3861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know that they managed Bitcoin? on: June 22, 2018, 02:37:42 PM
Sensible. There are people who take control even if Bitcoin is not a center. This can cause monopolization.

Obviously I don't think there will be monopoly in this market as time goes by. The growth is tremendous lately coins have begun to take charge and this will be seen more when the market recovers again.
3862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What motivates you to invest in an ICO? on: June 22, 2018, 01:00:58 PM
For me I like gradual growth in profit and that is why I would invest in an ico coin that is good. Also, because the price will be cheaper compared to others that are listed and doing good in the market. My third angle is that, it has the prospect of hitting it big in the market as a newcomer.
3863  Other / Meta / Re: No to Merit for sale on: June 22, 2018, 11:19:56 AM
This has happened since the new merit system was built, I've seen this on multiple treads but no one has taken seriously and I've said that this is one of the moderator's responsibilities, But still no one responded to what I said.

You can't conclude that the moderators are not doing anything about it. Off course some of the defaulters are tagged when caught which evidence is not easily proved.

Generally, I think the moderators have lesser work to do now about checking on merit cheaters because most members don't even have smerit to appreciate a post. I think the merit thing has really died down and most people have taken their present ranks as their fate  Roll Eyes
3864  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What will be the best cryptocurrency in 2018-2019 on: June 22, 2018, 10:36:14 AM
I don't understand the reason that ripples is on the list. Ripples is a classic example of centralized coin, manipulated easily and so can't get anywhere in my view.
3865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: but what if the forum makes its ICO on: June 21, 2018, 04:37:15 PM
5. All dreams - I understand perfectly well that I just let a little bit of fantasy, but who knows, nobody even imagined 5 years ago that everywhere they will talk about bitcoins and other crypto-currencies, but I think that everyone can ponder and fantasize about this.

Anyway, your thoughts, dream and fantasy are not totally bad but my concern is the proceeds. Is the mechanism for control of the coin and proceed I mean. Is just like having a national coin but that can be rightly controlled because the government already have a mechanism for that that is perpetuated by continuity via elections / physical presence  and etc.
3866  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Market manipulation on: June 21, 2018, 03:57:06 PM
Large capital always works under the cover of corrupt officials at the highest level. They can do anything. Any penalties for them are like a mosquito bite. Painful for but not critical. They can always earn a billion and pay a fine of 65 million so that the government can report to the people about the fight against fraud. It's cheap.

That is why they will hide under the legal framework to delay the little justice because they have much money to wet the palms of who ever will let them off the hook, down to the witnesses.

Is a pity case the difference between the wealthy and the poor. They manipulate the stock market, collide with the government officials to embezzle genuine investors money and won't go to jail.
3867  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coin rates not everything on: June 21, 2018, 02:24:35 PM
Rates is important in trading and this is my believe. Most times a coin that is higher in rating have always been on the green because most investors would trade it and it keeps growing. Although, it might also withness some sleep off.
3868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to convert the coins collected from the bounty, to eth? on: June 21, 2018, 01:39:39 PM
You don't even need to ask the team about the exchange where it is listed if the coin has been named in coinmarketcap (CMC). If you go to cmc, searching with the token name, you will see the coin and you click on market and you see all the exchanges that the coin has been listed.

But, I think the real question that OP is asking has not been answered. He wants to know how to transfer the token got from bounty to the exchange where the coin is listed.
3869  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [SURVEY] Why do people invest in ICOs? What are decision criteria? on: June 21, 2018, 10:09:14 AM
Basically, the coinage called investment connotes to make an increase from original worth or value. So, people invest so that they can have increase.

Therefore, in the case of ico, they invest in such with the expectations of enriching themselves bountifully because it is cheaper to buy an ico coin than to buy a coin that has already started making increase. This is just the positive side of it.
3870  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cryptocurrency is Great, But How Many Persons Know That? on: June 20, 2018, 09:11:10 PM
We can't really estimate the number of people who are on the platform of cryptocurrency but quite a number of people are getting to know it with the access from the social media especially the Google.
3871  Economy / Economics / Re: Buy or Sell, What The Hell?! Ex-JP Morgan traders talk Bitcoin future price on: June 20, 2018, 06:55:04 PM
Even after 2016; early 2017 , we only knew bitcoin and etheruem before the tremendous run from litecoin show the way to altcoin. The market has greatly improved and from current adoption stories and news coming around, more market space is going to open for cryptocurrency. Hodlers of promising coins would smile in near future.

Did anybody know bitcoin was going to hit an ATH of $20,000 in December? Grin
3872  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Jumps as Square Case gets a BitLicense from New York State on: June 20, 2018, 02:52:28 PM
I just checked on cmc to see the current price of bitcoin after seeing the title of this thread but it is still in $6708. I mean this price jump title is miss leading except OP means in the future, then an editing of the title will be fine.

Meanwhile, the news of the app trader is good for the market and it will help crypto price not only btc because is not only btc is traded. It is paired in cryptocurrencies.
3873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project without team members on: June 19, 2018, 09:50:20 PM
Well... Naturally, when you see such "teamless" coin, you tend to runaway including myself. If I see such I won't want to invest on it but as we also know, I don't really know the team behind bitcoin nor its telegram group but the coin is the greatest for now.
3874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future developers: Cryptocurrency or Blockchain Technology? on: June 19, 2018, 08:38:16 AM
The blockchain is the mother of Crypto - Crypto can't go without the Blockchain

This is exactly what this is. I do not believe cryptocurrency would go away because it does not exist on its own. It is founded on a technology and that technology is even further modified, used recently by different countries in different forms, plus banks are adopting it.
3875  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do we complain when the market is down? on: June 18, 2018, 09:43:25 AM

the way we are handling this drop in bitcoin will scare new members from even investing in the coin which will cause a further decrease in the price and the unexpected might happen.

I do not concur with this line of thought. FUDs have been on since the inception of bitcoin and it has not prevented willing investors. And, no unexpected that will happen because blockchain is the new technology with anonymous transactions and people like it.
3876  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do we complain when the market is down? on: June 18, 2018, 09:36:55 AM
The people who complain are the get money quick syndrome investors. Those people who put in money and want 100% profit the next 24hours. The earlier they understand the market pattern, the better for their hearts.  Grin
3877  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: “Asset with Measurable Value”: South Korea Supreme Court Recognizes Crypto on: June 18, 2018, 07:03:10 AM
This contradicts the idea of the emergence of cryptocurrencies and ICO. I am not against the existence of certain rules in the market, but if the government regulates the turnover then I do not need such a currency. We do not know but perhaps the current decline in demand and prices due to the fact that people do not believe in the freedom that bitcoin promised.

That then makes it difficult. What then is a solution or way forward? Do we now allow innocent people to keep losing their money?

Regulation that is talked about is not total or in all spheres of cryptocurrency but maybe modalities on how icos are going to run or what exchanges are to do to better secure investments in their custody.

You and I know that fraud is bedevilling the system.
3878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin and the ICO on: June 17, 2018, 09:41:48 PM
Hey... I don't understand what OP is saying here, about ico pulling bitcoin down? I mean how?

It won't in anyway affect it but rather help it grow more because it is used as means of payment for the coins.
3879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: False fear about BITCOIN. on: June 17, 2018, 05:41:25 PM
At least since I have been visiting this forum, I have read about this kind of news and till now, they will still be around. Afterall, some people don't like fiat money for certain reasons whether because of it monopoly or something else, so they will also be spreading FUD about fiat which is same with what is happening to cryptos.

Meanwhile, do you believe that more people, media or social networks are beginning to talk about bitcoin more often than in the past. This is to tell us that bitcoin is running alongside the growth of the society. No need for fear. Invest and secure your future and that of your incoming generation.
3880  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Blockchain social platform. on: June 17, 2018, 03:54:31 PM

Also I don't agree to the idea of having a social media platforms like facebook where people will be uploading their own picture or create a complete bio, because the basic idea of blockchain is based on the decentralization and anonymity. Having facebook like social platform will be against that idea of blockchain.

This is the point I was hoping for while reading your post as a highly ranked member and truly, you did justice to this area.

Personally, I think there is no need for a social platform solely for blockchain. Blockchain is a technology on its own and it uses should speak for it and this we are already witnessing.
