3841  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trade against USD or BTC? on: August 24, 2019, 03:25:17 AM
Maybe my strategy when face something like you is, i trade with BTC. But not sell it immediately when BTC price down. For what we always count it in USD if we not want to sell it. And if BTC price keep down, it means i must trade again and gain more BTC to get more money when BTC price is down if compared with USD. I think that simple thing because if we already trade in BTC, we must ready for anything that happen. If we already get profit from BTC, and BTC price againts USD is increased, OP might be not created this thread because he get more profit from it.
3842  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who Else is Expecting the Ultimate Rise of Bitcoin? on: August 23, 2019, 04:52:44 PM
I am agree with bitcoin will get ultimate rise, but for how much it will b e or maybe $100.000 maybe it is too high for that time. Need a lot of money to pump bitcoin price to that high and a lot of investors money already drained in ICO. I actually know and understand there are a lot of rich people out there who can do that and easily do that. But to make them believe bitcoin can be really good asset to make an investment, it is hardest thing to do. Maybe for next halving it can be around $40.000 or maybe $50000 and then bitcoin price make correction again.
3843  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you fund ICOs ? on: August 20, 2019, 11:32:37 PM
I have join ICO once as investors, and it not end well  because price in market is not really good after listed and it keep getting worse only in time. For me, ICO is something that almost like gambling because actually we don't know what will happen to project that we invested and then profit or lose is always depends on the project itself. But when you pick good Project, or at least know when to sell the tokens, you can get profit because usually after listed on market, it will get pumped a little. Maybe take chance on that time is good thing. About Ethereum, it already steady and stand in market although ICO trend not come yet, so i think no matter ICO is happen or not, Ethereum, bitcoin and other coins will be good as long there are demands on market.
3844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many new traders are playing to lose on: August 20, 2019, 11:19:16 PM
At least he will learn something about that. But maybe a lot of people face something like what your friend do too. Especially if they can get their first profit. My friend after get his first profit, really confident about trading and use all his money. I already warn and i said it is better to get a lot of capital first with earning coin but like what peoples do, they try it by themself and then lose in trading because don't know basic or maybe strategy in trading. Only know buy and sell coin.

3846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Small Cap Alts Speculation on: August 12, 2019, 06:52:21 AM
That's because everyone says 90% ICOs are scam. Because many project just want raised money, and the gone with the money. Only few project in this space looks like seriously building a real project, to reach their goal. One important to me about project is, 'the idea itself is needed a blockchain'. If not? Why some project doing ICO in this blockchain space? To make money? *Fyuhh
I agree... lately, it is increasingly difficult to know which projects are serious or not serious in developing a project. all of them will give promises with very convincing but in the journey, if the investor's funds have been collected they no longer care about the project.
I think that 90% people maybe already learned something from what is already happened in past. I think project that  not show how much they got really should be considered to avoid or maybe we should make deep research about it.

Projects that conduct ICOs do not show wallets with the amount of investment collected. They say that this is protection against hackers. What can I say, some ICOs do not show their faces.
It means they still afraid with hackers, i think nonsense reason if Developer afraid with hackers, they must already have  staff to prevent it or maybe be careful with it. If they still doubt about their security, how we can believe they can really keep our money safe.

Volume was not affected a lot, what significant change for this coin is the price it self, it used to hold at least 1 usd, now it's down to $.65 already.
I'm afraid this dump will continue if they will not do anything to stop the dumping.

68 usd ATH, if it dump 10 times lower, it should be 6.8 usd, but now its .65 usd, so it did dump 100 times, is my math correct?
Yes you're right. if the ATH is 65 $, then right now, the price is really very far from the ATH. Well, it can even be said that this is a 100% decrease since the ATH was reached. if the team does not do something, there is a possibility the price will go down even deeper. Well, the price is quite far to see from 64 $ to 0.64 $
I think for now it is not surprised if price of altcoin can be decreased more than 100 times. Bitcoin price really affect and a lot of other factors can make altcoin price get dumped. I think with ATH that so high, we can speculate if it is maybe can increased again although lower than it's ATH.

3849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: if btc drops... on: August 11, 2019, 06:57:25 PM
if btc drops to 7-8k range what happens to alts?
Possibility that can happen to alts, maybe bitcoin price drops, people start to buy BTC, and then they convert bitcoin to alts. Altcoin demand increased, but still same, it is in BTC. But in USD might be almost same because BTC price dropped. That is what i see in past. But for now maybe other thing can happen like, bitcoin price drops, people sell their alts to bitcoin and then sell bitcoin to fiat, make it worse.  Grin
Another dumped cycles can happen but sooner or later it will bounced back, investors should realized things while crypto still young and the market adoptions is not that huge, the price might fall over  and over brining more weak holders to sell out and domino reaction will take place, make sure to pick the right side and not to lose your invested money with certain mistake that you'll going to side your position.
If we know the circle of crypto price, maybe when domino reaction happen, it wouldn't be problem for us because we know where price will go. No one can actually predict what will happen and what we can do only prepare if worst case happenned.
3850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] BitValve - Buy Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin with PayPal, Bank and more on: August 11, 2019, 05:22:43 AM
How are you going to change crypto money to PayPal and vise-versa? Do you know, that PayPal have  buyer protection and people are able to refund money in 45 days? You just can become a bankrupt...

This will be done by the trader who will own the listing. We will act as a trusted escrow service for the other party's cryptocurrency funds, offering 50% less fees than the current market.
Maybe what he means is what will you do if you got "bad" buyer. Because out there sometime that kind of people use Paypal's refund feature and market that allow people to use paypal to exchange to another currency must really careful with it.

3852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheapest Coins On Any Exchange on: August 11, 2019, 04:32:25 AM
Cheapest coin maybe 1 satoshi if the coin still listed in market. But usually market will really fast to delist cheapest coin in their market or maybe dead coins and then change to listed new one. But if pick carefully, cheap coin in market sometime can be treasure because can't pumped high from it's current price.
3853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will NEO and ETH reach ATH in next bull run??? What you think guys??? on: August 09, 2019, 03:18:48 PM
If we are going to talk about the bull run, then I think it is going to be a yes since NEO and ETH are just one of the top coins right now. The problem is right now, they are not pulling up even though bitcoin continues to break its barriers.
I think bitcoin itself still not get pump phase yet. We can see there are no more pumped price or maybe some big people still accumulate in this level. Or maybe a lot of traders still focus on bitcoin and when it get pumped very high, they usually take profit and change to alts. Maybe ETH and other altcoins have chance to get pumped when that time come.
3854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: invest? gambling? or trade again? on: August 09, 2019, 04:43:22 AM
If must pick on that 3 options, i will pick on trade again. For a note, trade a coin that already listed in market for long time. 2 other options that OP give is really risky because for now invest in something that we don't really know it's progress almost same with gambling, only win or lose that we can aim. And gambling, everyone already know risk behind it. So, trade is best choice in that 3 options.
In a usual situations, traders will continue to see the benefits of this business, whether the market is rising or it's suffering from big downfall, there's always a good chance to earned, most of the day traders finds different ways to take advantage, shorting and following moving coins brings small but decent profits, you have to choose your own ways according to your interest not just because someone told you, deal with your own skills and knowledge and enhance to grow better.
If skills already used, maybe 3 options that OP mention will be good to pick. Because each people have their own skills. Like when someone good at gambling but not in trading, or maybe master in gambling or maybe expert in investment. But maybe i answer for people who usually still new in crypto and it can help them to avoid bigger risk in crypto because new people must learn more first.
3855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC? on: August 08, 2019, 06:51:38 AM
I am a newcomer to the crypto market.
Should I invest in ICO projects or would I buy bitcoin to hold and wait for the price? Please give me advice.
Sincerely thank you.
my recommendation is we need to buy the Bitcoin for the future because it is more than everything this is my opinion but lots of people have different mind set about picking different investment but what is my opinion is we need to be good in future so we have to spend lots of investment in Bitcoin only.
Bitcoin will be good for future investment. Because in here we talk about safe investment. Altcoin might be good idea but top 3 maybe can be options. ETH and bitcoin usually move in same pattern because once 1 get pumped, other  get pumped too. And it is already happen many times, maybe a lot of people already concern about this thing and some of them might be have same answer about it.

3858  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc dump. It is time for some alts to recover against BTC on: July 24, 2019, 03:22:33 AM
I am seeing btc can dump to as low as $7700 level. I think it is not the end of BTC bull run but as BTC dominance so high and alts bleeding from January against BTC i think it is time now for some alts to recover.

XRP went down from 10000 sat to as low as 2800 sat. My bet goes to XRP this time and i think can recover to 4500 - 6000 sat area.
If pick good alts maybe it can recover when bitcoin price dump. But i think XRP is not a bad coin to pick. Because it have a lot of supporters, maybe my choice after ETH and XLM lumens. Or maybe pick Litecoin is good too.
All the coins you stated are good coins, you can buy it now as they are cheap actually but you also have to put in mind that they need time to grow, and that timing could possibly come when bitcoin is doing better rising and reaching a new ATH.
I think for an investment, no matter about time as long it can give us profit we should wait for it. Investment itself actually something that need to be done in long term and for me, if in short time maybe i will call it trading activity.
3859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose a good ICO, what criteria? on: July 24, 2019, 02:43:02 AM
I see a kind of promotion at the end of OP's post  Grin, but actually it is ok, we must see carefully to pick ICO because it will affect on our money when we make investment in it. And usually ICO maybe at least have very active developers and do their progress according their roadmap.

Yes, we must always be vigilant and more careful before investing in an ICO project, making sure that the entire project has a good work map. besides that we also have to see how the team experiences before managing the project that they want to develop, if they have good experience of course the project can also run well.
Good work map, and maybe a lot of things that can make it plus point need to research by investors. I mean sometime with good roadmap plan, some developers not too able to realize the plans that are on their roadmap. And then the coins not improved.
