3861  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: May 10, 2017, 11:54:10 AM
I don't think Everyone will be using Bitcoin but most likely they will be involved in some digital money. Now in developing countries also where banking is scarce, you will see big pockets of populations using it as they get mobile technology at their fingertips and access to the blockchain. It will though become far more prominent and I see at least one member in each family unit either saving or using bitcoin for all the family as a standard practice. In my family it was just myself involved in Bitcoin and digital currencies, now my Husband, Son and my Father have some limited ties to Bitcoin also..so now we are 4 members who have some connection to Bitcoin.  Smiley
3862  Economy / Economics / Re: The best time to invest. on: May 10, 2017, 11:47:54 AM
If you want to hold Bitcoin long term, then it's never the WRONG TIME to buy it. Many who don't buy now will say in one year's time, I wish I bought Bitcoin back then when it was under 2k USD. If everyone starts even putting 1% of their money into Bitcoin from now, they will be guaranteed a great nest egg, 5-10 years from now, if not much sooner.
3863  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: May 10, 2017, 11:45:13 AM
It may be an outlandish statement to many, but it certainly isn't impossible. Now that the U.S is losing dominance over the World and we are all becoming more financially aware of the banking System and how it works, many are looking at Bitcoin as a safe-haven and as part of their long term investment portfolio. My Father for example is nearly 80 years old and he would have never touched Bitcoin even a couple of years back and now he is asking me questions about how we could mine Bitcoin etc and I even sent him the PREEV website to be able to check the price of Bitcoin. In Japan now, Bitcoin is is classed as a currency and given that status and more and more governments and countries are putting legislation in place in order to give Bitcoin a monetary base. It's finite rarity and blockchain transaction mechanism make Bitcoin a very attractive replacement to the U.S Dollar as a reserve currency and if not in 15 years, maybe later on down the line Bitcoin can have super dominance over the U.S dollar.
3864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC dominance decreasing. on: May 10, 2017, 11:38:39 AM
I am not too bothered about dominance percentages. What fascinates me as that both Bitcoin and Altcoin markets are both surging in marketshare, as both sides of the blockchain are interesting to various factions of Society. More business, investment vehicles and start up incubators are being created on the blockchain now than ever before and this is a wonderful time to be involved in accumulating and trading both. I see Alts as complimentary to Bitcoin and Vice Versa.
3865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: May 10, 2017, 11:31:57 AM
I think if you can various freelance jobs for Bitcoin, then that is my best bet, so I voted for the last one. Of course I would put trading as my 2nd choice, but not everyone is adept at trading and I wouldn't recommend it to Newbies who are starting out. Signature campaigns can be a good start because many people have basic English language skills and can slowly start earning through one of the good signature campaigns that are running.
3866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was the value of 1 Bitcoin when you first mined/purchased? on: May 10, 2017, 08:52:59 AM
I was clicking faucets back in 2010 I think when Bitcoin was 30 cents a piece lol. I wish I had kept the BITCOIN I had earned back then. Then I stopped for around a year and bought a BITCOIN AT AROUND 30 BUCKS to invest in a site that died. That was another blunder. I should have just bought and held for a few years.
3867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: May 10, 2017, 08:36:45 AM
Well, the OP of the thread replied to me via PM..wanted to see if any change since 2014 thread start viewpoint.......er to say the least w/o going into details...he stands by litecoin being a dead coin and going no place ..to paraphrase...I think I can post that much....well ..that answers that I guess Smiley (Time and facts be damned I guess) Smiley

(not like I'm really telling anyone here something new...except that his views are held and solid on LTC's deadness as it were at this date in 2017)

my reply

(Op's reply of how litecoin is dead/going no place ..while not putting down what he said....he basically is standing by his threads view stated in 2014 start)

my reply below

Hmmmm...find that kinda hard to believe...mining since 2014 ltc to btc mostly

currently holding LTC

mining at 6150mh at the below now...I'm making below a month as you can see

this is at 17300 watts (combo of L3's, L3+'s and legacy knc titans) at the current $30.59 LTC price at my data hall electric of 0.077c kwh

24 hours   17.61848877 LTC   538.95 USD   31.97 USD   506.98 USD
7 days   123.32942139 LTC   3772.65 USD   223.79 USD   3548.85 USD
30 days   528.55466309 LTC   16168.49 USD   959.11 USD   15209.38 USD

L3's and L3+'s will ROI with all hosting and electric for the year (less 12,500 monthly knc legacy Titan elec costs) PROBABLY

by June 15th 2017 or July 4th 2017 at the latest.

In that, I have always mined to get my coin. That is 100 btc clear (only mined thus no $$$ invested this is extra after elec/expenses..ie got nothing in but time/hobby/labor)

and probably 3,000 plus LTC in a hoard, along, the same lines as above by July 4th 2017 at worst....

Litecoin has its uses....more so now ..if BTC never gets its act together and scale ....LTC could easily go to $50 or even $100 bucks (yeah I give you the hard to believe view)

So ... I've no complaints....... Smiley BTC clone/zombie clone/nothing new of any note.....imho 'boring' has its place Smiley

WOW that's an impressive stack. I wish I could mine one day but I would need someone to teach me as I am not a very techy person. LTC is anything but dead, especially with the latest SEBWIT developments and more new lay people pouring into the Altcoin Scene. I think LITECOIN is doing a big come back now and I only have a few but am glad I was able to buy at 15 bucks a few to hold. You have a huge fortune now and I want to congratulate you on your mining activities.
3868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can i still get Ardor tokens for my NXT coins ? on: May 10, 2017, 08:18:17 AM
I am not sure now if you can get any more ARDOR as the snapshot was done ages ago but if you are holding NXT now, take it off the exchanges and put it in your NXT wallet as there will be an IGNIS TOKEN snapshot in the 3rd quarter of 2017. All NXT holders will receive IGNIS token which will be the first child chain on the ARDOR platform. For every NXT you own you will earn 0.5 of an IGNIS.. I want to make sure I own some NXT before then as I missed out on owning ARDOR.  Smiley
3869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ETH or ETC? on: May 10, 2017, 08:12:27 AM
I would buy both as a hedge to be honest. It's wise to invest in two upcoming platforms. Both of them have some serious support around the World and still have a chance to grow in price. In the shorter term I believe ETC can bring a good return but over time, both should reap you rewards as it's still early days for both Coins.
3870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Earn Ethereum ? on: May 10, 2017, 08:08:07 AM
There are ICO's in the Altcoin section that might interest you that offer bounty campaigns. Many new tokens are derived from the ETH framework so you can then sell your ETH derived tokens for ETH. This is an indirect way to earn ETHEREUM by either investing in ETH related tokens or joining in ICO
3871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you storing your ethereum? on: May 10, 2017, 08:01:08 AM
I am using exchanges at the moment because I trade a bit but I don't own much ETH. I do have some ETH based tokens though so am using MYETHERWALLET to house those, along with the exchanges. I hope to look into other wallets in the future, when I get more heavily into ETH BASED projects, which is inevitable as many new tokens are being born on the EHTEREUM platform.
3872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DDos Attacks.. Its time to buy buy and buy on: May 10, 2017, 07:59:06 AM
There were a few ddos attacks on POLO as I was checking their twitter account but as I am out of town I can't trade. It is such a good time to buy the altcoins cheap when Bitcoin prices, surge as they always go up again after a BTC price settling. I hope when I get back I can buy a few of the good ones cheap. There are a few really nice ETH AND NXT tokens though that have remained green throughout the recent Bitcoin price hikes.
3873  Economy / Economics / Re: How to double your money using BTC? on: May 10, 2017, 06:46:50 AM
I believe that there are some very good crypto assets one can invest in, this way you can earn dividends and as these crypto assets grow in value, if they are decent ones, you can more than double your Bitcoin when you sell some off on the uptrend. Day trading also can increase your Bitcoin value over time.
3874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Creditbit Signature/Social Campaign(weekly payouts)(JR Member+) on: May 10, 2017, 06:43:15 AM
I would like to do a blog review for CREDITBIT when I get back home, can I do one? I need to get back asap to buy some, even though am in the sig campaign, I want to try to buy some before there is a huge price hike.
3875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRB] Creditbit - ERC20 token on: May 10, 2017, 06:40:01 AM
Now it's the best time to store more CRB. Very undervalued coin!

Creditbit is at 49k-50k satoshi range at this moment, how much do you think it must cost in the market?

I believe it can hit 150k-250k in the next 5 months.

Yes you are 100% right!
CRB just need big markets and also reliese all from roadmap 2 from devs.
CRB price is rising while BTC rising like a star

Now the price of the creditbit is 55k and it seems to be rising back quickly, I think its price can only reach 80k - 100k. 150k seems to be hard but if it receives support from a certain source or from investors, 150k is possible. However if creditbit can be poloniex and bittrex accept, creditbit can achieve the value that we can not predict and this is also what I would like to happen with creditbit in the present time

The marketcap is pretty impressive, but there is still plenty of upside to come with CREDITBIT. I need to get my LIVECOIN account stocked up so I can grow a decent bag of it. I see huge potential, especially as ETH TOKENS are coming to the forefront and China is also coming in hard in this specific niche now.
3876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: TaaS — Tokenized Closed-End Fund on: May 10, 2017, 06:35:57 AM
I gotta thank all the weak hands who can't handle waiting for a dev response; without you I couldn't get such a good entry on one of the lowest float coins in crypto. Keep dumping, I will buy all your coins and collect the entire ETH payout in July  Grin

You are very lucky to pick up so many cheap tokens. I can't sell you mine cheap, the ones I bought or the ones I earned through bounties as I want to earn dividends Smiley. I do give you big congratulations though,  you picked up a ton so cheap!  Smiley. I also want to say thanks to JAMAL for running the campaign for us so nicely and sent my PM to receive my TAAS goodies.
3877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: QIBUCK TOKEN ASSET - PRE-ANN (Replacing QIBUCK COIN) on: May 10, 2017, 05:57:22 AM
I have sent out more assets as requested from emails..It does look like as some people received assets, they also dumped them and other's purchased and requested their assets, so seems like more are going out than anticipated but I guess this is human nature and because we didn't want people to start panicking mainly our fault for starting the swap earlier than the complete closure of POLONIEX DELISTING. It will take some time to build this asset as we need to clear out all the dumping before our issues actually get sold. We will do our best with SAM to grow the asset by ourselves, till we can start selling the Issues..  Smiley. I will be buying from the Issue as and when I can to buy more assets with revenues.. so am not too worried at the moment.. With stress nothing works out properly, with careful planning and patience, everything can be achieved. I am confident we can make this a good revenue bearing asset over time.
3878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN NEXT HALVING - From 12.5 to 6.25 in less than 3 years on: May 10, 2017, 05:39:49 AM
So many factors can come into play over the next three years but the Bitcoin halving, making BTC production more scarce, is one factor that can help a JUICY PRICE increase and miners hoarding their BTC will be the major winners over the long term and from the beginning.
3879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INSANE COIN 🔷 Pure POS 2% 🔷 18.4m Coins 🔷 Master Nodes May 5th,2017 on: May 10, 2017, 05:30:25 AM
so (INSANE) is dead? damn wondering why the price has been so far down

Who told you insane is dead? Maybe INSANE is "dead" and reborn as "INSN". Is very alive Wink

Yes it's always good to educate yourselves and read the thread and posts and keep informed before making assumptions that don't exist. Please take some time to read the latest developments and news about THE INSANE SWAP TO THE NEW AND TECH ADVANCED INSN version of INSANE.
3880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Janus [JNS] Blockchain secured global business NXT - Ardor on: May 10, 2017, 05:15:37 AM
Hi Dev, You need to work your magic and get this great coin on Polo, Bittrex, Liqui or BTC38. This coin also needs to be on a Chinese exchange A.S.A.P.

                     Cry

We have reached out to many exchanges, I don't feel comfortable trying to communicate with translator for a Chinese exchange listing of Janus. Perhaps, if he has time Qiwoman's husband could reach out to some? Or perhaps another Chinese/English speaker would be willing?

Our team has already started work internally and with the community on some options to help with heavier trading. (And no it's not using any fake volume tactic.) We have a solution I believe will work very well, however currently with the new business launching in ETC land, and then the upcoming QA with our newest team member we need to hold off on the execution of those plans for a bit.

Everything we have in Janus as both a team and community has been earned through good decisions and hard work, at this point our team depends on the fact that nothing good comes easy. A large majority of the JNS community has been in blockchain and trading for multiple years, this should speak volumes alone.

I will get Hubby to talk to you on the Weekend.. I am out of town at present will be back home on Friday.. Just let me know what you need and we will get it done..
