Real Madrid 0 - 0 Cadiz

the odd in case the real madrid wins the game was @1.18, seriously whoever bet on this odd must have reason to be very angry, and to think that I had bet when the odd was @.1.26 and I did very well to have canceled the bet , real madrid drew with a very weak team even though real madrid was playing with its all good players, even Eden Hazard was playing (I think this guy brought bad luck), I hope he doesn't lose any more in the next game

Most of the people did bet on this ,they seen easy money with Real Madrid and lost,i still dont understand that there was no goals on this match.Cadiz this season getting points from the best teams in the league but cant do nothing against weaker ones.

Looking at Real Madrid's form no one could have saw this result coming, quite a number of people would have had their doubt if it were to be Barcelona, but Real Madrid have upped their game as the season progressed so far and even when that injury challenges it didn't have effects on their results. While being honest, Cadiz were only fortunate to have been able to get away with the point, they did absolutely nothing to be worthy of the point over the course of 90 minutes.

^

OKC win versus Clippers yesterday was something else entirely, it was great a game with a lot of nervy moments in the end. Unlike Timberwolves vs Dallas Mavericks, I literally knew Dallas Mavericks would most likely lose the game, but I just missed out on placing my bet by a fews minutes KP imo is quite too inconsistent to be able to depend on, one night he's good, the next not more than average, it's much different when Doncic can also be count on on the floor.

Ugly game between the Magic and the Nets, Lol, no superstars on both team and most of the players are either rookie or just a player getting from D-league to filled out the spot.

So it's really hard to watch the game, only Patty Mills and Blake for the Nets and I don't know if it is enough to carry the team and with the game as they are down.

It's been a completely different team with only Mill and Griffin leading the Brooklyn Nets, just 2:58 left to play in 3rd Griffin is the only Nets player with a made 3 point, the rest of the team are 0/20, how terrible can it get ? This should be a win for Orlando Magic unless there's a complete turnaround in the 4th, which of course I'm not expecting.

btw: I read about Kyrie Irving making progress of returning to training with the Nets team, but will be only allowed to play in the road matches, regardless I still think it's an advantage to the Nets to have a guy of Kyrie's quality on standby for road games.

I finished 1/3 for the night, both Lakers and Atlanta Hawks couldn't win their respective matches. I'm more surprised about the Lakers having their big 3 on the floor but still look pretty mediocre  Sad

Betting on Lakers' Moneyline should be thought twice. They are inconsistent whether the team is looked at strong or weak. They were defeated even in a healthy lineup by a lower team and even they won, they are struggling to get that win. Recently, they were almost defeated by a less Doncic Dallas Mavericks and they got won because of that lucky shot. I considered that lucky shot as it's a rush.

Better bet on live bet or Lakers Total. A handicap is a good bet too.

Yeah, gotta learn the hard way, I guess.

Giannis, Middleton and Bobby Portis are all out for the Milwaukee Bucks vs Cleveland Cavaliers, I'll be taking the Cavaliers -3.5 here, Even with those 3 on the floor, Cavs would still a tough team to face, but without them I don't think Bucks can pull this off.

I'll also be following @Stadus on Knicks vs Celtics, the spread is currently at +5.5 for Knicks, and I'll be taking that.

Barcelona won their home match vs Elche 3-2 but they still didn't seem to have a very satisfying performance. They still have big issues with their defense. And I hope that Xavi continues to work on it especially. If they don't make their defense much better than now, they would have big problems in the rest of the matches of the season. I really would like to see Barcelona climbing to top places again.

The large percentage of the team today are a set of really young lads trying to get to play together, and their inexperience was evident about how they were about to let the match slip through their fingers, I wasn't surprised even the more experienced team have done that many times too, but I'm beginning to like the fact Xavi his trusting and trying to build something with this squad, I'm not by any means convinced with the team yet, but I believe they do deserve to be given the chance to prove themselves.

I almost missed out on putting in my pick, I went with Arsenal and they've started out really decently, they've got an early lead which could have doubled, Unless we have a typical Arsenal scenario here, this should be an easy win for Arsenal.

3868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 17, 2021, 10:59:46 PM
This week there are five Premier League matches that will be postponed due to the soaring number of COVID-19 cases and many players, staff and coaches who have tested positive for COVID-19. Apart from the Manchester United vs Brighton Albion match which had to be postponed, there were remaining matches that experienced the same thing and had to be postponed. including Southampton vs Brentford, Watford vs Crystal Palace, West Ham United vs Norwich City and Everton v Leicester City. Of course the weekend is not good, especially for fans who want to watch their favorite club on the weekend.

The impact of these postponed fixture would really be fatal for big teams that are likely to still be playing in four or three different competitions, the schedule is already so tight enough, and having to reschedule multiple matches to fit in would be really demanding of the clubs.

^^ I have the Nets all the way:

And then with a parlay with Pacers:

Kevin Durant is animated an clutch in this game and so is Blake hitting that dagger 3 to close out the Sixers. Blake also had a hard time as he assigned to guard Joel Embid in the game.

Warriors vs Celtics - I'm going with the Warriors -3.5.

It was an entertaining game, it would have been a real shame for the Nets after leading by almost 20 points to eventually lose the match.

I'm in on the Warriors -3.5 as well, there is no stopping this team imo.

I'm also taking Atlanta Hawks -3.5 vs Nuggets and Laker ML vs Timberwolves..

Good luck 😉

If Joel Embiid will play, chances they can get a win against Brooklyn Nets. In the latter's last game, they struggle to win against the Toronto Raptors. Kevin Durant did double work to push on a win. A tough challenge for the Brooklyn Nets is Sixers will play healthy in that game.

But I doubt we can expect a healthy Sixers as Joel Embiid still plays last night even with a minor injury and late 4Q on that game, he took a concerning fall but was able to get up with no problem, I supposed. He was listed as questionable on tonight's game.

Game isn't over but the Nets are up 17 in the second.  Obviously long way to go but betting against Durant as an underdog in his own house is usually never a good bet.  Watched some of it and sixers look lazy and Nets are lighting the score up.  Sometimes shaking up a roster isn't a bad thing.  Benches come out with energy.

The game became a really close one in the 4th with several lead changes but Brooklyn Nets were able to pull clear with just some minutes left on the clock, big clutch time performance from Kevin Durant and Blake Griffin. Especially Durant playing with four rookies on floor for several minutes and they were still able to deliver, although some calls that didn't go the way of the 76ers in 4th could have made a huge difference imo, and Embiid and 76er's coach both kept expressing their frustrations.

At least I did somewhat better in the round, I finished 4th position for the round, and I'm up to 13th in the ranking... There wasn't too many unexpected dramas.

What are the chances of the league not been put on temporary hold with the way things are currently ? at least 5 games from the weekend have been postponed already.

My pick tonight.

game : Nets vs 76ers.

Without Harden, I think 76ers would be able to focus their defense on Durant, he is the man that they need to limit as they can afford to see Durant dropping 40+ points again. It's a tough choice for me as always, but I'm leaning on the road team here.

Therefore my pick is ; 76ers ML. GL everyone!

The line has dropped to -2.5 for the 76ers, but I'll stick to the ML @ 1.77

I'm also taking the New York Knicks -4.5 vs Houston Rockets.

Best of luck!

Burnley - Watford has just got postponed due to covid. I feel like this is biggest virus problem in England and consequently Premier League since that first lock down when whole league was on pause.
Please remind me ... what if this match was included in my free bet? Is the free bet refundable?
The game is void (odds 1) and due to the nature of free bet, ie. stakes are not returned it means that if it is only match on your free bet ticket you lost your free bet. If it is a part of multi ticket then it is voided like on normal ticket. In other words to get free bet amount back as actual money you need to hit odds @2 on your ticket.

Yeah, that's correct. I only just figured this out the weirdest was during last week when I used a freebet on a betbuilder (NBA) one of the selection was void which automatically voids the betslip, and I lost the freebet.

I'm getting somewhat scared that as the festive season approaches we might witness more games getting postponed, and that'd ruin the much anticipated holidays for me.

^I was confused too.  Grin

Anyway, I will ride Jating's pick with Atlanta Hawks -7.5 versus the Orlando Magic. They may want to bounce back after losing against the Houston Rockets and they had their 1-day rest so it's a high percentage.

Speaking of the Rockets, how about being the hard underdog against the Cavaliers? Wow, Cavaliers is suddenly that strong team after winning a lot of games and taking the 4th spot in the East. I think Rockets can still cover a +9.5 so I'll go with that.

I think this will be my pick too, I like the Hawks chances, coming back from a defat against Houston Rockets, they should take this one easily.

I'm also going with San Antonio Spurs -3.5 vs Charlotte Hornets..

Oh man slaman29 I just read about Barca's latest news. Aguero's just confirmed he's retiring from football.

I don't know much about the developments of his transfer but I do recall it was all about him finding a home to retire from football and to play with his good friend Messi... only to arrive at Barcelona when Messi gets pushed out, and then now to hang his boots up not in the way he'd have preferred.

I'll always remember him for THAT Agueroooooo goal. Of course he was a great deal more than that.

That's a sad news for football at large, it's better that the problem was detected early, the last thing we want is to witness another player collapse on the pitch.

It's funny how I had a great anticipation for this season, with the hope of Aguero and Messi, little did I know that I wouldn't get enjoy either of them in Barcelona shirt this season, c'est la vie right ?!

They are still very effective for me as they shared the ball very well.

I agree. They still played quite well as a team. Curry was the most scorer of the team as usual but the contribution of the other players was also important. They wouldn't be winning otherwise.

By the way, there was another great game also last night and I think it was even more delightful. Brooklyn Nets hosted Toronto Raptors. And after a very tough competition, Nets were the victorious team with a 131-129 score. They won the game after overtime. Harden couldn't play again due to illness but KD was there to play superbly and save the team. His statistics were like this: 34 pts, 13 reb, 11 ast. It was one of the most valuable triple-doubles surely.

Surely because they won the game, I can say that KD is the definition of a real star like Kobe and MJ because he can carry his team to win alone, that is without his backup, and I love the Nets chances now especially if they will be complete in the playoffs.

Still no news on Irving?

What's the update of his vaccination? is he still gonna stand with his words?
I think Irving will stand on his words that he won't take a jab.

The Nets with KD has well adjusted already and even without Harden and Harris, they still manage to make a comeback and win in OT against Toronto.

And you are right, KD can carry the team on his shoulder, and as long as he is shooting at least 50%, they are going to win games.

I really don't understand the reason behind this situation. AFAIK Irving isn't the only player in the NBA that isn't vaccinated but he's being made a scapegoat ?

I don't understand how they keep saying being vaccinated isn't compulsory and individual can opt not to take the shots, but then this ?

3879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 14, 2021, 04:38:12 PM
Another bet I'm taking is the Houston Rockets +11, the Rockets have been impressive recently and I believe they're being underrated with +11 spread l, even though the Hawks are doing well, I think Rockets should cover this line.

Houston +9.5, it's a better odds for now 1.93 so I will take this one as well.

Houston is playing very well in the last 9 games and winning 7 of them. And they usually a 4th quarter team bursting if they are trying to play catch up and then maintain if they have a good lead.
Good luck to everyone

That was some match, wasn't it ?

Houston Rockets trailed by double digits for most period of the entire match, but that run they made in the 4th Quarter was surreal, D.J. Augustin and Gordon had a really great time.

I wish I threw some bucks on the ML as well.
