3861  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Fake Twitter is being abused a lot with fake giveaways. on: January 10, 2021, 06:42:07 PM
I think scam attempt by Twitter is now very old methods and most of us know it. As you see their address is empty, which means they are failed to raise funds. When someone will click on that Twitter account then they would realize it's a fake account. But still, I am worried about greedy newbies, they aren't familiar with that kind of trap. The problem is there are fake replies as well by scammers. And most likely newbies would believe in them and that's how a few newbies losing their funds.

Anyway thanks for the warning, hope at least our forum users would avoid that scam attempt.
3862  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: etherflyer does not send my money on: January 10, 2021, 06:34:33 PM
Can you please write in more detail in the correct format? It's hard to understand what does happened there. If I am not wrong Etherflyer is a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange. They don't hold any assets themselves. So how they are not giving your withdrawal? I am not using any DEX, it would be a stupid question. But let's see the Definition,
Quote
Decentralized exchanges (DEX) are a type of cryptocurrency exchange that allows for direct peer-to-peer cryptocurrency transactions to take place online securely and without the need for an intermediary

There is no legal organization you can make a complaint except the police. It would be easier to answer you if share more info with the domain name. Who knows if you are using the correct website or phishing site.
3863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin regret story, Need advise! on: January 10, 2021, 04:34:24 PM
I must say this was a hard lesson for you. That's the common problem for newbies, we become panic if dump bitcoin price for a certain time. My story something similar to you, I hadn't sold Bitcoin for real cash, but I was bought some shit coins. I do not regret it, I still believe some days that would be recovered as well same like Bitcoin. Currently, it's hard to suggest what you should do. We don't know the reality either bitcoin will pump or it will dump. Right now my suggestion is to wait for a dump, if happen it then you are lucky and you may accumulate some.
3864  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: btc - need help on: January 09, 2021, 03:55:14 PM
Why would they flag me if I open a bunch of accounts with different IPs using a VPN? How would they know I'm using a VPN?
Using a VPN doesn't mean you are safe and your IP address isn't traceable. Read this article, Can you be tracked with a VPN?. There is not much VPN provider. So most likely, they have a list or some other way to detect VPN providers. Here is an important part.

Quote
The IP addresses of VPN servers aren't difficult to recognize — there are even databases that try to determine whether an IP belongs to a particular provider. When you access a website with a VPN on, it may be able to identify that you're using a VPN using your IP. However, this doesn't mean the website will know the identity of the person behind the IP address — just that they are using a VPN.
It seems although they wouldn't detect who are you but still they are able to know the traffic came from where. In this way, you just risking yourself I think. Binance has withdrawal limits without KYC, you can withdraw 2 BTC per day without verification. So at least you may do it once a day. Or you may look for some trusted person who will exchange for you on behalf of you who have verified account. As far as I know, withdrawal limits for the verified user are 100 BTC.
3865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETN pump incoming.. #CryptoOnTV..your welcome on: January 09, 2021, 01:03:02 PM
"Spamming"
You have an interesting definition of spam I must say, but that's your right
That "very old thread" is a link to what is confirmed. It's the OP of the ETN [ANN] thread. I put it there because the Omnipotent post above said there was a Superbowl Ad, and there is not an actual announcement for that.
Glad we could clear all that up 😆
Does it really necessary to post a whole announcement thread here? Can't you make a post with the thread link? This is one kind of spam I think. Or you may quote some important part of the post if necessary.

The definition of spam?
Quote
spam
/spam/
See definitions in:
1.
irrelevant or unsolicited messages sent over the internet, typically to a large number of users, for the purposes of advertising, phishing, spreading malware, etc.

I think your post belongs to an irrelevant and advertising category which should consider spam. It will discourage other users to read your post, to be honest.
3866  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC to USDT exchange service on: January 09, 2021, 12:42:30 PM
I will suggest using the forum currency exchange section to stay sage from all sites. On the exchange, even where doesn't require your KYC, but they would trace your IP unless you brows in Tor browser. I am not sure if exchanges allow you to log in via Tor. Using the forum to currency exchange BTC to USDT you are fully anonymous same as now. Of course, you have to choose a trusted seller or use a trusted escrow service from the forum.

If you failed to find the appropriate amount or seller, then you may use Binance as suggested by most of the users here. If you wonder to use the centralized exchange, they must need to choose a top and well-reputed exchange. I had been used it without KYC verification with a 2BTC limit.
3867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETN pump incoming.. #CryptoOnTV..your welcome on: January 09, 2021, 07:31:24 AM
No doubts ETN is a potential cryptocurrency. But I think this thread has been created intentionally to create a FOMO ("Fear of Missing Out"). And seems community manager "contraband" spamming with very old thread's quote. It will damage the reputation of ETN instead of pump it. I know some days ETN would pump hard since their team working hard. I can't imagine we can pay even utility bills through cryptocurrency and we would top-up our mobile sim within a second. ETN was one of the successful ICO that have been trying to improve and add more services. Please avoid spamming and spreading FOMO.
3868  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The true face of BLOCKCHAIN.COM (500.000$) on: January 09, 2021, 05:45:40 AM
Fucking blockchain so far. It's ridiculous their second requirement about documents. What does mean asking about how I am advertising my business? Is it really their business? I am wondering how you dare to deposit 19 BTC on a blockchain wallet. Is there any staking system? Otherwise how and where you invest? I am not using that shit for a long time.

Don't trust any web wallet with that kind of huge funds. 19BTC isn't a small amount at all. They might ask may documentations and harass you. The support team is irresponsible there, not friendly to solve the issue. It seems there are many accusations against blockchain wallet. You are holding 19 BTC means you are capable to buy multiple hardware wallets or even a cold wallet. Be your own bank doesn't mean keeping your funds in Blockchain.

Just try to keep connect with the support team, only they could help you. If your fund in the wallet, then you may import your seed on other wallet software. Blockchain BIP39 seed would be import into Electrum. It would work only if the fund holding into a wallet address, not into an investment wallet.
3869  Economy / Reputation / Re: I asked for the deletion of all topics and all posts previously on: January 08, 2021, 05:40:43 PM
Because when I came here I was starving badly and asked the people on this forum to lend me 25€ in crypto to load my card ( minimum )

I did go 8 days without eating while looking and hoping every day someone would finally help
Will anyone believe you alive 8 days without eating? And forum users will lend you to feed you? Isn't something unrealistic? Aren't living you in a society? Do not have your friends family? Are you alone? Even €20 you can't borrow in your real life? At least I am not gonna believe it and most likely that's the reason why you have got a few negative feedback due to laying. On the forum, we don't know each other here, we are anonymous. So, suddenly asking for a loan is quite suspicious to most users here. I don't think this is the real reason to leave this forum. The forum had been created to discuss cryptocurrency, not for lending purposes.
3870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fraud on: January 08, 2021, 04:41:03 PM
I am guessing OP moved his funds from Binance to a Ponzi scheme. Website generating the same address as your previous account means it's a direct scam. Can we ask why are you hiding the website name where you had sent the funds from the Binance Exchange? Either Binance is registered in your country or not, they can't do anything when transactions are broadcasted on the bitcoin blockchain. During withdrawal, they must ask you multiple times like 2FA and email verification. Bitcoin can't be reversed, so your funds are gone forever. Just don't fall into any greedy offer on the web or real life, think twist before click the send button.
3871  Economy / Reputation / Re: I asked for the deletion of all topics and all posts previously on: January 08, 2021, 12:51:17 PM
You don't need to ask moderators for that. You can delete your posts yourself. Topics aren't delectable totally, so you need to edit them by removing your contents and move them on the Archival board. So no one will see your post since there is no content from you. If you want your username shouldn't appearing here then you should ask an admin. He can archive your username. By the way, I am wondering what's that force you to leave this forum?
3872  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain help on: January 08, 2021, 08:08:19 AM
I don't think you should worry. I think you already notice about lock period of your funds. Since you already bought bitcoin on the Blockchain, now only you have to wait, support will not help you before reach the appropriate lock time. By the way, blockchain is the worst wallet if it comes to support. Just better to avoid buying Bitcoin from the blockchain and choose a reputed exchange.

I will encourage you to use a hardware wallet to store your funds, don't use blockchain or other noncustodial wallets to store your bitcoin where the seed or private key isn't under the control of you. If you can't afford a hardware wallet then just go with Electrum wallet.
3873  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: red trust on: January 07, 2021, 06:37:25 PM
I am pretty sure your alt account has been tagged. It's quite complicated to remove your negative feedback, but yes, it's removable functionally. Now you have two options in case you have got a tag. Firstly you would write to the person who has left feedback and try to convince him with an explanation. If it doesn't work then you may create an apology thread on the reputation section why you believe your negative tag is inappropriate. If the community thinks feedback is really inappropriate they might counter the feedback.
3874  Economy / Reputation / Re: Who controls Bestchange's account? on: January 07, 2021, 05:59:11 PM
Why its concern about green trust, many managers have multiple green trusts, does it really matter? Who knows if this account only for support forum users and manage their campaign? There aren't any restrictions that any companies wouldn't be DT members or they wouldn't get green trust. What I have remembered, they hadn't hired a manager out of their team, it's because they want to introduce their platform by themselves instead of hiring a manager. So, I believe the current manager belongs to the BestChange team, but his/her responsibility would be limited to the forum management only.
3875  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by Mercatox.com -11.63 ETH on: January 07, 2021, 03:24:15 PM
Were you active on the scam accusation board? I am not sure if you have uses the search button of the forum. I have found a couple of issues against Mercatox exchange, look at this thread who had an issue same as you and it was ETH as well, MERCATOX POTENTIAL SCAM. Seems they eventually solved the issue and the user got his/her fund back. So you should contact them from the various official social platform. We can't do anything against them since the fund already on their hand, we may ask them via PM if they have an official account on the forum.
3876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For old users: check you abandoned wallets/exchange/other service accounts on: January 07, 2021, 12:46:01 PM
Surprising how both of us our minds become the same regarding this matter? Honestly, I am just wondering to take look at all of my accounts including wallets exchanges and so on. But I was lazy to open my notebook where I have written all the details about accounts. Not sure if I would find a few funds, but definitely I will search for them.

But thanks for remind it, hope other users would encourage to recheck their wallets and exchange.
3877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [Be Aware]: Fake Ethereum and USDT Mixers on: January 06, 2021, 05:22:35 PM
There are many fake mixers when you will use the search. The mixer should use if you don't know either it's reputed or not. The Crypto market is on uptrend now, Ethereum one of those that are bumping nowadays. So attacker targeting now ETH users. We can just create awareness to warn the people, but they have to save themselves.

Anyway, thanks for the warning, hope at least forum users would avoid it now.
3878  Other / Meta / Re: Question regarding plagiarism on: January 06, 2021, 05:10:45 PM
A reply from a staff is enough that your post isn't plagiarism. You have worked on a project and wrote about them from their website. It's clear that you hadn't indicated that's your content and you already added to the source link. Added source link itself enough to avoid plagiarism case, but there you did a job from them as well.

Anyway, since you got an answer from moderators, hope you are satisfied now. So it's better to lock this thread from the lower left.
3879  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bounty management failure on: January 06, 2021, 05:00:23 PM
What you could expect from a newbie manager? A company recruits a manager to manage their campaign properly. So I am wondering why they hire a non-reputed campaign manager who is unable to do proper management? Isn't also responsible for the team who have hired? Cheating on the bounty campaign isn't new here. We can't prevent them, but we can detect them and inform the manager. But really this isn't a paid service, users are doing it to build a decent forum. Also, the forum can't help regarding this as well. So, I think it's better to write to the team about proper management. They could create a valid accusation against the manager since the manager failed to manage properly.
