@morvillz7z.. 0-1 for me in the preseason, I'll bounce back today.

Today's game Dallas vs Bucks.

I'm laying my bet on the Dallas Mavericks here, I like the underdog in the preseason as games are very unpredictable.
Dallas Mavericks is still a very consistent to me, they can play without their star player so if Luka will be limited tonight, I still trust the his teammates to finish the game with a high competition, so my bet is Dallas +4.5
3842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 11, 2020, 10:34:06 PM
PG13 will probably stay this time around, I can't guarantee it but I do not see anything much more marvelous in his career from here on out for the next 5 years. However clippers may decide to trade him if they can find someone to take it in the later stages of the contract. Both parties have done this before and parted ways, Clippers gave Blake Griffing a 5 year contract and then send him to detroit not even a full year later, and PG13 had a huge contract with OKC and requested trade as well, which somehow didn't even effected OKC that much because they still went to first round even without PG13 and westbrook.

So, what we have is 5 year contract but two parties that never cared for it. Let's see if things will be different this time around and will they keep their promises this time.

Their real journey will start this season, with a new coach, hopefully they'll have more success together.
IMO, this is the best team PG have played and with Leonard, he has a chance to win an NBA Championship which is a dream of a star player to cement their legacy.

He was given a chance this season, if he will not improve and management will not see their expectation, a trade is possible because it means he does not fit with the team.
3843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: December 11, 2020, 10:22:15 PM
^Oh i'm definitely starting today, i've circled Bulls to beat Rockets, not sure whether it's going to be FH or FH/FT (very tempting odds) yet.
Might put more bets on the two early games, but need to see their lineups first.

Bulls starting lineup: White, LaVine, Porter, Markkanen, Carter as per K.C. Johnson on twitter.

Rockets: not sure if Wall and Cousins will play but even if they do it won't more than 15min

Interesting, I like the line movement in favor of the bulls too, opened at +1 now at -3, and considering bulls is not a good team in the regular season than the Rockets, I think they'll play harder and they'll start in preseason. I'm gonna follow your pick, I'm not really concentrating on capping games yet.
3844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: December 11, 2020, 10:03:48 PM
Do you have some picks today?  Smiley

Me, I think I will just play it for fun, I will not share my picks yet since this is a preseason games, it's very unpredictable and key players might be setting in most of the games to avoid injury. Let's have fun and just bet a little, save the money for the regular season where real job will start.

3845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 10, 2020, 12:04:57 PM
I'm sure people are surprise that China is in the list.

In general, gambling is illegal in china but not in Macau, and according the article I read, majority the revenue of Casinos in Macau are coming from tourist or safe to say non Chinese people.

you can read more information on this site. https://www.casino.org/blog/gambling-laws-china/

The Chinese government is very profit-oriented and communistic in nature they do not allow their citizen to gamble, only foreigners but they run the state-run lottery and state-sponsored gambling sites for foreigners that is the reason why Macau and Hongkong are a great tourist hub because they know that gamblers love scenic spot and great hotels, they are more commercialist than those democratic countries.

I think chinese citizens are allowed to gambling in Macau, that's according to the link provided by Questat

https://www.casino.org/blog/gambling-laws-china/

here.

Quote
Although gambling is illegal in mainland China, as we well know, Macau is a gambling hub! Macau is the only place where you can legally gamble in China – but it’s not easy for Chinese citizens to get visas in order to visit.

The article just said major revenue are coming from tourists which means they also earn money from chinese gamblers, probably the reach chinese citizens.
3846  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbooks that aren’t paying out on Biden winning the US Presidential Election on: December 10, 2020, 11:45:21 AM
Cloudbet.com is still not paying out .
I guess there's still a lot more gambling sites who are still not playing, correct me if I'm wrong.

Hopefully we will see some update in this thread on gambling sites have have already paid or graded the bets on the last election.
3847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 07, 2020, 07:54:19 AM
There is still so much time left before Feb.20 so many things can happen before this.
Logan Paul is so much more big then Floyd but Floyd is the best boxer ever.
So it will be a good test for Logan Paul if floyd must put on extra weight to make fight.
I doubt Mayweather will be outsmarted here, Paul only has 2 fights in his career, last was against an NBA player while Mayweather has already gone throug a lot of battle against the best in the world, and some of them are still active, to name, we have Manny Pacquiao and Alvarez. he both beat them.
3848  Economy / Economics / Re: I lost my job, how about you guys? on: December 07, 2020, 05:46:52 AM
Unfortunately, the pandemic affected all of us negatively, we have come to the level of losing our jobs. some of us were laid off. we have to try to make money from our seat at this time, but how?
^ you can make money from your seat if you have skills like writing, making a video, and coding then you have nothing to worry about. we have to be independent because if we only depend on a job it will not be able to guarantee our future. invest in your skills and knowledge.
That's still a job, because your skills will make you qualify for the job. What some people don't understand is on how to invest on business, we can invest and do our job at the same time if we are wise, so if one source of income will be lost there's the other one that we can expect to generate income.

I'm saying this because once in my life I have also lost my job, and I really struggle, but now I'm wiser because I learn from my experience and it makes me more mature to make a decision to minimize the risk of struggling financially in the future.
3849  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: December 07, 2020, 05:32:00 AM
I don't think so, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are only good as an alternative currency for fiat, it cannot replace fiat so it cannot be a worldwide currency, the volatility of cryptocurrency makes it impossible as the standard currency all over the world. Imagine if you are going to buy something in a Sari-sari store, do you think that it would be possible and convenient to use cryptocurrency for payment? that is not good because it requires first the internet and device which is not good for having fast transaction for that thing.
Everyone should embrace bitcoin in order for bitcoin to be fully adopted, however, I don't see it happening even in the long run. Bitcoin during the early stage was already declared as an alternative currency, so it cannot replace the usual currency we are using that is based on centralized system.

It's okay to hope for success of bitcoin but it's unrealistic if we think of these things.
3850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake or nitrogen my point of view on: December 07, 2020, 05:23:24 AM

This is probably the biggest issue for casinos nowadays, there are so many casinos with good designs that all casinos are having problems keeping their players from leaving especially if those other casinos offer great deposit bonuses, but the way they have to counter that is to give loyalty bonuses themselves to keep their gamblers happy, unfortunately most casinos concentrate themselves in keeping whales and they disregard small gamblers which I think is a mistake.

I agree a gambling site should cater to everybody, whales or small bettor, they should concentrate on the number and not on profit alone, of course, whales will bet a huge amount of money, but they should set up a community not just a group of whales, they need reviews coming from both whales and small bettors.

They'll make more money if they will have a lot of volume of gamblers compared to whales.

Whales are smart, they are in the business to make money but most of the bettors will simply lose in the long run, and that's the advantage the casino has.

In terms of number of bettors, I think for now stake is bigger, you can tell by the bets being shared and their marketing is really effective that's why they were able to grow and compete with the biggest sportsbook in the space.
3851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $WAVES to hit $10 price soon? on: December 07, 2020, 04:17:30 AM
Not only WAVES whose price has increased dramatically this year, several other altcoins have also experienced the same thing.
I agree that later this year it is very likely that WAVES will hit a price of $ 10, I recommend short-term investments. Because it
is very risky to invest in altcoins nowadays, the price can suddenly drop. So it is safer to invest in Bitcoin, but altcoins are for
short-term only. So once we have a profit, just sell the WAVES that we have, later when the price drops we can buy it again.
Waves seems to be hype this month, while most of the coins in the top 100 are having a little drop today, waves had an increase of almost 5%. Of course we are not talking of daily movement only, we are talking if Waves would reach $10 soon, I think it's possible but all depends if bitcoin will surpass its ATH.
3852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 07, 2020, 03:53:24 AM

Why not aim for NBA championship?

I guess they already understand that their current line up is not capable of doing it.

I think they are making some preparations for the later season since they have been dominating the playoffs this last decade and also won some championships. Now that they don't have the big 3 in their line ups, they need to reconstruct their team since it didn't work well with Demar Derozan. If they can find other good players to build up the team then their dream to get back to the playoff will become a reality since they also have a veteran coach in their hands.

The west has improved a lot, we have Dallas, Nuggets, Blazers and even the new look suns now can be a problem with the Spurs.  What they do is stick with their line up, they still keep DeRozan which I think not worth for the salary he is making, so for me, they need to trade him to improve the team, otherwise, their best achievement will only be a playoffs spot.
3853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Gamblers! What is your excuse to avoid a game with 0% House Edge? on: December 07, 2020, 01:52:02 AM
The point of gambling is not winning, the point of gambling is having fun...
For me, those two should come together, you don't have fun unless you win.
That's my personal view although and I respect your view as well, but in the end of the day, as long as we are not risk of losing everything, we will be alright.

https://www.nba.com/news/beal-excited-for-spark-westbrook-will-bring-to-wizards

I'm happy to hear this kind of news, it's so positive that a start player of Wizards are excited to play with Westbrook. Hopefully their chemistry will be develop easily, one of them needs to adjust, I guess it will be Beal because Westbrook will always be himself, aggressive and willing to shot the ball without hesitation.
2 ball handlers and also aggressive at finishing in the paint.
But it can't be all offense for these two. They also need to contribute with the defense which will matter a lot for the Wizards to succeed.
Maybe just taking Wizards back to the playoffs is a good step already.
They need to involve their teammates as well, both will lead the team and they just need to build a chemistry.
you are right, getting in the players is one step forward, next season make some improvement again then they'll be a threat.

Good news for Spurs fans.
The goal for the Spurs remains the same: to make the playoffs

Why not aim for NBA championship?

I guess they already understand that their current line up is not capable of doing it.
3855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr. vs. Danny Garcia IBF & WBC Welterweight Title on: December 07, 2020, 01:29:14 AM
Ok so he is back, show flashes of his old self in beating a plodding Danny Garcia, Lol. But to be honest, it's a win, but I'm not impressed though of Spence. I think if he and Crawford will fight next year, definitely, I will go for Crawford. Both has sharp jab, but what separates is that Crawford is somewhat a cerebral fighter, and has a good timing. Anyhow, we all wanted both of them next year in the right and prove who is the best 147 lbs right now. Winner fights Manny, for all the glory and their biggest pay check of their carrier.

Not that much impressive but still a win indeed. Watching the fight with lots of defensive style, not much of explosive change of
punch, just normal one that fans will wait for the final announcement.

With what you mentioned regarding to the next possible fight against Crawford, that might be the challenged for Spence how he'll
counter those punches that Crawford will throw.

We will enjoy that one as it's probably one of the biggest if not the biggest next year. However, we need both camps to agree as their undefeated record is at stake here, but I think it's already due, they'll make big money for that risk, so it's worth the risk.
3856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance deserves the first Position on CMC on: December 06, 2020, 10:45:59 PM
Many people are saying that binance ranked was manipulated because they now acquired coinmarketcap, they are now rated 1st on coinmarketcap but the truth is binance exchange deserves to be ranked first, what's your take on this??

1. Binance exchange cares about their reputation
2. They offer the best customer supports
3. The exchange have high Liquidity and volumes
4. IEO don't fail on this exchange because the team do their own research on projects before listing
5. For many it's always about the money but for binance its about money, reputation and their customers

They have every right to keep making money if that's why many are mad with binance, as far as they are satisfying customer whatever they make shouldn't be your problem
Even before binance bought CMC, i still found that binance deserves what they have done in this market, the real projects in this market are expected to be listed on binance, it is stable and many more wonderful things. If you look at the current competitors with binance, can you see the difference, when binance is building their own ecosystem.

Even before it was bought by CMC, Binance was already in top of the list, they just improve more now that CMC was already owned by them.
There's a big difference already in the competition, the volume of Binance is way bigger compared to the exchanges following Binance in the listing.

For now, Binance is not dropping to $1 billion trading volume per day, that means they are making a lot of money in the crypto space and they can buy anything that will help improve their platform, and that's the reason why it's good to invest with Binance.
3857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 06, 2020, 10:32:41 PM
Let us witness together if Westbrook will make the team great, or sh*t. Grin

If ever the team will be shit, it's all their fault and not just Westbrook. They are shit for 2 years now.

Wizards, even with the soft competition in the East are struggling even at the 8th spot. They missed playoffs for 2 seasons now and Beal can't carry the whole team, or should I say, there is no one stepping up on that team aside from Beal. Instead of we can see other players stepping up as John Wall is injury, there are no changes at all. Westbrook can help them reached the playoffs again. For the Conference Finals, it has a low chance. With their current lineup, there is no way they can match the current roster of top 5 or 6 contenders in the East.

This is certainly different compared to the Rockets, when Westbrook was traded to Rockets in exchange of CP3, they were expecting for the Rockets to be a championship contender, but here, less pressure and getting into the playoffs would already make the management happy.
3858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Proof of pure luck on: December 06, 2020, 07:22:50 AM
Without having luck, it is not possible to win the game.
I don't really believe on that, sorry.

So if you are betting on a certain game, and you believe you are not lucky, would you know you will lose?

I think probability is more realistic than thinking of luck.
3859  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚡ LOOT.BET — Made For Live Betting | Esports, Slots, Mini Games on: December 06, 2020, 07:02:29 AM
I did not know that this site has been around for 4 years now.
I also never heard the name of their platform and never visited their platform. Since they have been running their activities for four years then of course there are many players here who have tested their platform.
Loot bet announce their website in July this year because that we never heard before. I think not many forum members playing into this site even they never create any signature and ads here. But as I know Loot.bet was mentioned over 3 years ago when Skincoin announce they accepted as a payment method on Loot.bet

Yes, it's because they never run a signature campaign as far as I can remember. That's why they are off the grid in the last 3-4 years from most gamblers here. While some of their contemporaries did have a campaign successfully and then grow big. So we really don't know what's the reason behind, but they have succeeded to become relevant, and for sure capture some gamblers here.

Maybe because they are not so active in the forum, some gambling sites ANN thread are updated on a daily basis, I check OP's account and it seems it's not active daily, so maybe time will come they will focus in the forum to increase the number of their gamblers.
