3841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the odds of other outcomes matter to you? on: December 05, 2020, 11:59:59 AM

Chelsea -> 1.36 = 68.49%
Draw -> 4.70 = 21.28%
Leeds -> 5.68 = 17.61%

This totals up to 107.38%, so Sportsbet's vig is 7.38% in this market.

I'm curious, how did you calculate this chances of winning, do you have a formula with that which you can share?

I know the odds, in sports betting but I don't really get how to compute the exact chances of every bet.

Thank you Hhampuz for the opportunity, this campaign is currently on hold but hopefully they will resume soon.

I'll still find myself available when that time comes.
3843  Local / Pilipinas / ATH na ba? on: November 30, 2020, 03:20:57 PM
Kabayan sana gising pa kayo para ma enjoy ninyo ang takbo ng bitcoin ngayon.
I believe we will see a new ATH tonight as we welcome a new month .

Before, December nag ATH, pero I think November this time.

Enjoy muna natin ang ATH tsaka na natin pag usapan ang possible correction at dip nito.

3844  Economy / Speculation / Re: TO THE MOON! on: November 30, 2020, 03:05:55 PM
Here we go again, look like the FOMO has already invaded the forum too.
Well, I can retire with $1 million but I will still play with crypto, when you are making money in crypto, there's no stopping you.

I don't know when would that happen but I believe as long as I stay here, invest with bitcoin, I could achieved that.

Remember we are just in $20k soon, I don't want to overreact.
3845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 30, 2020, 01:51:40 PM
Rumors;
The Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets each had high hopes for the 2020-21 NBA season earlier in the offseason. Since then, Klay Thompson has been ruled out due to a season-ending injury— leaving Stephen Curry as the sole active member of the “Splash Brothers.” Meanwhile, both James Harden and Russell Westbrook want to be traded.

If this trade will come into reality, what does it make the Warriors?

I dont see that as a reality. Wizards should get young players and pay them to gain experiences s when next year add Kay they go for playoffs. To trade their future fro a star that will retire in few years seems very bad. Westbrook will go to a team that will compete for championship.

You mean warriors bro, Wizards have John Wall and they are not a championship contender kind of a team.
Klay has a successful operation but no assurance that he will be healthy by next season or no assurance the will be reinjured again.

Now, let's talk about the current situation, warriors have no Thompson, or someone with playoffs experience like Curry, but if WB will be traded to the team then it could increase the value of GSW to win an NBA championship.
3846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 30, 2020, 01:15:58 PM
Park was just forcing himself to play in game 1, I thought it was not serious, but if he will not play in game 2, I think TNT will struggle as he is the leading scorer of the team. I'd like to take advantage on this news by betting on Ginebra in game 2 but the line is not yet out.

Exactly, he was limping and yet he still force himself to play because he wants to win, it's just a mistake that they allow the Ginebra to force an OT and TNT seems to be tired in the OT due to their lack of defense and their shots aren't falling.

TNT needs some attacker because they can't just solely rely on 3 points which is not a high percentage shot, and they have to put a body on Japeth, he was killing the TNT's big man.

They only have Castro and Ray Parks who are consistently doing that, without Ray Parks in game 2, it will be a big loss for the TNT who need a win to even the series. I don't think TNT would win in the series if they will loss game 2, I mean it's only based on probability, but Ginebra does not left any opportunity slip away.

I'm wondering what's the betting odds for game 2.
3847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]Canelo Alvarez vs Callum Smith Super Middleweight Title on: November 30, 2020, 11:15:35 AM
Betcoin.ag has the best odds for this fight, at 1.19, I think if you are confident enough that would already be a good odds.
For me, I think I'll wait for the asian handicap, there's still plenty of time to bet since this will be next month, so hopefully that time all odds will be display.
Alvarez to KO Smith in 5 rounds or less, I guess you'll get a good odds for that.
This is not the fight what we are anticipating, but who knows, this one would become an exiting fight as the current situation may have affected our fighters.
3848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: November 30, 2020, 10:55:32 AM
Never forget that whatever the income this investment might generate you are always relying on a third party to hold and secure your coins. If something goes wrong (and it can be anything from theft to scam) you might end up losing everything. I will consider these kinds of investments neither safe nor profitable as the unknown is always behind the corner.
That's definitely the biggest risk when investing in a casino, we don't own the platform, anytime they could go dark taking our coins, so everyone should be aware of that risk, and don't just focus on the reward. Those who are saying that investing in a casino gives easy money, they are 100% WRONG!
3849  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be hitting to $35000 soon - Buy it today!! on: November 30, 2020, 10:18:05 AM
Going to $36K from current $18K isn't even a 2x, sounds terrible. It just sounds like what people would say if they bought Bitcoin under $10K and want to sell around $35K  Roll Eyes

It's these sort of greedy claims that cause corrections in my opinion, that and the obscene amount of greed in the Bitcoin and crypto markets.
You just hit the truth bro, the current price of Bitcoin if given the 2X won't be able to amount to the speculation made. Yes of course we are going higher than we were before but i can't see any magic which will take us from here to having 4X. Aside this, there hasn't be a speculating price of Bitcoin that ended up exactly, so, we shouldn't be greedy in speculating Bitcoin price honestly.

I think what annoys me more is this idea of $35K being some sort of short-term target, and while completely possible if $20K is broken, I don't see any relevance of this level what so ever. Apart from trying to attract investors who want to 2x their money. People who wanted 2x should of bought at $9K and sold at $18K, not that hard to be honest...

Instead, these short-term speculative predictions only attract short-term speculators. It's just better to say the target based on stock to flow and logarithmic growth is $100K, minimum. Actually attract investors who are going to hodl for a year or two, not just a month or two. The latter only attract short-term speculators, not investors. We don't need more speculators.

It's possible to reach that price in short term, however, people might not like the counter movement as certainly a dump will follow. When the hype is on, bitcoin price goes like crazy, both uptrend and downtrend, so if we want to take advantage, we should know how to play in short term.
3850  Economy / Economics / Re: 2020-2021 best year if You Want to become rich no skills needed on: November 29, 2020, 11:02:46 PM
I wouldn't advice anyone to take a loan to invest in crypto currency. It's like borrowing money to gamble.
Cypto profits may come in few days or years, it's unpredictable, but a loan starts with a timeline to be repaid. If the person isn't able to make his investment worth by the loan timeline it's game over, as the bank interest will start accumulating frighteningly. It's a very unresponsible decision to do so.
Loan is not a solution it will be better to do online jobs and use that amount for trading. Loan will have addition interest while if we know how to trade and have other skills to offer crypto services then it's better to start with that.

Some people can take that risk man, of course that's a huge gamble but if you are lucky enough you can still make a decent profit and you'll be able to pay the loan on time. We don't know what every trader or investors are thinking, if it's in my case, if I can borrow like $5000 and payable in 1 year, I would not hesitate to borrow it, but I would only invest if the market is bearish, not the current situation though.
3851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 29, 2020, 10:48:16 PM
No doubt that Washington was lucky however Tolentino was luckier. Oops Cheesy! I thought that TNT will won already, thanks to Castro's tear drop shot miss. Ginebra extend the match and won.

It was a close match so we can really say that this series will not end by a domination. Ginebra should not be complacent, they must keep the hustle. Congrats to all Kabaranggays and winning bettors.

Turn off the television because I thought that TNT already won that one but when I woke up, I was greeted by the news that Ginebra won that OT game. Ohh boy, that was a heart breaker, lol. Never say die strikes again. Yup, you are correct, this series would be a chess match and I think coach Tim will win this one.

Why did you turn off the television man? You don't deserve to be a fan of the Ginebra because you don't have the mentality of never say die..  Grin Grin Grin
Kidding aside, well, impressive win by the Ginebra, Tim cone done a well initiated play to make stan a decoy and let the Rookie do the score.

All in all, it was a great performance by the team but it was really L.A. the one who made this team better, the ball should in his hands always, he is so unpredictable.

ps. if PARKS shoot all 2 FT, things could be different.
3852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we gonna see a new ATH this year? on: November 29, 2020, 10:22:58 PM
there is a possibility from few altcoins that will create new high in this year,,
but most of them will create new high next year buddy

Talking about possibilities, yes of course, but think about how high or low the possibility is.
Don't bother anyway, just look at bitcoin, and if bitcoin creates a new ATH, then that's the time we will start speculating on our favorite altcoins.

3854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊[Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: November 29, 2020, 08:09:18 AM
People believe that Tyson won the fight, but Jones Jr. is smart, he felt the power of Tyson so he wasn't engaging match, it wasn't as what we are expecting, clinching after clinching..  Grin

You can't do anything to Tyson it's either you will run or clinch to pass the time. It looks like Tyson's punches really hurts I think Tyson's is still up for another match. Are you guys wanted to see Mike fight again?

Of course, but not a rematch against Jones Jr., this guy is playing safe and don't want to get hurt, not a real warrior.
Tyson still like to fight after this, maybe we will see an exhibition fight for Tyson vs Evander Holyfield, next, this should be a better fight IMO.
3855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we gonna see a new ATH this year? on: November 29, 2020, 07:35:54 AM
I lost all hopes in altcoins reaching their ATHs even if BTC manages to remain above 20K level. It is not that I am expecting low-quality coins to reach their ATHs but at least some strong projects should. What do you think?

The trend is good when bitcoin is bullish, have you seen the altcoins when bitcoin reached $19k, there was some hype on it and some people believe that bitcoin will surpass it's current ATH, and that made ETH rise to $600, that was a significant move for ETH and you know, when major altcoins have a bullish run, the rest of the altcoins will follow, so let's see if bitcoin will be able to make its new ATH in the 2nd try.
3856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 28, 2020, 11:25:56 PM
Problem with PBA is we don't have a timely update of player's injury status, unlike in NBA where we have a site to monitor the players status.

TROY Rosario has not been a factor so far in the playoffs, but maybe only against the Phoenix but hopefully he can still come back to help the TNT against a physical Ginebra Team. Also, Poy Erram has to step up his game, he also needs to be physical inside to battle with the big man of Ginebra, if he is soft, they'll lose.

I have also noticed that one, they don't update player's injury from time to time and we were just surprised to see them not playing which really affect the game.

Poy Erram have to step up if he want to be known as a legit big man in the PBA, for now "buhok lang malakas sa kanya".  Grin

haha.. that's too harsh mate.

Well, honestly speaking, his rule as a big man does not fit when their opponent's defense is good, just like the Ginebra Kings.
Poy Erram is tall but his body is soft,  but let's give him a chance to prove, we have game 1 today and see if he can prove us wrong.
3857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 28, 2020, 11:15:33 PM
And now they added firepower. Ergh, even the Nets will have a hard time defeating them.

This is true, before Durant is stoppable but if they will ever meet the Lakers in the finals, they don't have to double Durant as Lebron will take care of the business and Lakers also has a lot of good guards that could slow down Kyrie Irving.
3858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 28, 2020, 10:57:32 PM

I love to see you guys participate in betting because I will too, since there's no series betting on gambling sites and the series will start on Sunday, I guess we should make start posting here now.

I'm for Ginebra as well. 0.005 btc. "CALL ME!" lol....

0.005 BTC for you mate, please confirm if is a deal.

It's a deal.

The current betting odds is 1.98 TNT KaTropa vs 1.80 Brgy Ginebra, I think it's a fair series.

https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/basketball/philippines/pba-philippine-cup/tnt-ka-tropa-barangay-ginebra-san-miguel-5fc1096d9e8c9b2425cf489b

Thanks for confirming.

This is an even series and it shows on the betting odds. Hope this would end in game 7 for the pleasure of the PBA fans like us.

Just wonder though on what's the update on that Rosario injury, he was limping back to the bench on game 5, i hope he is okay.

I'm with you @bisdak40, I'm thinking it's gonna be a close series, so I'm with Park and the Blur here.
I hope so, long series means more fun, I only bet for fun in this series, maximum of BTC0.01, not a big amount though.

@Finestream, I will take the other half (BTC0.005), TNT here to win in the Finals.

Please confirm.

Sure, all my BTC0.01 are now locked with @Russlenat (BTC0.005) and @bisdak40(BTC0.005).
I hope that I can also get a lot like that. Bitcoin is really risky but if you trust the team you are going to get then you don't have to worry. You should also know if they are in advantage or disadvantage according to their condition, average gameplay and also the place of the game. You can see their condition if you know that they attended an event that can make them tired, average gameplay by recording all the stats when they are playing and the place depends on who are the referees that will join
Forget about the stats, these are good teams, and it's likely that the series will end in game 7.

If we've seen a good PBA semi Finals, I think we will enjoy more in the Finals.

There's no crowd in the bubble but we can obviously see the support of the Ginebra Die hard Fans who are watching live in their televisions and online streaming.
3860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is live betting better than betting in advance? on: November 28, 2020, 11:57:23 AM
I think so, live betting is fun because you are watching the game so you can find a good opportunity to bet.

Bookies will not be able to adjust the odds easily because they are not watching the game, but us gamblers can see what's going to happen and we can find that as a value so we will bet on it. For example, a superstar in one team is fouled out, the betting odds will not react right away as it's only calculated based on the scores, so that's the advantage I'm talking about.
