to win by Split Decision,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5V0bwZacTQI

96-94 in for Hermosillo - Dr. Lou Moret
96-94 for Magsayo -  Zachary Young
100-90 - Rudy Barragan

I agree with the last post above me, if Magpayo win it shouldn't be that far  in terms of giving the scores.

That's really closed aside from the last judge who gave the  score for deciding this fight. Though it's not clear how did he see this while the two judges beside him saw that there's no big differences between the two.

3853  Other / Archival / Re: What will happen to bitcoin on a world war? on: October 04, 2020, 04:50:23 AM
Fiat does not immediately loses its value during the war, it is more of a gradual depreciation.

Correct, even there's incidents like this fiat will continue to depend from how the entire situation inside the country.
the value will take place if the economy is really worsen and it follows  the outcome.

Bitcoin will still be useful unless the physical networks where it travels is damaged, maybe post war, that will decide whether there is still value left because the war might have cause nuclear fallout.

Internet can be damage if the country really being hit by the war, bitcoin may not be useful without it. though the chances
is not really high but possibilities are there.

I think when war happens, bitcoin will be the least thing that I could think of, better focus on surviving because no use, having millions if you can't enjoy it.

I agree to that, surviving is the very first thing that all of us should in mind. Wealth is nothing when you are prone to die on the spot.
3854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie's guide to avoid ICO Scam on: October 03, 2020, 05:32:01 PM
this is discussed frequently on this forum but there are still many crypto users out there who are vulnerable to scam projects for several reasons. Moreover, they are tempted by high rewards and are not what they expect. I think anyone needs to be vigilant and not put their money in a shady project. and also be careful with the Defi project.

Very important before you release your money to any investment is to know the business / project much deeper.

every developers have promises but to value your money investors needs to take time in dealing with research, never to blindly
invest your money as it will hurt you once you become a victim of those so many scammers inside this industry, be very vigilant
and skeptical, better than being sorry after you made a mistake and loses your money.
3855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest in any cryptocurrencies! on: October 03, 2020, 05:11:55 PM
I think it's simply because all have a process stage. Talking about the salary of all work varies depending on how much we do it. Where analysis, investment experience, and financial support are the major items. This just my opinion.

Considering also your invested time and efforts, you'll be able to find success when you really deal to this market seriously. there's always potential to everyone who wanted to succeed, better to make sure that you are willing to go all in that's in terms of learning everything.

I think the most problem that happened to the newbies is want to make money with an instant way. They didn’t make any strategy how to manage some investment in cryptocurrency. The important thing is we must go through the process.

The problem is misconceptions regarding to this venue of investment, if you just jumped and ride without knowledge then surely you'll lose your money, always do your research and invest with your skills and knowledge before starting to invest in,.
3856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: October 03, 2020, 04:20:47 PM
I might bet on the Heat game 3 if the sportsbooks give us +16 hehehe. I have stopped watching the game, this again is another complete decimation by the Lakers. 4 - 0.
I just went to the site where I put my bets and there is a +16.5 for the Heat but the odds of it is 1.39 Cheesy.
I like how Stephen A. always analyze anything and he said that a sweep can happen here especially when the injuries happened to the Heat.

Now that Bam is back in Game 3, maybe just maybe they can win at least a game in this series. They are also confident that they can come back with this 0-2 hole.

The best thing to do is to wait for the Lakers to lead by double digit and maybe that +16.5 will be offered, that's live betting.

Here's a sample of what I got in game 2 through live betting, but this one was +15.5

That's really sweet! thinking that it will be a total blowout but Lakers start not to convert that much in the final quarter.

Butler tried doing everything but without additional force help it's really difficult for him, Lakers keeps on
adjusting placing Davis with him and switching LeBron it's really hard even he tried everything Lakers duos
 still dominating everything.
3857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 03, 2020, 02:55:53 PM
Okay someone already posted about Bam going back.
That's great news.

But even with that, I hope Coach Spoelstra remains the same as he did Game 2.
It was a great rotation. But since there is no confidence for the 2nd team or they are still cold, they may still need more time to adjust.
Put Bam, give him rest, put Leonard. Then try to twist something else. Bam and Olynyk or Bam and Leonard.
That way, they won't be predictable with the plays they are trying to make.
I want the Heat to win. Even just 1 this Game 3. Give the fans some spark of a good game.
Agree to that! as rotation needs to be more unpredictable instead of keeping the same squad where Lakers already have a counter in every rotation that coach Erick have. With combining new sets of players and allow them to play and adds some spice to their offense and defense. Let's see if how they can cope up and try to win against the dominating Lakers! Good luck
3858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Mark Magsayo vs Rigoberto Hermosillo on Oct 3 on: October 03, 2020, 12:08:56 AM
^^ Thanks for this, I was just looking at it right now, odds are really not attractive.

So I'm not really sure if I'm going to put a bet on for Mark. Probably will just waited this out, and just watch how he destroys Hermosillo.

Not really worth to bet on Magsayo, if you are rooting for him. But if something unexpected happens here and Hermosillo will win, those bettors that place bet on him will go home big time. For me, I'll just watch this fight and enjoy the popcorn.  Grin

Better to find another fight instead of risking to this odd, or another option is to parlay it with other available fight.
Though it's still not worthy to risk your money with such very low outcome, Magsayo has been a heavy favorite with his
current stats and for sure bookies seen that huge advantages so they give this kind of odd.
3859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple (XRP) will complete global expansion into 195 countries by 2021 on: October 02, 2020, 11:35:13 PM

i have been using xrp for quite some time now and that is because of their very economical transfer fee and who would contest about their tx time, one of the fastest ive used so far. so if they are exploring their opportunities to those countries, let us see how many institutions or merchants are they going to convince to include xrp as their payment method?
im not against with this coin but you need to hold your horses as others have mentioned, it really depends on the XRP team.

With such use I can also say that transactions fees and speed is really acceptable. I'm using this coin with my gambling activities.
sending small amount of my campaign payment to my sports betting site, it's really useful on my end.
In regards to this update, will be depend from how the team brings in investors businesses to to support this chain, impact will be
seen once there are true people and businesses that will go all in to this moves.
3860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: October 02, 2020, 10:46:05 PM
I don't know what to expect from the game, but I sure hope Lakers doesn't underestimate the Heat for their injury list worries

Lakers don't have a mindset like that. When they fought small Rockets, they didn't even take it as an advantage. Against the Miami Heat, it will be the same.

I will not risk for Miami Heat Moneyline even I'm rooting for them to win. Reality over Fan. They aren't 100% complete.

Maybe I will try for other betting options such as handicaps or point spreads.

Point spread is good, at least it's a big safer than putting your bet in ML where Heat has a very less chance of winning. Though you'll get a good return, but if you don't trust the heat to upset the Lakers in game 2, then better not force, so true, don't follow your emotion, see the reality.
Well said! If you  ain't trusting the Heat  much  better to find other alternatives to bet with  the game, it's  much lesser risk if you know how to analyze.  The chance for Heat  to win  is really slim  if those 2 stars which  are questionable to play  won't be there for them.  Though there's handicap but knowing the Lakers  if they seen the opportunities they'll  surely grab it at all cost.
