3861  Economy / Reputation / Re: asking 'VOD' to remove his bad review on: January 16, 2018, 06:40:27 AM
Why do you care?  You stated via feedback you have 0 respect for me.  What I do shouldn't bother you in the least.
0 respect was for disrespecting me its doesnt mean i dont respect you i really respect you for your job trying make btctalk clean
i delete it
That doesn't change anything. Especially not the fact that you were shady as fuck in the first place. Simply removing your retaliatory feedback also doesn't rectify the fact that you already did it and had the intention of sending it.

It's like if I posted a slanderous article then removed it after it had been exposed to many people.

Sorry about my question, what is SMF ?
Simple Machines Forum.

It's the foundation of the forum.
Read more about it on the official site: https://www.simplemachines.org/

You'll find a lot of layout similarities Wink

3864  Other / Meta / Re: Do not post off-topic replies on: January 15, 2018, 11:27:09 PM
Same issue here, i have posted a couple of replies there, at first it counts on the post and activity but after a day or so when i refresh it disappear, i dont know how that happened and it's wasting my ideas I'm sharing.
Activity and posts disappearing? That would be when you make shitty posts that are insubstantial. It's a you problem and so none of your ideas are being wasted.

There's no value in posts that are deleted and so the only thing that is wasted is both your and the moderators' time.
3865  Economy / Gambling / Re: [GodBit©oin] ~ FAUCET | DICE | HI-LO | Fortune Hunter | Snakes ~ on: January 15, 2018, 10:55:18 PM
Obvious scam. Doubling the deposit is most certainly unsustainable unless you're talking peanuts. Especially when you're offering 35% affiliate commission on top of that. Additionally, the lack of SSL and the fact that the expiration date of the site is in one year makes this extremely suspicious.

Also seems like you don't have any terms written up, which means that you were too lazy to come up with them.
3866  Economy / Services / Re: 🌙🌙🌙 Moonlite Signature Campaign 🌙 🌙🌙 [MEMBERS+] on: January 15, 2018, 09:53:25 PM
Thanks for accepting me, I  updated my signature. Not sure how to wear avatar.
You can't. Avatars are for Full Members+
3867  Economy / Reputation / Re: Forum's stand in regards to users that have Free Tx accelerators threads on: January 15, 2018, 09:52:59 PM
Anyone who is offering these services but actually just pushing the TX via available tools is an outright fraud i.e. scammer. I tag whenever I can, but it's a game of whack-a-mole.
Or... they just don't do anything and have people think something happened, to which they essentially beg for tips.

Really, when you think about it, it's simple: you just target people who are ignorant of how BTC works by promising to accelerate their transaction while the network is bloated, cashing in on new money. Then when it's confirmed (because you give a guarantee of 95% and they are sometimes that 5%) you act as if it was your doing.

It's just lazy scamming, like creating a loan thread.
3868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dont waste your money on gambling websites except this on: January 15, 2018, 09:47:30 PM
This is the funniest shit I've ever seen.

Just look at their FAQ: https://archive.is/nFKSq

"Q. How can i trust to head or tail bet ?
A. This website is 100% trustworthy because it will expose the result of each spinning coin in hash format ,before you bet on that."
And your terms & conditions have spelling and grammar errors.

"You should have only one account, too many accounts may result in difficulty for managing." — this is funny.
There's also no privacy policy and the 'Help And Support' links to a blank page. Hm...

TL;DR: Obvious scam.
3869  Economy / Gambling / Re: Applications in the style of gambling, offered in social networks on: January 15, 2018, 07:05:44 PM
Unlike online casinos and bitcoin casinos where everything is anonymous on social networks it is easy enough to determine that the account belongs to an underage child.
Is it, though? Unless you enforce a KYC policy (similar to that of a casino) you can't really know. And in that case, there's no real point to doing it. It would make gambling more accessible to underage consumers, which is not desirable.

We already have people hooked on different kinds gambling nowadays with some mobile games and loot boxes everywhere now.

Given how people can easily lie about their identity (taking pictures from the internet is as easy as writing an email) it seems a little unethical to allow gambling to be a part of such a medium. Imagine going on Twitter and having a little slot machine in the bottom-right.
3870  Other / Meta / Re: youtube embedding is not working for some reason on: January 15, 2018, 05:41:34 PM
That's not enabled on this forum. Flash and a couple other things are also disabled for security reasons. Just link to the videos (or if you would like to, for style, set a hyperlink onto an image of the thumbnail.)

GIFs work too.
3871  Other / Meta / Re: Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ on: January 15, 2018, 04:45:51 PM
so to confirm you need to be a junior member to post in token altcoin annoucements?
No. You can be a newbie and still be able to post in ANN threads.

what is the cost to pay to become a copper member?

thanks in advance
The cost is currently .00208333 BTC. Up-to-date prices can be found here, where you will be able to pay for the membership: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote
3872  Other / Meta / Re: Can we have a Finnish local board please? on: January 15, 2018, 03:51:52 PM
I think you should be allowed to post on the "other languages" board. Since it is part of "other languages", when there is no other specific category for you to post in.
You would think so, but nope. They are getting deleted without an explanation. Maybe i should post the moderator one more time.
You should really look at the board.
Quote
It is prohibited to create translated ICO threads for Local Languages that don't have their own sub boards. Due to abuse, it is also prohibited for users to create threads outside of their Local Thread. This sub forum is for those languages that don't have a local board to have their own thread to discuss bitcoin in; it is not a place for account farmers and spammers to easily abuse campaigns. If you post threads outside of your own local thread you will be banned.
Via hilariousandco's stickied thread: Do not create threads or post translated ICO Announcements in here

It's for bitcoin discussion. Not shitcoins.
There doesn't seem to be much point given the traffic that the thread is getting, so why bother?
3873  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 999dice.com scammed me out of 0.048 BTC. HELP ME FIND THE ADMIN PLEASE on: January 15, 2018, 03:42:31 PM
hello .. yesterday I sent 999dice support for your problem.

and now i get the answer from admin 999dice.

that ''dutchland'' is a thief.

That guy is a thief. He double spends his deposits. Here are a few of his other deposits:
3A3B63D2C4D7BBF2D7D9D5FE9F3A1AE49A700EF7FD8CB80A4C435BC409DFF4D7
7014F33420784746BE660AD212CB73E4141ED9144EEEFDCBC895F1566A622576
How did the deposit address change? Do you have any legitimate proof that those are transactions related to OP? (I could not find any address linkage between the inputs)

If you've got additional proof then you should lay it down immediately. How come every time, nobody does this?
3874  Other / Meta / Re: Copper Membership Paid | Refreshed and nothing on: January 15, 2018, 03:13:05 PM
It doesn't automatically get placed onto your profile: you have to enable it.
Then, you go back to the page: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote
and use the drop-down menu.
That is, if you did pay it. The amount you sent in that transaction confuses me. Right now, it's showing me that copper memberships are ~.002 BTC. I'm assuming the larger amount is sent to the change address. Did you send a payment for units of evil beforehand?
3875  Economy / Reputation / Re: The Pharmacist - Attacks Filipinos here in BCT on: January 14, 2018, 06:11:03 PM
It would be nice just to be fair and square with others.
Right. Banning all of those spammers would be fabulous.

Never in my real life to make a statements like that will offend someone specially speaking about the race. We do not own their lives and we have no right to control the or say anything bad to them. This is a forum that all people can share together for the common good and not for the interest for oneself.
Hm... at that level of English you're exactly the kind of spammer that most of us are talking about here.

I believe we are a loving community and all were happy to use this forum for many things and not for dragging people down.
Oh, piss off. Loving community my ass. Would a loving community just smear shit all over the forum and spew rancid garbage everywhere they go?
"sir the bitcoin goes up"
"i will never sell my btc because it will being the future"
(some long-ass redundant quote about bitcoin's rise)

I hope the mods can see "The Pharmacist post and have a review on it for fare usage according to the laws.
Which laws? The ones in your country?
3876  Economy / Gambling / Re: Steam Gambling - Service to create your own gambling website ! on: January 14, 2018, 08:27:24 AM
Steam gambling would imply the skins can be deposited.
Stopping you right there. You may not have known this but the 'service' showcased a bunch of popular game-based gambling games. IIRC there was one based on PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and that could be the reason for the name.
Nothing actually related to Steam integration.

And the gallery was taken down. Also, if you take in the fact that this is a likely scam, it's probably not what you're looking for.
3877  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: January 14, 2018, 08:22:07 AM
there is some way to go for the heroes and legendary ... Has anyone already crossed the founder Satoshi Huh
What do you mean? The rank of Founder is reserved for the satoshi account and is unattainable for anyone else. If you're talking in terms of either activity or posts, satoshi has 364 activity and 575 posts... both of which have been exceeded by many members on the forum. Example: me.
3878  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How 999dice.com is stealing your coins, and exactly why you won't believe me on: January 14, 2018, 02:08:51 AM
Unless you show a log with millions of bets where you can show the bets are rigged you cannot acuse the site of being fraudulent.
Have you read the OP of this very thread you're posting on? If you have then you would realize that the site is a scam and that all of your anecdotal evidence should be taken with a very large grain of salt.

The site is NOT provably fair. It's selectively provably fair. Meaning that your bets can and will be rigged... if it's profitable to do so. It wouldn't make sense to exit scam for $40. But for $40,000... sure.
3879  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How 999dice.com is stealing your coins, and exactly why you won't believe me on: January 13, 2018, 11:23:37 PM
why we lose (even if the site is 100% fair)?
the answer is very simple -snip-
Yeah. That's how house edge works.

But even if there is a statistical loss, gamblers like to take the chance to win. After all, life is full of unfair risks—gambling is no different. In relation to zero house edge, you are expected to approach your original bankroll as you gamble more. If you want this to happen then you would simply bet the minimum at the highest chance and continue betting for eternity. Think of it like betting on black & red at Roulette without any 0's.

But this is all irrelevant because the site isn't fair and they cheat players.
3880  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: January 13, 2018, 11:14:59 PM
guys, i have a problem, i hope you'll help me. i am trying to change my avatar, and in my profile information i can see my current avatar, the new one. but when i go to another page of the website, i am still with my old avatar... has anyone had the same problem? what do i do? just wait? i tried to delete it, and the same happens. i have no avatar in my profile page, but then it my old avatar appears again...
It's the cache. Just do a clean refresh to view the updated one.

That would probably be CTRL + F5 on Windows machines and CMD + F5 on OSX.
Your avatar always updates when you set it to but it'll show the old one for your current sessions.
