3841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: April 13, 2021, 11:58:25 AM
This is about how do you make sure that you are gambling in full control. There are many people who are easily brought into gambling beyond fun and that is a problem for them and also for the gambling industry, because it is for them that there are limitations in many countries.

Do you actually...
- Have a weekly budget to play and do not ever go over it?
- Not ever get in debt for gambling?
- Have an allocated time for gambling and never exceed it?
- Gamble only socially with friends of relatives?
- Have someone helping you control your gambling?
I am not a gambling addict at all because i have set up my limits for that due to past bad experience of loss in gambling. Here is my submission to your questions respectively:

1)I have allocated monthly budget to my gambling exposure and set some bonus funds aside to use them in extreme shortage.I try to play within that limit and I cash the winnings to meet the budget requirements.

2)Not really faced any such situation gracefully that I have to borrow money to place bets because I always play it in a fun way rather than making it my main source of income.

3)I usually play on weekends as it is off for me and 2-3 hours daily limit is there but if the game is intense and long like pokers game exceeds this so it's not a big deal for time increment as I am mostly free these days. But the main point which i keep in mind is that time limit can be crossed not my funds allocated for that particular game.

4)If we have family gathering then I like to play with my cousin's who are also into crypto gambling market and it's quite a fun to interact and play with them because having company of like minded is blessing. If not then I play myself as you must also try to enjoy yourself.
3842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / "Simpsons new prediction" on: April 13, 2021, 04:23:54 AM
Many are familiar with the comical animated show "The Simpsons" which was started in 1989 but the show is making some predictions in their episodes which come out to be true in real life.We have witnessed many instances where Simpsons prediction were accurate and some of them include

Quote
As Bambrough points out: “Over the show’s 30-year run The Simpsons have correctly predicted Donald Trump becoming U.S. president, the NSA spying scandal, Apple’s FaceTime, smartwatches, and the Disney takeover of Fox.”

In one of their episode they called bitcoin as cash of future.According to a London based expert the actual time between prediction and reality is 15.6 years. So we can see mass adoption by 2036.They all are there past predictions which came out to be true but this time they have some positive prediction in favour of bitcoin. In of their episode we can see this image:

They have shown Bitcoin with infinity sign which means the value of Bitcoin will cross all the benchmark in future. If we take into consideration the average time of 15.6 years then this price level could be achieved by 2036 which seems to be realistic somewhere. The prices are above $60k in Q1 of 2021 with many institutions investing and accepting Bitcoin. If the same pace continue then we could see this turning into reality.

What are you thoughts about this new "Simpsons" prediction?
3843  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Elon musk 5000 BTC give away scam ad on: April 12, 2021, 05:04:39 PM
How Youtube allow this shit? I can imagine tons of people fall for this and actually send him Bitcoin.

Send 0.3 BTC and double it and get 0.6 BTC lmao

https://prnt.sc/11955a9

And youtube appove that? are they idiots?

YouTube don't approve any scam videos to be uploaded but the video is removed if there are scam accusations by many users or they find it not appropriate in any context otherwise it is open platform for all.The scammers took undue advantage of such privileges and post fake ads such like this and main the fault is of people who are greedy and easily get in there trap. The hackers just put bait to attract the people and foolish ones get caught. We have seen many instances before also where hackers have tried new ways of scamming people and most interesting part is someone is always the victim before it is discovered.Yes the social media platforms need to revise their security policy like checking the contents of whatever the user is posting although it will require a lot of efforts but AI can help in framing such policies.
3844  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: April 12, 2021, 03:59:02 PM
The first experience on Rollbit, here is mine:

Isn't that a high multiplier? No? let's see in the next week :v
Btw, thanks for the welcome bonus Cheesy
The rollbit casino is quite well performing in the market as they were active before running campaign on this forum but with their active participation on this forum they have gained more users with reviews from community members. They are transparent and have certificate of probably fair. You are lucky to have 53x multiplier also because you have just wagered $0.1 as bet and get $53 in rewards because it's good based on your risk and if you keep on going then you might be lucky one day to gain huge profits like 5000x or something which is quite a rare chance on casinos. You can participate in slot games and get chance to be on daily leaderboard with again exciting prizes to reward.Rewards are based on mostly on risk and your luck similar to the person who wagered only $1 to get $5k in winnings. This is not regular multipliers and if you are lucky you can have one on rollbit as they are providing you with many offers to place bets on their site.
3845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You won today, but then you will lose often on: April 12, 2021, 03:17:03 PM
Hello to all! Another topic about casinos and games. I started playing at THIS CASINO quite often. At the very beginning I thought I would just play in the evening, but one evening turned into a constant game during the day. On the first deposit, I was lucky and I took out a little, it was x3 of my deposit and I was happy. Recently, I just started making stupid deposits and trying to win something and I understand that this is self-deception, but I cannot stop and make more and more deposits. I decided to make the 1st level of VIP, but for this I need to make a turnover of 10k dollars, but I am a player with low stakes and this is difficult for me to do. You seem to understand everything that you will lose, but you go to play again. How to get rid of gambling addiction?

[mod note: removed referral link]
If you think that you have become gambling addict and seriously want to leave it for some time then you can do one thing which is becoming very popular these days. You are not only one facing this problem and solution for such people is to join self exculsion scheme which stop user from placing any bet on the casino until the time period contract expires. You can check out this site Gamstop

This is helping a lot of people in this pandemic who have found gambling as entertainment purpose in starting but eventually they have become addicts and constantly loosing their money. This site bookmark your casino and whenever you enter the casino site and try to place any bet you are stopped from doing so.So you can give it a try if it can help you in any case.
3846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Possibility to pay with Bitcoin, Etherium and Ripple by Canadian lending company on: April 12, 2021, 03:07:57 PM
Isn't Canadian Central Bank issued a banking ban on crypto few years back?? Or is it incorrect information? Can anyone confirm?

If there is a banking ban on cryptos in Canada, I am not sure how this company will accept payments in cryptocurrencies! The borrowers should not land into legal troubles later on! That might create more troubles for cryptos in Canada instead of helping in adoption.

If it finally becomes a reality, then it will be great in terms of mass adoption - another strong push!
I don't think that bank of Canada has put ban on Bitcoin and neither it has gained legal tender status in Canada but still you can trade in Bitcoin thorough different Exchanges like bitbuy.Although the Canadian central bank is in favour of CDBC rather than these cryptocurrencies. This was the statement of Deputy Governer of BoC(Bank of Canada) Timothy Lane:

Quote
The recent spike in their prices looks less like a trend and more like a speculative mania — an atmosphere in which one high-profile tweet is enough to trigger a sudden jump in price,” Lane said.

For further details you can check this link: Timothy Lane official statement on cryptocurrencies

He further says that they don't foresee these cryptos as fear for centeral system at the current period but they have plans for future like CDBC.So at this time you can trade or invest in Bitcoin in Canada that's why this company is accepting crypto payments and it's good for mass adoption for Bitcoin. It is becoming mainstream these days and soon the banking sector will also provide services to customers crypto related as many have started to do so.
3847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on how to place sports bets on: April 11, 2021, 03:28:05 PM
The OP has mentioned some good and valid points which we must consider before placing any bet on the site as this sports betting market is becoming risky with growing popularity.I would like to add some point:
1) You must choose in which crypto you want to trade and whether that particular casino support that currency or not. These days transaction fees have become a major issues for ERC-20 tokens and your winning amount could be sacrificed with fees so choose wisely.
2)Trade you looses in a fun manner and try to learn basic skills with time and turn your mistakes into profits.

Enjoy your game and keep playing.
3848  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to make you free on: April 11, 2021, 02:24:17 PM
I hate that I cannot save money effectively because our government loves to inflate problems away at the expense of my savings... bitcoin and altcoins are our greatest hope in returning power back to working middle-class people.

your thoughts?
Those who have invested early or working with Bitcoin from starting are now millionaires(the one's still holding their coins) with freedom so they are enjoying both the benefits of Bitcoin which is :
1)Freedom from any centeral authority of chian and having complete control of our own funds
2)Profit gain with 50-60k% returns which is huge number

So we can't say Bitcoin is only used as decentralised currency because many are using it as investment tool as well. The twin winklevoss brothers were first Bitcoin billionaire as they invested in bitcoin from the compensation ($65 million) they got from facebook. So it's all about how you use Bitcoin as it has gained different meanings over 12 years of period. You can google the list for Bitcoin billionaire and you will find many names in Forbes list also.

Although Sathoshi has created Bitcoin with aim of first fully decentralised currency that runs on trust system or concesus mechanism of POW but he is also holding 1 million Bitcoin not only with the aim of freedom? He is among Forbes list of Richest person on planet and that because of bitcoin only.So it is how you use it.
3849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments ban Bitcoin like they did with Gold? on: April 11, 2021, 02:11:20 PM
Many people have been talking about a full government ban towards Bitcoin. Some said that Bitcoin could be banned the same way Gold was banned a couple of years ago. This is to prevent people from using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on top of Fiat. After all, governments want to control people's money. Something that's decentralized and outside the reach of the government, should be banned from the face of the Earth (according to governments' mindset).

What do you think? Will governments (especially the US government) ban Bitcoin like they did with Gold? Or is it too late to do something about it? Will Bitcoin survive if all governments unanimously agree to ban its usage worldwide? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley
It's too late for government to take that step of banning Bitcoin because now it has become a major financial assest globally which is opted by major institutions and investors preference have shifted towards it.They will never go against the general market as it could affect their political status and moreover the government's are also benefitting from btc as US govt. holds more than 80000 Bitcoin at this time seized from Silk road crime. And if you look at statement of former SEC chairmain Hester Pierce or so called "crypto mom" has said US will not take foolish step of banning Bitcoin and it is like shutting down the internet completely and it's not possible to do such things as it can have great impact on economy of the country and same goes for all the centeral authorities around the globe. So we need not to worry about it as we have came across lot of tough times but now Bitcoin is name that needs no introduction and will be accepted by all soon.
3850  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not hide your hard feelings about trading; share the experiences on: April 10, 2021, 01:31:41 PM
Most newbies in the crypto currency space who are just learning trading are most times only fed with the profit side of crypto; once such newbie experience loss on trades; they get disappointed. The best thing while teaching newbies about trading is to educate them about the profits and loss side; so that when they are in profit they are grateful; when they are in loss; they know they will make the funds back.

What suggestions do you have ? how do you guide your newbie traders under your tutorship? do explain below lets learn.
Failure doesn't mean that you should stop working or trading but you should learn from you mistakes and turn them into your experience to gain profits in the long run.We all fail once in our lifetime and we should not be sad about that and if we talk about crypto trading then it's too risky and volatile market that most of traders loose in bearish market or in crash situations. But some of them control themselves mentally while others get panic and leave the market with loss.Try reading these books if you want to learn from failures:

1) Adapt: Why Success Always Starts with Failure — By Tim Harford

2)Failing Forward: Turning Mistakes into Stepping Stones for Success by John C. Maxwell

Always try to learn from your mistakes and don't be afraid of failures as it all depends upon your perspective and for me word fail means

F- "First"
A- "Attempt"
I- "In"
L- "Learning"

Most of the famous names you see today have started from scratch and then become experienced traders in their life.
3851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Two months since Tesla BTC purchase. Corporate buying less than expected? on: April 10, 2021, 01:14:09 PM

The less number of corporates enter into this game, the better for commoners like us! It is already extremely difficult for a common person to enter into crypto market without buying from an exchange. If more and more corporates enter into this game, whatever chance we common people have now, will be lost. Then corporates will have the power to manipulate the market at their own will.

So if the corporate adoption is happening at a lower pace, it's a good news and should remain as it is!
Yes why are we worrying about any big institutional investor to invest huge funds into Bitcoin market just to push price higher? We are not seeing the other side that if more institutions invest in Bitcoin they would be holding a some large portion of supply and wealth would be concentrated again in few hands. The retail investors also need to have significant effect over the market to make some balance. The price surge is positive sign but with this it is becoming extensively difficult for small players to invest in Bitcoin. The price of one BItcoin is above $61k which is not bothering big institutions with billion of funds but will affect the common man with not much deep pockets. So this gap of time can give opportunity to retail investors to buy at this prices before any other major company announce it's support to btc pushing prices further high.
3852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will crypto sportsbook replace fiat sportsbook in the future? on: April 09, 2021, 11:26:46 AM
I'm seeing the improvement on the crypto gambling space especially in sports betting, so I was thinking, since crypto sports betting is easier than fiat betting, then probably people might transfer here and tht would help the increase of adoption.

some of the benefits when using crypto sportsbook.

1. No KYC
2. Anonymous gambling.
3. Instant deposit and withdrawals.
4. ETC....

What do you think about its chances.
1)See I understand your point but the main fact is that it's not at all easy to replace fiat sportsbook with crypto sports book because it is like replacing fiat with cryptocurrencies completely which is difficult at this time.
2)The gamblers need to have proper knowledge of cryptos because there are lot of scams in this market.
3)The one who prefer stability of winnings will always bet with fiat instead of crypto coins due to volatility factor
4)Above them most casino prefer to have KYC these days for withdraw on exchanges but some prefer to have anonymity of customers with them.
5)The fees are high which further reduces the profits.
6) Crypto is not regulated in most countries which further poses a threat to gamblers of crypto betting.

So there are many factors which are acting as hinderance to crypto growth but who knows what happens next.In past few years have we ever imagined that Bitcoin will be becoming mainstream and accepted by major companies and regulated by government? But it is becoming reality so who knows the future.
3853  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinbase VS Binance Valuation - is Binance way undervalued? on: April 09, 2021, 11:11:43 AM
So Coinbase  valuation is $68 billion ahead of landmark U.S. listing, Binance is a lot bigger and has a lot more to offer like the binance blockchain, i think we going see a rocket on Binance coin this month https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/

Binance coin semes way undervalued to me right now, keep and eye on Binance coin Wink
The Coinbase valuation for done in respect to their upcoming ICO on 14 April and their trading volume have increased over the past few years. But if you comparing a coin with company then it's wrong basis of comparison.BNB is not at all undervalued if you have monitored the price growth chart regularly. The prices went from $40-$50 to ATH of $431(current price on CMC) with span of 3-4 months and now it has market cap of $66 billion. It is trading at number 3 on CoinMarketCap just behind btc and ETH and you are saying it is undervalued?Just do you research before posting any thing completely.
3854  Economy / Speculation / Re: Someone just bought 12000 Bitcoin on coinbase wonder why? on: April 09, 2021, 11:01:38 AM
Someone just bought 12000 Bitcoin on coinbase https://cryptoquant.com/overview/full/413?window=hour
This is just a shake out of weak hands, don't get folled here Wink
This is not new as we have seen in the past that people who have funds and prefer to invest in Bitcoin have already spent billion in Bitcoin investment. As said above by one of member that this bulk order was not individually placed so it is clear that it's combined output for all individuals on coinbase.Even if it was it would be simple news these days.Tesla invested $1.5 billion and bought 48000 Bitcoins in their custody. So it is just a little amount for billionaires to invest some portion in bitcoin as they are always ready to invest in high yielding assets. So don't be jealous of other investments but be part of Bitcoin with any amount you can afford to invest.
3855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most entertaining Twitch gambling streamer? on: April 08, 2021, 05:59:51 PM
Most of the casino streamers are like actors, playing with sponsored money and playing fake emotions, not interested in that.

I like some poker content, for example from spraggy. Some down to earth guy compared to some other fellas like Lex Veldhuis.
Yes you are right as these days most of the live streamers are sponsored by casinos for fake gambling and provide them with deposit bonus from which they keep playing and advertise different apps or products in their video to earn money. It's really hard to find some legit live streams that provides you with true experience of gambling and reactions and if you find somebody with these qualities then feel happy for such instances. Some find themselves professional and are truly give you fun ride but many are just streaming for money purpose and gain fake subscribers.
3856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple smashes your expectations on: April 08, 2021, 02:12:45 PM
Ripple has meet the expectations of many investors. Congratulations to XRP investors. We are still expecting a $10 breakout before the end of the second quarter of the year. More predictions are still arising and many has started acquring more coin.

With the current rise above $1 we should be expecting more spike because the breakout will cause massive buy position by traders and investors. What's your analysis. Would XRP still make series of higher highs and higher lows. Or should we be expecting a range market at the moment?

Although the XRP has seen some insane surge in prices in past few days and now trading at $1 which is good sign for it's growth but your expectations are way too high for $10 and that also in Q2 of 2021 as Q1 is about to end already so this is unrealistic approach. At current growth XRP needs 253% growth to reach its ATH of $3.40 so imagine what level of investment would it take to recah prices to $10.So let move the market in its own way and if you hold your coins be patient because in bullish trend when Bitcoin prices surges most altcoins follow the rally so it would push ripple also higher.
3857  Economy / Gambling / Re: Using multiple betting accounts (Bet365 etc.) on: April 08, 2021, 01:56:37 PM
Hello,

does anyone here have any experience with using multiple betting accounts without documents from friends? I have some questions and would be happy if someone could help me with that. Ive been limited on some betting accounts and would like to create more (obviously cant with my own documents anymore and dont want to ask friends for documents).

If you prefer to talk via Telegram: @RoleModz

Greetings
It's not at all easy to maintain and make multiple accounts on any gambling sites due to the restrictions made by the casinos.Even if you managed to make multiple accounts you need to follow some steps

1) Open each account with different Bank account as you cannot withdraw funds from two account in same bank details. So you need to have multiple bank accounts for each account you made on casino.Even if you share bank details of your family members and relatives you might have to share profits with them.

2)Use different IP address for each account as casino tracks all the bets and if it matched between two different account on same site you both account will be blocked without letting you to withdraw funds in them as it's their policy.

3)Use different betting behaviour because if you are placing indentical bets each time from each account you provide casino owners a suspicious activity which again poses a threat.

So it's better to stick with one account and make multiple bets from them and win huge amounts with your skills as many have managed to win so.
3858  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next big news? on: April 08, 2021, 01:41:59 PM
Btc is hovering between $56k to $58k, it needs some more good news to cross this $60 mark.
After PayPal, which next business giant is going to endorse Bitcoin?
What should we expect in coming days that can push btc to more adoption and expedite it's March towards $1 million?
We don't have any Internal information or insider trading of any company which can announce Bitcoin support in near future. Many big companies like Tesla,Paypal, Microsoft accepting Bitcoin payments we can accept other giants following their path to compete in the market. Some of the companies that can have affect on btc prices are Amazon,Google,Apple and they have huge funds with them that they can easily push the prices above $100k combined if they made investment in Bitcoin. Many fast food, liquor brands, E-commerce giants are endorsing Bitcoin with growing popularity so we could accept them next in the chain. But at this time we can't say what will happen next.So it's better to stay relaxed and enjoy the profits in the long run.
3859  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cryptocurrency Casino Sites? on: April 07, 2021, 03:16:53 PM
What are some good legitimate casino sites. Where one can gamble with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency?

Sites that have some type of creditability. That are some what safe to use.

What suggestions do you all have?

More less looking at the North American market.

Either random slots and sports betting I would be most interested in?

Look to all your kind replies.

Thank you all.
You can have a look at various casinos mentioned by the forum members on the gambling board where you can find list of legit and fake casinos running in the market with long discussion or you can check the reviews for them online. Some of the legit casino working out in the market are

1) Roobet
2)Stake
3)Sportsbet.io
4)Rollbit
5)Duelbits

All of them have campaigns running on this forum and most trusted casinos in operation from past few years and are probably fair with security of gamblers. So you can have a look at all of them and many others and then decide which one to choose according to your priorities as they offer wide range of games in the market.
3860  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anybody here sell their Gold to buy Bitcoin? on: April 07, 2021, 01:22:50 PM
Hello Gang,
Long time investor/holder of Gold coins, new investor of Bitcoin.
I've been thinking about selling some Gold to buy Bitcoin.
I'm listening to the pros/cons of doing this and Bitcoin seems like the better asset to hold in the long run.

So..
Anyone else here convert their Gold to Bitcoin?
Kinda having a hard time parting ways with my coins.
There's something to be said about touching Gold coins.
They're heavier than you think..
They have a nice ringing tone to them when tapped.
Fun to look at.. older ones have a history to tell.

Maybe I'm alone in this feeling.. 14+ years of collecting coins is hard to let go, but ultimately I got into it to have an insurance in case
of economic collapse and security.. also to make a profit.
Seems like Gold may be taken out by Bitcoin in a few short years.

Thoughts?

If you are saying that Bitcoin adoption is increasing fast compared to gold then you are right because In past 1-2 years the gold investment has become low and gold prices have fallen from $56-$57k to $54k Because of the funds moving out of the gold market. The Bitcoin investment on the other side is increasing which In turn is increasing the prices to higher levels with market cap crossing $1 trillion in just period of 12 years.Bitcoin has surpassed gold in respect to prices but in market it's still far behind.

1)Bitcoin Price - $58k
Gold prices - $55k

Bitcoin Price > Gold Prices(They have achieved this mark with respect to price if gold)

2) Bitcoin Market cap - $1 trillion
Gold Market cap - $10 trillion

Gold Market Cap > Bitcoin Market cap

So we can say people are moving towards Bitcoin investments at huge scale and gold is becoming somewhat secondary option for investors who prefer to have some tangible and risk free investment for a longer period of time. But one thing is for sure that Bitcoin will surpass every financial assest in short or long span of time in every aspect so you must hold a btc in your portfolio without any doubt.
