3861  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is planting trees actually good for the planet? on: January 20, 2020, 11:17:38 AM
Trees have any side effect? I guess there are none but there advantages are many. Shade, breading place for birds, provides fresh air and absorb carbon along with other toxic gases. Everyone of us should make a resolve to plant as much tress as he/she can.
3862  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: handling bitcoin volatility on: January 19, 2020, 12:47:39 PM
You can't do much if you see volatility like the one we have today. Almost 500$ decline in price and that too within 2 to 3 hours.

3863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright provided the list of addresses that contains 1.1 million btc on: January 19, 2020, 12:24:27 PM
Here is latest on that 1.1 million btc
Quote
"Wright responded in the affirmative, claiming that a “bonded courier” who possesses the keys to unlock the encrypted Bitcoin would arrive this month. Until the appearance of said courier, Wright said that the alleged “Tulip Trust” containing the Bitcoin would remain inaccessible."
3864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we now confirm that he's Faketoshi.? on: January 19, 2020, 12:04:34 PM
Why now? From the very first day we know he is faketoshi. There are many ways he can prove himself as satoshi but he didnt. There are many news circulating about this faketoshi but I dont have interest in any single because I know he is faketoshi not satoshi.
3865  Economy / Economics / Re: Thoughts on the World War 3 and its possible impacts on future? on: January 19, 2020, 07:04:49 AM
Soon or later there will be a big war no doubt about it. The power will be shifted. But that won't between Iran and USA only, that can be the World War 3 and that time all the fiat money will be avoided, the digital currency will be the only way to use in larger scale!
Despite seeing the massive destruction from wwI and II, big powers are still not settling for peace rather they are planning for ww3. If ww3 happens neither fiat nor digital currency will survive since there will be rear chances of life after ww3
3866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alternatives Like BTC Becomes Necessary As World Debt Reaches $253 Trillion on: January 19, 2020, 06:15:52 AM
No matter which financial model we use global debt will continue to exist even if we shift to bitcoins this global debt will be shifted to bitcoin also. IMHO bitcoin cant be used as alternative to fiat, as long as we have central government's.
3867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrities using Bitcoin today? on: January 18, 2020, 04:56:41 PM
Celebrities are humans just like us and they are affected in the same way like us. Bitcoin is getting adoption and more and more people are buying it. same way celebrities are jumping into crypto market to have there share from this emerging technology, its really that simple.
3868  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will Reach $400,000 After Halving, History Dictates on: January 18, 2020, 12:59:05 PM
In my view its not recommended to buy bitcoin above 10,000$ because chances are that you may struck for indefinite period of time, as evident from bitcoin price history. There are just few real world uses of bitcoin and there is no way such limited usage bitcoin will go up-to 400,000$.
3869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Truth That Will Eventually Kill Bitcoin on: January 18, 2020, 07:17:45 AM
Bitcoin has been killed so many times by so many people but it’s still standing firm against all odds. I don’t say bitcoin has no odds but I also admit and say it’s the future way of transferring value from one person to another. Governments and other centralized financial institutes fear bitcoin and there is some reason for this fear.

You'll have a good time reading this Bitcoin Obituaries, in fact it stated in the site that Bitcoin died 379 times already. Government have their fears in this, because they're never gonna know what's going on behind the scenes of cryptos due to anonymity. You can never blame or hate those countries that banned them although I was just thinking of that they should at least just require KYC, though I hate KYC policy.

Governments will never accept decentralized cryptocurrency else they would lose there financial control. KYC policy or centralized cryptocurrency like xrp are government encounter to bitcoins. True crypto lover dont like kyc nor centralized cryptocurrency.
3870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early halvening on: January 18, 2020, 06:36:17 AM
I voted for <5% but my opinion is that there are zero chances of early halving.
It's interesting debate, as per my knowledge bitcoin complexity is set so that its directly proportional to computational power available. If we have ASIC miners that can solve problem much quicker then bitcoin problem complexity will also adjust itself accordingly.
I m here to read what others say about this.
3871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is There a Way for Craig to Prove that He is Not Faketoshi ? on: January 18, 2020, 05:25:35 AM
If he satoshi then he should first tell why he was silent for so many years? I m sure he doesn't even have knowledge about bitcoin whitepaper. There are many ways he can prove himself as satoshi as already mentioned earlier in this thread. Let's just stop discussing this guy.
3872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to protect your crypto against a natural disaster? on: January 17, 2020, 05:56:11 PM
The best way in my opinion is to write a seed on paper and store it in different physical locations without first and last word. First and last word you memorize your self. In case you want to recover your wallet, write first and last word to get the complete seed. There are many such free methods which everyone can device himself.
3873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO better than ICO? on: January 17, 2020, 04:38:45 PM
IEOs are better than ICO in sense that if you invest in IEO of a reputable platform then chances of scam are almost zero. In terms of ROI they are not very different then ICOs. AFAIK there are very few IEOs that have given good return, that’s why IEO craze if also getting lower.
3874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will not replace fiat currency on: January 17, 2020, 03:49:34 PM
Look at what happening around. The first cryptocurrency bitcoin was invented to reduce the hassle of third party and have borderless transaction. Isn't it true? Now, look at what happening. People are more into investing it than using it as currency.
Most interesting is people are most interested in coin which give more ROI, they are not interested in the currency-ish of a currency.
For example, some people are talking a lot about BSV, but if they have some research, they will never take it as currency, but as this is giving a good return now, it's best for them. Why man? Why don't we look into a decentralized coin? Why do we only take it as investment? Did Satoshi ever take it as investment? Or he invented Bitcoin for borderless payment and solution to the intermediaries problem?

This is true people are using bitcoin as an asset of investment and nobody is willing to take it as currency. There are reasons for that, how many places you have in your surroundings where you can use bitcoin or other associated crypto? Probably very few (if you are living in crypto friendly country like S Korea or Japan), in my case they are none. I hope that answers your query.
3875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome to 2020, the year of cryptocurrency bull market. on: January 17, 2020, 02:24:53 PM
This post was before Iran USA tension and we already have our first bull run for this year due to this war like situation. Don’t just think that coin halving will be the only event that can create a bull run this year. There will be many other opportunities also that can give us good return. Just wait for those opportunities.
3876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are mainstream events linked to crypto's price movement on the market? on: January 17, 2020, 12:02:33 PM
Crypto prices are highly fluctuating and they need some event to move up or go down. I don’t think crypto prices can remain independent of global events. What we need is stability in price of crypto, only that can take crypto into mainstream adoption.
3877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What percentage of net worth do you invest in cryptocurrency? on: January 16, 2020, 02:17:16 PM
It depends on situation, I only invest when I think price is down. In current bull market i will never invest. When its bearish, I put half of my savings into bitcoin and so far it has given me good return. Never put all your money into bitcoin, always spare some cash for usage.
3878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright provided the list of addresses that contains 1.1 million btc on: January 16, 2020, 01:03:16 PM
craig-wright-provides-list-of-16404-bitcoin-btc-addresses-that-contain-95-bln-is-he-real-satoshi

giong to a website like this: https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html and copying a bunch of addresses from there into a text doesn't make that person Satoshi. anybody can do that since bitcoin blockchain is a public ledger Smiley
if he owned even a single output worth a Satoshi dated in early years i am sure he would have already shown in back when he was publicly ridiculed for trying to forge a signature...

Yes that can be done by anyone. This doesn’t prove that he is not Faketoshi.
He should apologize and must admit his fake claim rather than coming with more fake evidence. Let him go to court and get some severe punishment so that others may not do that.
3879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No one ever sells, nor buys anything in BitCoin.. Think this is wrong, read on! on: January 16, 2020, 12:41:43 PM
That is right, no one ever buys nor sells anything in Bitcoin  Shocked Shocked Shocked

Some stores that claim to " accept " bitcoin are just providing a quick and easy way for you to convert your Bitcoin into US DOLLARS, which is what the store gets.  All pricing is done in US DOLLARS, and the store deposits into the bank and operates in US Dollars   SERIOUSLY, could you imagine trying to run a store, and price something in Bitcoin Huh   If you are still to dumb to get it read a few examples below:

If I were looking at car's, a they were advertising selling a Toyota Camry for 3 Bitcoins, one day it would be a total bargain, the next day a fair buy, and the next day it might be massively overpriced.

Would you rent an apartment that really operated on Bitcoin, priced  your lease in Bitcoin of 1/2 bitcoin per month Huh  That would have been great at the beginning of the year, and you would be evicted and homeless now as the price more than doubled.

How about get your salary paid by BitCoin, lets say in January 2018 you took a salary of 1/10 bitcoin per month.  You would be working for almost nothing a year later.

WISE UP PEOPLE,  realize the difference between using bitcoin as a currency, and converting it t US Dollars to use as a currency  🙈🙈🙈🙈

That’s really interesting fact. The main reason for this is bitcoin price volatility. Bitcoin is still valued in US dollar and its own value is yet to come. Things like house rent in bitcoin can be materialized if we have a stable bitcoin who has value independent of US dollar.
3880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: free advertising for btc? on: January 16, 2020, 10:57:42 AM
Bitcoin is no more an ignored thing; everybody is discussing this innovation of 21st century. TV channels need rating and more views, there is no better way to discuss bitcoin in your show to get more viewership and high ratings. In my country bitcoin is see on every channel almost once a week and that’s a positive sign to educate local population regarding bitcoin.
