3861  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to avoid BTC related scam/fraud when selling thru PayPal on: October 31, 2019, 06:17:03 PM
As said above (and the same thing applies to Paxful), you should check the trust history of anyone you're going to deal with. Just make sure that the feedbacks are new as people buy/sell LBC/Paxful accounts all the time so you could be dealing with someone's that is not the original owner of the account.

As for chargebacks, you can't really protect yourself from them unless you have a second PayPal account (empty) which you could use as a middleman.

An alternative (a better one in my opinion) would be to trade with members on Bitcointalk. I can vouch for: Shasan and Magnavox (they have PayPal on a regular basis).
3862  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Bitpay question on: October 31, 2019, 04:09:22 PM
I can confirm that it's because of the restrictions they applied to some countries. A simple workaround would be to use a VPN (I've reproduced the problem and it worked). The VPN should be running all the time and only during the process of creating the wallet otherwise you'll have an error:

And also some missing functionalities.

3864  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: October 31, 2019, 02:15:39 PM
Bittrex decided to ban my country and to disable my account. That is not problem, problem is because they didnt send me mail or sms (they have all my informations) after they disabled my account I just can withdraw my coins, but I can only withdraw some coins. For example I had Flexacoin worth around 70$ and I don't have option to withrdraw that. Here you can see proff, on Bitunivrse app I have FXC coin but on Bittrex I dont have option to withdraw that coin. My coins are stolen. I writed to support and they say I'm not member anymore and I can withdraw just what I have optioned. Please help.

-snip-

FXC should be tradable for everyone except U.S residents so that's strange, especially that the banned countries have 18th of November as a deadline to withdraw their funds.

I had a similar issue some time ago when Bittrex enforced KYC and didn't allow me to withdraw my funds... so if the support didn't help, there isn't much you can do here. I suggest to simply move to a less strict platform like Kucoin or Binance.
3865  Economy / Currency exchange / [WTS] 300$ BTC [WTB] Skrill on: October 31, 2019, 12:41:46 PM
I'm looking for 300$ in Skrill (1:1 preev.com rates) for my BTC. The lowest trade amount is 100 USD.

I'm only going first If you're more trusted. If interested, drop me a P.M (faster response) or post below.

3867  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto exchanges comparison [trade fee + listing fee + age + mobile app + more!] on: October 30, 2019, 05:55:25 PM
Regarding Okex, while googling about it, it seems like the company is based in Malta now? also, the KYC link is leading to a dead page.
3868  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: How to buy bitcoin with Visa/Mastercard on: October 29, 2019, 02:53:51 PM
Being a new service and asking for 100 EUR as a minimum for CC deposits and 300 EUR for SEPA is not a good way to attract users. I suggest you change that.

Also, the calculation of your fees seems to be broken. I believe you're not taking into consideration the "In fee" while calculating.
3869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Richlist on: October 29, 2019, 02:16:50 PM
1. That's our fault. We have the choice to use fully decentralized platforms but we choose not to because centralized exchanges are more convenient.

2. What's your source? That's inaccurate. ~61% of the coins are being controlled by 16237 addresses.
3870  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Egold withdraw in yobit works on: October 28, 2019, 03:01:43 PM
Am I the only one having problems accessing the website? I'm having an error:

Code:
internal error - server connection terminated

I wouldn't be surprised if this is the end... functional again
3871  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Bitseed alternative on: October 28, 2019, 02:51:34 PM
I wanted to buy a hardware node from Bitseed but apparently, the site is not functional and according to their Twitter, they have been off since June.

Does anyone know any good alternatives? (preferably from experience). Having LN as well is a plus, but not necessary.
3872  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Amazon UK GC on: October 28, 2019, 02:38:51 PM
Why not use the bitpay app to purchase? They do accept bitcoin

I'm looking for discounted (75%) gift cards. BitPay app, Bitrefill, and other providers sell them at 1:1.

3874  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is this OKEx Site is it safe? on: October 28, 2019, 08:05:45 AM
The exchange is reputable and has been around for a few years now, no reason to mistrust them.

If you're not comfortable providing your documents to them, consider using Binance or Kucoin.
3875  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: About Coinsbit Exchange. on: October 27, 2019, 11:38:24 AM
Absolutely no reason to use their platform. There are safer alternatives such as Bittrex and Binance. You can take a look at JollyGood's threads[1][2] for more details.

Duration: At the rate I was making  2-3 months maybe sooner give  a date of 20/01/20
I appreciate your time
Before applying you should read and understand the terms and condition for providing a loan given by the OP.

This service is mainly for trusted members, who for example can't get their hands on their bitcoins for a certain period of time and need money urgently.
Terms:
- You must be a Senior member or above and have no negative (red) trust.
- You can't ask for any loans that have a duration of more than 10 days.

I'm ignoring anyone who doesn't take the time to read the terms. I would appreciate if you could do the same.
3877  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ledger nano live . on: October 26, 2019, 12:54:57 PM
If using Chrome OS, you might need to install Linux. At least, according to this.

Also, if you only have BTC to store, you might be able to use the Ledger manager as it's not depreciated yet.
3878  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is Bitcoin Cloud Decentralized Wallet possible? on: October 26, 2019, 11:08:48 AM
If by that you mean, online wallets that give you control over your private keys then yes, there is GreenAddress and Omniwallet. Even If these services get compromised, your funds should be secure as long as the passwords you used were strong (resistant to brute-force).

Paper wallets are the only cold storage option that is not that easy to spend from on a regular basis. Hardware wallets are very simple to use and secure, I would suggest them over any other wallet.
3879  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto exchanges comparison [trade fee + listing fee + age + mobile app + more!] on: October 25, 2019, 04:03:05 PM
A couple of DEX'es to add:

- Paradex (an exchange acquired by Coinbase).U.S based, No KYC is required, officially launched (main net) in 2018, 0.15% fee. No withdrawal fees as everything is done P2P.

- Radar Relay. It's U.S based as well, no KYC, no fees.

What happened:: The user requested a loan on the 07th of September which he promised to payback within 10 days (17th of September).

Loan Amount: 0.004 BTC
Reason: I know this is a long shot but I need this to partially pay my rent.
I'm currently looking for a job at the moment but I do have a deposit at my bank
I can withdraw to pay it back after the duration of the loan. Maybe I could also give the
option of working for you if you would let me, but anyhow I hope you help me.

BTC Address: 36isScrPyoJWxh5s1tFRX7HyvXAHqKVjZN
Duration: 10 days

If ever, we can keep in touch on Telegram if you need to talk to me in real time:
@wenzani

He did not pay in time. Two days after (19th of September) he reached out to me asking for an extension:

Hi there, I just wanted to ask if I could request an extension on the loan..

A lot of things came up, but I'll get there, I can pay in small increments if you would prefer throughout the period

I asked him how much time would it take to pay the loan back... he never replied. I kept insisting and wrote to him multiple times until he replied saying he would like to work for me to pay back his loan, which I did not accept and once again, asked him how long would it take him to pay back the loan. The last communication was on 12th of October. I haven't heard from him since then. (The user is periodically coming online, last online two days ago).

Hi there, I just wanted to ask if I could request an extension on the loan..

I still haven't heard from you.

I can see that you're ignoring my messages even though you're coming online constantly.

Still waiting for a response.

Hi there OSS, my bad.

Im trying to work up a way to pay back the loan, if you could give me options to work for it or something that would be better..

I don't have any work for you to do. You clearly stated in your loan request that you could withdraw funds from your bank account.

How many more days do you want me to give you?
